81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 20, 2019, 02:28:44 AM
I'd be anxious having to play in that. All the noise and the possibility of theft.
You bring an important point, when a casino is mostly empty the risk of being subject to theft is very low since people have a tendency to keep a very large distance between each other, but when the casino is crowded this is not an option, you are going to have people very close to you and when that happens then you need to take care of your chips because if you get distracted you could easily lose some of them without realizing it.
That is, indeed, a good point. And this reminded me of Ocean's Eleven. They stole from the Bellagio without the crowd noticing it.

My point is, a crowded place like a casino, may be seen as an opportunity to steal from another person, or worse, the casino itself. So to avoid such, I prefer just to stay at home, gamble online, or just simply watch the television rather than to fit myself in a crowded and noisy place where I don't think if I can focus at all with my game. Better safe than sorry, right?
82  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't run for merits! on: October 20, 2019, 02:08:30 AM
I never wanted to run behind merits because for me its like I am changing my attitude and posting behaviour to get something in return.Just be yourself and learn more about cryptos, why we wanted it and of course how to make money using cryptos.Help fellow forum members in the way you can,if you got recognized then merits will follow you up.
You nailed it dude! However, the sad reality weighs greater. Instead of treating this forum as a source of knowledge, they shifted and turn it into source of money thus merits for them are so important. That's why you may notice that, oh that's very obvious actually, some of members here get banned due to spamming, burstposting and sh*tposting and the main root of these are signature campaigns. They get blinded by the rewards which tend them to push their limits even if it's all wrong.

The greed lies within yourself not from the temptations outside. I am a cryptotalk participant and yet I'm not getting banned unlike most of the participants. Why? Simply because I have self discipline enough to follow the do's and don'ts at all times.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: October 20, 2019, 01:25:29 AM
There's  a lot of things that comes to my mind when I'm winning in gambling.
1. I would like buy a cellphone that has a good memory so that i can download many more games.
2. I would like to go in a expensive hotel and restaurant for me to eat and stay for over night.
Nice one, mate. Grin looks like you're really making use of the money you won through gambling by utilizing it for the things that will make you happy. There's nothing wrong with that at all. If I were in your shoes, I'd pretty much do the same 'cause i don't know when will I win in gambling again so I'll surely make the best out of it.

But, just a friendly reminder though, I think it's still better to have some money left in you saved for your needs because we never know what would happen next. As I've said earlier, we don't know when we'll win again so it would be a good idea if we allocated some of our winnings for emergency purposes.
84  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is in mind of those, who against vaccination? on: October 19, 2019, 03:04:18 PM
What country?
Philippines dude.
By the way, did it ever occur to you to look into the Dengvaxia issue and analyze how and why it came about.
What do you mean? Are you asking me if I got dengue before or am I a victim of this Dengvaxia issue? If the first one then YES, I also got a dengue fever twice; first is when I was in highschool and the second is when I was on 1st year college. But if you mean the latter one then my answer is NO, i'm not a victim but I can relate to them because I know the struggle of having a dengue I just can't believe how it come that so far up to extent of fatalities.

Anyway, what I'm only pointing here is that parents must continue giving their child vaccines for prevent other diseases. They have no choice but to remove the stigma in their minds brought by the Dengvaxia incident. I know that fear and doubts are eating them but they should conquer it because becoming an anti-vaxx parent is a bad idea.
85  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Can Christian men marry more than one wife? on: October 19, 2019, 12:42:11 PM
Christian men can marry more than one wife no bible verses is against polygamy
There is no Bible Verse prohibiting polygamy and though the Bible doesn't say anything about it, we should be wise in some sense and learn to make decisions about matters that they haven't mentioned in the Bible. For the sake of Peace in the matrimonial home, I am strongly against marrying more than one wife.
I'm with you on this one. It may not be mentioned in the bible that it is not against polygamy. But I think, it's better to have sensitivity to what our wife would feel. Or what would we feel if we are in such situation. Or what our children would feel. Marriage is a sacred commitment and I think we should respect what we sworn to our wife and God.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think Voodoo works in Gambling Games? on: October 19, 2019, 11:46:39 AM
-snip-

