All I have read in this thread leads me to the conclusion: any change in conditions will be bad. Still none knows will the altcrypto's market be here for even several months (so any investor, even miners carry some risk, even email owners are possibly loosing their time and energy for nothing). Also I'm very sad to see so many doublethinking especially these days. Oh yeah we decided, we had a deal.... but wait.... we can earn more...verba volant... let us have democratic procedure to cancel democratic agreement... I'm sick of that.

You know how I know BCNext is not a native English speaker? A native English speaker never would have used the word "forge" positively in connection with currency.
+1000. This is a real problem for anybody learning about NXT for the first time. There is a valid and legitimate use in English for "forger" as being "one who heats and works metal", like a blacksmith. But the FAR MORE COMMON use of "forger" in English is "one who creates fake documents, particularly financial ones". Or he has a very good understanding of english and knows the double-entendre very well. I doubt that any double-entendre has been in anyone's mind.  Is it too late to name the concepts again? These names has been commented earlier, too. Eg. forgery has only negative meanings. The simple mistake of confusing forgery and forging is being made here. Very different. few letter's difference and only in the end ... when new, not-so-familiar-with-the-English-grammar, people are coming to NXT, clear concepts may be safest. If they have heard "forge" and "forgery" in the relationship with fake etc, and then they see NXT docs, where is "forge", then some suspicion may arise. I'm not a native speaker and never had trouble with the forging part. The only thing that bugged me is that you don't forge precious metals. You cold hammer them, mostly or you cast them. :p |

Use the original plan. Changing plans because it went differently than we all expected is a sure fire way of having two month of bickering about the fact that you decided to change the rules before you even got started. Having the meeting with them tomorrow afternoon. Making a kind of presentation to explain Nxt to them and telling them what my expectations are. I will be able to report tomorrow evening. Putting together contracts to be signed in blood at this moment. Counting on you all to sacrifice a goat at around 14:00 my time. I'm not registered there.
Whoever runs the wiki, can you remove the registration requirement? Not possible. We had problems with spammers and people destroying articles and the normal registration requirements were not useful because the wiki wouldn't allow certain links to be included in translated articles. This is the solution that joefox chose which works. It's not perfect, but allows us all to do what needs to be done with minor effort (registering and sending a message to joefox) |

Over a 100 new members on the /r/Nxt subreddit this week and over 19,000 views this month, of which 3500+ uniques. We could still use some more technical people having a look in more often to field some questions. There are users on there that don't visit the forums or this thread. |
