801  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Smart People Buy Bitcoin on: December 15, 2020, 01:35:47 PM
10million usd for mining btc is serious and even if say that mining of btc is getting difficult , i think they can still expect good returns with that amount of money theyl be using .

sure thing that some of the amounts on that 10m are going for the maintenance cost but that will only be at first days but later on they can recover it and they can make more btc more than what they can get on buying btc for one time only .  while mining , they are saving and can avoid hazards such as panic selling and enables them to see the maximum price of btc in the future
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you verify every bet as a gambler? Provably Fair Guide. on: December 15, 2020, 12:51:48 PM
A matter of your self judgement, if you feel that the casino are decent and seems that random results are taking place then continuing is not be an issue, you are free to enjoy and comfortly played, some are curious after hitting long losing streak the reason why they are checking the fairness of the site.
long red streaks usually occur if you play on higher odds and a gambler must be aware of that and not that they are going to judge a betting site especially if its really trusted and i bet that if they win they dont bother get curious of the results and verify it

but is that even possible that a result wont match after you verify a winning bet ? that would be verry strange if it occurs and salute to those bettors that still checks thier winning bets and not just the loosing ones .
803  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 15, 2020, 07:49:19 AM
i find it not so clear if you are hating the btc users or only the fake rich people because you said that btc will become useless once the time will come that there will be no internet and electeicity but didnt you knew that not all that who use btc are bragging that they rich . there are poor users that are humble and will be humble no matter how nuch they gain from the btc they have and there are also rich people that are investing in btc and if these people brag will you still find that offensive ? no because they are the ones that are trully rich .
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub now accepting Monero on: December 15, 2020, 07:00:44 AM
i forgot if verge created first before tron but tron is more popular than verge but still they added verge first in thier platform ? ah whatever .  trx is still added now anyway but why would a big company such as visa will end thier relationship to such a big porn player in the iundustry thesedays such as pornhub .

oh well , there must be a solid reason for that but why would pornhub adds crypto instead of finding a simillar alternative to visa ( non crypto ) because not all users till this date knows anything about crypto and theres a good number of cryptos already supported by them .
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing Bitcoin Ads : Mass adoption ongoing on: December 15, 2020, 06:09:17 AM
Great! This looks featured to me tho. Like Binance paying for the ad (for their personal interest). However, Binance or not, I feel proud to see such publicity about Bitcoin. BTW, not everyone will easy or will ever understand that second image. Lol.
it was like same as what we have seen on any other ads everywhere because next to them is the name of the company , thats normal and it looks legit than putting ads alone without the company name . not only that people wont easily conviced with it but people are also going to have a hard time if where to buy btc if ever they got curious of trying it . the third image you mean is not easily understandable ? at first i find it offensive or confusing as well because it says btc is dead but i think the second sentence is connected with it . its a smart way to catch everyones attention .
806  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - Lambo Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 15, 2020, 05:37:48 AM
Have you participated in the first challenge of the 12 days of Christmas forum?  Every day there is a new challenge and gain a share in the prize pool.  It's good to join this because you can try different games and enjoy hitting the right payout and others.
daily challenge ? woah thats nice . usually the challenge they have is once per week only and it gets boring once you complete it because you need to wait a week for it to finish and have another new one but now this can be verry exciting for players that have nothing to do but seek for adventures . challenge can be a good way to explore new games and payouts while at the same time you can win extra coins  .

I hope they increase the amount of the prize when the number of entries increases. 14 hours left.
yes it does thats how the challenge work . its written on the rules and i see that they have a new rule now which is you can get double prize if your account was verified .
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: December 15, 2020, 04:47:58 AM
For now crypto can only gaze at gold at crossroads and side by side looks like it still takes a few more years. Perhaps the classic reason for crypto is its fluctuating movements, whereas gold tends to be more stable. So investors definitely choose gold over crypto for the long term.
I think for that reason, Crypto is very suitable for long-term investment, because the Crypto price fluctuates so it can get profit in the future, Gold is suitable for safe Haven investment because the price is stable so that our assets do not fluctuate like Crypto.
fluctuations dont guarantee a future profit . what if you say that crypto will be profitable at 2021 but what if fluctuations did occur too on that year and the price fell down ? but fluctuations mostly defines short term or mid terms .

