Every different coach then it will affect the players let alone give a lot of minutes to play so chances are he won't fail especially since Tammy Abraham has already played there, I think Ten Hag has a better plan if he really wants Tammy Abraham from AS Roma.

I am sure I have read somewhere that Tammy Abraham has Chelsea buy-back clause of around 60m so it would be tough for United to get him. United are one of the major competitors and Chelsea wouldn't want to allow this move happen. It seems pretty hard to me.

There are also rumors that Victor Osimhen is a summer target for Manchester United but yeah the price is high but looking at his current performances with Napoli it is certainly worth the quality, only now Erik Ten Hag can determine other alternatives after the main target is not found.

Even with these rumors, it would be different then.

I think with De Jong signing they filled in the depth they needed in striker department in the squad and bought time to get a proper target for the next transfer window. I think they will think about this very carefully and would only go for a player if they really think that he can be crucial to the team. I am sure the list will have more names than just Osmihen and Abrahams.

A very exciting match between Liverpool vs Everton and this is a Merseyside derby match which certainly took place very hot, as evidenced by the commotion between players of the two teams during the match. The 2-0 result was pretty good for Liverpool considering they were very difficult in the end to get a win. Goals were scored by Mohammed Salah and Cody Gakpo. Finally, Gakpo scored his first goal with Liverpool this season after he arrived from PSV in the last winter transfer market. In the next match Liverpool must get 1 more win in order to be free from the mid-table.
that's actually a very good match for gakpo. he was scoring first goal but it seems like that we can't take the result against everton as a good reason to say if gakpo has found its best performance. Liverpool has been using the result from last match to boost the performance from its club. Klopp was also feeling confident with the result against everton. It takes a few matches for gakpo to make his first goal and it's also against a team that has been performing the worst in EPL.

Yeah they did well but I wouldn't call them back to form yet. Things were better in last game but they still have to improve a lot. They still have lot of injured players and without them and to play in PL and CL both is very tough. What they need is a strong performance from everyone in the team. Next game is against Newcastle and they are a tough opponents so it would be interesting to see if they will be able to continue against them.

Looks like Villa has no chance, the game is one-goal game and the only interesting thing, whether Aston Villa will score a goal or not, now the odds on Aston Villa's goal is already 3.5 and I think further will only grow.
In theory Aston Villa can score one goal, but not with such a game as in the first half.
I hope Unai Emery will find the right words at halftime, otherwise it will end in a big win for City and defeat Aston Villa.
Aston Villa have almost no chance of winning, they can't come back from 0-3 against Manchester City.

Yeah that seems like job done for City. Aston Villa are performing very poor in defence and are unable to handle City's attack strongly so I think this game is pretty much done and dusted. Aston Villa are having so much hard time trying to hold City's attack down that they have been unable to get any time for attack. I also don't think Villa has any chance of winning now with the way they have played the first half.

Manchester City vs Aston Villa is an another interesting match in the weekend. But the question most viewers are asking in the hall, now that Manchester City has scored 1 goal within 4 minutes period and seeing the struggle of Aston Villa, will Aston Villa win, or equalize in the match? Since we are talking about prediction here. I also predicted Manchester City to win the game. Erling Haaland is playing well. Let's see the out come of the match at the full time of the game.

Villa can find good amount of chances but its upto them to take those opportunities and find the net. I think they can find good chances in counters as they really are vulnerable while facing quick counters. So far City are dominating and pressurizing Villa's defence but scoreboard can change at any point. If City score 1-2 goals more than I think they have done their job in this fixture and I don't think Villa will be able to make a comeback but so far Villa has a chance still(but slim chances),
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: February 12, 2023, 04:17:24 PM
when facing leipzig, union berlin did not seem to dominate, they even only managed to get 36% ball possession, union berlin is very lucky to score goals in 61 and 72 minutes. the narrow 2-1 victory they managed to get made them in second place at the moment, really very competitive competition, just look at the difference in points between bayern, union and Dortmund.
Leipzig was very unlucky at home against Union Berlin, because even though Leipzig managed to control the ball better and also had a bigger percentage. There is no guarantee for Leipzig to win because Union Berlin was able to create a better rhythm of play so that Union Berlin managed to win at home to their opponents, although not easily.

I would say Berlin were lucky but Leipzig also should have done better defending. The first one came from sweet strike from Haberer but Leipzig defender should have checked that or should have tried to block it going close. Possession doesn't matters much, you can be shooting blanks and that will make all possession go worthless. Great comeback from Berlin but I honestly think they were a bit lucky there.