Perhaps, that person is very desperate on how to win in gambling games. They tried to believe in voodoo and try to use that "magic" to help them to win. . . . So perhaps, voodoo is still used by some people who really believe in that thing.
Yes, there may still be people who believes in voodoo while gambling. Apart from being desperate, as you have said, maybe they believe in such because they had the experience. I mean, they used voodoo before and then it worked well with their gambling, they won. That's why they continued that belief. Maybe a big setback is the only thing to change their minds. Or maybe it won't. Who knows, right?
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: October 19, 2019, 11:18:56 AM
-snip-

Gambling is win and lose game and there are no secrets or skills to win always. Playing safe and smartly would certainly help you minimize your losses but can not guarantee you a win always. To ensure return on investment , maybe try investments in traditional markets and not gambling.
That is a good point. Gambling, as we all know, is very uncertain and you are right when you said that even when you have skills, there is still no guarantee that you would win. It would be a better idea if our money would be allocated on investment which we can monitor and we can do something about, somehow.
88  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is in mind of those, who against vaccination? on: October 19, 2019, 08:48:01 AM
Some people have a backround issues about vaccination so we cannot blame the people who are afraid to have it. Like in the case of Phillipines, we have an issue about the vaccine dengvaxia which affected a lot of children and died because of infections. Although our health gobernment are stating that everything was back to normal, Filipino people still have hard time to accept vaccination.
Because of that kind of mindset more and more people suffered. They thought refusing to vaccinations save lives but in reality they're at risk. Since parents refused to get their child vaccinated, polio cases are present once again in our country. Actually we totally eradicated this years ago but here we go again Sad. I know that the Dengvaxia Project was a failure but I hope you continue to vaccinate your kids (anti measles, anti polio, anti chicken pox etc.) because essential oils is definitely not enough to protect them against these diseases.
That sounds new to me, kabayan.

I looked into your post history and I noticed na mahilig ka magpost sa Altcoin Discussion, if you experience deleted posts from that board oftenly then it's normal kasi marami talagang megathreads or not so valuable threads dun na dinedelete ng mod and baka kasama ang posts mo sa mga yun. Pero kung multiple times mo na ito nararanasan then I guess it's fair to conclude na yun ang working hours ni mprep Grin.

Anyway, a piece of advice, wag masyadong umasa sa reward sa bounty campaign na sinasalihan, think of it na wala kang bayad dyan para di ka madisappoint.  At kung mabayaran ka man at mataas ang kinita mo then advance
congratulation.
Unfortunately, you're just a jr. member but don't worry. Good luck sa journey mo Smiley.
91  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bitcointalk User Demographic Poll - What Race Are You? on: October 19, 2019, 04:11:26 AM
I'm also an Asian, a Filipino to be specific.
women should also be listed as a seperate race/species.
I'm going to add women to the list out of curiosity. I don't think there are many here however.
Are you really serious for this? Oh! You really are, it's pretty obvious. But how and why on earth did you add Females in your list? I think it's inappropriate to add it in a list of races but I admitted that it was funny somehow. Watch out dude, somebody out there might find this offensive and get triggered hahaha Grin.
92  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most common mistakes made by beginner crypto traders! on: October 19, 2019, 02:16:22 AM
when i was a newbie trader almost every deal I made I closed with a profit! What was that?! a luck? a super profi trader?
no! it was hot market! almost every coin on the market were pumped! so no prob to be a success trader.
but when market began to fall over 70% of my trades brings me losses!
so be careful to begin your traders career on the low market.
Yes, of course! It would be easy to become a successful trader when the market is very lively because all things seems in your favor. All you need to do is to hit a target price based on how much profit you want to attain and sell. As simple as that, easy money! But the struggle strikes when we are on the bearish market. I know it easy for some of us to say HODL in this kind of situations but there are still traders who lose. Well, I think it's already normal since we can't totally get rid of the scared and panicking ones. But I believe we can used to it as time passes. Like me, I am now more patient and remain calm during the days of crisis unlike before who is also a panic seller sometimes.

