Just look at Cryptocompare trading volumes for Bcash. On Bitfinex only BCH volume 24H is more than $18 million. It's roughly thousands dollar trading fees per hour. I don't think it's a revenue that exchange business would shrug off as negligible.

I've been reading a lot discussion threads about the ongoing changes on bitcoin. Many mentioned bip91, bip141, bip148 and etc... BIP is short from Bitcoin Improvement Procedure, do I get this right? and where can I read all the specs/details on each BIP I've been trying to find a thread explaining them, but seems elusive to find for me

OP thank you for your time. This post should be on top of the board today. Any fud now is in favour of mess up.

BitcoinCash could be seen as a showcase of how big block works. This alt is channeling best efforts for big block fans. It's not just testing community support, it would be a perfect excuse to evade argueably coming 2MB HF due to any BCC failure. Let that sink. What makes things worse for bitcoin price for week or so is thin market. There is a wave of withdrowal bitcoin from exchanges. Anyway bitcoin will surge after all.

Don't panic and just have some patience we will only know it on first august but you have to keep in mind that segwit2x is just a soft fork and not a hardfork so it will not split the network itself. Only few miner may continue mining new bitcoin clone using old bitcoin blockchain after segwit activation.
How is that? Having BIP 91 locked-in, 2MB hard fork for Segwit2x is expected to happen around November 18.

MCO experiences postICO first wave of selling. Uncertainty over bitcoin as well as ETH issues multiplies the effect. "Wait for better price" would be appropriate strategy to the alt for next month.

Old school investors get used to old approaches. Interest rate is up, stock down, going into treasurys or any safe haven but bitcoin. As it posted above top finacial groups still keep away from BTC. As far as I am concerned it's for bitcoin benefit. If that liquidity has been pouring into cryptomarket, current volatility would seem like a noise.

Following Japan, South Korean parliament demonstrats divergency with US legislative power policies in relation to crypto. It's getting not so easy to declare bitcoin out of law worlwide.

Yeah, it's not the best time for slow gains and stability. There is growing number of traders withdrawing bitcoin from exchanges to own wallets in a view of Aug 1st. Thin market is more susceptible to volatility and price manipulation to some extent.

There has been much more Bitcoin scams lurring people, so why just attacking Ethereum ?
It wasn't the first time, it won't be the last one. A successful idea attracts scammakers to do their own dirty scemes under the bright name.

Actually I can't wait for it. I expect news that clear common uncertainty before 1st August.

Insurance for retailers accepting bitcoin is smart idea. I'd like to see how it will work. Japan is pioneering innovation again.

I would add one more economic reason to consider. After a surge of demand in Asia, it's a wave of rush in mining Ethereum. Growing supply may overtake demand.

Any well-managed project in crypto should have a communication officer in team and official accounts in social media at least. It's the officer's responsibility to disprove fake news immediately.

I think this correction for ETH isn't over yet. Unless there would be excellent news, many investors are cautious to buy above $300 level. It takes more time to restore confidence or hype sentiment.

"situation is blurry..." but it's gonna talk about only the worst scenario. It's biased somehow.

I don't get that fad for a trading bot. If one would think that a thing working for one's benefit it's a cool idea, think again that this thing's just spending one's own money instead. Is it still cool? Sorry, searching personal AI for free, it makes my day.
