801  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: September 02, 2014, 10:26:24 AM
Another 50 or so shares dumped at Havelock. Guess it was the unfulfilled "end of August for divs" suggestion by FC that has pushed more people to sell up.

Hard to know at this stage whether these shares are "cheap as chips" or gradually becoming worthless.

As ever, only FC has the answer .... least I hope he does  Wink

In other words

Keep waiting I guess and hope that the moon comes sooner than later still not a BFL 2 weeks slogan though their is sales and real units moving in the backgrounds, if not the dividends.

803  Other / Politics & Society / Re: USA - Federal study on lesbian obesity costs $3 million on: September 02, 2014, 10:19:46 AM
Because lesbian obesity is a seperate category of normal obesity
Really seems like a complete waste of the taxpayer dollar then again random studies seem to be what the gov is best at lol 1 dataset for everyone to share XD.
In a topic few note lol.
804  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 9 year old girl kills bloke stone dead with full auto machine gun on: September 02, 2014, 10:17:58 AM
Well that was an unfortunate incident
Then again can see a battle about gun control brewing in the background
805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you know that the US is the Second Largest Bitcoin Holder? on: August 30, 2014, 08:42:16 AM
FBI already auctioned off 30k btc. They still have quite the wallet though. And it's quite ironic that btc is decentralized, yet one government has one of the biggest bags.

It's kind of funny since it acts as a leverage mechanism to governments favorably considering it
Since they acquired a stake of that pie from the drug dealers and are willing to resell them lol.
806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: if they kick Russia out of SWIFT... on: August 30, 2014, 08:34:54 AM
If Russia got kicked out of Swift Russia has Webmoney
They have a lot of alternatives unlike Iran so it wouldn't bug them so much they barely tolerate Mastercard  and Visa as it is Smiley
http://rt.com/business/183124-russia-deadline-visa-mastercard/

That said bitcoin is awesome as well.

___

In March, Visa and MasterCard suspended service to a number of Russian banks which fell under US sanctions.

Responding to the move President Vladimir Putin signed a law in May to establish a national payment system.

The law requires foreign payment systems to be charged 25 percent of an average profit on transfers during one calendar day in Russia, to be paid each quarter to the Central Bank.

Soon after the new law was signed, Visa and MasterCard were told to pay deposits amounting to about $3 billion in “security fees”, which could be used to pay fines for the suspension of serving banks.

The payment systems lack some functionality with online trading, but “its share is around 1.5 percent of all transactions,” Moiseev added.

I love Russia sometimes

On the other hand

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebMoney

WebMoney Transfer commonly known as WebMoney is a global settlement system and environment for online business activities, established in 1998. The system claims to have more than 25 million users

WebMoney transactions do not require a credit card or bank account, are final, and cannot be retracted. This is similar to Bitcoin, e-gold and cash and in contrast to credit card.

WebMoney Transfer offers a list of security settings for users to protect their accounts.

##WebMoney isn't integrated into an international financial system. It doesn't accept Western Union or Paypal transfers. There are some third parties offering such services for commission fees.

If this is a legitimate sale would be interested in one of every color as well (except pink since I sense a battle for that one  Grin)
Can we see a picutre of their condition?

But if they were taken by beastly a PM in the future if more of them come to the market would be cool as well wanted to give a few out as well.

809  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 30, 2014, 08:16:02 AM

Someone should set up a AM whining post, where shareholders can complain and bitch about all their problems with AM, then we can ignore the whole post ;-)
6-9 months most of your questions will most probably be decided

Patience is a virtue, alas it is one most people do not have  Grin
I kid in six to nine months I hope that AM is as strong as it was in 2013
Pawning all that is
810  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: August 30, 2014, 08:15:04 AM

I hear Mark Karpeles is offering bitcoin storage solutions but you have to lock your coins in for 2 years and cost of storage is around 75%.  Better to do this then lose 100% via someone hacking you or wallet failure accident.