93  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is Literally Hitting the Road on: October 18, 2019, 02:47:28 PM
After seeing a couple of crypto-related ads in a single day in Singapore, something suddenly comes to my mind. What if all of these ads are promoting Bitcoin? People would be seeing Bitcoin logos everyday; in MRT, buses, malls, houses, underpasses, waiting stations, taxis, laundry shops, and practically everywhere. Would this help a lot? And those who are not familiar will get curious and would want to know more about it.
Wow kabayan, good to know you're having a trip to abroad Shocked. Seems you got a lot of btc profits recently huh  Cheesy. I hope I can go there in the future. Enjoy!

Anyway, going back to your question, I'm very sure that many Singaporeans will mow start to adopt bitcoin assuming it was on the advertisements you found there. Those are just simple means of advertising, not as costly as TV ads but it's pretty effective I believe. Imagine, the advertisement itself are moving across parts of the country thanks to those transportation vehicles and also on places where high volumes of people pass by as well Smiley.
94  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Resources Para Matuto sa English Language on: October 18, 2019, 02:31:47 AM
You're right! Learning should be continuous, do not isolate yourself on the culture you already had since you was born.
How ironic that we're Filipinos but restricted to learn our own language, nasaan na ang pagiging makabayan natin pag ganun?
95  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Pekeng Bitcointalk forum on: October 17, 2019, 02:29:17 PM
Nice try scammers, nice try Roll Eyes! Sana naman walang nabiktima sa scam attempt nila because if you do 100% careless ka. Aside from the right domain, also make sure na yung pinapasukan niyong sites ay may green padlock sa gilid ng url kasi ibig sabihin nun secured yung pinapasok mo. Keep safe mga kabayan Smiley.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 12:58:16 PM
Chances when investing in both bitcoin and altcoins are 50/50, but traders tend to invest in alts because its price is much cheaper compared to bitcoin. We all know that in bitcoin you can really make a profit in a long run, however, buying altcoins can give you more if you can learn how to study the flow of the market. Traders are using altcoins to make a profit. While in bitcoin, they use it as a long term investment.
Yeah! It's more of a "the riskier you engage with, the greater the rewards". However, the only problem I see here is that many people, even those who got no experience with alts at all, insist to pursue trading so what mostly happens in the end is they lose. That's a sad reality. But props for those who decide to continue despite of losses, hmm probably they think that those miseries will pay off in the future that's they remain trading.
97  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 11:14:03 AM
it is better to buy bitcoin of you want to get in touch with crypto  Roll Eyes
all other coins will just increase potential risks to loose your investment.
such an altcoin rally may not repeat any times soon, and then what? all your investment vanish?
with bitcoin you have a chance ( at least a chance) to gain some profits  Grin
I agree with you but not because I also hate alts but only because I don't have any experience with it yet. I am not saying that you can't make profits at all using alts because I know few friends which became succesful alt traders. So far I can't really understand why there are people who are obsessed investing in tokens but probably i could have ghe same sentiment once I learn daytrading Smiley.
98  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart and Crypto? on: October 17, 2019, 07:55:04 AM
Walmart coin is similar to Libra coin which facebook have.  The Walmart coin will not have much impact on cryptocurrency market since walmart coin can only be used to purchase things on wilmart. One of its primary purpose is to make online shopping more convenient to shoppers and while using walmart coin a loyalty award in form of coins will enter into their wallet.
Indeed, it only sounds like good for crypto world because of its automation and also offers faster transactions but in reality I don't think it will hype btc's price. It's point of application is only limited for walmart coin, actually they could made a wiser decision if they also accepts btc payments. But who knows? Maybe it's just their first step for utilizing even more options like crypto Smiley.
99  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano mawalan o manakawan ng Bitcoins gamit ang CTRL-C CTRL-V on: October 17, 2019, 03:06:36 AM
Bukod sa pag double check ng few first and last digits of your btc address, I might say na maganda ring way yung step 3. I'll try to practice it hanggang sa makasanayan ko though medyo confident pa rin naman ako dahil I only access my wallet using my phone.

100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm a Big Fan of Bitcoin, Libra's Chief David Marcus Says on: October 16, 2019, 11:50:31 PM
Are they already conceding defeat? For me it was because Lobra's co creator told on his statement that he is aware of regulators'/our resistance but didn't add details on how they gonna make a solution for it. I think there is a chance for Libra to really get shut down because of this current happenings or if not then I guess only few will support it and still die as time passes.
