This fact really amaze that the price of some token also depends to the person, It shows that Vitalik is a powerful man.

Yeas, Vitalik himself is a little bit centralized Smiley

There are some threads to sell merit points that can be seen in the sale. Thus merit purchase is not right.Because those who give Merit Power only should only rank them with Merit. And if someone buys Merit and increases its position, then they will not be able to help small members in any way.Even Bitcoin will not be able to post anything positive. And those who get Merit because of knowledge , they will always be able to do everything. So buying merit point should stop selling.

I want all the senior members' opinions about this
Please forgive me if I'm wrong

Too bad that I am not a senior member, so I cannot express my opinion about this.

People still send their bitcoins to that address, as a sign of respect, but no one can access it, not even Satoshi, so they are forever lost. Initially, there were 50 coins, but people sent another 16.84 in 1264 transactions, now there are 66.84 coins.
Actually, only the block reward is unspendable in the genesis block address. The funds that have subsequently been sent to that address can be spent by Satoshi, assuming he has the associated private key.

Thanks, I will correct that Smiley

How many Bitcoins do Satoshi Nakamoto have?
It is often possible to hear that Satoshi has 1 million bitcoins, but is it so?

The fact is that there is not one address on which there would be 1 million. It is only known that most of the first 36,000 blocks were found using a single computer, which could only belong to Satoshi, the reward for the block was 50 coins at that time, for each block reward a new address was created with 50 coins, 63% percent of these addresses are untouched up to now, which suggests that they are all belong to Satoshi, and this is 1,148,800 bitcoins.

If we calculate their value for today, it turns out that Satoshi has $ 6.8 billion in bitcoin, $ 0.76 billion in Bitcoin Cash, and insignificant sums in all other forks.

In theory, Satoshi can safely transfer a bit of bitcoins, to pay his bills for the Internet for example, and remain unnoticed, or rather we will not know exactly that it was his addresses.

Here is the address of the very first block (Genesis block):

1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

People still send bitcoins to that address, as a sign of respect, initially there were 50 coins, but people sent another 16.84 in 1264 transactions, now there are 66.84 coins.

Interesting fact is that the block reward is unspendable in the genesis block address, but the funds that have subsequently been sent to that address can be spent by Satoshi, assuming he has the associated private key.

Also in this block there is an encrypted message from the creator of bitcoin:

Quote
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks".

Probably, Satoshi showed in that way that he is ironic about the banking sector.

Added a post about Satoshi ‘s Bitcoins.

(Genesis block):

1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa

Quote
"The Times 03/Jan/2009 Chancellor on brink of second bailout for banks".

“The Times 03 / Янв / 2009 Канцлер готов оказать повторную помощь банкам”

Вероятно, так Satoshi хотел поиронизировать относительно банковского сектора.

Добавил пост о биткоинах Satoshi.

87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you research altcoins? on: June 22, 2018, 04:35:52 PM
How do you research altcoins to invest in? I'm talking about legit/long term investing in projects that have real potential to become something that creates value.

How do you find the coins you're looking for?

What are your go to tools?

It is easy, a promising coin should be different from others, it should have such properties no other coin has, and ideally it should be created by some known outstanding developer.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 22, 2018, 02:52:39 PM
I ever heard that people choose to quit their job for doing some crypto job. Whether it is trading, mining, or bounty. But I think that's the worst idea. Maybe they think that kind job like that can earn many profit but they doesn't looking at the risk and keep do it. Look at the market, they stay red and it will hard to get profit from investing or trading. GPU price is more expensive as well as a lot of capital to be spent when starting mining. Also Bounty Hunter has bad condition right now with too many SCAM ICO which caused some of them just wasted their time and doesn't earn anything.

How they can earn money for daily need if only depends on the crypto?

As for me, it all depends from the work, in countries such as Japan, for example, or USA, it is not worth quitting a job, but if you live in some third world country where you are payed a penny and you can easily find a job in the future, then I think that in this case, you can quit a job.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ways of investing money? on: June 22, 2018, 02:41:43 PM

Are you looking for new ways to invest money? ICO? or other projects? Or on the contrary ... All your money is already invested in the crypto currency and work?

I want to hear your opinion?

Or is it worth to abstain from such a situation on the market?

Now a lot of people are spoiled by the crypto, I think that if we look at investments in the real sector of the economy, many of us will think it's a scam Smiley For example, 40% a year, this is considered a very successful investment, while we often can see such income over one day, I do not even know where I can invest, I am investing in the crypto, actually I have already invested, and I think to keep it to the end, either until my investment will become worthless, or until I get rich.
90  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: June 22, 2018, 02:26:58 PM
Behind many of the tokens are companies whose success, should not depend from the price of the Etherium or Bitcoin or all crypto in general. It is, for example, such projects as Nucleus Vision, Basic Attention Token, it seems to me that many such projects will survive in the future and their percentage will be much greater than the percentage of currencies the purpose of which is just to act as payment means.

Interesting thread! you should add Adam Beck and Roger Ver profiles.

Thanks, I will read about them. I try to add here something that I was impressed by. I heard that Roger Ver kept his 300 000 bitcoins since 2011, I think he is the one who really believe's in crypto:)
93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption can save lives now! on: June 22, 2018, 06:49:25 AM

Let's increase Bitcoin adoption today, and save lives!

Also more likely, I think, we will se cryptocurrency adoption in such African countries, because mostly people there do not trust in their banks, and national currencies, it is usually a huge inflation, cryptocurrency my become a solution.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Altcoins are Securities? on: June 22, 2018, 06:00:08 AM
ICO tokens do not fit in any one of the existing terms, so they need to come up with a new one, because they are programmable, and at any time they can be reprogrammed and their properties can be changed.
95  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 1 ETH - should buy alt or hold on to it on: June 21, 2018, 06:58:47 AM
From my opening, holding ETH will be the best choice. You can trade it against USD. Now, Most of the coin are going down. So holding ETH will be best.

I would say that on the bear market holding ETH was really good option, because it did not fell in price a lot, but on bull market, I would say that it is much better to hold altcoins with a small capitalization, because they have bigger potential to double in price.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin difficult to understand? on: June 21, 2018, 06:24:55 AM
People are treated with apprehension and distrust to everything new, just like people immediately treated electricity, internet and credit cards. I think time will pass, it can be five or ten years and people will begin to understand and trust to bitcoin and will get used to it.
