ive done the update and wallet is now syncing, but the total wallet balance has dropped, and doesnt reflect the actual confirmed received transactions in the wallet, all have 6k+ confirmations and only the recent staked that have been rejected is there a reason for this?

yes the high hash counts are the people running mh's not someone running one processor running 1-2kh, he wouldnt be effected, but mining at the minute is pointless due to the mh's miners

This exactly, the coin price is only going down now, and in a few weeks to a month or 2 it will drop down to 1-2 sats, happens everytime, you need to get in early, make your money, and sell when the price is decent, i sold all mine a week or so ago, and the price has dropped ever since, it will never recover due to how many new coins are coming into supply.

Hi, just done a test amount and exchange is working, though i'd advise changing the coin abbreviation to DNCC to match the coin and also maybe change the icon to match the coin as i was a bit confused at first and not sure if this was the correct one so was a bit put off, will use this exchange to buy DNCC though if anyone is selling

The magi network has its own custom reward structure, basically the more people that mine it the less rewards are given per block, before Christmas the total network hash rate was between 10-30mh/s and each block was rewarding between 50-100 magi coin, then after Christmas when they performed the fork the amount of miners has increased and now the network hash rate sits around 100mh/s and each block is rewarding less than 1 per block. Now if you consider some of the big miners on the network are mining with 10,000kh/s+ the share you will get from even 10 pi's giving you 120kh/s will be next to nothing so little in fact with my 8 pi's and pc making 200kh/s and was only getting around 0.0001 per block, it used to be really good to mine with pi but not anymore, there are still a few profitable coins out there you can switch to on the pi's but you will have to do quite a bit of searching to find compatible miners and guides, i have 5 separate algorithms that i can mine on my pi's, i have them mining something else for the minute and hopefully if the network reduces and you get decent rewards again i will switch them back to magi.

i found that guide the easiest, make sure you use network cables and decent power sources and you should get above 12kh/s, useless at the minute though with network weight, before christmas you could make 0.5 coins a day with a pi, now its about 0.00001

turn off avast or add the file and program to the safelist within avast, a lot of miner programs and wallets will be blocked by av, just make sure you download the correct one

quite a few of the blocks have been pos blocks, im guessing it will continue until 2500 pow blocks have been done

it looks like pos also started straight away, small rewards being given under pos in the block explorer, i'm yet to stake but my coins arent aged yet

will the pow rewards ever be adjusted for the network weight now, or is this going to be the block reward structure from now on? i only ask because across all cpu coins the hash rate has increased a fair amount over the last few months, it isnt just xmg that is suffering with a lot of high hash power miners and i dont think the network amount is going to drop anytime soon, will the reward structure get changed or will it be left on low rewards as long as the network weight stays that high?

you can mine it a few different ways, its uses the cryptonight algorithm so just look for a supporting miner and pool that mines it

staking is not active yet, currently still in pow phase, check first page for exact block switch over, but think its expected around the end of February/ beginning of march for pos phase to start, hold onto your coins until then, keep mining or buying for the minute, the recent price drop makes it one of the best times to buy before it goes back up again in a month or 2

asap, the market will hit quite a dip over the next few weeks/months, a lot of coins lost value last night and it will continue, you will be better to sell now, and then buy back again in a week when it's dropped to 30 sat, xgox is going to be a good investment for later in the year but im predicting a tough couple of months

I tried the links on the twitter but i get the same connection timed out as the pool, and i think luckypool e-mails are probably just getting stopped by e-mail provider then, at least im unable to receive the e-mail through hotmail, and im a bit impatient, i'll just change pools instead of re-registering

just a further update

1- crypto.n-engine.com, mining is working now, all blocks were getting orphaned so no YTN to pay out, message from pool owner this morning - "orphan issue look fixed, say thx to auto wallet backup and address change without notification to Yenten wallet DEV."
2- antminepool.com - working but to many people were trying to connect due to crypto.n-engines and bunnyminning problems.
3- Bunnymining.work - heard this site is currently undergoing ddos attacks so access to the site is virtually impossible, (some people have managed to withdraw their YTN, i havent been able to get logged back in yet.)
4- yentencoin.com: Doesnt work...
5- bluepool.info: Doesnt work... website offline...
6- nosekefik.com: Doesnt work... No yescryptr16 algo available
7- luckypool.org: Dont know if it works or not... I cant login (they didnt send confirmation mail...) - same for me been waiting for 2weeks for e-mail never arrived and have requested it a few times.

9- bilbotel.fr: Works but too many rejects,- i had a try on this pool, i was getting a few rejects but nothing major, may be server location, i guess its located in france so anyone outside europe will probably get a higher amount of rejects due to latency when new blocks are started. The rejects i got seemed to be milliseconds before the new block appeared so probably just latency problems with the server.

And im guessing since all of a sudden loads of new people are coming on this forum, complaining about the pools, claiming exchanges are not paying them, ddos attacks happening to the biggest pools, looks like someone or a group of people dont like YTN and are trying to make it flop, ddosing the pools, spreading fud on forums is a good way to make a coin look like its about to die, im just happy some people are scared, they are selling their YTN well below value because of this, and anyone who buys at the current price will probably make a killing buying it up and waiting a month,

seems strange for them to stop withdrawals on them coins, i have withdrawn a few hundred pounds worth in the last week on stocks exchange, everything from btc, ytn, doge, xgox, aerm and havent had a single problem with the withdrawal, they tend to be a bit slower than the other exchanges in withdrawing and depositing but still normally goes through the same day, why is your first post on this site to say an exchange is a scam, have any screenshots of them not paying your balance? withdrawals being stuck for days and not being processed?
