801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 31, 2017, 06:02:49 PM
Yes, we must make them realize what bitcoin is and how bitcoin has given huge returns to its holders in the past.Bitcoin should be explained to retailers that payment through bitcoins is secure and once payment is made, it cannot be reversed.People should be explained that transactions can be made via bitcoins in huge volume to any part of the world with very low transaction fees.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RES] RESPECTONOMY -A Decentralized Social Network - ICO Launching 1st FEB- on: January 31, 2017, 11:31:57 AM
Scam-ish. As an investor, I would want to see every face of the TEAM. Why are they hiding their faces, yet try to get our money?

As an investors, RULE 1, you should

1) know who you are giving your money to, otherwise you are throwing/giving away money
 - Know their faces, and real names...not harry potty crap made up names.
 - this is to hold them accountable, and their reputation in the community.
-otherwise, they can F U and run with your money

RULE 2, ESCROW:

2) no escrow?
-investors, are you ready to give away your money and bend over?
-don't we see alot of scams already? A dear lesson to soon forgotten by many.

The only future ICO I see worth mentioning is Qtum.

 Smiley

 Cool
Its not fair to say a project scam for just promoting another project.Hope, respectonomy team will give a good reply to the accuser by successfully promoting the coin.
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn to trade on: January 31, 2017, 11:22:10 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency. You can either trade in bitcoins against value of US dollars or invest in an altcoin and trade which most of them prefer today. For investing in an altcoin, you can even start trading by investing 0.01 btc.Altcoin trading is highly volatile, but could yield huge profits.Always choose a altcoin which is in the market for atleast 2 years. There is huge pump and dump min altcoins as the marketcap is low. So big whales can easily manipulate the price. Dont get panic in trading as many new traders have lost a lot due to panic selling.Read the ANN thread of altcoin carefully before investing. Know who is its founder, what is its marketcap and then invest.
804  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is everything so silent these days around here? on: January 31, 2017, 11:03:04 AM
with all the volatility in price that we seen in the past couple of weeks it is good to see some silence, but is there any reason for it?
Yes, every one is keenly watching the situation to see what happens after the quick rise and fall of bitcoin price. No one is able to predict whether it will fall or rise.Chinese expect price to fall more and so they are creating rumours about PBOC is going to ban bitcoin. But when the chinese start buying bitcoins, immediately the price would rise crossing even $1100.
805  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think the price of bitcoin will be in 2018 on: January 31, 2017, 10:46:53 AM
As we all know that bitcoin has progressed a lot since it was released and here in 2017 we saw the price of bitcoin was 1000+ USD which is 5x of the price was in 2015.
So what do you think it will be in 2018.
Some experts have said that bitcoin price would reach around $3000 which seems hard to be realistic. But most experts have said bitcoin price would definitely reach $2000 in 2018.Lots of companies are getting ready to adopt bitcoins.Blockchain technology is widely adopted nowadays by banks and even government sectors.More people are becoming familiar with bitcoins and demand for bitcoins is rapidly increasing. So, definitely bitcoin would cross the price range of $2000 by 2018.
806  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't fall for the chinese scammers trying to make you panic sell on: January 31, 2017, 10:35:54 AM
The chinese are using the PBOC as an excuse to crush the price and short and use all the panic sellers on their advantage.

