801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: December 29, 2015, 04:51:41 PM
Everyone does lose in the long run. The house edge ensures that. On average, with a 1% house edge, you lose 1% of your roll every time. It doesn't sound very daunting now, does it? But statistically, with a 1% house edge, after 100 rolls, you'll lose everything. Now that's daunting.

But gambling is luck. Gambling is chance. You could lose everything in your first 10 rolls! Or maybe not lose everything until your thousandth roll. But it all comes down to one thing - if you don't stop, you'll lose. You'll lose some time. The only matter is when.

Maybe the best idea is to enjoy yourself more and have your money statistically speaking last longer by playing with a lower (sharper?) house edge to bet against. {cough cough} Smiley
802  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Master-P POSSIBLE SCAM. I lost complete faith in this forum now. on: December 29, 2015, 04:32:27 PM
This might help matters a bit.

*The real master P*, if you are the real masterp can you please PM me the email account that is connected to your bank account that I sent money to for the transaction that took place here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1180592)?

Edit; An email from that address might actually be better sent to dogedigital@gmail.com as I don't believe masterp's email address has been compromised.

Sending funds via hack bank account.

How is this done?  I was under the impression that Interac email transfers are irreversible once accepted.  Scary if this is true.

805  Economy / Gambling / Re: ░▒▓ [Back! 2.0 Coming Soon!] SharpDice -- Auto-bot and Moneypot! ░▒▓ on: December 28, 2015, 04:01:47 PM

SharpDice has been up and running for a few days and already has close to 10 Bitcoin wagered since the Moneypot reset!
2.0 is in the oven and should be out fairly soon. A fresh new look, faster bets, and a smoother interface!

To accommodate faster bet integration and better compatibility with the moneypot system for now and onward, 2.0 will be changing to 0.5% floor (similar to SD's system).

It is nice to see Sharpdice coming back finally. You'd better make Sharpdice 2.0 work exceptional great and be worth of the increase on HE lol. Does the increase on HE have anything to do with the big drop in MP's bankroll after the ownership transition, so to have a higher max bet?

I think the site is great no matter what and that the low house edge is just a great bonus.

The change is to allow for better promotions and better servers. Operating at 0.1% was honestly leaving me well in the red with giving over 1 bitcoin in promotions and giveaways and spending over 3 bitcoin in marketing.

V2.0 will be a nice clean site with still one of the lowest (sharpest) house edges out there with fast betting and fun promotions and contests from time to time.
806  Economy / Gambling / Re: ░▒▓ [Back! 2.0 Coming Soon!] SharpDice -- Auto-bot and Moneypot! ░▒▓ on: December 27, 2015, 03:15:42 PM
It is true that your house edge is progressive value from 0.1% to 0.14 on higher bets? This will be short time promotion or you will try to extend it for a longer period of time?
I am not sure if you will profit enough from low House Edge like this, it is amazing though.

For the time being, it is progressive starting from 0.1%.  To accommodate faster bet integration and better compatibility with the moneypot system for now and onward, 2.0 will be changing to 0.5% floor (similar to SD's system).

So now is definitely a smart time to get in those super sharp low house edge bets!

809  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Daanie/Sumerian stole 4.8 Bitcoin by recovering an account that he sold to me on: December 23, 2015, 07:55:15 PM
Was kind of hoping that RedSn0w actually read through it a bit as I DID change the passwords, 2fa, and email information.

Just want to confirm that there is no liability, fault, or blame placed on Redsnow as he merely escrowed for the deal.
810  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Daanie/Sumerian stole 4.8 Bitcoin by recovering an account that he sold to me on: December 23, 2015, 06:30:26 PM
links to PM's won't work so can you get redsn0w come here to confirm that the deal took place?

so you sold it a year ago and he took it back when? do you know how he did it?

I'm pretty sure he's going to disappear so it's not really going to add much.  I'll ask Redsnow to if he can though.

I bought the account in early December of last year.  After I gained posession, a high roller dropped a considerable amount of money playing live blackjack generating ~4.8Bitcoin in commission.  I had 2fa and changed the passwords and emails.  Shortly after I initiated a cashout, I was locked out of the account.  I had originally thought that Bitcasino had taken it from me and I didn't say anything at the time because I was part owner of a skin of their website and didn't want to jeopardize my partners stakes.

Now that he's emerged, it's clear that Daanie/Sumerian had access to the account, probably by email account recovery (even though I changed this) and cleared out the bitcoins.

When a bank closes your account, they do not confiscate your funds.  They give you a bank draft for your balance and tell you to be on your way.  Some banks are hesitant to accept and/or hold accounts that have high traffic transactions in them for fear of money laundering or proceeds of crime.

See topic.

He is also trying to re-sell the account.

Whoa.  I have no idea how I missed this before.

I cut off ties with him after I bought a website from him that he was supposed to manage and write for.  He ended up just copying articles and never returned my bitcoin.

@JackpotRacer

Please be advised that the transition is only happening now.  Ryan is entitled to his own opinion but does not necessarily reflect the opinion of the new moneypot team.

There are ZERO cases of the new moneypot team having preferential treatment.  Please refrain from public outburts that we have no control of.  For assistance and output going forward, please contact one of the members of the moneypot team and we'll gladly hear you out and listen to your requests and/or concerns.
