801  Economy / Gambling / Re: Formal request on sport betting on: July 28, 2015, 04:14:26 PM
I dont know but seems like nobody wanna accept my idea of betting on sport entertainment like wrestling.
I know you can't bet on every weeks appointment, but at least the PPV events.
I would be happy to bet for those stuff.

Impossible to offer events which are planned at any high level of money, probably why you dont see it happen much since the upside isnt very high.  If it grows big the people planning the entertainment make easy money.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Litecoin is the new Bitcoin on: July 28, 2015, 04:09:38 PM
Litecoin transaction times are pretty fast and there's still much room to grow, very low market cap compared to Bitcoin and active development.
What do you think?

Its a great back up and currently a clear 2nd in line sure.  I think whats great about it is bitcoin has layed the foundations which LTC could follow much quicker.  Its kinda a will it wont it which is why the price is so wild.
803  Economy / Gambling / Re: What kind of Sports do you bet your BTC on: July 28, 2015, 09:44:08 AM
I like to place bet at soccer events and sometime goes with horse racing but it is just for fun.

placing your bet on horse racing requires analysis and knowledge of each horses history and we are not talking about just 2 horses racing each other. hats off to you sir... cheers

From my understanding horse racing is rigged to fuck also so you have to dodge many bullets and know the game well in that one.  Tennis matches can be rigged at lower level i think.  High profile football games are probably hard to rig.
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why Is There No Bitcoin Slot Machine In Vegas? on: July 28, 2015, 09:25:32 AM
What would be cool is a whole Bitcoin Casino in Vegas! Imagine doing all your gambling and winning all your winnings in bitcoin! Why is this not a thing already?

Its a cool idea, one thing why they haven't done it yet is maybe they feel without actual coins the machines are not so fun.  The sound of the coins pumping out the machine when you win.  Or the feel of the coins when you load up another credit etc.
805  Economy / Gambling / Re: What kind of Sports do you bet your BTC on: July 28, 2015, 09:22:15 AM
I have 3 sports that I usually bet my BTC

not in order

Basketball
MMA
Boxing

Reason why I chose those 3 is because there's a lot of reviews for those kind of sports that can help you decide where to put your BTC

Tennis or Football (soccer).  I find tennis good since there are no draws the odds can swing wildly in live play.  Football is good since i've watched it all my life and understand the teams/players/form.
806  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betting in Sports on: July 28, 2015, 09:17:50 AM
Do you like betting in Sports or Sports trading?

I like watching sports games, and I enjoy betting a small amount on the games I watch. It kind of makes me feel more involved in the games.
I sometimes follow tipsters' picks as well, hoping to get some profit.

If i want to sit down and really enjoy a game i dont like to have a bet on it tbh.  I've found ive bet on a team i didnt want to win many times and ending up cheering for them just to win money.
807  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: July 28, 2015, 09:15:13 AM

Just as another point ebay seems to be losing its grip on the market over the last few months, i dont know if its something to do with google advertising where they get most of their traffic but there are many reports of sellers numbers down.
808  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: OpenBazaar - decentralized eBay on: July 28, 2015, 08:43:23 AM
Videotaping won't help much. If someone can scam, they can fake a video.

fake video are very hard to make and can be easily spotted, unless you can point me a video that was faked and none notice it

also to avoid other type of scamming(escrow corrupted ecc...), they can in theory ask you to sign your msg so at least you can prove to be the owner of that account in the case of account selling for scamming like on bitcointalk

90% users of Bitcointalk.org will more then likely be using OpenBazaar , that's for sure .
So I guess adding a feature on OpenBazaar specially for the bitcoin community (on bitcointal) would be great , it should work like that : While we are doing our profiles it should ask us for our Bitcointalk account username , and so they proove it they should ask us to add a random text on our Signature for a min , once they check it , it's stored on our profile and that's it .
We could leave negative feedback on Bitcointalk also when someone from OpenBazaar have his accounts linked to Bitcointalk.

