801  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Any Tips for getting a Start with Bitcoins? on: March 20, 2015, 01:46:26 PM
You should work and buy some bitcoin with your salary instead of clicking faucets.
Faucets do not give you lots of btc.

This is good advice now you have been around BItcoin long enough to understand it there is not much need for faucets any more they are however a great learning tool for new comers.

Once you found your way around this forum you could also invest your 0.18 buying a full member account about a month away from senior member and start a signature campaign, you will not make a fortune but you will learn more and you will make that investment back in a few weeks.

Offer your services and if you can offer them for free for the first few times get trust built up and nice reviews,

Good luck and btw always use escrow Wink
802  Economy / Economics / Re: What do you guess about he future of bitcoin? on: March 20, 2015, 01:38:27 PM
In the future the economy in the world will be much more close than we have today, even poor have the chance to invest located not in his own country, wall street recognize the reality and lead people of the whole world make the price of bitcoin sky high and use it to do goods exchange

This is great news then when should we expect the powers that be give over their total control they have over the financial market? The gap between rich and poor will always remain and they will never give up they are hooked on the power and always will be imho.

If wall street brought into bitcoin then yes that is a lot of extra money entering bitcoin and the price would rise but not before a massive crash so they can accumulate more of the supply they will try get most of the supply if they do become interested.

In the end op it will stabilize when we have close to mass adoption for a few years it is still so early and i think the future of bitcoin for those who ride the storms is going to be very bright.
803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust yourself to manage your own private keys? on: March 19, 2015, 11:57:36 PM
The option trusting Bitcoin banks would be suicide i can imagine them now trading away loaning out at interest they will just pick up where the fiat banks left of. The thing it is good to be in full control of your private keys and i believe if you don't hold them then you don't have anything plus you are your own bank like it should be and for you to keep up to date with insuring the security of your computer is up to scratch, it would be easier have someone else hold it but that someone is not insured and until they are i will hold my coins private keys.

806  Economy / Gambling / Re: Has anyone here ever made money gambling with BTC? on: March 19, 2015, 10:41:50 PM
Last night i started with 0.2bitcoin and took that up to 1.1bitcoin i ended up leaving with 0.7bitcoin so that was a good night, do i always win money from gambling aha NOPE but i am probably even and i have fun Smiley

Do others make money from Bitcoin gambling i can safely say sure they do but the main questin is how much do they get back in to wallets they control?

When I speak to other gamblers, I often hear that the real goal is to break even and have fun (not to make money).  Obviously we all want to make money but if we are realistic we can come to terms with the fact that gambling is fun and if you break even then you had fun for free.

Probably because most of the time the gambler who we talk to is down, when i am down that is all i want is to break even then walk away sometimes lady luck gives me a second chance.

Most gambling can be fun as long as you play with what you don't mind losing, when you start playing with more than you can afford to lose it can become heartbreaking as you probably know and people have died from it Sad

any promo for cash game players?

Hi KP,

We have started tournaments with buy ins for cash players. We will also be introducing free rolls for people with certain cash points only, keep an eye out next week for some of these new offers for our cash players!

Regards
Jessica

I like this it is a good idea to reward those who are playing cash games or any game with a higher amount free roll as well as some kind of deposit bonus as this will encourage people to deposit that may not have deposited otherwise. Well done with all prom's so far though you are really looking after your guys...

still getting.....Error during database querry

but with tor i can see it but i cant login.

This is probably because the lack of javascript while using tor which is just an idea, mine is working fine you should probably just not use tor and try log in without it and see how that goes as it is not really needed to be secretive for such a site but obviously it is up to you. Good luck

Thanks for your attention.
813  Economy / Gambling / Re: [WARNING] A personal warning to you all. on: March 19, 2015, 01:36:56 PM
Hi,

I have lost over 300BTC through theft and one 20 minute self destructive gambling spree in the last year or so.

Oh dear wow dude that is on the side extreme gambling most do not gamble nowhere near that, the most i have seen someone post who has lost was 650btc and now another 300btc that is crazy amounts to be putting into gambling sites.

Hope that does not get you to down and you can bounce back, i don't mean play and try and win but move on with your life and forget gambling because the feeling must suck.

