806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question about Valid Collateral on: December 01, 2015, 05:52:22 PM

I'm trying to acquire about 5btc and my collateral will be my website and some domains. I have a local travel blog with a growing forum of its own and the domains along with it in my fatcow account. is this going to be a valid collateral and can i get about 5btcs for it?

It is valid collateral in the sense the domains can be transferred and not recovered and you may grant exclusive access/ownership for your site/server to the lender (or escrow). Just keep in mind the ownership can't be shared with you for it to be valid collateral.
Regarding the value you'd need to publish specific traffic and income stats to establish whether it's worth more than 5BTC plus interest. If you think it is then I recommend you to post your loan request with the full information.

808  Other / Meta / Re: [Proposal] New "Ancient" ranking / higher than Legendary on: December 01, 2015, 05:21:22 PM
What would be the minimum activity, 2000?

For Jr. Member it's 30, for Member 60, for Full Member 120, for Sr. Member it's 240, for Hero 480 and for Legendary (although random) it's around 960.
Then the logic answer would be 1920, either exactly that or somewhat random around that. So about 5 years and 3 months of full activity would be required.
809  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .09 btc Loan on: December 01, 2015, 04:55:31 PM
polniex.com account not valid collateral,  because account can easily be recovered by social engineering.

It is valid, since you can transfer the coins to your own wallet and then you can give him loan. As simple as that.

As long as the account has enough alt coins to cover the loan. I really doubt it...

OP, your forum account is not valid/enough collateral. Your poloniex account is valid only if it has altcoins worth more than 0.095, please confirm if it does.
If you don't either offer valid collateral or close this thread you'll receive more negative feedback in a few minutes.
810  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchaning Either Btc to PayPal or PayPal to BTC [ Image Proof ] on: December 01, 2015, 04:40:44 PM
A SS is not a valid proof, even a kid can do that with Inspect element, to actually prove that you have the claimed BTC sign a message from the address you hold funds in.
And will you be using escrow?
he dont have any btc look https://blockchain.info/address/1CrxDtpVMt9ogoyryf3qUwPzLjkgoaka1z
The image he provided is a fake. He has created that image using Inspect element and changed the real values into fake ones.

Strictly speaking it may be possible OP's account has several addresses with funds. The one shown on the image could be only one of those.
Of course I don't think that's the case and the simple fact OP tries to pass a screenshot (even if it were real) as proof instead of signing a message raises a big red flag.
I wouldn't recommend anyone dealing with him. I'll remove my feedback if OP proves funds properly with a signed message.

812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will I recieve my bitcoin? on: December 01, 2015, 01:02:34 AM
You don't need to contact any support. If that's your address then the seller sent the 0.1 BTC and you received it. The only problem here is your wallet (bitcoin core) needs to download the whole blockchain.

If you'll have a normal/basic (no dev, no research) use of bitcoin then I strongly recommend you to get other wallet instead. You can use one that doesn't require to download every block. For example you can get Electrum, but there are other options.

Regarding the current transaction to your address (not URL) you have 2 options: 1) Wait a couple of days until the whole blockchain is download and it appears in your wallet. Then you can send the funds to your new light wallet. 2) The other options is exporting the private key from your core wallet and sweeping it into your new one. That's advanced and I recommend you to use that only if you need to move the received coins urgently. Here's more information about that: Export, Sweep.

bobsa is getmoremonline@gmail.com really your email?
I guess you didn't agree on what to do if the account gets frozen right?
yes he is the same user as getmoremonline

Please post the message when he mentions that address. Indeed leaving positive trust to himself seems very untrustworthy.

817  Other / MultiBit / Re: BTC sent and confirmed but did not arrive on: November 29, 2015, 01:55:16 PM
OP: whom are you paying to? A forum member? A company? Please post the message, screen or whatever you have when the payment address and the value to pay are published.

What does "he did not receive for 100%" mean exactly? Is it possible you sent slightly less than you had to? If you're dealing with a system/website it's possible it just shows that message even if 99.9% is paid.

That screen with the address and amount will help.
818  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [ WTS ] BTC for PayPal paid as gift @ preev.com + 14% on: November 28, 2015, 04:10:58 PM
Can i try $10 usd? Since you're newbie here. PM me if you can. (My paypal is verified also)
Yes, you can Smiley
You'll have to send $11.4 as gift WITHOUT any notes/words in your payment to my PayPal Id (which I'll PM you after 6 minutes of writing this message as I have to wait 6 minutes before making posts on this forum).

Once I have received this $11.4, then I'll send you $10 worth of BTC immediately Smiley

Thanks,
Sagar

Or you will use escrow right? Of course it would be a very bad idea to send funds first to you without using a trusted member of this forum as escrow.
819  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcoinblackfriday.info - Do NOT use their website. on: November 28, 2015, 03:45:41 PM

Actually he was complaining just for the lack of answers and once he recieved one he closed the case and locked the thread. It was hard to see this coming before they posted those links to phishing sites yesterday. But with this precedent hopefully people will pay more attention in the future.
820  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Looking for 4 BTC loan to hire people to assist with coin and website on: November 28, 2015, 01:13:16 AM
As I said already I will remove my negative trust if you close your thread immediately.
You can add [Closed] to the beginning of thr title and lock it using the left-bottom button.