Its an extra layer of trust and might be a good idea, people can always buy accounts though if they want to pull really big scams.  But yeah it helps.  Same thing would be linking an ebay account in some way.
809  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: July 28, 2015, 08:40:46 AM
Stunna, you mentioned a few weeks ago the 40 BTC wager/win would be re-implemented "soon."  I know for you, soon is anywhere from 2 months to 2 years, so can we get an update on that?

if stunna said soon it will be soon for few years it seems like he do not care about Primedice

I would assume its bankroll dependant and you cant really predict if the site will run close to the EV line of earnings.
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: Bitcoin wealth by region on: July 28, 2015, 08:34:59 AM

This is a cool poll i should imagine the hodlers will be USA, UK & europe. China atm seem to dump more vs hold but will probably help buy up the next bubble when they get back in so its all good.
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would banks take advantage from the blockchain technology? on: July 28, 2015, 08:32:43 AM

Depends if the bank wants to do good and make money or just make money and only adapt when they are forced to.  If you watch the recent live stream of blockchain for social good you can see many ways in which the financial services could change for the better of humanity.
812  Economy / Speculation / Re: $350+ within 2 weeks on: July 27, 2015, 10:02:55 PM
The reason is simple. I will soon have to sell a double digit amount to pay for certain expenses, which I will later have to buy back. Every single time something like this happens the market moves against me. You are welcome.

More than that, check out the 3 day chart on bitcoin and you'll see the classic cup and handle forming.  Maybe it will take just over 2 weeks to play out but expecting us to break $600 someime in next month.

You Sir, made my day.
I see the delusion is still strong in the community.  My job is not done yet.

Never count out the cup and handles  Grin

I dont see why we cant double in price, for crypto thats a walk in the park, LTC just went from $1.5 to $8.8.
813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your first bitcoins came from.. (faucets aside) on: July 27, 2015, 06:09:55 PM
My first bitcoins came from Primedice signature campaign way back September 2014. From then on, I started to buy a little amount of btc every month and I have never failed to do so for the past 10 months.

How'd you get your first bitcoins (faucets aside) and what did you do to them?

Depositing cold hard cash to mtgox and then withdrawing all the bitcoin safely to my wallet.  Only to later on put some bitcoin back in gox before it shut down Sad
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you expect from dice sites? on: July 27, 2015, 06:08:24 PM
Dice site ? ohh I don't play dice. I think it can be adjustable by the owner when you win and when you lose

Yes all these sites are there to make money for them self so definitely all those sites are under site owners control. So it is no way safe to bet on these sites and loose money.

Gambling sites are created to make money for the owners, but they can win it with the house edge legitimately.
Though some sites ended up as a scam, most do not.

They are also created because there is a market for gambling and more specifically this type of gambling.  If people put their attention elsewhere none of the dice sites would exsist.  The guys running them in a legit fashion are just smart entrepreneurs.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people still play dice? on: July 27, 2015, 04:43:12 PM
I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

Yeah i have had quite a bit of fun playing but the fun has only lasted for so long.  Think thats why we see casinos offering many types of games to keep things entertaining for the gamblers.
816  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is wealth boring? on: July 27, 2015, 04:40:57 PM
I mean, if you have a lot of capital, the amount of existential press diminishes, right? So you are fully entitled to sit in a meadow and meditate though the rest of your life. What else would you want to do?

I would open a spiritual newage healing clinic if I wanted to do something more.

Wealth is objectively boring yes, on a subjective view point it is fun for a bit i guess.  Nobody can take money with them though so spiritual life is way more important.
817  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why You Should NEVER Deposit To Primedice on: July 27, 2015, 10:44:22 AM
I think there are alot of these threads, but too many are by butthurt losers. I'm not butthurt, in total, I am 5+ BTC in profit on Primedice, but I still hate it. I think a thread must be made, because many noobies are coming in thinking that Primedice is the best dice site that exists. Here are my reasons why you should NEVER EVER play on Primedice.

1. The MAX button has been proven rigged.

Yes, yes it's true. Not just an accusation. It's been proven rigged after lots of investigation. Are normal rolls rigged? No of course not. But clicking max triggers a code that makes you lose a ridiculous more percentage than normal. If you absolutely insist on playing on Primedice, NEVER click the max button.

