Awesome! Is there any way to quickly see which pool or address ended up mining the mega block? I mean, I can look at my wallet to see if there is a bump but outside of that something on the website could be a good idea. Of course. Use the blocktracker, it shows the block number. Then input that number into the explorer. Shows you the address. |

Simple question from me (I'm a newbie, I don't know that much about trading and whatever) – what's the minimum investment amount here?
You'd have to check on each exchange what the minimum transaction is. I'd suspect that it's around $10 equivalent but please check. The main point is it's pretty low. |

I have mixed feelings about the just concluded Airdrop which wraps up the entire Airdrop giveaway. I wished it continued, however I look forward to new updates in coming weeks
Well they cant just keep giving out 'free' coins and expect the value to increase. People (which probably includes you!) just dump their airdrops and don't stick around and build up the project from a ground level. Airdrops are good for awareness raising but that's about it. I agree. Airdrops have served their purpose for now and we want to focus on development. Generous bounties will hopefully attract new members to the team amd expedite/improve technology. If you can help us why not join us? We may have some future ADs but we'll let you know. We'd prefer to use funds for actually delivering roadmap objectives. |

How can the problem occur that your wallet is stopped, but I'm sorry I can't help you because I also don't understand that The issue has been resolved and fully synced. What i am facing now is to mine. Please try read my above two immediate post, if you can assist. Thanks Have you set the pers_string variable? Just copy and paste the config on page 1 of this thread for your specific pool. |

I´m very happy to become a member of this project, I can´t wait for the official launch, I hope it does before the bullish market!
The bullish market is near to come and I am pretty sure genesis project already achieve great improvements that time and will be able to achieve more increase in the coins price. The developers of genesis project are really active and serious with the developments, I have noticed active participation of the team and I have seen lots of active community members here. It's crazy to see a whole Team responding and participating with the community like they have. I haven't seen any other Project do this to this extent. I think Genx Team is setting the standard, That bridges the community and the Team. Close the genesis wallet. Back up your wallet.dat file (dump the private keys as well) then delete the roaming folder. Reopen the genesis wallet and let it sync. I suspect that your pc crashed or there was a disk error corrupting the chain. |

Masternodes are coming this phase. Russia is somewhere that we really want to target, we already have a lot of Web traffic from there. Let me review your link. To have a MN support as well as support with users is one thing, however if when you're going to try to make the coin useful over there, be prepared for a LOT of government red tape if not an outright ban. It's business, we'll find a way to make things work. There are many challenges in the crypto world at the moment and we'll face them head on. It'll be a bumpy ride but it's necessary if we're to witness true adoption across all projects. Firstly we're going to develop the product (implement the next phase of the roadmap). Once we have a proven, working product we can then begin reaching out for wider adoption. Hopefully some of this will be organic based on the merits of the platform. |

Oh, another thing I forgot to ask was, how is the POS - Proof of stake coming? Also, when it gets implemented, what % annually will staking be? I'm assuming between 5-10% and then maybe stair stepped down gradually.
Staking is coming along nicely. It's something we've done in other projects so the technicalities are well understood. As for the specification of pos we aren't ready to disclose yet. Once everything is tested and working then we will disclose to the community. |

I have a laptop and I want to try $GENX mining with my laptop.
But before I start learning about it, anyone with the $GENX mining experience here can tell me what the minimum GPU configuration to join the mining is?
You can mine with any GPU but performance will be greatly hindered with age. I would also be careful with cooling on a laptop. Given the current price it probably makes more sense buying if you do not have dedicated hardware. |

We're not too worried about exchanges yet. Once we have pos and MNs implemented we'll target the larger, established exchanges. We have experience with this process and it shouldn't be an issue. I saw some members have avatar on each of their posts. Maybe we could create a nice genesis avatar and let members wear it with some good rewards. This would let members who are commited to wear other projects' signatures to instead wear genesis avatar. Unfortunately, i heard that only full members and above can have picture/avatar on their profile.

I'm gonna miss this Airdrop ( and I'm not a airdropper usually) - but the way they have been doing this is just well done. Of course thay have such a moderators there! You know what I'm referring to , don't you?
Anyway I really hope it does take place because we need something scalable in the commerce and web gateway that everyone could use like 10 years ago when PayPal came out of nowhere.
Just believe in a privacy mode and here you can be fine. It's not on the tor network I know but it's fair for what they're doing.

It's compatible and trivial to do. Many projects make a big fuss about tor integration but it really isn't a big deal as most wallets can be proxied over it. The reason for not choosing it explicitly is due to the nature of a payment platform. |