Nice joke, you forgot to mention that those coins will be held in escrow by governments around the world while a lawsuit and hunt for him occurs in case of any incidents  Wink
811  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney) on: August 30, 2014, 08:12:45 AM
Hal you did so many things and for that you earned my respect
I hope that you rest well and that you are in good company.
812  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: August 25, 2014, 04:36:53 AM

I thought dogie just did miner reviews?  Where are those ads going or how is it being promoted

Why don't you just click on the thread and find out. All the detail is there.

For the lazy people just look here

813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [LTBc] The most profitable alt coin to mine is... on: August 25, 2014, 04:31:53 AM
Yeah, we need LTBc to be listed to another bigger exchange. So far it's still only on melotic.

Good that LTBc finally made it to coinmarketcap.com

That's kind of neat
Since it tracks so many coins hope it does well there aka grow.
814  Economy / Services / Re: Signature 0.1 BTC 50+ posts per month [ANONYMITY.Co.in] on: August 17, 2014, 05:10:23 AM

815  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: i want to give 100 BTC to one user on bitcointalk. tell me why it is U. on: August 17, 2014, 05:06:25 AM
Why is this thread still going, lol? Obviously OP does not have 100 BTC. Sorry to break it to you guys  lol but this thread doesn't need 25 pages.

Haven't you figured it out yet? Only troll threads go on forever. Serious topics are done in 4-5 pages. Really important announcements last 2 pages.

"Let's Count to 21 Million with Images" is over 600 pages long.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=77535.12020

ROFL

Well that and Bitcoin Securities Discussion or Sports ^_^
They can get quite long.
816  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn Bitcoins Simply By Posting on: August 17, 2014, 05:03:44 AM
What exactly is "Final total post count" when collecting payment  Huh

my total posts of all time?

The post your currently on that is 482
Also your starting post for the next campaign assuming you submit is 483
817  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 16, 2014, 12:32:18 AM
ASICMINERTUBE  signature campaign (Thread)
Payment period: Monthly
Minimum posts: 50 post per month
Payments: Senior or Hero Member 0.1BTC & Full Member 0. 05BTC per month

No other advertisement in the signature.

Anyone got any confirmation on this? I'm still not convinced by it. Lots of people seem to have signed up to it already.

Came back Friedcat read my mail and confirmed that it is a sales team account
ESCROW CONFIRMED ^^

OP confirmed being belong to our our sales team.
818  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 15, 2014, 08:42:32 AM
It seems suspicious and a bit silly why Friedcat wouldnt have just created the thread for his campaign given how trustworthy is. You don't just as some random newb to runa campaign for you.

Could be that PR guy he promised lols....
Anyways lets the thread return to normalness while we wait on Friedcat or some other trustworthy person to confirm it.

But it is a bit weird for a sig campaign to link to a forum thread lol.
Then again FC does not have a website so um its plausible ....
819  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 15, 2014, 08:33:45 AM
If it is legit will they need to use escrow still? How reputable is the op of the other thread? Still maybe escrow should be used for the first month for confidence and to build trust.

As legitimate as they get if its Friedcat that made the campaign
Asicminer is one of the key mining sources
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=99497.0

Friedcat is online though (was online he went off 7 mins before I sent the PM)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=49840
So it shouldn't be to long for him to check it maybe tommorrow.

Dogies Guide

PM to Friedcat on it
820  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: August 15, 2014, 08:27:28 AM
I noticed it linked to that thread too and is from a newb. Easiest way to confirm this is to PM the guy who runs the thread he linked to. Are you going to do it EternalWingsofGod?

Didn't PM (Did as well) but also asked in that thread Dogtanian why the boldness  Cheesy
Waiting for a FC post what else can you do if he says its real its real
If he does not its fake in the meantime we wait.

Hmm it links to Friedcats thread
Can Friedcat be the escrow or confirm the campaign its kind of neat ^_^

Also are you the PR manager the Asicminer thread has been looking for aka the marketing guy

Edit: But since you asked I PM'ed Friedcat with a link to that thread.
