Any idea where hashcow.cs is buying Zeitcoin from? I think the important battlefield is mintpal, so I'd prefer to mine at the pool that's moving the ball there.
Cryptsy hardly moved all day, pretty much my buy orders stayed and I picked at the 200 litoshi sell. While also ending up with 1 BTC at 5 sats, sweet as I hope it helped cushion the falls and ran out of LTC pretty much on Cryptsy, price was up so I wanted to wait to get a better deal on LTC to get more Zeit. |

Really appreciate your effort in putting this together. I think a small donation from some of us should be in order. Zeit or BTC .. your choice  I would say that given CoinDevCC and FaSan have been super supportive and we have a great new wallet, only way is up. Has anyone done any comparisons of expected payout between the two multipool setups? I haven't tried mining at the hashcow.cs setup yet, nor have I seen many comments.
I suspect Hashcows pays more often so it depends on the price, while (I hope) Dev snapped up some cheap zeits. Not even bothered, just glad there is action and Zeit Coin is growing. |

I unlocked my wallet do staking, closed my wallet and when I opened it again a few hours later, there was this transaction taking everything in my wallet.
I scanned my pc early this morning, have pc firewall and router firewall. Now I will move all wallets to a standalone machine and stop staking. POS might be a bit risky.
That seriously sucks. Looks like Zeit is a very much in-demand coin for hackers and scumbags to scam & steal. Maybe we can do a whip round and cover some of those, PM me your address, I am well weary about posting my addresses in public. |

The one subject NOT being discussed on the forum is the current 'price' of Zeitcoin  I DO NOT think they are worried by our 'philosophy' - they don't have one (or a conscience!) so they won't/can't/don't recognise it in others. Craptsy and MintDUMP are playing us folks to press the price so much that no one wants to sell and just keep coins on exchange for them wankers to profit 2% a month.Hold your nerve, like you held 6 weeks during the worst time, this is great in comparison. If a wallet holds small blocks that are not competitive once mature, the owner of the wallet has the ability to select the small blocks using coin control and combining them by either sending them to a new wallet or sending them to the same wallet that they are held in at the moment. This is the key, in the "Input", can select smallest blocks and send them all as one chunk, is they are less than say 50-100k, might not get a stake and just wasting time with them. So re-send the ticked small blocks as a big one. Try to keep coins nearing 20 days and then can move or recombine to get new coins. ..Test address - MXeZKcdUPb5m133sC9GKzaGYbZKSTneuc7..

quick question,
am i right, that for PoS minting i only need to have my unlocked wallet open?
because in the minting menu in the qt client the 2 options are greyed out, cant click any of them.
just wanted to ask if this is the normal behaivor
Yep, just open the wallet every day to let it sync and pay out stake if there is one. Depends on how much coin you have in wallet and how old, min 20 days to get stake. "minting" button is for unlocking wallet to allow staking, while actually having an encrypted wallet. Zeitcoin payments from multipool will be coming out today, for those who mine there, thank you for sticking around. I will not be handling the pool past the 22nd of April, and I would also like to let everyone know that I myself am taking 0% of any profits from the pool.
I do have a day job, aside from coin work, as a programmer, so I apologize for this taking as long as it has.

Oh FFS .. 1st MintPal dumped on the walls and refused deposits and now Cryptsy is falling over. On top of all we got pool site down and no real confirmation that any funds are used to buy Zeit.
If I wasn't into Zeit Coin from the starts, I would be rather worried now.
My 0.2 BTC hashed at wafflepool is enough. Will keep 5Mhs rig in case it works out. Now I need to make some money until plans confirmed.

What exactly is the problem? No problem, just coin control to not trade old coins before the stake.