It seems we are going to be having a lucky win for Manchester United here with M. Rashford to have headed a ball right into the net. Now, its a question of if they can hold on with just 10minutes om the clock as Leeds have been good on the attack all game.

Edit:
Just before I was done typing, Manchester United have scored a second goal by Garnacho.

That seems like a job done at Elland Road and what a great goals from United. Both of them were top goals and they surely played the last 10-15 minutes better than leeds. Truly deserve the lead and with that they stand now at 2nd on the table but they can again drop to 3rd which depends on the next game of City vs Aston Villa which I think City should be able to win easily.

It was a day full of unexpected outcome in the English Premier league, where Leicester city won Tottenham 4:1 in Leicester home, Tottenham has been So inconsistent losing 4:1 to leicester after winning manchester city last weekend in a match that ought to have been hard for them, this is a bad one for a team that want to move upward in the league table, the away side with all the possession couldn't utilize the shots, the really have to go back to the drawing board and restrategize on how to win match if not the worst is expected of them.

Spurs have been really bad recently and the defeat today against Leicester is really going to put many in the dressing room furious. Well Leicester have been playing well recently but Spurs are also are a big team and they have a very good squad. Spurs were defensively very poor and so was their passing today. Lot of mistakes from the defence line and horrible passes that gave Leicester all the chances. I am sure Conte would have been very pissed after the game. They had good chance of making into top 4 which they dropped today in this game.

I will not comment too much on the players currently owned by Chelsea because indeed they have spent a lot of money to get them, it should be proven by their good play on the field. If Graham Potter really wants to build Chelsea from the ground up then he should have made good progress because I think that was enough time for him when he first stepped foot at Chelsea. If not doing this season, at least they have a clear and structured process of what he's going to do next season.

Their defence is not a strong one in my opinion. They need to make a good signing in defence and by good I mean someone who has been a crucial player of the previous team and not a young potential one. They need someone strong who can play along with Thiago Silva sharing defensive duties. They still can get on track but it will take time. I can see them getting creative again which is good. I think slowly they will get back on track in a month.

The last three games have not been great for Arsenal in the competition, losing to Manchester United and Everton 1-0 currently drawing with Brentford 1-1 at home. And this makes it easier for Manchester City to be able to win the top of the standings and the next game Arsenal will meet Manchester City again, will Arsenal experience the same thing and lose to Manchester City even though playing at home to Arsenal.
The match against Brentford was Arsenal's chance to get away from Manchester City, but the reality was unexpected Brentford was able to hold it in with a draw. I am worried that Arsenal's performance will decline in the following matches because their last three matches have produced poor results.

Without Jesus its not looking good for us. We need him desperately and btw Arsenal won against United but still we are playing not like we are playing before the World Cup. We need that winning momentum back again. So far things are only looking good for us because City are dropping points and that can change at any point of time. Brentford was never an easy game to begin but we should also have performed better. Things need a slight change and hopefully Arteta makes things in order before the next game.

IMO, the presence of Wout Weghorst with United was not meant to be a goal getter. or as, Target Man. but rather, to open up space for his team-mates. Ten Hag, is an intelligent trainer also qualified with experience. if United need a pure striker, yes, it is. however, it looks like they will try to get some players in next summer window. and several names have been included in the list that they will bring to Old Trafford later. whether it's Kane, Osimhen, or the names of other players. one thing for sure, I'm sure Ten Hag can't go wrong when it comes to bringing in newcomers. no exception for the midfield, United also need it. but suppose Osimhen wants to join United next season, and Nopoli let him go. I'm sure United will be much better than what they are currently showing.

I also initially thought different that ten Haag will be using him as a substitute for the most of the game but guess there seems to be a different sort of plan in mind of ten Haag. So far he hasn't got a goal but I don't think he is bad at all. He drops in and like you said opens up space so that is also another aspect  which most of us misses. Weghorst is only on loan and if I recall correctly it was a long without buy option so I think United will be going after a striker in next window.

So far whatever signings United have made recently are really helping the team. Antony, Malacia, Martinez, Casemiro, Eriksen are all good signings and ten Haag is using them very well. So yeah, I will agree with you that they are taking up their time but making the right signings. Need a bit more of this and I think they can be a consistent squad once again.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 10, 2023, 04:20:00 PM

And they write that for Manchester Kane seems "old" and Manchester is considering younger players like Osimhen, Ramos or Kudus.

Manchester United may pay €100m for the Harry Kane transfer, but they may not be able to make the same money from the next sale. I don't think they would spend that much on Harry Kane. I agree with you on this. If they spend this amount of money on young football players, they will make a better decision. Also, Leao can be added next to Osimhen and Kudus. He is also a very talented football player. Also, if I'm not mistaken, his contract would expire this season. I think he is the best option for Manchester United.

