802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to get reliable bounties on: January 16, 2019, 09:00:56 PM
The success of any bounty campaign depends on the performance of the project later on and on other way, the performance of any project also is determine by the effort put in by the bounty hunters. However, success of both the bounty campaign and the project has no guarantee due to many factors beyond the control of the people, hunters or the team involved. Everything is a risk and nothing is certain. One must have that consciousness. Bountyhive is still my best bet and campaigns managed by btcltcdigger.
803  Economy / Speculation / Re: The market looks boring 2019 on: January 15, 2019, 07:51:22 PM
Already in 2019 and the market looks boring. Just get a life outside crypto-verse and light it up with real life enjoyment/engagement. Forget about taking profit, buying the dip, losing of investment or shorting. Just have a reflection on other things. Know that you will be welcome back when the market party starts.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: do we still have hope to be able to see bull run?? on: January 14, 2019, 08:41:08 PM
now the market falls again, do we still have hope to be able to see bull run. no one knows when the market can recover. even with the many good news about the ethereum hardfork unable to make the market jump. so I thought bull run would only be a dream for all of us.
These two things are constant in any free market: increase and decrease in price. Bullrun is certain, we will definitely see another bullrun and many more. However, no one knows when.
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why So Bloody Hard to Buy Crypto? on: January 14, 2019, 08:33:08 PM
Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are becoming more accepted these days.

Why then, is it so bloody hard for the average person to learn where to buy it?  Is it because it's considered "dirty money?"

Your opinion?
Learning where to buy cryptocurrencies these day is not something that is hard. The bloody hard thing is learning about these cryptos and understanding the technology behind them. Just like an average person in the space might not know or understand the word blockchain or smart contract, but only to buy and sell cryptos.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Over? on: January 14, 2019, 08:21:12 PM
Every time bitcoin has a price drop, everyone is saying that bitcoin is dead, but then it returns every time stronger than before.

As already happened in the past  Wink
Everyone saying bitcoin is dead every time there is a drop in price to me is just a way of spreading fear among investors because just as you have said it always come back stronger.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2019 on: January 13, 2019, 06:53:26 PM
Over time and technological advances in the digital era, many people have been very interested in investing some of their money in the world of cryptocurrency such as Ethereum / (Altcoins). What are your plans for next year, and will you participate in the ICO?
Thank you.
I have not participated in any ICO before now and I have no plans to dive into one now or in the future. The risk attached to ICOs is high especially in this bad market. If am in love with any project, I wait till it's listed before accumulating.
808  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: would u open a loan to buy the dip? on: January 13, 2019, 06:44:20 PM
This will be a dangerous move; opening a loan to buy this dip. Have you consider many ifs attached to this move? Like what if you buy the dip and the market goes dipper? What if the market didn't smell recovery until 2021? How will you pay back your loan? The risk is too high. Hell no, I won't take a loan to buy the dip.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin and why? on: January 13, 2019, 06:34:03 PM
If am not hopeful I won't be here. I am really hopeful about the future of Bitcoin just because the technology driving it is beyond price and value. Also, this crypto is still at infant stage, still developing and evolving every day. By the time it reaches its full potential with upcoming upgrades and additional developments, it will be a world changer.
810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Yearly All Time Lows For BTC on: January 12, 2019, 08:23:30 PM
2012 - $4
2013 - $65
2014 - $200
2015 - $185
2016 - $365
2017 - $780
2018 - $3200

