801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC if all countries shut down exchange trading like China? on: September 14, 2017, 03:05:42 PM
Maybe to zero?

Really you don't have some insights about what will be the value?

How come we can do trades, buy, sell etc. if there is no exchanges? Person to Person? lol.

https://bisq.network/

Hmmm, let me quote something from their own FAQ:

Quote
Will my bank know I’m buying bitcoins?

There have been reports that some banks have closed client accounts when they see that there is Bitcoin activity involved.

The reference text of the bank transfer used to trade with Bisq will include only the Bisq trade ID (which is a random sequence of characters, like many other purchase IDs). Any trader that is not using the exact ID number as reference text of a bank transfer is considered in breach of contract, which will result in dispute resolution.

To avoid problems we recommend setting up a dedicated bank account for buying and selling bitcoins. If the bank were to block this account, it would cause fewer problems for you than if the bank were to block your primary account.

Never mention anything else than the trade reference in the subject field.

So, basically this so called "decentralized' app runs on bank transfers.
What is easier for banks than blocking those accounts ?
Manipulating forex rate is complicating compared to this.

You're far safer using local bitcoins than this .. hell..i'm going to say it... piece of crap..

You might need more info to understand the concept before you call it bad. You sound like Jamie Dillon.

Are you guys as happy as I am?
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 13, 2017, 10:21:08 AM
Hey guys, new member here Smiley

I've been watching Bitcoin's development since early August this year, and I finally gave in and bought 1 BTC for $4600. I didn't wait because I figured the value could easily break the $5000 barrier at any time, and if the price would suddenly normalize above that level, 1 BTC would be outside my budget.

I probably went OCD on the matter and should've waited instead of having to have 1 full BTC, especially since the ICO-related news from China were still pretty recent.

Anyway: the 2nd wave of news regarding shutdown of local exchanges hit hours after I made the purchace, and the value plummeted (it's now hovering just above $4000, that's a 13% decrease). Lesson learned I guess. I've been lurking on the forums for a couple of months trying to pick up some sound advice from you guys, and from what I've gathered I should stick with holding for 5-10 years instead of panicking. But honestly, it's tough to ride the lows.

Any words of encouragement? Grin I guess I'm not the only one who've had a nervous start in the world of cryptocurrencies. Anyone else feeling like they "need" to acquire 1 BTC before the train leaves the station for good?

Depends. If you want to hold Bitcoin as a long term investement, you shouldn't care about the ups and downs. Rather buy more when the price is low and turn into a true HODLER.
If you are trying to make a quick buck, you might be wrong at Bitcoin.

817  Other / Off-topic / Re: I am getting sick of fucking Chinese idiots on: September 12, 2017, 03:51:59 PM
Since you didn't exclude Chinese guys in your title, I thought, you were generalizing on purpose. So your title is meant to be like: ' I am getting sick of fucking femaleChinese idiots'

Thanks for clearing that one up.
I didn't put it in the title because it is redundant.  Anyone who is not a moron can simply look at me and realize I don't fuck fags.  That could explain why you are having trouble.  By your theory, I should write even more precisely: "I am getting sick of fucking female heterosexual living Chinese idiots".  But since most people are clearly able to figure that other shit out, I didn't think it was necessary to include it.  I write these titles for the general populous - not with consideration of you and your type AGD.

So the general purpose of your topic is what? Your sexual direction or a racist speech against the chinese people showing your lack of Bitcoin knowledge, thinking you and two or three of your followers can ban chinese Bitcoin users/ips/whatever?

1 NEO is 3.78 USD. I buy a good part of it for 1.20 USD/1 NEO. Deal?

You would have a lot more profit drilling holes everywhere you go to find a diamond.
820  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitcoinCrack.org - All Bitcoin Private Keys Cracker (review) on: September 12, 2017, 01:32:35 PM
i use this in my office work, where there is nothing important in my office laptop.

it's checking 2~3 addresses per seconds depending on connection speed, which means about 10,000 addresses per hour.
hope someday i can find something with it.

If you hope to find an address with money in it, you didn't understand Bitcoin at all.

i know and page already said it :
It is a very tiny possibility such as you search a small stone in the Universe.

but i use this as hope. with low chance to be true

This is only because you can't imagine how low the chance of finding a duplicate address actually is.
You will wreck zillions of computers and still your chances will be almost zero to find a collusion. Just the time you will need to check false positves, will be millions of times more worth, than what you going to win. You will die before you found a Satoshi. If 1000 generations (edit. of the entire mankind) from here start using this program, they will all die without finding a Satoshi in their lifetime.

Your chances are a incredibly higher, if you let your CPU solo mine Bitcoins.
