81  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga ragnarok classic gamer maganda ito on: November 25, 2023, 01:35:00 PM

82  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: November 25, 2023, 01:17:40 PM
May nakita nga pala akong balita kay Sky Mavis at Grab.
Ito yung balita ~> Axie Infinity Official Merchandise Ties Up With Grab Rewards In Southeast Asia

84  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Binance CEO CZ bumaba sa pwesto, at nagkipagsettle on: November 24, 2023, 02:13:36 PM

85  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Earnings on: November 24, 2023, 01:55:18 PM
I am a newbie in bitcoin I want to learn a lot about bitcoin I want to do marketing and trading with bitcoin if any of you are expert or if someone is more skilled please give me some suggestion so that I can do something good and my future is good.
If you are asking users here to teach you how to trade, then you shouldn't trade and trading may not be for you right now. Like you said; you're a newbie in BTC, and trading isn't for newbies, it is very complicated and you can lose all your money very fast. Now what do you mean by "i want to do marketing with BTC", i don't know what that means but what you need now is to learn about BTC as a cesnsorship resistant and permissonless currency, and not as an investment, at least for now.

You are right on advising him not to trade since his still a newbie as everything will look so strange in his eyes and he might run into a lot of losses because of the fact that he's inexperienced, I think sometimes too as a newbie the best thing to do is to buy and hodl bitcoins and after which one can now try to learn and understand basic trading ethics to follow in other not to run into numerous losses. Though I know that someone that introduced him to this forum must have given him a hint of how trading bitcoin work but didn't enlighten him on the dangers of trading when he has little or no knowledge about some trading strategies that are often applied for safe trading

It is true that trading is not suitable for beginners because it has too much risk. But if he is really interested in trading, he can get acquainted and start with a demo account. That will help him gain basic experience of what trading is like. Because each person will have different goals and preferences, although holding is suitable for everyone but many people do not like to hold for a long time and only like to trade daily. So we shouldn't force them if they don't like it. Even if we are long-time market participants, if we have never traded before, we are still completely new traders. So let them start if they want to become a trader.
Trading is not easy, especially for a beginner who has no experience in trading, because experience is what will make you a good trader because you already know the risks involved and also understand how to trade correctly.
And it is true that before using real money or engaging in real trading, you should try trading with a demo account that many platforms provide. And this allows you to practice without the risk of losing money and can learn and understand the positive and negative sides of trading which can help you become a profitable trader for you.
As I said, even if you're a long-time holder but have never traded before, you're still new and don't have any experience when it comes to trading. To gain experience, you need to try trading, and that's why I usually don't prevent newbies if they want to start trading. You need experience to accumulate experience, no one can accumulate knowledge and experience without participating.

I recommend everyone to start with a demo account to get familiar with the trading environment. But I also advise people not to overdo it because demo account trading and real trading are very different. Many people who trade with a demo account always win, but when they start with a real account, they fail miserably.

I agree and disagree.
I agree with a way of gaining experience by trading. Preventing newbies if they want to start trading will only result to decline their confidence. But prior to do trading, you should learn basic knowledge about trading.

I disagree with the demo account. You won't always win with a demo account, that's why it's a demo, you can try and experiment different methods and finding the best strategy for you. At first, you may fail on actual trading because they might felt differently, but the more you get exposed to trading, you will get in line.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 9 Years Before He finally claim his lotto rewards on: November 21, 2023, 02:05:14 PM
[....]
However, what irks me about this story is that it took them a delay of 9 years to reach a decision on such a simple case. Considering it's a government agency involved, you'd think they could have expedited the investigation.
The time is reasonable if we look at the process.
- The Regional Trial Court ruled in favor of the bettor but the PCSO appealed and brought it to the Court of Appeals.
- The Court of Appeals upheld the decision of the RTC but the PCSO still not convinced so they went to the highest court.
- The Supreme Court upheld the decision of the two lower courts.

