81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are small BTC transactions essentially “Wasted”? on: March 12, 2021, 01:02:49 PM
It is not advisable to transact such a small amount of bitcoin that adds up to just 1 dollar. Keep in mind that for every transaction, let it be swap or sending out coins, there is a fee that you have to shoulder. If im not mistaken, the fee depends on the periods of congestion on the network. Bitcoin batching is one technique that I know of,  which combines several outputs and payments into one transaction. My suggestion is to save up your bitcoins, i guess 100$ worth of bitcoin is enough.
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Polkadot Good For Future? on: March 11, 2021, 06:20:24 AM
DOT is a good investment in 2021. External audits for the “Parachains v1” code and main features for different bridges are already underway. The assets are also projected to increase by mid-2021 by June-July 2020 to almost 20–25%. It is anticipated that the DOT price will rise between 20 dollars and 30,76 dollars by mid-2021 and near $50 by the end of 2021. Polkadot is much better to invest in other than the newly introduced coins, it has already built a solid foundation for a unified network of blockchains. I got this info on the medium website. There you can check the rest of the information on why polkadot is a good investment.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: March 10, 2021, 12:57:52 PM
There are a lot of altcoins that are good to invest in. You just have to do some extensive research to verify each altcoin's potential. ETH and Litecoin are great investment options in 2021. ETH has set a record high of nearly 1,400 dollars in 2021, and while litecoin had a record high of 371 back in 2017, atleast it's not far gone from its current value of 122 dollars.  For now, im sticking with these two since they dont usually flactuate to the point of almost no value. It's just a personal preference but you can try other altcoins if you want.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum to 100k? on: March 10, 2021, 12:04:06 AM
This topic has been going around for years. While ETH is still the 2nd best crypto in the market, i dont believe that it will reach 100k anytime soon. Bitcoin hasnt even reached that kind of value, the highest that it has ever been is nearly at 50k. It really is hard to predict the value of cryptocurrencies since it is always flactuating, but who knows, maybe ETH will reach that value in the next 3 to 6 years?
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Blockmembers.io - THE FUTURE OF HOME BUILDING IS HERE on: March 09, 2021, 07:00:14 AM
I do see that blockmembers has a lot of potential. I've took the time to visit their website and I saw that this project is built on supporting housing availability, shelter and etc. If this project succeeds their token will be the first to represent the new industry of auto-construction and I do hope that blockmembers reaches that remarkable feat.

I tried to register to GNEISS since this is the required wallet for the bounty that I want to participate in, but I cant even get past register. Is the website buggy? or did I do something wrong?
89  Economy / Economics / Re: LESSONS FROM CRYPTO MARKET on: July 21, 2019, 12:05:30 PM
What i have learned from trading is that we should have patience. Truth be told all of us wants to reach the peak of a coin's value, that is why we hold onto it until it reaches a certain point where the price exceeds our expectations. We should get rid of fear out of the equation as it would just urge us to sell coins at a relatively low price. Greed however, is just fine. Just like what i have said, us traders are not satisfied with the current value of our coins. Though OP is right, we should set a certain point where we could sell our coins.
90  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Scams are a global issue on: July 21, 2019, 08:57:53 AM
To stop crypto scams and frauds alike, i guess we really need someone to keep in check of all that is going on in the crypto platform. I would hate to see if the world of cryptocurrency starts to adhere illegitimate projects that would exceed in numbers. Anonymity has always been the issue, which urge perpetrators to push their malicious intent onto the public, tricking them into investing which leads people into buying and losing their assets.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges to be careful about IEO listing. on: July 21, 2019, 06:11:22 AM
The exchange should be careful in administrating projects, now that the majority of the population has put a lot of trust in IEOs rather than ICOs. IEOs can eliminate scam and dubious projects from raising funds via cryptocurrency exchange platforms, and it becomes much harder to scam contributors with IEOs. However, if by any chance the exchange has administered a project that turned out to be a scam, not only would it affect the investors, but it would put the exchange's reputation at risk. Normally people would lose their trust, spread the news of the unfortunate event and would drive people away from using the so called exchange through word of mouth.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't get your hopes too high on: July 21, 2019, 05:18:29 AM
There is no guarantee that projects will meet the end of the bargain when it comes to the effort invested by the bounty hunters in promoting their project, all we can do is wait for the outcome and do the given task with the best of our abilities. I agree that we shouldnt expect too much as it may just dissapoint us with the end results. I have experienced this in the past, and it's draining since i gave my best and have complied with all of the rules given by the campaign just to find out that the project has failed.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: July 21, 2019, 02:48:37 AM
There are a lot of coins out there that are worth investing. You should consider Ethereum, which ranks 2nd among all the exchanges next to bitcoin. I have been investing in ethereum ever since i got involved in cryptocurrencies, and i must say that it has a lot of potential. The reason why ethereum is worth investing is because of its growing popularity. Ethereum has been publicly traded since 2016 and has established itself as one of the largest digital assets. Due to the growing popularity, a number of wallets and exchanges ensure to support ethereum which makes it a lot easier to access this type of cryptocurrency.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO IDENTIFY GOOD AND SOLID BOUNTIES on: July 20, 2019, 12:28:28 PM
I think you should include how the project is beneficial to its investors and users. Im pertaining to how "unique" and "effective" the project is compared to the thousands of projects introduced to the public. If you think that the project has potential, and has laid out a detailed map of the planning and execution then i guess you could proceed to doing your own research by looking at ICOratings and such. It is also important that you know the team behind the project, if they are verified or not.

