81  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ethereum and stellar on: August 18, 2019, 07:08:59 PM
I am more inclined to invest in ethereum because many use the ethereum chain
Ethereum is a coin that house other coins(token) and that makes it to pride itself as one of the used cryptocurrency!  The current declining in ethereum and stellar price is not new to us and the current market setting is what we have experienced several time in this cryptocurrencies era. We are to buy now that we can afford ethereum at $183 and stellar at $13! Time is coming and that time may not be far from now when we would be seen ethereum above $500 again. Stellar on the other hand is one of the best coins and I began to like it after reading the whitepaper.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What are the benefits of a decentralized exchange? on: August 17, 2019, 07:53:24 AM

As the number of crypto tokens increases, so does the need to convert and redeem crypto tokens. About centralized exchange we have knowed a lot, and can anybody tell me something about decentralized exchange? and What are the benefits of a decentralized exchange?

I sold some of the tokens/coins i do earned from the bounty and other bonuses from investing into ico easily because i or some one has launched or listed those tokens in a decentralized exchange like forkdelta,  etherdelta or any of the decentralized exchange. I see this as a great benefit because it gives power to the holders to be able to decide what they want to do with their money at any particular period of time. It is far and absolutely secure than the centralized exchange and that is because you hold your private keys.
83  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong Activist Leader Calls For A Run On Chinese Banks Tomorrow (Friday) on: August 17, 2019, 07:13:02 AM
How much fiat is available to be withdrawn through ATM or any mode of drawing? We would not say this will not affect banks but the positive effect of it on crypto currency or bitcoin will be very minimal! The bank will always find there way around this as the role there plays in China may be different from what happened in other countries and if customers withdrawal are going to affect Chinese economy I think the government is going to intervening through monetary policy.
84  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think ETH will bounce back to $600 or back below $100 ? on: August 16, 2019, 07:36:39 PM
Guys, i am new here, i was buying ETH today. I'm not really following this, i just thought ETH is still cheap now and 2020 seems cryptocurrency get many big event (libra, ETH 2.0, btc halving day)..
Did i wrong ? Did ETH still good ?
Why Ethereum might have difficult time in recovering to $600 or above soonest is because of the bitcoin dominants that keeps increasing. When ethereum get pumped in January last year and the trading volume even surpassed that of bitcoin was because of the mining’s fees and transactions fees of bitcoin that went too high then and people has no options than to began to used ethereum for transactions! To me it is more easy for ethereum to fall to $100 than grow to $600 soonest.
85  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit.com SCAM on: August 16, 2019, 07:00:26 PM
Someone @ me in chat. Told me to PM. I PM. He ask me for help to make bits. I said ok because i was getting 50% of his winnings. I msg on discord. He msgs on discord. He says he needs to see me play so Share screen. I share screen on discord. He tells me to make an account for him on bustabit so he can send 200k so I will play for him. I made the account, sent him the BTC deposit address, sent him the password to his account, he delays. 2 mins later I get logged out of @CYMRU (my account that got hacked) and I notice i cant log back in, he then leaves the call, then I see him playing on my account. Then here I am, back to having $0 to my name and sitting here on the verge of crying cuz this money was money was quite important. This is by far the worst thing that has happened to me all my life, losing $500. I need to know how this guy pulled it off because I don't know how he did it on discord. I didn't click any links or downloaded anything suspicious.

I wish I recorded the calls but I never thought the situation would ever come to this.

