Waves is a good project, lots of connections with real world businesses and good developer. However, the price doesn't seem to rise much in relation to other coins. It looks like price manipulation by whales or other means. I had waves but decided to dump it rather than wait forever for it to moon. Might be better this year, but not much based on past statistics. Too many scammy tokens on waves which degrades it's purpose.

While all these alts are crashing NEO has remained relatively stable. Strong demand for this coin both in China and other parts of the world means that it will always increase. Ethereum is struggling now with a bloated blockchain which is getting slower and more expensive to use. NEO is the best alternative at the present time with successful ICOs being delivered on it's blockchain. This may change when LISK is released later this year (another ethereum competitor)

Tron dropped a lot more than the others because it was artificially pumped, and then the whales quickly cashed out. I think it will rise more organically now at a much slower pace. However, the tron dogs will not do any favours for the already over bloated blockchain of ethereum. It has already been broken by kittens, now it will be the dogs. When this happens, people will turn to NEO - this will be the coin to watch in 2018

Neither of these coins are scams. Both xspec and onion are legitimate projects but they have different levels or marketing and development. XSPEC is an old coin and is being developed very slowly with limited marketing. Onion is a new coin but with a bigger marketing budget and extremely fast developers. Arguably, xspec is ahead technically due to being on the market longer, but Onion will definitely overtake this year due to faster pace and better roadmap, and bigger exchanges on the way.

It is lower than $4 at the moment so right now it is a bargain. Market cap is very low considering the technical features of this coin, it is more private than monero and dash but doesn't have the marketing to propel it forwards. Distribution is increasing now so it is definitely becoming more well known, and therefore likely to rise in 2018. Potential price is very high and cryptopia is the best place to get some to hodl

Monetha is at rock bottom now so worth getting some of those, supposed to be the paypal of the crypto world when the product is released later this year. MGO is also cheap and not on a major exchange so expect a pump when they finally get it listed. LISK is a more expensive coin but as they are rebranding in less than 2 weeks time you can expect a pump from them as well. Pretty much all coins will go up but some more than others

I think you should hodl all coins, this is a temporary dip which is lasting a bit longer than usual but it is temporary. If you sell now you may not be able to buy back in again. Also it depends on whether you are part of the airdrop, if you sell then you need to keep some to qualify for the airdrop otherwise you're throwing away good coins for nothing. Wait for it to go back to normal and then think about your options. Privacy coins are gonna be big this year

Pretty much every coin is undervalued right now, the return to normal has been delayed so it looks like the sale is still on. Pick up any coin even bitcoin and you will see a nice pump after a few weeks or even days. For coins that are going to pump this month take a look at mobilego, they are going to release a new store this month. Also LISK is relaunching like NEO did last year so another pump there next week.

Big drop today, which is a surprise as it seemed like an upwards trend for the past few days. Market now is extremely unpredictable so I would say it is certainly possible for ethereum to drop down to $600. However, most seasoned investors know that the price of ethereum now is a bargain, it is likely to go up many times over throughout 2018 so the floor will probably be no lower than $600.

Whales are still here because they are interested in crypto - that is how they became whales! This is a good place to learn about both bitcoin and altcoins so why not still visit and continue trading. It can be addictive, and in a bear market like now they are primed and ready to buy up as much as possible. For this reason the market will rise quickly. The smaller traders still have an impact, we are many and they are few so do not underestimate us

I bet some traders will not even notice the crash. They buy into crypto now and then, after a while they check and see the profits. If you went on vacation during January then come back mid February then everything will be similar with a slight dip. Investing in the mobilego ICO has not been profitable, it did go above ico price in terms of fiat value but no where near in BTC value. Lots of unhappy investors still screaming at the MGO team. If you buy now though, you can grab a bargain as the price will surely rise. New mobile gaming store opening in a few weeks so might be able to make a profit when that happens, but it's still not listed on a major exchange, just the smallish ones.

The market is already going green! Should've bought shed loads of coin before the meeting - would have doubled on some coins already lol! Looks like the shoots of recovery have finally begun, the upwards march will be swift and long. The time has come to not only HODL but to sell everything on ebay and buy more crypto! Coinbase will be busy now, bet everyone is going there to crash the system

Not a big deal, they can just use a debit card or any other credit card of which there are many. They can even use a store credit card rather than one from a bank, these cards are crap anyway as you don't get anything but credit. Other companies give you reward points or superstore vouchers. It won't have a major effect, and with the price of bitcoin being so low they don't need credit to buy a decent amount of bitcoin.

Most people already bought ripple for pennies so they are still dumping now and making a profit. Those who bought over a dollar will have to cut their losses and invest elsewhere. Ripple is overly pumped, just take a look at the supply quantities and you will see if it's worth $2. After several years, no banks are using this coin and never will. It is too volatile, imagine if they used it 6 weeks ago and kept a supply. Now it is worth less than 50%, banks are not so foolish to risk money like this.

This is one of the funniest things I've read in crypto for a long time What makes this great is that he was actually serious about it. So it appears Venezuela has such a huge impact on the bitcoin world - bigger than South Korea, America, China, Russia etc.. they are the ones who crashed this market. Oh well, I guess we should sell all our worthless bitcoins and invest in petro instead. Is it on binance or bittrex yet 

Do not neglect your day job, that is the one that pays your bills and ensures you can get a paycheck at the end of it. Crypto trading is like an extra on the side where you may or may not get rich from it, in fact you might lose everything which is the case with unfortunate traders who invested in the bitconnect scandal. Trade during the commute or in the evenings, but when you're at work just check blockfolio once in a while - don't get hooked!

If you look at the supply of ripple and the fact that they can print even more of it makes $5 a very long term hold. If you're a patient person then go ahead and wait, otherwise cut your losses and get a faster rising coin like LISK. There is a relaunching event in a few weeks, you will regain your losses if you transfer your funds from one sinking project to a rising one. The coins that pumped i.e. verge and ripple have already done their moon rise, time to find another coin.

I think you are right, the crash has lasted for quite a long time now. Anyone who wanted cash for the Chinese new year celebrations would have already cashed out by now. They won't get much by doing it now, market is already down. Also you should remember that many young people receive money at this time and they will invest it in crypto - for this reason the market will go up and everything will go back to normal

I think they were right about LISK, they are doing a major relaunching event in 3 weeks time so you can expect a price rise for this coin. Also, there should be signs of recovery around that time and if there is a bull run then LISK will storm up the charts. As a competitor to ethereum they are allowing DAPP developers the chance to use javascript i.e the most widely used programming language - rather than solidity which ethereum uses (no idea what that is!)