Puts a lot into perspective.
This is amazing and says a lot about how bitcoin has performed over the years especially last year. But the people that bought at ATH or close won't understand this.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Our future with Crypto on: January 12, 2019, 08:10:43 PM
we better not depend our future with cryptos because we are already aware that cryptos are not stable .
Just because cryptos are unstable at the moment doesn't mean we can't build a future with it. We just have to make it stable and I believe when the adoption has gone far, there will be less volatility. This space is still developing.
812  Economy / Economics / Re: How to wake up a bear? on: January 12, 2019, 07:53:14 PM
Friends, what are you doing now, when the market situation continues to deteriorate, in your opinion how to take advantage of such a serious decline in order to win at least something? Did you manage to wake up the bear and get at least a small profit? Have you bought any coins in the hope of growth in the new year? I  am only waiting for the market to wake up.
Same thing here, just waiting for the market to wake up. Even when the market wasn't in this decline, I got my hands burnt many times while trading. so, trading is not an option. Not buying any coin as well due to lack of capital. I'm just participating in few bounty programs that I believe will making significant impact in the market when it's finally awake.
813  Economy / Economics / Re: Is E-Commerce platforms will do a positive Impact on Cryptocurrencies ? on: January 12, 2019, 07:41:09 PM
Combination of blockchain and e-commerce will certainly have a positive impact on cryptocurrency adoption and usage. The idea is not new as some ecommerce platforms are already integrating cryptocurrencies on their platforms. However, this combination still needs more time to develop and fully evolve for great impact to be felt on both industries.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose a good project? on: January 12, 2019, 07:17:40 PM
A lot of guides and steps has been stated for you to follow on discovering good projects. Just to add two points. Firstly, instinct, I can't explain how this works but we all have this in-built mechanism to guide us in our daily decision making. After thorough reading, researching and analyzing your project, you have to listen to your inner man and follow your instinct. Proper and adequate observation of the development team, general coordination of the project would help a lot. Remember that scams are well planned and executed these days, making them look like the real deal until the final exit. Secondly, there is no need rushing into any project. Just wait, relax and observe how your selected projects perform even after listing on exchange before you dive in.
Good luck man
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it good to buy after ICO because price may drop? on: January 11, 2019, 06:38:30 PM
Whilst it is a good strategy to buy after the ICO and after listing on an exchange as the price must have drop below ICO price, we are also meant to understand that project team won't have any fund to work with if everyone resort to that method. Listing itself these days means there will be drop from the ICO price, unlike in the past where mere listing announcement will cause a shoot up in price.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin need a miracle on: January 11, 2019, 06:03:22 PM
With the recurrent frustrations as a result of this bear market, one will be tempted to organize prayer and fasting session for the market. However, not that the market needs a miracle, it is just us that has failed to accept that this kind of situation is inevitable and those that understood are losing out their patience. Yet, for the other guys, they are still trading and making profit during this period. I think we just need to be optimistic. This season will only be part of history.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: January 11, 2019, 05:32:09 PM
First of all, that $10,000 must be some money I don't need and I can avoid to loose. Next is to do my due diligence on Top 20 coins on CMC, pick the best 5 with real life usage and split the capital accordingly. Looking the coins you've mentioned, I think you already have good taste for good performing coins.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet supports the upcoming hard forks? on: January 09, 2019, 07:11:12 AM
1. classic vision has no identifiable team so the project is questionable.
2. nowa has been exposed as a definite scam with shuttershock photos
3. constantinople is a real fork, but you won't get any free coins, any eth wallet is fine
Thanks for sharing this.
No room for questionable and scam projects.
While constantinople is the real fork, we await the innovation it brings to the blockchain as well as its effect on ETH value.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do when price falls? on: January 07, 2019, 08:43:39 PM
Selling when price falls is of no use. The only profitable thing to do when price falls is to buy more if there is capital. In case there is short of funds, just hodl. Trading during the period is okay but must be done wisely.
820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why are Exchanges promoting Trading competitions? on: January 07, 2019, 07:49:11 PM
Exchanges promoting Trading competitions to me is more like a business strategy employed by those exchanges. A lot of transaction/withdrawal/deposit fees will be in for the exchange. Trading volume will be boosted and so much more to be benefited by the exchange. The token used during the competition tends to gain more popularity and in the process been exposed to potential investors given the competition is on a big and trusted exchange. I think it will be a win-win for both the exchange and the token project. Trading competition is not a bad concept.