Here’s video of all I got from it; https://streamable.com/0k32v
Here’s a picture of someone else that had this happen to them, but the thing is I never download AnyDesk, It all happened on discord. Although he did ask me to download it. : https://imgur.com/a/QVjcaiR
When I read the tittle for the first time, I concluded that someone is getting something wrong because we know the owner of bustabit and bustadice to be a person of honor and the sites has been with us for a very long time . It is better that this thread should be kept for reference purposes because @op is misunderstanding something here and that is taking someone that has account with bustabit as bustabit! When dealing with someone online it is better to be wise and go into any action when you are hundred percent sure that what you are doing is right and your funds is not at risk in any way.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Illegal activities is giving cryptocurrencies a bad image on: August 16, 2019, 06:51:30 AM
you should understand that in the real banking sector there are money thefts and hacker attacks are ten times higher. much more money is lost there than in the cryptocurrency market
The real theft are in governments and the banking system! But that did not justify the rate of scamming and fraudulent activities that are going on in crypto currency space. $3billion has just been currently moving to mixer service by a Ponzi scheme operator and that was investors money. If it is in the banking system at list bank could report it to governments financial crime bodies, because it is centralized those type of funds can be traced, unlike what is happening in cryptocurrencies' fraud.
87  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will reach $100k within 5 years from now on: August 16, 2019, 05:40:11 AM
With an ever-growing user base, as well as, development and innovation, Bitcoin is heading towards new heights within the mainstream world. We've already got the Lightning Network in the works, atomic swaps are on the way, privacy solutions have already started taking place (with CoinJoin wallets like Wasabi and Samourai), and ETFs are on the verge of being approved soon. With all of these exciting events, there's no reason why Bitcoin shouldn't rise in price in the first place. I believe that it's very undervalued right now, but with greater demand from institutional investors, prices could hit the roof.

If Bitcoin continues its pace, it could very well reach a price of $100k per coin within 5 years from now. Even if it takes a little longer than that, Bitcoin might still reach that price because of its deflationary design. With everything in place to become a successful cryptocurrency, I'm sure that demand will rise over time.

What's your opinion?  Huh
My heart grading me whenever I had about this type of positive views about bitcoin. It is not because I am holding but I feel that bitcoin is still very undervalued and if we look at what we can used this technology to do, $100,000 and above should be it rightful price. I am in the same views with you and 3 to 5 years to come Bitcoin should be able to trade above $100,000 because a lot private’s adoption are going on.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin Likely to Double in Coming Months on: August 15, 2019, 08:08:35 PM
If Litecoin will increase its price this month, my hope is not to double or triple.  I want the price of Litecoin to go up x10 from now on.  For me, the Litecoin price is too cheap for a good Altcoin Litecoin class.  Litecoin prices should be able to compete directly with Ethereum Prices
Litecoin is one of the old coins and if you look at it price of $75 you will find out that it is seriously undervalued. Since the halving it have been going down and I seriously doubt now if litecoin is going to double in price before end of this month. It is now very clear that bitcoin is now the most important coins in cryptocurrency and investors has no any alternative to it and that is why coins like litecoin are finding it very difficult to gain on there own.

89  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3B Ponzi Scheme is Dumping BTC by the Hundreds on: August 15, 2019, 05:54:37 PM
Did anyone hear about the PlusToken scam? 10 million investors scammed of $3 billion seems like a massive number! Ciphertrace mentioned in their recent report that the PlusTooken scheme was the largest single incidnet of loss in 2019.

The image in this article shows the movement of money from addresses which is pretty crazy. Movements of 50-100 BTC batches appear to move into exchanges.

This is so disappointing imo another scheme and a big one at that

https://cointelegraph.com/news/3b-ponzi-scheme-is-now-allegedly-dumping-bitcoin-by-the-hundreds
It is for Ponzi scheme to gather this type of huge amount of money because bitcoin is anonymous and that is why people are saying "governments' regulating crypto currency and bitcoin will be the best thing to do"! Just imagine such huge amount of money is being move into the hands of fraudsters and terrorist! The havoc it will cause will be unbearable. $3billion is not small money and very soon these Ponzi runners are going to move the Bitcoin to mixers and from there dump it into the markets which will still affect Bitcoin pricing.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: SEC delays decision on ETF again on: August 15, 2019, 05:15:27 PM
there seems to be something else in play here which makes SEC reject them. they need to find and fix that issue first.

I think we all know that the SEC can not independently make such a decision, they are waiting approval from some higher instance, and we all see what is the attitude of the most powerful people in the American political scene toward cryptocurrency. Some say Libra is good thing for BTC, but it shows just the opposite, they put all coins in one basket and they will deal with them in the same way.

