Hi s3c70r,
Thank you very much for all of your kindly suggestions! I'm going to purchase more GTX1060 3Gb, I want to try again building 12x1060 in window 10 ver.1709, all of my attempts before failed and window just recognized only 8GPUs.

Hmm, haven't seen a new NeoScrypt coin in a while.....
Take a look on new coins GoByte and Onex Cash, they're dominating the hashrate on altminer.net. But even an old coin like FTC still give us much profit.

I dont think they're suitable for mining because of price. They're tensor computing which aim to support machine & deep learning, so it looks like they have enough money to enter this big part to be a competitor with Nvidia.

Great progress dev. Proud to be your supporter!

I think most of miners here are mining both or just mining altcoin with GPUs. I mined BTC before but it's hard for me to get ASIC at the beginning batches, so I moved to mine some altcoins using GPUs, it's quite flexible.

So I finally managed to find some good and stable settings for my 1070 GPU. Here are the details:
[Card]:1x PNY GeForce GTX 1070 XLR8 OC GAMING 8GB [TDP]: 70% [Core]: 0 [Memory]: +615 [Fan speed]: 60% [Temp.]: 48-52C [Whole system]: don't know, I guess around 140-150. [Mining performance]: 31.2mh/s on Ethereum [Miner]: Claymore 9.7 (Windows 10 65 bit)
Thanks! I used these settings and now getting 31.1 consistently.. I'm a mining newb. I just got my rig working. Can someone tell me what [TDP] stands for? thanks! What they mentioned here is power limit I think. Actually TDP is varied among GPUs, but it mostly stand for maximum power draw. Btw, my setting and performances: [Card]:MSI GTX 1070 Seahawk Power limit: 75% [Core]: +50 [Memory]:+40 [Fan speed]:Auto [Temp.]: 62 [OS]: Window 10 Fall Creator ver.1709 Ethash algorithm: [Average Hashrate]: ~30.5Mh/s [Miner]: Claymore's dual miner Equihash algorithm: [Average Hashrate]: ~442sol/s [Miner]: EWBF Lyra2re2v2 algorithm: [Average Hashrate]: ~32.5Mh/s [Miner]: Tpruvot Ccminer ver.2.2.2 Neoscrypt algorithm: [Average Hashrate]: ~890kh/s [Miner]: Tpruvot Ccminer ver.2.2.2

We're expecting Nvidia will release it in around next February, but I think as AMD Vegas 56 and 64 were not really competitive with GTX 1070Ti and 1080Ti, so they may delayed, not official announcement but it should be around April-May.

guys what's the command to use selected devices only ? can't find it in first post.
Add this: --dev for example (for GPU 1, 2, 3): --dev 0 1 2

As I know, suprnova is a big and trust pool and I'm mining BTG and LBR there. I saw some of your recent posts, so I think it's better if you post some evidences to claim about that.

If you do know what you are doing, it's safe. If it's not the case, you may get some money lost on it. Basically, cryto-mining is quite funny, so to avoid any losses, it's better if you do a quick research.

It's not all that great. Many rushed to mine BTG as soon as it launched. There had been many ranched mining rigs waiting for something like this and the hashrate that rushed into it was too much. Luck for 1 KSol/s is currently around 300 days. That's how much it'd take for a miner with that hashrate to mine a block. Do the math and it doesn't seem very profitable compared to other alternatives. Perhaps many mining it are counting on a price increase.
Weird whattomine.com showing BTG on top now. But reading some threads here looks like there are lots of crappy pools. Anyone with solid figures on BTG mining able to confirm what the daily yield is like and on what hardware. My 2 rigs with 12 x GTX1060 are mining in suprnova (it fluctuates but I think average hashrate is about 3100sol/s), daily yield is about 0.055-0.07 BTG, I mined exactly 14 days, so earned 0.88 BTG.

With ~3000€ for good GPU, ah ok you should pay a bit extra to build a rig with 6 GPUs GTX 1070, or a rig with 12 cards RX580.

SkyMiner07, your computer is strong on both CPU & GPU. So with 1080Ti, you could have many options: ETH, ZEN, ZEC, BTG, FTC, VTC, XZC,...Also with i7 8700k, you could consider to mine XMR.

12 x 1060. No issue at all on latest windows fall creator update. Hi s3c70r, your 12 GPUs are all 1060 or mixing between 1060 & P106? 12 x 1060 3GB , no P106-x on this Rig. Thank s3c70r, with just 1060 3G that average ~285 sol/s is very impressive. So could you share me which is your card branch and your setting on power limit, core, mem? My 1060 6G hashes about the same.

I don't understand does somebody mine this coin after all?
What are your price predictions? Are there any solid reasons to grow?
It's a dump and pump game, so if you want to gamble even just a bit, give a little hashrate for it, ofc I do it with 1-2 rig, the profit is not bad.

I have so many problems with this board. Probably just bios fucking me over all the time. I have 3x 1060 3gb and 3x p106-100 mining
Can't seem to get to work with 6gpus at the time. All 6 of them work fine separately. But when I plug them in all together I am stuck at Windows logo screen and the loading circle keeps circling.
I have tried enabling 4g decoding and then I don't even get to the windows screen. I tried switching to GEN1 and GEN2 still nothing. I did Windows 8.1/10 WHQL Support -> Enabled too.
Is there anything I am missing out? I once get them to boot with all 6, but then one GPU showed me following error: "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12).
I restarted and added 4gb RAM and didn't get it up and running.
I have few rigs with asrock pro btc h81 r2.0 and didn't had a problem with them at all. Then there was a time I coudn't get any cpu for Asrock motherboard so had to buy this one..
Anyone with similar problems?
I'm using this mainboard too, it's quite stable at mining. But It easy to get trouble on boosting which might be your rig's problem (when I update window to ver.1709, this boosting problem happen again). So in the boost section, you may try setting it to win (I dont remember exactly the options' name, but if you choose sth like P1.. it may get error).

You dont need to pay that much for Z370 MB + i5 8400 CPU, also a lot of miners suggest MSI MB is not a good deal. 8Gb RAM is enough, no need to use 16Gb. Ofc, EVGA 1600w PSU platinum is one of the best PSU, so which GPU you're using? If the GPU's TDP is about 180W, I think it not a good idea to handle these 8GPUs (8*180 = 1440W, risers+cpu+mb consumes ~150W) with 1600w PSU.