The PCSO have all the resources so they exercised all their legal options and that's why it took a total of 9 years to come to a decision with finality. That means there will be no more appeals.

I totally get the legal process, but if we had a similar case like this in our countries, I doubt it would take even close to 5 years before the final decision is released. I understand that the Supreme Court is the highest court in the Philippines, and its decisions are final and can't be appealed. However, waiting for 9 years, in my opinion, is still way too long.

That's how the system works if you don't have that money and right people to help you, it will b quicker if you knew someone who have higher authority or if that person use socia media to create attentions, the process might be speed up since the court don't want any negative criticizm and for sure there are many so called righteous people who will ride with this case to help speeding up the process.

But since the winner patiently waits and continues to follow that so called legal process, it took him 9 years before he could finally enjoy the money that he deserves.

It appears that the PCSO is unwilling to assist the winner, despite him having all the necessary evidence to prove his win. While I understand that it's a substantial amount of money, the PCSO generates significant daily revenue from the lottery. It would be more than fair to award the rightful winner, not only as a matter of justice but also to inspire bettors who consistently place bets in the hopes of winning the jackpot prize one day.
I don't think that it's not about the PCSO being unwilling to assist the winner. They have to proceed to the legal process which is where the process takes longer up to 9 years. There's a problem with the ticket, and it's hard to identify if his holding ticket is the winning ticket for the grand prize. It's a huge sum of money and they can't just easily give it to the one claiming to be the jackpot winner. If only the daughter of the winner hadn't ironed the ticket with a piece of cloth covering it, there would be no long waiting like this.
87  Economy / Economics / Re: What would you do in this situation? Invest or save? on: November 21, 2023, 01:29:49 PM
If I just choose number 2. Just leave our investment there and take him back when the time comes as you said. At least this is wiser in investing and we can relax and enjoy life and the available funds are sufficient to recharge our bodies which feel tired due to full activity.
Are we going to dedicate our time to making money for the rest of our lives?
If you are afraid to take risks of investing that money, keeping $15,000 will be a wise decision. But if you just keep it, it means you don't invest that money. If you want to invest that money, you must choose the option of number 1. Both have the advantage and disadvantage, it depends on us to choose which option that is suitable with our condition. IMO, if we have no proper capability in investment sector, it will be too risky to invest $15,000. But if we know well how to invest in a certain thing and we are pretty sure to gain profits, investing $15,000 should be an interesting way.

However choosing option 1 is not easy and might result in an unexpected result. Investing in smaller businesses, or other people's businesses means that you're not the one holding your money to run the business. This option also shows OP making a rush decision where he can make a quick profit. The best option is to invest money in Bitcoin or if he does not consider investing in crypto, he can save more money until he makes enough money for his planned business.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good advice? on: November 20, 2023, 12:39:03 PM
Is this true?