I doubt that any fix can be made from companies that submit requests, they cannot eliminate volatility or force crypto exchanges to operate even more transparently, so it all comes down to politics in the end.
I agree with you and the comments made by the most powerful humans being on earth last time(Trump) is a really warning to any governments agencies that may desired of having something to do with bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general. SEC alone cannot take unilateral decision in approvals of ETF but the body most seek approval from other agencies and political authorities before doing that.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Bull Break Above $11k And Falling Wedge on: August 15, 2019, 07:39:16 AM
Capped, confined and collapsed.   Couldnt beat the 8 day average which seems to be a good place to turn negative when it acts like this.   Then it failed the Fib line and fallen down a rung to the next level.

So should the target be 10,400 for an area for it reform any attempt upwards.

Good call earlier. I'm always amazed at how hard Bitcoin dumps just when everyone is so bullish. Already testing $10,000 now!

With such strong rejection at the 0.618 and overhead downtrend line, it still seems possible to see prices below $9K. Where do you see us going in the next few weeks?
I guess the market was just following the principle which I think is just a made believe, I mean the principle of being bearish when everyone is bullish, and being bullish when everyone is bearish, it sometimes worked though and it played out recently for me too, immediately I saw that everyone was going bullish, I sold some of my coin also expecting that form of correction which I was happy to buy again at cheaper rate.

If the market still goes below $9k, it is fine, we will just have to still use the little that we have left to buy at that opportunity given, so that when there is a rebound of price, there would be enough profit to climb on our investment which I believe that will make the investor happy for making the decision, and I advise that many people should also buy at the price now.
It might not go below $9000 this time around because a lot of buying other has been placed around $9100 the last bottom. The 100ma which also serve as support and resistance has move over $9000 and it will be a very strong fight for Bitcoin to break lower. From the look of thinks the volume is the problem here. If it keeps getting lower any time bitcoin get close to $12,000,, the probability that it is going to retrace back is there. I believe that we need institutionalized investment that will push the volume up.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: investing does not have to wait long on: August 15, 2019, 07:13:07 AM
what are your goals by investing? yes, I think everyone wants to benefit from investment and trade. given the market situation is not yet fully stable, I'm sure you can still benefit from them.
I mean investing does not have to wait long, you can sell it at any time, when you see your coins above the initial capital price.

if you don't do that, you will starve!
How do we calculate the initial capital price, is it going to be in Bitcoin or in USD? Many traders actually lose money because they hold a particular coin too long and when it is time to sell they are waiting for more gains. Bitcoin has fallen below $10,000 this morning and it is a clear sign to buy for those that willing to get it cheap again. Though it needs to go over $12,000 for it to resume the upward movement that started around $3,200.
93  Economy / Economics / Re: thoughts on companies becoming too powerful? on: August 14, 2019, 08:34:24 PM
I think that's decision to ban libra is totally right. If every big company will have own currency it will be hard to regulate
Regulation is not part of the plan in cryptocurrency development just that governments are looking for a way to regulate it and it is not in the interest of cryptocurrency but the governments will always find a way to tax it. Bitcoin is decentralized and without governments involvement, it has worked fine and it can stand as money because it is not owned by any person or country and it gives the power of ownership to the society. Libra as centralized coins could have not been as good as Bitcoin.
94  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Tricks For Newbies on: August 14, 2019, 06:50:51 PM
tips and tricks works good when reading but in real conditions it wont work out , i am sure newbies will experience all opposite
Although you are right but here are some facts about my early days to trade. It all started from forex trade and when I was to get started, I was asked to read some books which are the best books for beginners and after I read them with determination I get into a trade with ease and now be proud of be or called a trader. Learning the chemistry of trade at first is the best for Newbies.
Trading is not for everyone and they are some people no matter how they learned the trade it will still be ending in loses. Trading is good if you are making profits and it is bad if you are making loses but it is not ought to be so! We are facing many problems today in trading because of greed and impatience. The most knowledgeable and skillful traders can still lose if they lack patience. Newbies can make profits if he can buy low and be patient enough until price gained.
95  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Psychological Analysis for trading Crypto on: August 14, 2019, 07:38:06 AM
Technical analysis, Fundamental analysis and Sentiment analysis are some types of analysis which works well in Forex and Stock market.
But none of these works well and in sync with the crypto market. Is there even a single type of analysis which can give if not accurate then at least a near target price ?
Most of the times the market plays against us which indulges us in bearing losses.

