Any ideas on whats gonna happen next?
The pump took multiple hours so I guess this dump will last for some time too?

Of course. The big guys are unloading slowly...

like this. They are not dumb to dump all the way to $200 in seconds. They are exploiting these greedy fucks that think that they hit the jackpot with these prices.

Call this fat fuck and tell him to bring another $75M, cause the Machine stopped pumping

How pathetic is for a company like coinbase to come with rockets and countdowns. I've seen this sort of news on every pumped and dumped shitcoins created. They knew exactly what they were doing.

Keep buying, cause it looks very "sustainable"

Organic Growth

Why are people so scared of keeping say even a smallish amount like 10 BTC in cold storage & keeping them for a few years?

What's the worst that can happen?

Some of you have no balls.

'Quick let's sell'

We are very sorry for your loss.
808  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2015, 02:22:32 PM
OMFG, they are still buying. You got to be a fucking lunatic to even touch this right now.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2015, 02:19:25 PM
6 AM on West Coast and Marc Andreesseen is drinking his coffee right now

Wait till the rest of the bulls wake up. Then you will see the biggest dump of your life.

McDonalds accepting Bitcoin? lol

From the way they are laughing, it doesn't look like it. Bitcoin was never funny. The only crypto that can create similar reactions would be Dogecoin, but the whole adoption would be unsuccessful, because people in general barely know how to use smartphones and on top of that i'm pretty sure that McDonalds wouldn't advise random people to buy extremely volatile digital currencies just for a fun moment.

Edit: It looks like in the past they accepted monopoly money http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/921604/mcdonalds-accepting-monopoly-money-one-day-only
So there you go. It has to be some stupid shit that normal people could come with and pay for the products.

AAAAAAAAAAND IT'S...

GONE! They deleted the fucking MOON LOL

Prepare for the biggest dump of your pathetic lives.

Realistically I think this rally might end with the coinbase news announcement later today.
Why?

Because

Sell on news. This tactic has been used in every shitcoin i've been through.

credit card and cash are not fun, but they accept it. If BTC looks like serious payment method they won't avoid adding it because it is not fun

Cash is not fun ? What ? Even though Bitcoin has some big advantages over it, i still love the smell of my cash. I take the cash out of my pocket and pay faster than with bitcoin. I love the feeling of cash.

When i have internet money and lose 50% of them, it's like a fucking DREAM. It's like it didn't even happened. I don't feel this way with my cash. When i lose physical cash, i start to suffer. I'm thinking more about it and where things went wrong.

Also, what's wrong with credit cards ? Why are they not fun ? You swipe the stupid thing, enter your pin and there goes the payment. If you want to pay on the internet, you just use an extension like Lastpass and enable autofill forms for the credit card details and purchase in seconds. Anyways, you took what i wrote out of context. Do you really think that those people acted that way because they saw bitcoin as a form of payment ? Please...

Aw c'mon now! No dead cat bounce comments?

From what i see, even the bulls are scared to post rockets and pictures of Bentleys. It's getting too unpredictable...
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2015, 07:44:54 AM
It's fucking ridiculous. It looks very sustainable too. LOL!

If it was a mass adoption situation, then it would have made sense to buy at that ridiculous top... but nah. I'm still staying with my fiat. Congrats for those who made profit, though.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 26, 2015, 06:15:42 AM
it really is an interesting approach. It shifts the curve by pi/2, and normalises (by A) creating a normalised even function.

Sorry, I could not get beyond that.  However,  I found a formula (attributed to Euler) for sin(x) as an infinite product

sin(\pi z) = \pi z \prod_{n=1}^\oo (1 - \frac{z^2}{n^2})

It looks similar enough to your function shifted and scaled as before

f(\pi (z + 1/2)) = A g(z)

where z = x/\pi - 1/2,

A = \prod_{m=1}^\oo \frac{(4m-1)^2}{4m(4m-2)}

and

g(z) = \prod_{m=1}^\oo (1 - \frac{4z^2}{(4m-1)^2})

Maybe you can get some inspiration out of it...

Hahahaha!

I was about to write some random python code in here or something. It looks like a showdown between the biggest douchebags of 2015. Why not get involved ?