2. The admins are corrupt.

There's alot of bad things to say about Stunna, but I will try to make it as short as possible. For one, they will never help you no matter what. All they really care about if your money, not you being happy. They simply cannot manage a website. There is constantly problems and waiting and more problems, without any compensation. Again, they don't care about you being happy. They make tens of BTC a day, hundreds some days, but cannot afford giving out more than 0.001/user in giveaways. By depositing to Primedice, consider your deposit a gift to Stunna.

3. Mods are corrupt.

"Rolling is only half of the fun" they say. On Primedice, rolling is all the fun. The chat is complete garbage. Stunna is never active, meaning he has no idea who to make mod. There have been beggars (steveds, Randall) made mod, scammers (Nil), idiots who are just old users, but don't know how to moderate (TheFrog, LabKitty), and most of all, good mods who are never, ever on chat (Zoltan, Serlite, hui). If you ever choose to open the chat, expect begging, scamming, loan requests, spam, and the worst.

4. Rolls are slow.

This has been a big one lately. Rolls take from 3x up to 10x longer than competing sites. This is due to the large number of bets made per second. It causes server lag, yet admins don't care. There have been numerous requests asking for the servers to be upgraded, but Stunna doesn't care. Especially during autobet is this extremely annoying.

5. Withdrawals aren't always instant.

About 20% of withdrawals aren't instant. There is a glitch in the withdrawal system that doesn't give you your withdrawal right away. It puts a fake tx id in the Transaction Log. You must wait 1 hour+ for your withdrawal to come.

6. Support has been voted the WORST on the Internet.

No point in spamming their bitcointalk thread, they won't respond here either! Primedice was voted to have one of the worst support system's on the entire web! Not only should you wait normally around a week for a reply, but they don't fix anything! If you accidentally deposited to your old account, expect 4-5 exchanges of emails (around a month) to get your account back. People call support a complete JOKE, but again, Stunna doesn't care! He's still making money. If anything goes wrong, don't waste your time and just give up! I'd rather call up Indian support who knows 0% English than deal with Primedice.

Got any other reasons? If this isn't enough, what is? Will you have to hear that Primedice is scamming so you don't play? No, just choose ANY other website to play on. Here is my personal recommendation for alternatives:

http://bitdice.me
http://prcdice.eu
http://dustdice.com
http://safedice.com

Try those instead of Primedice! Feel free to leave comments below about how shitty Primedice has been to you!

I've had no problems myself but i also dont ever gamble or deposit huge amounts i cant afford to lose and put myself under any pressure.  I have found mostly all of my withdraws appart from one to be instant and i assume the time it wasn't was to refill a hot wallet like how any exchange opperates.  The lag can be a bit of a problem i think they are victims of their own success perhaps.
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Mt Gox hackers selling off their $650 million - is that keeping price down? on: July 27, 2015, 10:07:24 AM
Selling them has and will take a while - what will happen to the price when they finish selling them?

I think we are probably past this stage by now dont you think? looks like the market has turned around i also cant imagine that they would sell all the coins, how much money do hackers need in one year to live?
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How greedy you are ? on: July 27, 2015, 10:05:24 AM
I enjoy gambling, mainly in poker and sports bet. To be honest I think these 2 are a different kind of gambling because you can get them to be profitable if you are skilled, so it's not just a matter of luck like pure casino (dice, roulette, etc). You can however lose a lot in any of them, either the pure luck ones, or the ones with skilled involved, if you don't have an objective, and stick to it.

That's what makes you loose money, is the lack or a clear strategy with your limits for losses and profits well determined. So in my opinion is the lack of discipline and bad emotional control that makes you lose money, and not the gambling itself.

u are right, i remember a poker whale who has earned over 800k USD online, he said that gambling the thing which the odds he can control, like poker, sports betting. That's why we can see lots of good players are earning money on poker and sports in long term, very few guys are profitable on casino games in long term.

Well on long term casino its very hard to be profitbale on higher volume betting.  With poker there are many players who have earned over 1 mil maybe the number is several hundred people quite easily.