Do you guys think Psychological analysis can help us in making better decisions and setting better targets?
Predicting the price as per the news and events in the market and how people react to it could may give us better profits.

The fundamental, technical and sentimental analysis worked well and it is human's emotions and feeling that has a problem. I have been using some combination of moving average cross with volume indicators to trade USD/BTC and it works accurately and the reasons why I lose is not about the indicators but my greed and fears. Sometimes out of greed I jumped into the market too early or go in too late but if you follow all the indicators especially the technical indicators such as candlestick, moving average, Fibonacci retracement, pivot point, macd and Relatively strength index you will find out that you will make good profits.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What your family thinks about that you into crypto on: August 14, 2019, 06:03:46 AM
Hello everyone, good morning, yesterday I had a conversation with my family about crypto(BTC if we being specific).

Im HODL for a long time now, and really believe that in the end crypto actually do fly to do moon( More about Moon:)

my family thinks its a bullshit, and think that im wasting my time and money. I try to explain it countless of times and it seems that is simply imposable for to them to understand

So, im just curious what your family/friends think about it?
You should try and convincing them the more because I face the same situations with my family sometimes back in 2017. My elder brother said “it is a Ponzi scheme” and my mother agreed with him. But they were surprised that after the boom of December 2017 I was able to sell part of my holding and I was able to bought a land in our state capital! That is when all of them started liking bitcoin and investing in it.
97  Economy / Gambling / Re: Warnings! A new wave of attacks on renowned casinos. on: August 13, 2019, 07:23:15 PM
Just make certain you check the URL before opening an account and depositing.
A good advice especially now that hackers have shifted their hacking activities to gambling and casino sites. Checking and rechecking of URL before longing is very important as I have had many stories of hackers taking advantage of just little character to steal people's  password and username! If you must login into your account at primetime or betvest you should click from the links at the campaign threads as this will to some extent save you from " story that touched the heart.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning bitcoin is hard but i still keep fighting on: August 13, 2019, 05:39:43 PM
I don't like mining because it is time-consuming and you will need a lot of energy to be able to get what you can easily get from trading or signatures campaign. I have been in trading bitcoin since 2017 and I can say I do trade fully because I trade on mobile! It is not easy but I do make more profits than losses. The signature campaign is the safest way one can make Bitcoin also and I will say I make most of my bitcoin through the signature campaign.
99  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Technical Analysis Bullshit or Not? on: August 13, 2019, 03:40:01 PM
people who dont understand technical analysis say its bullshit

people who dont understand investing and trading say investing and trading is a bullshit

here is the reality none of the trading system is 100% accurate

people who understand and practice the analysis will make money , i my self making profits using technical analysis

just ask yourself how much you have learnt and practised technical analysis , dont believe in this post you will get 100s of posts saying technical analysis will work and will not work , and knowing other things on whats going on with market is also important
I have been a trader too and have a lot of experience as I can joined both volume and momentum indicators with support and resistance’s level indicators such as Fibonacci level and pivots point in connection with candlesticks formation in making trading decisions and most time my predictions and analysis do come true. The only difference between successful traders and unsuccessful traders is not capital but knowledge of technical indicators and patience!
100  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to make Hard move up or Break down Hard on: August 13, 2019, 01:29:15 PM
you are being too excited about this market and are too caught up in the lines you keep drawing on the charts which are most of the times very wrong.
of course in bitcoin it is possible to see big drops out of nowhere due to panics and manipulation but that doesn't mean they have to happen every time we reach a stable phase. you can check all the history, you see lots of these stable phases like this and only 1% of them have sudden big drops, the remaining 99% end up with the big rise after the accumulation was done.
Bitcoin's movement some time is highly unpredictable and that is because the market is still very micro! Few people can still manipulate it as they wish. Some of us has been in this market for more than 6 to 7 years now and we have seen how easy it reverse when almost all the technical indicators are pointing continuation of the trend. Now that we are having many analysis of bitcoin going down and the selling pressure is reducing I think the whales will soon take this opportunity within the next 24 hour to push the price upward.
