Soon Ethereum proof of work will be changed to proof of stake consensus. And holders will receive coins for staking Ethers. So I think this is a good motivation to hold Ethereum.

Currently the token market is dominated by ETH for sure. NEO, NEM, Wave are here for quite a period but haven't challenged ETH in anyway. EOS, Stellar, ADA and TRON are also popular but their worth is still to be seen. They are similar to a level but most of them different enough to co-exists, time would tell. That is what I am thinking about it. But when do you think that this will happen? In few months, years? Before massive adoption? |

I am replying to this thread after 3 months and I have the same opinion. Market is really stable now and market doesnt want to go down or up, so you were probably right with your prediction. But I think it is healthy for the market  . |

That is the right opinon. Crypto is not dying, it is not going down, it stabilizes now and big whales accumulate a huge amount of coins and less savvy investors are selling these coins to the whales.

Hi guys, I would like to know when selection occurs. I mean there are a lot of same altcoins with same use, some offers better features but some are more estabilished.
Good example is Ethereum and its competitors like NEO, EOS, TRON and many more.

Ethereum is older, more accepted, more developers, more used, more created apps.
EOS is faster, very interesting now because they are giving a lot of free EOS tokens for holders (aidrops are almost every day)

I think it's very early to talk about the restoration, because the situation with the market is now very manipulative and many understand this, because they can not do anything, so most of the people who clearly understand that the best action now is inaction, they simply forgot what trading is.
Manipulation will be soon reduced. American governments started to to investigate exchanges about manipulation and I think they will stop do it because if they continue with manipulation they will have a real problem. |

Why people invest in ICO when it is risky and these days most of the coins are dropping. Do you think ICOs are going to survive for a long time?
ICOs should be more regulated and transparent. We should know that they are creating a real project and they dont want quick money only. |

I think you need to read carefully about an ico before investing and consult to see if the project has some serious legal advisors and legal framework in place. And there are also projects that indicate in their whitepaper and during ico stage that their project is not a security backed up some legality. I think it all goes down to doing proper consultation before investing in an ico.

I am waiting for the next drop and will buy about 20-25 NEO which will generate about 3.5 GAS per year. When GAS will grow again I will have arround 150USD passive income only for holding NEO.
