Hey, any news? For how long already are you earning your living by trading?

Maybe OP earned more than what he or she earned before the resigned from the formal job, but the truth must be said that, the current situation with the price of cryptocurrency now, it will take a good trader to make a reasonable profit at this time. Categorically, i wouldn't encourage OP to focus or channel all his energy on this, as making a living will be more harder than he/she thought.
To quit your good job does not make sense because when you have more than one source then output of your efforts shines. It is super cool when you are not earning good money in your daily job and you quit it for something else. You can have a better future in businesses like crypto trading and its investment regardless of any specific coin, you can also invest in projects especially the newly launched.

Thank you for the comment. I cannot agree with you. The thing is that a full-time trader is the same job which requires lots of efforts. Personally I treat it like my own business. In the same manner, you spend your time working. It can be the analysis of the price charts or your own stats. Making up some algos and adjusting the strategy. This way, when you trade full time you have no distractions. You are focused on your trading aims and, therefore, getting more result.
I am not against trading part time, it is a good option, but in some cases going full-time means multiplying your profits.

Hey, any news? For how long already are you earning your living by trading?

For about a couple of months, was in a trip around Asia, now back to trades

Man, what you've posted looks genious
Personally I was absolutely dissappointed by trading and have no idea how to cover my losses
I cannot recommend anyone to quit the job

Nothing special, just years of practice
What happened? How huge are your losses and did you comply with risk and money management?

I got a margin call a couple of days I opened the deal. Everything was okay, I have 3 years of experience  in trading but that time the emotions took the control of me, leverage multiplied the losses. Now idk what happens, I'm afraid to open new positions and just have no desire to trade, I was like broken that time. I suffered losses before, but now cannot resist that

Yeah, that's all psychology. Looks like you had really serious losses.. Anyway, any loss should be analysed. Once I lost 6 BTC in a ome-minute deal, and since then I became really careful. What helped me psychologically is to decrease the further positions. And then to increase the position if the market is at my side. Sometimes martingale works.. But better on flat market and  definitely with big deposit. Te requires lots of attention, so be careful
Good luck!

Thank you!
May I write you on my case in pm? I'm really in complicated situation

Hey, sure, will try to help
803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: June 06, 2019, 10:26:12 AM
Hey. I'm Mark. Shortly about myself: quit my major job to earn my way by trading and it exceeded my expectations. What I got from it that everything is possible, guys.

Here will be the deals I make, some of the stuff to continue the learning curve and anything I found interesting to share with you.
Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, do your own research, share and earn.

[ 12 years in trading, 4 years in crypto trading ]

Here's one of them:

Each deal is a piece of art

Thanks for sharing your technical analysis and the reason why you quit a job with the community. Do you think technical analyse is enough for trading the crypto markets and is it ok to use painted charts for buying, selling BTC? Which financial markets did you trade before crypto markets?

Thank you. As for thу basis for the desicions to buy-sell, definitely, tech analysis is not enough. The overal market conditions matter, news, even rumors. It depends on the psychology a lot. That is why this thing is rather complex
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: June 06, 2019, 10:09:19 AM
first of all, congratz!

where did you learn trading? I'm somehow interested in it, but more for the fun part as i'm not looking for another job Smiley

Hello! Thanks
I was learning it unitially on my own.. Then got a job related to it, which boost my skills significantly. I do not stop learning, find it to be an endless stuff.
Are you trading for a long time already?

Tried it 2 years ago, lost 500$ in a month but it was fun. Now I'm thinking to drop another k into binance and try again.

Ah you had lots of fun man, how did it happen? What were you trading and how?
Good moment to start again, but with the fixed mistakes better I guess
This is nice. I mean you had been doing a job that you loved to do and this makes it pretty interesting to explore more and more in the field. I have been in gambling thing for the last few months and I have been pretty much enjoying because I had been doing my research in university on Gambling and economy and that was something that engendered to a deep interest in gambling.

That sounds at least interesting. Seems like you have already a solid base for successful trading. Are you planning to treat it as a pert-time job or sth like that?
I started that one day with gambling as well..

BTC, even being consolidated leaves room for profits
That makes me inspired again

Full tie trading a a very stressful work, i tried it for 2 months and i was very always looking at the watch of mine to sell my asset.