This advice is actually making gamblers believe that they can win when they spend a lot of more time in the casino, they strongly believe that not stopping or taking break will bring them closer to their jackpot.
It depends on the situation. If you are the type of gambler who knows the importance of bankroll management, most likely, this is applicable. If you are the type of gambler who bet an amount based on your emotion, the money you have will only be lost the longer you stay on betting.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 20, 2023, 11:59:26 AM
Hi guys I was wondering that Bitcoin crossed 37000 dollars is there any chances that Bitcoin bear market over and we might see good greeny day.
What are your thoughts 🤔💭
No one could ever really tell if the bear market was over. But, we should always expect a sudden dump in the price of Bitcoin. As we all know, the halving will occur next year, and it will take an additional year to take effect. It means that there are so many things that could happen. We should also expect FUD and manipulation of the price until we reach the next halving.
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler's family action. on: November 19, 2023, 04:26:24 PM
Money can be intoxicating sometimes and only a few percentage of persons in the world actually know how to control the pressure and influence that comes with money control. I have had so many friends who were successful in hitting some significant profits in gambling but all end up squandering the fund in different things just because they have this perception that it's actually free money and should be spent anyhow.
It is very difficult to be able to control the money we have no matter how much we have if we can't use it properly of course the money will easily run out and we don't even know where the money is used, when someone wins a bet in the gambling we play of course they have to be able to controlling themselves, it would be better to take the winnings they have got and enjoy them, rather than looking for bigger wins and spending all the winnings they have got.
Those who can get a lot of money from gambling should be able to use it for their benefit and life. It was like a once in a lifetime opportunity to improve his life for the better. But unfortunately, most people prefer to waste their expenses by using a lot of their winnings. They don't try to take half of the winnings for their future but use all the money to follow a lifestyle and buy things they don't really need. If they have a close family, the immediate family will definitely warn the person to save his money for his future. Hopefully, if we get a big win, we can use it for our lives so that our lives can change for the better.
In our country, there's a belief that if the money you make is not hard-earned money, specifically in gambling, it won't last long. It is true that winning in gambling is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity but if you didn't work hard to earn it, it will be easy to spend it without having a second thought. This may be the case for him that's why he lives a lifestyle of buying everything he wants even those unneeded things.
91  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What according to you should be the age to retire from gambling ? on: November 19, 2023, 03:48:02 PM
Elder or not, as long as your wishes are appropriate, then expect that it will be obeyed. It also depends on the attitude of the people around us, as there are some spoil people who still gets what they want even though their wishes are seem not appropriate anymore.

I don't think I can do that, as I know to myself that I'm a good person. I hope many others too. Gambling is not bad, and as you said first, there might still be elders who can play gambling appropriately. So why will they stop? Maybe they can also earn more profit out of it and they can gave some of these money to the people around them and those people are going to feel happy.
Usually, when people get older, they become more spoiled and want all their wishes to be obeyed by the people around them. If their wishes are not complied with, they will be angry and annoyed and may leave for several hours until the people around them are confused and looking for them.

Gambling is not bad. But the problem and concern is that many people lose control when they gamble. It has happened to many people, and even if an elderly person loses control, they can spend all their money and even their savings. If that happens, what can he regret when all his money has been used for gambling? Maybe what elderly people need to do is try to reduce their gambling activities because they are no longer young and are no longer able to do what they used to when they were young. They should be able to realize that they have changed a lot and it is time to leave gambling.
Are we really gonna consider the elderly person to lose control? Elder people have more experience and we can expect them to know more about gambling and emotions than we know. If elderly people would gamble, they would surely treat it as a fun activity. Unlike a young gambler who has a goal to earn more, older people would probably stop thinking about aiming for that.
93  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Mga ragnarok classic gamer maganda ito on: November 18, 2023, 02:56:13 PM
94  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An easy approach to Bitcoin on: November 18, 2023, 02:01:32 PM
Most people especially kids have heard about Bitcoin or crypto currency without really knowing what it is about or how it works.recently I came across a particular video which I found online.it was an animated video giving a very brief and basic knowledge about the concept of Bitcoin. It talked about why Bitcoin was created, how Blockchain works ,as well as mining.I saw it as a good approach to teaching young ones or even newbies about Bitcoin.Without saying much here is a link to the video.
This is the right education because children are used to watching videos for any introduction compared to reading comics or other materials provided. Of course the video won't have a big impact on them, but at least they can recognize the logo as a basis for them to remember about Bitcoin and animated videos are usually preferred by children. But when it comes to young people who are adults, I think animated videos like that will not be interesting because they no longer watch videos like that when they are older.