crypto is suitable for long term because of its scarcity  but we cant also know what will happen in gold , golds value can also increase in the future because gold is scarce too but it can be less because we dont know if how many supply left for it but most cryptos are fix and have a small supply only .
808  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 14, 2020, 10:32:44 AM
only 16 tickets this user got 0.188 BTC, very very lucky guy.
He is very lucky whoever he is, I envy him.  Whoever has the fewest tickets, he is the one who won and won the 1st prize.  I hope that one day I will be included in that table, even if not at first, as long as the top 10 is okay.  Then I will reveal here if that happens. Currently have 33 tickets for the lottery round 290.
thats nothing for a previous winner that wons the first prize with only 1 ticket ( if i still recall ) i havent see that in this thread but i was doing a manual scan for previous lottery winners if i have a time .

i dont buy tickets now but i buy tickets before although not that much because i only use the coins that i got on free rolls but with the new game/promotion of freebitco which is the wheel game i think this is the time that i can wagger more lottery tickets .
809  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: December 14, 2020, 07:23:27 AM

However how would you plan on trying to stop people from gambling with very very low odds of losing, like 90%+ chance, even as far as 99% if it is there (don't remember what the max was) and betting very small amounts and just leave it to automatic. That should probably give them a huge wagering amount without really losing too much money neither, it is still the same amount of money lost in the end, you will lose it all in the end, but it also allows them to wager more money before they end up losing it all.
Max win in yolodice is 98.99%, there is no way they put 99% winning chance since their house edge already 1%. With mutipler 1.001x on 98.99% winning chance, i think you would lose a lot since you need bet with huge bet to recover your lose before.

I don't think he's talking about recovering the loss, but about a wagering amount. If someone bets with a high chance, they're going to accumulate a far greater total wagaring amount than someone who bets with a lower chance. At least in theory. Assuming he doesn't lose everything in his first few bets.  Grin

this ! is the worst part that big bettor/waggerer is afraid to face . they want to wagger big so they bet big also but first or few rolls later they will loose their bet . i tried waggering once on the other gambling site to get a basic vip status but im lucky that my small bankroll ended right after i reach that first vip level but the edge of that site is higher than yolo , im just lucky enough that time .

@BTCappu playing for waggering can be different from playing to profit . some people cant enjoy playing idle with small amount because they will loose it all at the end without gains but if you can bet the same bet on higher odds theres a chance that you can score big profit if not loose
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 14, 2020, 06:21:45 AM

Odds certainly leads us to bigger risk when we don't take precautions, but still continue to bet without even thinking of huge money involved.

Higher odds, was a sort of promotions and won't actually coincide with reality of the betting outcomes.
its not the odds but its your bet size defines your risk if itl be big or small because on any odds big or small losses can occur but if your bet amounts are only small you only loose small but since you can still loose in any odds why not maximize the potential of your small bet amount onto the bigger odds for a much better profit .

high odds arent a promotion but to me promotion is different and promotion is more realistic to achieve than betting in higher odds .
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Network fee for Metamask Swap on: December 12, 2020, 04:18:26 PM
Metamask gives unrealistic transaction fee some times and when you make the transaction it will deduct very little gas fee and add the rest back to your balance, I think it's some kind of bug or flaws in the system, I prefer other wallets like trust or coinomi wallet where I can customize gas fee myself though
do regular users of meta mask are already aware with that ? maybe yes and your one of them because you wont comment like this if you dont use meta mask but do you feel comfortable like everytime you use meta mask you just ignore the high fees it show ? but what if it deducts you the exact amount it shown  . scary stuff right there  . i havent tried using meta mask in my long years here in crypto and i think i will never ever try if they wont fix that bug/issue and besides there still other wallets out there or other way to connect and access our wallet .
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2013, 2017 bubbles and 2020 bull run on: December 12, 2020, 03:30:04 PM
If we compare what happens in 2013, 2017, and 2020, the situation is different, which in this year, the adoption is growing fast. And the bubbles in this year will not be the same as before,

people often compare years because they saw similarities in the movement of the price but the exact price will rarely repeat , you already state the reason why .

yes that is because adoption now is more stronger than before but the more the price can rise the chance of having a big dump or a huge bubble is also getting more realistic but lets not worry too much because even if gets popped out we can still experience a recovery but only for those valueable coin like btc and eth .
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 12, 2020, 02:53:24 PM
Interesting and funny. How can a man be controlled by his wife? If I were that man, I would immediately divorce her because no one could control me, including the bitcoins I own. For me, a husband is responsible for providing for his wife, but a wife should not be at-will in managing a husband's assets

same i dont like to be dictated or under by my wife but theres actually husband that can be controlled easily by thier wives and wives often have that alibi that that they will leave thier husband if they wont do what they want .

