81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 60% of world population cannot access computer so Bitcoins will fail. on: May 24, 2018, 11:12:52 PM
...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.

This is the number one flaw of bitcoin, which is why bitcoin, for now, will never replace our fiat money nor be the top currency around the world. This is also the reason why not many people know about bitcoin because they can't even get too into an internet connection into the mountains and limited places which is hard to go to but as our technology getting better and better everyday more and more technologies will be made which will help bitcoin reach throughout the world not also that before bitcoin do internet connections must reach throughout the world. Many big companies are already trying this via internet satellite that will reach remote areas around the world.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Starbucks is accepting Crypto! on: May 24, 2018, 10:04:14 PM
Well, there has been a lot of websites that have been accepting gift cards that you can buy through Starbucks, Amazon, eBay and many other gift cards that you can think of. This means that they have never accepting bitcoin but still you can use your bitcoin to buy a gift card but it is still legit. I just can't wait until Starbucks and other coffee chains that will accept bitcoin.  Cheesy
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can now buy Apple products with crypto!!! on: May 24, 2018, 09:29:40 PM
This is really expected, most of the big companies will sooner or later keep up with our future which is the cryptocurrency. Also, this is their competitors are also going to cryptocurrency which they want to compete with them so that they don't get behind when their competitors. There are tons of companies that are starting to go into cryptocurrency, this is a start of the revolution and sooner or later it will be accepted throughout all over the world.

84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you did not listen before, now is last chance to reduce your loss on: May 24, 2018, 09:17:14 PM
Not sure why you insist on what you think of other people but we each one has our own opinions, I do believe that bitcoin is not a bubble because if so it should have popped long time ago but then we all know that bitcoin is a high-risk investment which has a high volatility so it is much expected that it can go as much as high and as much as slow so there so no shocker about that. Let us think of what we think and we will leave you on what you think, you can leave this community if you want it will no one's loss. Wink

Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?

For know I do think that it doesn't really have much of an impact on our world due to many people doesn't have access to computers, not many people are knowledgeable about cryptocurrency and the high volatility of the price of bitcoin. What crypto changed is that it revolutionize how investing works and many people are going into investing due to this many people got rich and got knowledge which is very useful and it also got the attention of the media which helps boom the cryptoworld.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did the use of online gambling increase with crypto moneys? on: May 23, 2018, 04:48:13 PM
We used different deposit methods and there was a lot of fees in the past. What is the link between crypto moneys use and online gambling?

Mostly there are no links between online gambling and the increase of cryptocurrency, online gambling is only accepting the cryptocurrency as a money for the person to play and win but then they don't regulate the currency itself. The fees they take is for them, it is just like a tax but not for the government but for the company that is holding your currency but then it is not bad because there is no tax and the government can't touch them because they are not the ones who are regulating the cryptoworld.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Mental Responses That Will Make You Lose Money on: May 23, 2018, 04:43:47 PM
This is really true, people who are going through this mental responses is due to loss of control to itself, many people feel this whenever they lose money due to gambling and other ways that make them lose their money. Especially in gambling, whenever you lose you always feel or believe that you will gonna win and keep betting even though you already have lost a lot of money and thinking that you still win.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What strategy to follow before investing in BTC? on: May 23, 2018, 04:37:25 PM
I want to make some investment in bitcoin. but considering the market condition, I am confused that what percentage i should invest in BTC.
Could you please suggest the percentage I can invest in BTC safely? The rest of my investment will be placed in alt coins.

Depending on your budget and if you are also interested in a  2 specific altcoin then you can split your money by 50-25-25 percentage. 50% in bitcoin and the two 25% for the altcoins you want, I do think that investing in bitcoin is a better investment than going for altcoins because bitcoin is already established and bitcoin the mother of all altcoins, so giving 50% to bitcoin would be a good choice and the other two 25% on your choice but make sure that it is also legit and good company when choosing your altcoin.
89  Other / Off-topic / Re: Be careful what you wish for.. on: May 22, 2018, 01:21:41 AM
I know all of us just want to make our fellow humans to make them rich, but don't you ever think if all of us are rich then who would want to work for us? And everyone will be lazy. Do you really want all of the people to get rich? Except if humans finally builds a complete operational AI Robot that could do all the work for us.

This probably will happen in the future all of us wants to be rich no one wants to be poor and as our technology advances everyday AI Robots are legit possible in the future taking our jobs and making people lazier and poorer each day but in reality, some people don't want to be rich, people just wanna work until specific time and retire and just relax. We wish for the best but in the end it is only a wish which sometimes it doesn't happen.
90  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will banks ever offer bitcoin deposits? on: May 22, 2018, 01:14:09 AM
We all know how risky bitcoin is. Let's imagine the most riskiest money deposit situation.
What do you think guys, will this moment ever come and banks decide to offer us Bitcoin deposits (e.g. fixed profit on 1 year deposit and etc).
This can be very, very profitable for banks if they make correct decisions.
P.S I don't mean freebitco.in's offer of holds on their wallet. I mean if official banks ever offer us this service.

There are actually banks right now who accepts bitcoin deposits, especially in the US and Canada but there are only limited banks who accept. Most banks are afraid of bitcoin and never get attached to it due to the volatility of the market price and because it is hard for to hold it. If banks actually are smart enough as you said they can earn from it and get some profit but it really depends on the business. I heard that RBC was accepting deposits but then they actually remove it due to reasons. So there are things that make them not do it but for sure sooner or later it will happen.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does experience matter in gambling? on: May 22, 2018, 01:09:12 AM
as I know experience is important in some gambling games such as poker, but how about the other games like dice game or roulette, do you gain any advantage from your experience, can you used your experience to win the game? or maybe because of your experience you know whether to bet low or high in dice game

So Does Experience matter to you?
.