Kane leaving Spurs will be a shocking news to me if happens so I don't think its gonna happen. Furthermore United are Spurs competitor so I don't think they are gonna allow them to leave to another PL club and make their season hard for them. Yeah going for a young talented players is a good investment but its risky also. Not many can adjust into PL play style and do wonders like they usually did in their previous clubs. Take Werner(time at Chelsea) and Nunez(Liverpool) for example. So if a club gets a player from other leagues at 50-60m then I think its worth it but if they are paying more than that then I think its a risky one.

The latest rumors come from Atletico Madrid who are interested in signing Sofyan Amrabat from Fiorentina in the summer transfer market. We know that Amrabat's performance was quite impressive when he defended Morocco at the 2022 world cup and he also played an important role in bringing Morocco to the semifinals. Diego Simione seems to need his services as a central midfielder to strengthen Atletico Madrid next season and it looks like if he accepts Atletico's offer it will make his career shine even more.

Its a rumor for next transfer window now. There were lot of offers for Amrabat but all were denied as they were either low on bid or were loan move. I am sure Fiorentina will be asking in the range of around 60-70m Euro at least to sell Amrabat. Atletico are not the only one after the player. Barcelona and Chelsea were actually interested in this player and did communicated with Fiorentina in last window. Chelsea got Enzo so I am not sure if they will be still going after Amrabat in next window. Possible there will be more clubs joining in to get the player.

The Gunners would make the most of the crucial situation in the city by defeating inferior clubs and racking up all the desired points. After suffering an upset loss to Everton in their previous encounter, the Gunners take on the Bees this weekend. When they play Brentford, Mikel Arteta needs to restore the faith and confidence of the crowd at the Emirates Stadium. Thomas Frank, who also triumphed in his most recent contest against Southampton, will use his best strategy going forward, and both teams boast strong top front-line players. Ivan Tony and Bryan Mbeumo pose the biggest risks to gunners, and Mikel Arteta will look for strategies to stop them so that his team doesn't have to deal with them throughout the game.

Its not like with the loss in last round fans have lost the confidence but we do need the better consistency than City if we are to finish at the top of the table. Brentford are tough opponents but with a strong gameplan, I think we will be able to defeat Bees easily. We defeated them near the start of the season at their stadium and we can do again at our home. We are performing better and have added some strong players so hopefully we will be able to get the maximum out of upcoming fixture.

In last game, Arsenal were struggling to defend against corners so hopefully we have that gap covered before the game. Ben Mee is given a full license to go while corners so he is a big threat. As for in counters, we need to check on Toney and Mbeumo runs . Da Silva is also another threat so whoever is given the responsibility of checking him should do a good job throughout the game.

Not easy how how to get Victor Osimhen sign's in the next window transfer opening because his previous team Napoli will wait with most expensive offering from other team, right now many teams have announced about interested to sign Victor Osimhen and latest rumor Chelsea want to break another new record transfer and give higher values than other team offering.

Yeah lot of clubs will be after him as he continues on to shatter records in Serie A so not an easy one one to go after for sure.

Honestly, Victor Osimhen is the best choose on center forward for Manchester United, new recruitment on January window transfer are Wout Weghorst still not effective yet after 4 matches appearance can't scoring any one goals yet. Need find new center forward target for Manchester United and fantastic if success signing Victor Osimhen.

Yeah they do need a reliable striker. Right now Rashford is scoring for them but sooner or later they sure will need someone more to step up and score. There will be lot of targets Osimhen would be a tough one so they can also go after another one.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 09, 2023, 05:47:09 PM
From all indications, the next option for Manchester United would be Victor Osimhen. The board might be looking at Harry Kane considering his experience in the league and his profile as a striker. But Ten Hag would prefer a pure No. 9, which is a striker like Osimhen. Harry Kane often drops to the midfield line in order to aid in the build-up, with Osimhen more as a true number 9.
It is estimated that Manchester United move to bring in Osimhen will not be easy, his slick appearance with Napoli has made many of Europe top clubs scrambling to get Osimhen signature. In addition, Napoli want £107 million for any club that wants to sign Osimhen. Ten Hag must have another option if he fails to get Osimhen, Harry Kane can be included in Manchester United shopping list because his experience in the Premier League has been tested.

Definitely getting osimhen won't be easy but are United really looking for another striker? They have Rashford and Martial with Weghorst on loan so I think it's packed in strikers department as of now. Both Kane and Osimhen are tough ones . It would need lot of communication before it finalizes. Kane is near to impossible and as for Osimhen, it would be about finding the right bid and we know how United drags the negotiations in this kind of situations. So I am not very convinced if they will actually get either of them for next season if such is their plan.
816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 09, 2023, 05:23:49 PM
I think there were two breaking points in the Manchester United - Leeds game.