It is hard to identify solid bounties, to increase tye chances of participating in one, you should do your own research and identify if it is worthy of your time or not.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC defeated in 2019? on: July 20, 2019, 12:19:12 PM
I dont think bitcoin would be defeated anytime soon, but it is possible that a certain coin can topple down the reigning cryptocurrency in the next few years. Honestly, way back in 2017 i thought that ETH is capable of overthrowing bitcoin but I guess that it would take a long time for that to happen since ETH is currently at its lowest. Investors continue to lean on bitcoin because of its huge potential in the market, and this is supported by the fact of how it increased up to 60%, reaching 14k while the altcoins remained at the bottom.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 20, 2019, 08:31:02 AM
Complaining wouldnt get things done, the best course of action is to wait until the altcoin season starts. The question is, when would it take place? This is the reason why hodlers have become impatient. Lately the price of each altcoin has increased, but as it progresses further into its peak, it has started to drop in value just like what happened to bitcoin. I have noticed that whenever bitcoin increases in value, altcoins would normally follow the hike i guess all we can do is wait, for now. Maybe altcoin season wouldnt start, maybe it would take place on the following year.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Imagine that you're new to crypto now on: July 20, 2019, 07:36:33 AM
Upon hearing what crypto is, i would delve deeper and try to do some research before tackling and investing some of my money on bitcoin or on altcoins. By reading the basics i would further understand what is its pros and cons. If i have arrived to the conclusion that bitcoin would benefit me then i would definitely try to invest on bitcoins. I would wait for the price to decrease before buying one, and then like most of the members here in this forum, I would hold onto it until the day comes when it exceeds its previous peak.
98  Economy / Economics / Re: If the government supports bitcoin instead of the existing currency. on: July 20, 2019, 04:34:46 AM
I dont think the government would ever consider bitcoin as their national currency. There are a number of reasons as to why governments "fear" bitcoin. First of all, bitcoin is decentralized, a peer to peer network between users that does not need central authority. The lack of central authority is one of the many reasons why the government is against bitcoin, of course this does not apply to all because of how other countries are completely adapting to cryptocurrency. Fiat money however, grants the government control over their currency. They use central banks to issue or destroy money out of thin air, using what is known as monetary policy to exert economic influence. They also dictate how fiat currencies can be transferred, enabling them to track currency movement, dictate who profits from that movement, collect taxes on it, and trace criminal activity.
99  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can be useful for a troubled economy on: July 14, 2019, 12:03:43 PM
I think it is possiblefor bitcoin to be used as an alternative to fiat money. Since that kind of currwncy stretches across the globe. But i dont think government officials would make it that easy to fully adopt bitcoin as their secondary source of income. It is risky and somewhat more on the unstable side as it always flactuates in price. I have read an article, containing the information that Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro announced last month that the country would create its own token to help its economy. Yet officials in the country, including the opposition-led national legislature, have strongly pushed back against the idea.
100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Came Back After a Year on: July 14, 2019, 11:54:17 AM
I think you're now familiar with IEO, used by projects that are administered by an exchange. This is done so that they can reassure the public that the introduced project is safe, legitimate, and reliable. Other than that, i think the reason why people are leaning against altcoin is because of how fast bounty hunters and investors receive the promised amount of coins. Plus, there are rumours that the altcoin season is coming in close that's why people keep on holding and discussing about its price. Bitcoin has also significantly dropped in price together with ethereum. I think for bitcoin, it decreased as low as 4k and as for ethereum 180. But it is slowly regaining.