I do think for those games it is actually more in your luck and not much in the experience that is because you can't do anything but just press a button or just pull a lever to play. You can't adjust any settings in the game and get more wins but there is one thing that experience can be used is when you know if that machine has already been won or not and to see which machine is potential of winning but mostly it is more on luck than experience.  Cheesy
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Basic requirement of mining BTC. on: May 21, 2018, 04:44:15 PM
First of all, Welcome to the community. We are glad that you have decided to join and learn about cryptocurrency and not we are not all experts we base on our experience. For your question, Basic requirements for mining is that you need electricity, if you can get a free electricity then you so lucky because it will cost a lot and you need to keep your mining running 24/7 for you to earn. 2nd, you need a mining rig, which you have 2 options to choose. You can first, you can get an ASIC miner which will cost you 1-2K and second, you can buy a GPU preferable the highest one which is a TITAN or a 1080TI which will still cost you a lot so if you can get those you can mine a profitable with it. Lastly, a legit computer that takes on in mining. Those are the basic requirement of mining BTC. Good luck Cheesy
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Bitcoin Artwork, What do you think? on: May 21, 2018, 04:31:50 PM
I really like that artwork, it is really clever and it looks really nice but in reality, right now it is still impossible to replace fiat with cryptocurrency due to many problems that crypto is facing right now. It is hard especially for us to see how bitcoin is kinda falling down but still many of us believe that sooner or later it will bounce back again in the future years. What we can do is believe and keep investing. People like who draw this kind of artwork inspires me that I'm not the only one who believes but there are also many people who are willing to invest with bitcoin, so let's keep it up.  Wink
94  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: May 20, 2018, 04:23:32 PM
If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

In our country, it is not illegal to gamble when you play in casino or online if it is managed by the government or private that is legit approve by the government but it is illegal if you have a gambling business which is not registered with the government and making a profit without giving tax and etc. into the government so it would be illegal. If it is illegal in our country why would I bother gamble? If it would just be a waste of time and it would be illegal anyways so I would not care about it.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: May 20, 2018, 03:18:48 PM
As you said bitcoin is really different with other currencies it is run by a computer and it doesn't have an actual form of money. It can never be duplicated unlike our real money today which is easily duplicated by criminals or the government but the disadvantage of bitcoin is unstable of price and it is still hard to say if it will be stable soon will it be stable in the future but for now bitcoin is a great investment and you can really earn from it if you know what you are doing.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can a goverment trace you have BTC? on: May 18, 2018, 02:59:12 AM
How can the government discover I own BTC, let's say I'm from Venezuela where crypto is banned, what they can do to discover and arrest me?

First of all, it is easy to see your IP address and the government can actually see what you are browsing, with their IT experts or with their hackers that can access your computer easily. Also, what they can do is ban all crypto related and if you try to go to a website it will show a warning or an error that it impossible to access. They can easily track you especially if you make transactions online and they probably can arrest you depending on the government rule in Venezuela.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US Supreme Court Overturns a Decades Long Ban on Sports Betting on: May 18, 2018, 12:20:37 AM
Sports betting has been the nature of people and many are really into gambling with sports. In my opinion, this decision by the US Supreme court would actually help the government earn more money by asking for tax and other fees in gambling and they want to regulate it to see how much revenue they can get with it. They want people to gamble more and to take the risk of being broke for their own benefits. I don't know how government gets a lot of money but still there are many homeless people on the streets which they really don't care about them.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: May 17, 2018, 10:39:45 PM
Those people "Panic Seller" are people who are inexperienced and never understand cryptocurrency, they are just joining the trend especially when the market price of bitcoin skyrocket into 20K but then those "Panic Seller" never understood what is happening that is why they are immediately selling their coin and not attaching themselves with bitcoin. As they don't have any idea what is happening it is good that many people got interested in bitcoin but then proper understanding, having the knowledge, and eager to learn will help those people.  It is not hard to learn when you are really interested in learning.
99  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Is Banning Ads for Bitcoin and ICOs on: May 17, 2018, 02:10:41 AM
This is probably why I haven't seen cryptocurrency advertisements on facebook because before there were a lot of ads popping out whenever I scroll to my Facebook. This is probably a good idea because it is kinda annoying to see ads in different places and just popping out whenever it wants. Also, another possibility that I can think is that Facebook may want to try to make their coin Facebook coin which makes sense because they are a multi-billion company who can do anything, it is possible and it can happen if Mark Zack will be interested in crypto.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to be used as world currency? on: May 16, 2018, 05:24:42 PM
For a long time, now the political elite and the leaders of the Vatican have been looking for a world government and currency,

I do believe that bitcoin is a part of financial future and great way to become an investor, but I have doubts that it can possibly replace traditional money or become world currency.

What are the possibilities and stopovers??

There are still a lot of flaws and problems that bitcoin is still facing right now and I do think it would be still impossible for bitcoin to take over the world currency due to the volatility and the security online. There are still things that bitcoin can be improved but for now, it would be still impossible but right now Bitcoin is a great source of investment and can be a great alternate source of income especially if you are good in trading. There still many great things that bitcoin can do and we can use this advantage to earn more.  Wink