there was also a thread here before that a husband got divorce by his wife and his wife wants a share with his btc and they up this case on the court  . i forgot the title but its really possible .
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth 32 stakign kind of thing on: December 12, 2020, 11:16:24 AM
he thought that when people stake eth it has the same effect has selling it but no but staking can be the same aa hodling . right now there are feedbacks that says that eth staking on 2.0 isnt that profitable so why worry ? not profitable can discourage eth hodlers to stake thier own eth .

the service is also new and it wont be that trendy for the first time but they will wait for many people to try the service . collecting 32 eth isnt also easy because the value of eth is rising fast . eth will be fine
815  Economy / Economics / Re: Banks going in stable coins news its starting now on: December 12, 2020, 09:03:04 AM
did they say they are going to airdrop ? if yes then check thier schedule but if they didnt said any then dont expect anymore . there are new created coins with airdrops and bounty on them to promote thier coin but not all newly created coins conducts this .

free coin distributions for specific coin hodlers do also occur when there is a forking of a coin on that current coin you hodl but again they will announce it first if ever there are  .
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: December 12, 2020, 04:15:40 AM
A beautiful concept but at this current state of Bitcoin, is it still a good idea considering the fact that Bitcoins future remains uncertain?

You ONLY should be dollar cost averaging into any assets that you believe have long term potential and that you believe are going to end up having such value that you would be able to cash out with profits.

If you do not have confidence in bitcoin's long term potential to be worth more in the future than your average cost per BTC, then you should not invest in it.

Have fun staying poor is the current expression.. but you have to decide for yourself and don't blame anyone if it does not work out.

It is not an easy decision. Bitcoin is trading very close to the ATH levels, and at least some of the "experts" are claiming that it looks overpriced at current exchange rates. For new investors with limited maneuverability, it can be a tough decision. There is going to be a psychological barrier, when you want to invest in an asset at $18,000 per coin, after knowing that it was trading at $4,000 per coin just two years ago.
experts are actually buying more and predicts that btc can shoot up to 100k dollars while non experts are the ones that are worrying and thinks that price will now start to collapse and this discourage them to buy but this will also make them sold early . new investor can mean that they are new in crypto investing but they have experience in investing in other assets but there are also new investors that are literally new to every investment , which one do you mean by that ? experienced investors will forgot the past of the coin but will foccus more on its future .
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Yearn.Global bounty scam? on: December 12, 2020, 03:31:36 AM
First you need to contact bounty manager and force it to collect updates. If the bounty manager is inactive then collect some information and present a topic in the scam section.
he already pm'ed the bounty manager that handles this campaign , the convo between him and the manager is posted in the first page . the manager replied that he also didnt got paid , you as a manager and didnt got paid is already a big thing and a solid proof that a campaign can be a scam .

the manager didnt provide extra details and we dont know if he have an update because op didnt update us yet but forcing the manager to do it is not right . they are manager and he is only a worker why will he forced someone with a high rank than him . if really want to solve this case he can act on it further .
818  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic will bring more economic progress in long-term... on: December 11, 2020, 09:25:32 AM
grats to your company . they arent scared to take risk on those investment because they believe that its going to help them and infact without this, companies may struggle from going back on their work because of the obstructions caused by the pandemic . i never worked for a real company ever since the start of covid pandemic but i can notice that most companies and business now around me are using the power of the internet or being online . pandemic brings innovation but more progress will be achieve once pandemic will end
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: December 11, 2020, 08:51:46 AM
a pack of cig contains 20 piece dang thats alot of smokes for a day and you do this straight for 1 week but for how long did you already adopt this habit ? im glad that your still doing fine and thats good that you realize before everything is too late to change . i dont say btc is healthy but you can earn cash thru it that you can buy healthy foods or good stuffs to make your life more better than spending big money per weeks for unhealthy products . you dont only need to buy when the value of btc is increasing but it should motivate you to buy more whwn its value is decreasing .
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 🤔 How do you distribute your portfolio? BTC vs Altcoins on: December 11, 2020, 08:11:49 AM
your thoughts on btc are true actually . its more safer because men that was btc but if you think it was safe why would you only put 35 percent and why not 50 or over 50 percent . you only put 35 percent so i think that the rest 65 goes to altcoins ( or it goes like this 50 percent to eth then 15 percent to smaller alts ) . my portfolio goes like this , 70 percent to btc and 30 percent to altcoins  . btc is my main coin and my serious investment but the rest are just my toys or my not so serious investment . i want to see if im lucky enough on those picks