One of them was Garnacho's absolute goal chance after feint against the goalkeeper. His attempt was cleared amazingly by Wober. If Manchester United scored there maybe they would have made the score 2-1 also. The other breaking point was Leeds' free-kick with Aaronson which hit the goal post. If that ended up with a goal then Leeds were going to make the score 3-1. Leeds' second goal was really unlucky for Manchester United also by the way. If the ball didn't hit Varane and changed its direction maybe there would have still been a hope for a win for Manchester United.

Yeah there were lot of close chances but still both teams weren't able to capitalise on those chances well enough. Now we can only wish for those to have ended in the net but that won't change anything now. United should have done better and I think Casemiro's presence would have been  a slight difference maker for United.
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 09, 2023, 12:03:17 PM
This is a gift for Newcastle, which they simply must use. Bournemouth shouldn't be a big problem for them. I'd bet on 3rd place. Newcastle's victory will only put them on a par with Manchester United, but will they stay there for a long time, because, I'm sure Manchester United will break away from Newcastle in subsequent matches. Even despite the draw in the last match. Or still not. And that's why.

Yeah certainly a gift for Newcastle but Newcastle also have been struggling to score and they also have been dropping points in last few rounds so Newcastle needs someone to score goals for them. Bournemouth is an easy opponent but lately they have been defending well in my opinion so Newcastle needs to put a good attacking plan to find some goals in next fixture.

I feel without Eriksen and Casemiro also will struggle as once again without them it gives their opponent to dominate in the mid and find openings. Good thing they have Sabitzer right now but with Fred and McTominay I feel they will be same back as they used to be when Ole was managing them.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 08, 2023, 05:10:12 PM
Arsenal surprised us all by getting a loss against Everton last week. Despite that dominance of ball possession, they couldn't show it in their defense especially. Everton were able to find quite important chances one of which ended up with a goal. Arsenal were incapable of finishing up their dangerous attacks with a goal also. Therefore they have work to do to repair the current problems. Of course I don't say that one loss would tear them apart. On the contrary, I think Arsenal will stay strong anyway in their upcoming game.

Yeah, that was a surprising one as Everton don't usually a strong display but in last fixture they hold all Arsenal attacks and got themselves a winner also. Arsenal did some mistakes but still they really tested Everton's defence.

By the way, that game is against Brentford in Emirates. Arsenal have been amazing in home games (8W 1D). This should be another addition there as a win.

Arsenal vs Brentford would be a tough one. Brentford are a really strong team and are very sharp in counter-attack. With a possession-based play style Arsenal might face some difficulties facing the likes of Mbeumo, Toney, Da Silva. Thomas Frank also is a very smart coach so this is not an ordinary fixture in my opinion. About the records this are just some no.s and nothing else and anything can happen. Arsenal would be hoping to be back on track but the way I see it Brentford is a difficult hurdle to pass in this upcoming fixture.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 05, 2023, 07:37:54 PM
Yes, I agree with you on Chelsea's dearth of a natural striker. They've had this issue for a long, so it's odd that they haven't solved it yet. It might be difficult to navigate the transfer market, so sometimes you simply have to be patient and wait for the proper player to appear.

To me it seems like they are gonna go with Nkunku as main investment for the striker. They will be in better situation next season according to me. But for this season they need to come up with solution. So far Fofana hasn't been meeting the expectations and hope that it will change after couple of matches.

I consider Harry Kane to be one of the finest attackers in the world, and any team would be lucky to have him. But as you pointed out, it's difficult to forecast where he'll go. Although he may not want to leave Tottenham—his childhood club—a transfer to Manchester City would be too good to pass up. Anyone's guess at this point, but he will always have his ability to score goals with him wherever he goes.

I feel like for Harry Kane its not about money. Its more about money but its more about the club he loves and achievements after that. He has represented a lot for Spurs and they always have believed in him so I don't think he is gonna leave anytime soon. It was close for City at one point but not now.
820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 05, 2023, 07:01:34 PM
[...] the competition in the standings from two to five is even more interesting because of the narrow point difference, anyone can overtake them, except for Arsenal because the difference is 5 points below them.

Arsenal have played one game less so Gunners have chance to extend the lead to 8 points but from now Arsenal needs to make less mistakes and not drop much points as City are very strong team and they can easily close the gap if they start having consistent performance. I am glad that City also dropped points in the same gameweek where we dropped too but this will not keep on happening again so better to perform consistently and avoid dropping points.
