going all in on anything is life is not always the best choice

you risk to lose everything, whatever that is, if things go the wrong way

try to diversify if you have the capital, buy things outside the crypto world which are considered fairly saved in contrast to cryptocurrencies
82  Economy / Economics / Re: £500 to spend, on Ether or Bitcoin? on: September 21, 2017, 10:21:21 AM
I'd recommend ETH

With ETH you can more easily invest in ICO's if you decide to do so

you can divide it by five and invest hundred to five different ICO's (which you've researched carefully and believe will have a future)

you'll have higher return on investment this way than just holding ETH or BTC
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: September 21, 2017, 10:19:11 AM
more and more countries will start regulating cyrptocurrencies one way or another, which is a good thing because

1) frauds will be reduced (many are abusing ICO's and rip-off people)
2) regulating the market will give it validity and more conservative investors will join the crypto market
84  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 20, 2017, 10:06:18 AM
yeah, it's gonna take a while but people will eventually catch up with it. Integration is very low currently due to low adoption, but as the technology and solutions get better the more people will find it useful to transact via BTC
85  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: September 20, 2017, 10:04:55 AM
to start with insider info is illegal. You might profit but getting caught can get your in real trouble

That is for regulated markets, such as public companies who are "supervised" by authorities such as the SEC

Bitcoin is not regulated, it's decentralized, and is more prone to price "sabotaging"..
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: September 20, 2017, 10:02:32 AM
try to diversify your portfolio as much as possible. That means don't invest everything just in Bitcoin

Buy shares / commodities (gold) / bonds and even consider real estate. The more diversified you are the more "safe" you are, in the sense that if Bitcoin breaks tomorrow you're still gonna have your stocks/gold and vice versa. That means of course that you are not going to be profiting as much, if Bitcoin's value does increase even more eventually, since you will be only party invested in it. Either way, make your choices according to how risk tolerant you are
87  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is everybody dumping Bitcoin? on: September 20, 2017, 09:58:25 AM
China is slowly taking down exchanges and wants to regulate cryptocurrencies more, negative comments from respected investors about BTC are influencing price as well

people are afraid of losing their entire investment and so they sell. If you can't afford losing what you're putting up on the crypto market don't invest in the first place
88  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: September 14, 2017, 01:28:09 PM
nah.. just because it has 1 bitcoin is worth 4k dollars doesn't mean it's the strongest. Quite the opposite. It's market capitalization is about 50 billion.. which makes it an extreme volatile currency. The market cap of the US dollars is about 5 trillion, which is why it's value doesn't fluctuate that much - which is goof for people who use it, because they won't wake up the next day and see the value of their dollars reduced by half
89  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: September 14, 2017, 12:57:26 PM
it's highly unlikely that one currency will be used internationally, what is more likely in my opinion, is that several thousands of additional (virtual) coins will be added and used by people. That has the benefit that a crisis wouldn't have a huge effect internationally, since things are not that interconnected anymore
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: September 14, 2017, 12:23:44 PM
most of the things you mentioned are not true.. economies are mainly build on debt and credit, and America is doing a hell of a job in that regard. Can they improve other things? Sure, but we all can
91  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: September 14, 2017, 12:12:51 PM
there isn't a limit on how long bitcoin can last. It will last as long as people will use it, it derives it's value for that exact reason - cause it's being used, it's therefore "useful" and has value
92  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: September 14, 2017, 11:53:00 AM
planning, patience, calculations, research and the will to do these things of course. If you feel forced doing those things, I'd recommend to look for something else
93  Other / Off-topic / Re: jesus on: September 13, 2017, 03:35:37 PM
everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you believe in God good for you, but respect the people who don't, and the same goes for the people who don't believe in him, respect the people who do.
94  Other / Off-topic / Re: 21 BTC Locked up on: September 13, 2017, 03:31:54 PM
damn.. always sucks hearing those stories. These are the ones that motivated to be extra careful about my wallets. So in some sense, I thank you sir, for doing the mistakes which others have learned from

96  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the solution for global warming? on: September 13, 2017, 02:47:50 PM
well we should all start to calculate how much we actually need to spend, because everyone spends more than they should. Too much gas, too much electricity, too much water. All this adds up if you multiply it by 6 billion (earth's population)

I've been loving anime since very young, it all started with Dragon Balls.. oh the nostalgia. Most of the anime shows nowadays are not even worth to watch, unfortunately