How do we stop them and fuck them up? easy, don't panic sell when they release more PBOC messages. If they see that they can't manipulate the price with those PBOC messages,, they will try to stop shorting and they will start longing pushing the price up.
Exactly.Just turn a deaf year to such rumours.Just hold your bitcoins. I would rather advice you to even buy some more bitcoins as i hope price wouldnot fall below this and would start rising again once the chinese start buying bitcoins in large volume.Even though we know china holds maximum number of bitcoins and a small change in china affects bitcoin market world wide, just analyse any information you get related to bitcoin market in china.By doing so, you could avoid getting panic.
807  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: January 31, 2017, 06:47:08 AM
Even in advanced countries like US, where digital transactions are more, still paper currency exists.
People in most of developing countries even now dont know about credit cards and debit cards.
Digital currencies would reduce the paper currency usage to a considerable amount.
If paper money is used, it is accountable. But when digital transactions are used with digital currencies, there is no need to provide personal details and if altcoins providing anonymity are used for transactions, even transactions could not be traced.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: January 31, 2017, 06:11:23 AM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?
Its always done in altcoins, especially newly released altcoins.Usually dump is done by huge whales to make price fall low and then buy them in bulk.Since altcoin market is small, it can be done easily here. But bitcoin is a huge market with users all over the world. So no one can dump bitcoins. Its highly impossible. But since chinese own large number of bitcoins, they do create an impact on the price of  bitcoin when they sell it in large number at the same time.On january 1st week, we saw the bitcoin price fell down quickly to $750 due to panic selling in china.
809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][RES] RESPECTONOMY -A Decentralized Social Network - ICO Launching 1st FEB- on: January 31, 2017, 05:57:20 AM
That sounds great. A legit coin after a long period of time. Good luck
810  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is better for bitcoin future? Mass adoption or huge price increase? on: January 30, 2017, 06:05:34 AM
Mass adoption is better for bitcoin future. If there is huge increase in price, it will be only helpful for traders. It will not help for bitcoin progress in long run. People and retailers should be made aware of bitcoin and they should be made to adopt bitcoin. It will make bitcoin to spread widely. Moreover, mass adoption would increase the demand for bitcoin, which would inturn increase the price of bitcoin.
811  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Restaurants accepting bitcoin! on: January 30, 2017, 05:58:41 AM
Its great to hear. They have realized the real worth of bitcoins. But, unfortunately, in our country, no such things happen.About 95% of our people dont even know about bitcoins.I think i have to wait for years to taste a cup of coffee in our restaurants using bitcoins.
812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 30, 2017, 05:53:33 AM
Actually, all countries see bitcoin as a challenge to their economy. They fear that illegal transactions would take place via bitcoins. They feel they would not be able to impose tax on bitcoin users. In Bangladesh, even imprisonment is given if people found using bitcoin. In contrast to this, a micro nation called Liberland has announced bitcoin as their national currency.Bitcoin cannot be banned completely.Banning bitcoin means banning internet and its highly impossible.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: January 30, 2017, 05:43:04 AM
Collecting bitcoin is worth. But better do your daily job and continue collecting bitcoin in remaining time.By doing this, your life is secure with job salary and even you can invest some part of your salary in bitcoins.Gradually you would get more bitcoins collected in your wallet and you would feel its original worth in the future when its price goes very high.
814  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: January 30, 2017, 05:22:00 AM
I dont think so. Even at first, china and Russia tried to  ban bitcoin, but when they realized that it could be only be banned if internet is banned, they dropped their idea. Now, they are keenly noticing the progress of bitcoin. In future, they might try to create their own digital currency adopting the techniques of bitcoin.
815  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The reason why people do not get Bitcoin. on: January 30, 2017, 05:17:17 AM
Yes, they are loosing much in their life by staying away from bitcoin. The only thing that would be is either they totally dont know about bitcoin or they know about it a little, but scared of investing in it.For people in second category, they can me made to adopt bitcoin easily. For people of first category, much have to be done.Retailers must be explained about bitcoin and its benefit that once transaction is processed, it cant be refunded. If they start accepting bitcoin payment, we could surely feel the change.
816  Economy / Economics / Re: Make money from money on: January 28, 2017, 01:11:06 PM
Investors should have a thorough knowledge of what is going to invest. They should be patient and not panic like new traders. They should follow the quotes given by famous investors like warren buffet. In places like altcoin trading, they should be able to identify the under valued items and invest in it to gain huge profits.
817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin is not that easy on: January 28, 2017, 01:00:54 PM
Introducing bitcoin is not easy. some think that it is mostly used for money laundering. Some say bitcoin is mainly used for illegal activities like buying drugs, porn related things, etc. It is an accusation always made by the critics of bitcoin.I think they might be the losers of benefits of bitcoins by staying away from bitcoins.
818  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: January 28, 2017, 12:50:12 PM
Yes, bitcoin can overcome paypal. Transaction fees is very less in bitcoin. Merchants would like it much as there is no cash return once payment is made in bitcoin. The  main problem to be solved is transaction time taken which is more nowadays.Block size has to be increased.
819  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to BTC on: January 28, 2017, 12:33:39 PM
Bitcoin is a digital currency. Its price varies with the increase and decrease in demand. So it is volatile and hence investors buy it to gain profits. The best wallet is electrum. It gives you a seed when you create an account and in case if you forget your password or your system gets repaired, you can recover your wallet with that seed.Just note that seed which is a 13 word password in a paper and keep it safely.
820  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: January 24, 2017, 02:00:22 PM