Thanks for the warning for myself and others good luck with whatever you choose.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think 1.00 BTC will worth more than $10,000.00 USD at any time in 2015? on: March 19, 2015, 01:24:06 PM
IT's impossible to manipulate bitcoin price becme $10.000 even you have 1 trillion US dollar
Many people keep dump their bitcoin as many as they can Sad

Maybe it can happen if most big companies accept bitcoin

That is a little extreme to say not even a trillion dollars could make the price go to $10,000 because it could quite easily and then beyond that 100's of times Smiley

Is there a trillion dollars someone is going to put into bitcoin? No i doubt it very very much and no op it is not going to happen this year but it might do in the future who knows?

Be happy to see $500 by end of this year.

Oh that's right you helped me, how exactly did you do that? Its still stuck on block about 180,000 no stakes since then and can't send coins so it is broke for me and i don't care i wrote that 0.6btc of as bad spots investment , i never come here chatting crap about that did i not even once lol

Just you and your sly little ways. Thanks for ignoring me that is sweet of you.. PS that was a cool way to give the conversation a 180 this is not about me it is about you and your lies.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ECASH Coin Swap Revival | Pure Proof of Stake | Cloud Staking on: March 18, 2015, 11:24:04 PM
If I sold even a single coin, then how does the trivia bot have the million to give out?

I don't need money. I could delete every crypto wallet on every server I have and still not have to work a day in my life. Do you really think your 12 BTC market cap coin is that appealing for me to dump? I can find more change in my truck than this entire network is worth

Ok i will bite, firstly don't play dumb the coin is 8% staking daily and that was over a week staking 10days since you had them so do the math. Secondly there was more than a million the million was there on the first stake so you would of had another massive stake before you sent them. At a minimum we will say 1.3 million before sending some to bittrex. 1.3 million staking 8% a day at least 2million give or take how much it staked after the first. Anyway i am done with this crap and well done on all your wealth it doesn't mean shit if you are dishonest mate..

Yes that is wise to support the guy who dumps the price down from 1000+ to 70sat Smiley

All because a few people come and tell the truth now if the dev was honest he would have done what he said in the first place and burned the coins but he didn't because he was always going to keep them.
That was always his plan and what a plan it was, pretend you care build trust and buy support then dump your free coins on all them innocent investors who only invested when he announced he would fix it.

Hmmm if he never done that i would not be down i will just delete the wallet.dat rather than sell at this stupid price he created.
So cheers dev you done real good here helping many lose out more than they would before you come along.

The vegas guy thankless bast&%ds aha why would anyone be thankful for him taking a dump on them?

Why the fuck would he burn  the coins, when Spots went through *HELL* for over a week trying like mad NON STOP to get this coin working!!?!? He deserves NOTHING for that?!?! AND putting all his other projects on hold?!?! PLEASE EXPLAIN?!? YOU NEED to read the thread in its entirety! This coins was a disaster from the original dev. If you think that Spots deserves NOTHING, then you do not know the WHOLE story!

Vegas

Feeling a little sleepy with you guys lol the price of the broken coin was 1500+ the price of the supposedly fixed coin is 80 sats "great fix" Smiley I have read enough and i read on multiple times the so called dev say i am doing this for (free) ('i do not want anything') this was a lie he knew that he wanted the staked coins that he would make sure would stake. (THEN) he says he will 'burn' the staked coins but because a couple of his fans get excited and say keep them that is what he does which is unacceptable by anyone's standards. The kicker he then dumps them on you lot well maybe not you because you had been out awhile hadn't you vegas. Btw you do not need to sign a post i see your name.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sick of the confirmation time... on: March 18, 2015, 10:28:00 PM
People who are “sick of the confirmation time” don't understand that you can accept payments with 0 confirmations just fine.

This is not in the ops hand he sounds like the buyer so that would mean contacting the seller and saying look buddy just accept my bitcoin with no confirmations as i am sick of how long it takes to confirm. Not sure the seller will really care if i am honest, what do you think?

That aside it would be much better if more most places could accept with 0 confirms the only one i know is luckybit,  it can be annoying for me as well sometimes 10mins other times near on an hour so yeh op you are not alone.

I resurrecting this topic for tonights champions league games. I had a nice double land last night (ATL Madrid/Arsenal) So looking to roll over the winnings to tonight.

Barcelona -1.5 @ 2.02
Under 2.5 Goals @ 1.83 (Dortmund v Juventus)

I like betting on football i will follow you if this is going to be a longer term tipping thread and see where we go?

Will watch and see how you get on, do you have a fairly high success rate another thread i follow he has over 50 wins and around 15 losses but it is for such low stakes he is not up that much which is a shame.

What will you be betting on Dortmund v Juventus out of curiosity?
