801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: July 17, 2020, 05:36:18 PM
Anyone here visited the freelancers sites Fiverr creating an ICO is a big money maker there, the cheapest price for an ICO whitepaper fetch around $500 to $1000 they will do a concept based on what you feed them, whitepaper should be created and arranged by the developers themselves and not hire people to do it for you, some cheap developers copy their projects idea to old platforms and whitepaper and this is very rampant just check out the scam section.

I saw that many freelance site has so many project offer that are related in making the whitepaper article and that means there are people are really using this kind of game to make an good profit by hyping crypto investors by showing them a good and very well wrote WP.

As a good Bitcointalk citizen, I would like to help this project to become alive and be on track and bring back it's glorious day in the market. This kind of project needs our support because nowadays a good project is very rare to find.

804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [BTC2] Bitcoin 2, BTC Fork 1:1, PoS 🔥 Anonymous ⚡️Instant TX on: July 17, 2020, 05:08:51 PM
Can you tell me about the time when they can be turned on?

zBTC2 feature will change completely, as will many parts of how masternodes and Swift TX work. These changes are being worked on, and hopefully we can see them in action before the end of the year.

Speaking of zBTC2, if anyone wants to convert their remaining zBTC2 to BTC2, DM me or Hiromono on Discord. It will need to be done before the major upgrades, so if you're reading this and have zBTC2, better do it already.

I think zBTC2 features brings lot of confusion and trouble to btc2 users, I suggest that you totally dismantle this program, I remembered one time my friend tried to explore this features and accidentally sent some of his btc2 tho this features, suddenly up until now he is waiting to retrieve his small btc2 amount that are transferred to zBTC2.

But why DevCoin didn't shows up in CMC? when i search the name ticker of this coin nothing happen, the Deviant coin pops up, I wish the dev team soon relive this project, we need to support this project because i considered it as one of pioneer in alts world.

It's there, but censored:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/devcoin/

Oh i see, i think it is not because it was censored but the market of DevCoin is definitely dead or CMC has no record of trade for this coin for long time ago, But as far as i know if one's coin has no trading volume for long CMC delisted it in their system.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [MASS] Decentralized HARD DRIVE mining cryptocurrency | PoC | Low Energy cost on: July 03, 2020, 09:54:29 AM

809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: July 03, 2020, 12:07:02 AM
as I know that Exchange Binance is a large exchange, has a high trading volume, Binance does not easily accept projects to be registered there either ICO / IEO, the team prioritizes the security of user assets and many other positive things.

That's right Binance has a high value standard in securing their traders interest, that's one of the quality binance offered, they are not after with the listing fee of every ICO/Token and coin, they after with the interest of their traders.

Thank you, do functions SwiftTX and zBTC2 work now?

Those two features need a security update (one that requires the whole network to upgrade), and so they are disabled until such a bigger patch gets released.
Can you tell me about the time when they can be turned on?

One thing i like BTC2 is, the dev working hand and hand to achieve their goal to become btc2 known as one of valuable crypto asset, since 2018 i've been following this thread and i want to see that one day BTC2 placed in top 100 list of crypto in CMC.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance deserves the first Position on CMC on: July 02, 2020, 04:21:50 PM
I've been tried to use other exchange platform like poloniex, kucoin and other trading site, but in fairness to Binance, I have the peace mind using their platform plus the fact that they are always involve in humanitarian mission that why i like binance.

818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: July 01, 2020, 01:56:44 AM
Developers spend money and time to create their own white paper and many scam projects are busted because of creating a face or copying other's whitepapers, serious investors are reading and analyzing whitepaper because from this they can see the potential of the project and the originality of platform, people should always look on the whitepaper, it should be detailed and comprehensive.

Exactly! these people are really scambag and they are using the the people welfare to gain the benefits, they do a littile article editing then they've already created their own ICO token in lessthan 200$ they've made an ICO which is ready to collect money from people.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO WhitePaper Matter Most? on: June 29, 2020, 03:40:27 PM
Most of the people who involve in crypto always looking the source of information in one familiar project, that's why we are so eager to look it in the form that we can understand, now early 2015 ICO has been born and they put the brain of the project on it, Today the whitepaper is just simply to hype people and making us believe on the beauty of their project which is more of the ICO project now failed to perform well.

I just gave you a few extra merits for this because I remember thinking it was extremely funny back when I first saw it way back when. We've come a long way over the last 2 years. Nowadays I only check white papers to see if they've been plagiarized. I don't really care about their actual idea already because everything that can be done under the sun with crypto and the blockchain has already been done. Very rarely am I inspired by new projects these days.

Thank you sir! We both have the same perspective, I also looking for whitepaper for facts and compare it to some legit WP because in Service section some user there offered a article and doing some WP job in just only few dollar of payment, Creating and ICO is an easy job because eth base algo is easy to create even a noob person can do it.
820  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] WhalesHeaven on: June 29, 2020, 03:30:27 PM
Then I did a excellent job on whalesheaven bounty project, I spent few minutes on the project and I saw that it's not worth it, can't even understand the whole idea, I knew something is off, anyways, thanks OP for sharing

We are pioneering a new way to exchange cryptocurrencies. Atomic swaps turned out to be good in theory and bad in practice. We took the idea and implemented that with multisigs.  There are lots of complex cryptographic things that we implement and now have to explain. We know that not everyone can understand right away what is there inside. Hence, we are working on to provide better explanatory materials at the moment.

How about the weekly rewards? I heard that it is not sent

payments for the week one and two were made as stated in the bounty campaign description

Taking a cue from all the analysis of members, this project don't deserve investors trust, why is it that whenever we see something wrong about the project, like copy pasting their whitepaper, these projects always give us a lot of alibis that they overlooked things I'm speaking for all the projects that copy paste their materials and giving bad excuses about their project, before you come out posting and promoting your project, be sure that all things are in order, if you have an intention to scam you will always get caught.

We encourage you to check you facts better. We are not selling tokens. We don't have a white paper. Our FAQ has never contained any plagiarism. The only issue we had with a privacy policy document, which is not something big. www.whalesheaven.com is fully associated with the WHALESHEAVEN OÜ reg.number 14841588 which is incorporated under the Estonian law.

You can never deny the fact that most people here are smart and they've always do their assignment to research and to disprove all of the people and thread that has been posted here that smell fishy, feel sorry for you man your project is now tagged.

I saw a friend on Facebook promoting I urge him to check this thread, and after reading he stop promoting and deleted his posts, if you have knowledge that it's a scam even a small information is just enough for people to dig and developers to answer all issues, I'm thanking people here for continuous battling bad projects in our community.

Whalesheaven team will launch the project even with accusations though. The only that matters now is to spread to the community to never trade on the scam exchange.

The community does a good job in battling the scam projects, however apparently sometimes this battle becomes opinion based. At this point the discussion became rather emotional than factual. We can prove with the facts that whalesheaven project is a legit project. Please read and see what we answered before in this thread. Once again we are fully open to any questions. Please do ask if something is unclear to you instead of jumping right into the conclusions.

Then prove it, we are wacthing in this thread and also with your project, wait for days and you will begin to see that some of ranked account here who are capable of thorough investigation for scam project will soon will see your project. Goodluck!