Whatever people try to introduce themselves to, this will never become a reference if they are not used to learning more, it could be that when they grow up this kind of education will become a video that they will miss when they see it. So in conclusion it depends on how someone wants to start approaching Bitcoin and if it can be directed in a good way it will definitely make them much more interested.
Kids nowadays are curious especially if they see it on social media. Maybe we think that the video will not be watched as they don't look interested in this kind of video has no big impact on them but due to curiosity, maybe once they see it their path knowing Bitcoin will start.
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the minimum amount of bitcoin or satoshi should hold for poor? on: November 17, 2023, 02:13:22 PM
There's no minimum amount. As long as it's reserved money that can be used for investment, you are free to do so. The term you have to hold Bitcoin is all up to you. If you need it you can withdraw it, but if you don't need it and you are aiming to have a decent amount of profit, hold it until the right time comes. Long-term or short-term, both profitable if you are able to sell when the price increases from the time of purchase.
96  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start with the little you have, you don't need millions of dollars to own BTC. on: November 17, 2023, 01:57:26 PM

The bottom line is that it is better to start buying now with the little money you have than waiting and the time passes by.
Bitcoin is still fucking cheap right now to compare the price it would be in the future.

Hope this can encourage someone who may find him or herself in such a situation.

Maybe 10 years from now and if Bitcoin still exists the price is probably over $100k. And that time, it was just like what we were buying today while the price of Bitcoin was very cheap 10 years ago. Investing is not a contest but we are actually running out of time before the price surges high again. I don't say it was a good time for buying these days but at least, we don't miss the opportunity while the price of Bitcoin is just $38k before it reaches another ATH.

Having $1000 worth of Bitcoin now can be multifold in the future which means that there is no regret in doing this, yes we only need courage and faith.
That's right, the best thing to do is to accumulate while still early or do the DCA method. We have no idea of what will happen in the future or what will be its value a few years after but one thing for sure, Bitcoin's value will not be the same as its current price today. Even with the smallest possible amount we can for investment is fine as we continue to make progress, the value of that investment will be multiplied once Bitcoin reaches a new ATH.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 17, 2023, 01:37:16 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
Example: Cz. Craig wright & Michel Sailor etc.

Looking forward to the well thought out opinion of the experienced in this regard.

It's normal for a person not to be interested after they learned from it because it's not in their taste. But the way he respond has nothing difference with the most people who refused Bitcoin. We have nothing to do with them but to make them realize that Bitcoin is not the same as they think. Most of my friends are interested in Bitcoin but the only problem is that they don't have enough money to invest. I see their interest and I look forward for it. If ever they have an extra money I'm sure they will going to invest Bitcoin. Their mindset is somehow different from people who really stable in life.
Let them miss out on the technology they think negatively. That's the correct mindset, instead of wasting your time, just show them the result of your investment. The day will come when they will regret their choice of not paying attention to this technology.

Second - Each of us must be responsible for our money meaning invest with your own knowledge

I believe that if they were being scammed  then it is their mistake and faith I believe.
- indeed, it's our own money and even with advice from other people when it comes to investment, it's our responsibility to decide whether we will invest or not. Whatever the outcome is, it's on yourself. Never ever blame other people if you know to yourself that you made the final decision.

99  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bullrun Strategy Discussion on: November 16, 2023, 11:51:13 AM

practicality mag invest din sa altcoins but those sa better  coins like top 10 siguro .

100  Economy / Economics / Re: Being rich = not looking at price tag on: November 16, 2023, 11:32:52 AM
I often read people saying they want to earn enough money so they don't have to look at price tag of product. Imo, even if you are rich you wouldn't want to spend money on things that are not worthy of price being paid.

You wanna look at product and then it's price, if it's worthy of price, you purchase the product.

It depends, I guess.

Lot of rich people don't bother about the pricetag because they can afford it even though they just want it. They don't care about a certain thing, if they want it, they'll buy it, simple as that. They have that kind of mindset since they have plenty of money to the point where they don't know where to spend it anymore. Pricetags at supermarket or in any luxury shop is just a normal thing to them, they don't even bother looking at it.

But there are few rich people who don't really like to spend their money on random things, they like investments and businesses, so they can have more money to spend on things they wanted to have in the future.
I agree, it really depends on the person on how they spend their money. But some of them are the same as the second you mentioned. Rich people spend wisely, they only use their money for the things that can bring them money, and also for their daily needs.