Yeah I feel you. That are the first stages. After that you feel more confident and not getting so nervous everytime
Now I have a schedule and a trading plan with all the limits and time spesified

Btw, are you currently combining the major job and trading? Have you been a  full-time trader for a long time?
808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 05, 2019, 04:28:29 PM
Hello! My suggestion is to learn tech analysis properly and to trade well-established BTC and ETH

Spesifically they helped me to quit the job  unlimited profits - here you can see the deals I make and almost each is BTC and ETH

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5146383.0

The major point here is to comply with risk and money management
809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: June 05, 2019, 03:06:23 PM
Of course you can
Personally I use Bitmex
Scalping is a good idea to increase your budget

You can find me also on Twitter and find some deals which may turn out to be useful for you

810  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading for the Inexperienced Traders on: June 05, 2019, 02:57:21 PM
When I started trading, I had no idea on charts and market sentiments but I decided to also benefit from the Pro traders as they move the market.

First of all, note that the market has mainly three sides, bull/green (short or long term), sideways, and bear/red (short or long term).

If you're an inexperienced trader like me, don't look at the sideways and red markets. Always wait for a green market (and it happens at least once every month). During that time, set a little target (say 10%-20%) you can even make more if you follow a good coin. Enter the market and take your profits.

Wait for the next round (probably a month a later)- you can keep your money in a stable coin, and by the end of a year you could make (10-20%)x 12 on your money.

Don't try trading everyday if you're not a PRO, they'll squeeze your money from your hands lol...and also never try catching tops and bottoms of you're not a PRO, they'll squeeze it once again. (remember you may be dealing with bots).

Merry Christmas (if you celebrate) and a Happy New Year to y'all.

Edited: This isn't to say that don't study the market. In fact you'll need to build your knowledge to survive in crypto, especially in these times, but this is a message to newbies who're trying out the market (fact is that, you can study the market as long as you want but if you joke all your money will be drained). Have you ever asked yourself why people in paid groups make the most money from trading, you just can't learn TA and FA lol.... There are PROs and they're moving the market so my trick is to help you also benefit as they move the markets. So that you don't try competing with them coz they can make you REKT, trust me.

Hello! first of all, congrats! You started a really fascinating path. Hope, you are still improving your skills.
I'd suggest you to pay a special attention to risk an money management, as saving what you gained is more difficult than even to earn.
You can visit my page and look throh some deals. Probably they will be useful for you

811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is margin trading worth checking out? on: June 05, 2019, 02:32:00 PM
Definitely, it does. I almost always open the positions with different kinds of leverages
It also helped me to leave the job and get unlimited profits - here you can see the deals I make and almost each is a leveraged one. The major point here is to comply with risk and money management

Sometimes come back to scapling
Btw, an appropriate one to make the deposit much bigger in a matter of hours. Generally, 70% of deals are profitable

Amazing. How much do you make a month?

It depends... In May it was an average profitability... Will share these days

As promised, here are the profits I made during one month
There absolutely no limits in earnings. Just trade, improve and trade again

And then reward yourself spending what you gained

816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: June 04, 2019, 08:55:21 AM
are you sure what you are doing? are you sure that cryptocurrencies can give you profit at any time?
or at least every month like a salary at your real job?
I suggest not to leave your main job and work full time on cryptocurrencies.

Hey. Yeah, that was risky, but I had enough time to evaluate all benefits and drawbacks and currently getting much more profits along with freedom
Definitely, it requires time and experience. I would suggest to quit job in case of being absolutely confident in the strategy and your ability to tackle all the upcoming risks

Those who really have a lot of experience in trading can easily earn in the digital currency market, as they already have certain strategies, discipline and patience, and this is the most important thing in investing!
Even though if you have experience at trading crypto, you might not be able to make good money if the market is not good. I mean that in a bearish market, making high money in trading crypto is not easy at all and even those people who have some good experience need help to get things done. But yeah, there is no reason for you not to trade crypto if you know how to do it.
no matter in bearish or bullish trend , if we see an opportunity to trade we should do this or we will miss it.moreover if we have trading skill and experience , it will be very usefull to us for generate profits.

Agree with this comment. You  can make money on flat and bearish market also. Arbitrage always works, do not forget that

Congratulation, you have done something people are dreaming or planning to do, it's not an easy job to do there are a lot of pitfalls in trading and it takes a lot of patient and time to read the charts and makes profit by doing the right thing, maybe in the future you can write a book about it and share your rewarding experiences.

Thanks!
Yes, simply it is job
What I'm trying to show, that it is possible
Will probably create one more thread here with the deals ans stuff only. Might be useful
