802  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigerians preferred to learn things the harder way. on: October 29, 2023, 09:56:04 PM
Our young people are uninformed of current knowledge that is constantly circulated; they are just concerned about obtaining quick money, which has pushed them to accumulate it through unscrupulous means. They only show concern for projects that are successful; they make no contributions to anything that is growing, preferring to serve as hosts and keep all for themselves. The youths are also done, how can you explain this, a full-grown man continues to depend entirely on gambling to feed, it's ludicrous because this is the modern period and everything is progressing to the next level.
My brother no ves, but I need to just clear this thought about you classifying the whole Nigerian youth on this because I believe Nigerian youth are actually the most industrious and ever thriving set of person in the whole of Africa, I agree that they are some bad eggs but I think this particular view is everywhere all over the world even if it's not gamble related lazy people tend to do what they feel is the easiest and quickest way for them even if it's the most stupid means. .
This op Ia like him no just grap how the average Nigeria the hustle like tomorrow for wherever him settle down. I no sure say any country dey wey the youths the hustle reach the way Nigerian youths the hustle any were them dey just to make sure say everywhere stew for them. If you dey talk about gambling as a yardstick to take judge laziness then bro nah oyinbo man na we for call lazy cos those men gamble pass us imagine place like Las Vegas were gambling shops and casinos be like shops for alaba international market and day and night nah so people the troop in to gamble. We know say no be evrybodi go dey hardworking but for we Naija hardworking people plenty plenty pass lazy ones. Leave am Naija we dey try.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 29, 2023, 09:34:11 PM
What do you think, if I have millions I will be satisfied betting thousands of dollars for fear of addiction that will lead to losing my fortune, but I really don't know if I will reach that level of having millions and still be moderate in gambling.

We can only answer that once we reach that level. For now, our response is based on what we think without the actual experience.

As I said on another thread, gamblers' satisfaction has no limit regardless if they are newbie, casual, or professional whales. .
let's admit it we can't be having millions to our name being so stinky rich and still be playing thousand dollar games it's just not possible to control the financial status influence with our wagering amount as we gamble,. The amount of money we spend in gamble be it within a limit or beyond it represent our financial level as nobody can gamble beyond what he has. We believe that having so much money to gamble gives you higer advantage to win huge money and that's why if you look at the rich gamblers especially in sport betting they don't accumulate odds, they can just pick a single match of 2 odds and bet on it with let say $1M and make profit of $2M easily even though that's not always the case .
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there a formula for Bitcoin starters? on: October 29, 2023, 08:56:37 PM
Starting bitcoin investment can only be challenging when you plan on investing what's beyond your regular income which has the tendency to force you to withdraw or not meet up with your investment plans as initially drafted. Investing in bitcoin is not a competitive thing, you just have to look at your regular monthly income and calculation for yourself the percentage you can be removing from the income monthly to invest without it becoming a load on you. DCA is what we call it and it doesn't matter how much you start with what really matters is how long you planned on with your investment, is it a Long term, medium term or short, and how patient are you ready to be to keep to plans with your investment.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is the cash-out feature only available in sports bets? on: October 28, 2023, 07:43:42 PM
In my opinion using a cash out feature in in-house games can make the process disruptive and disorganized as a result of the shortest instant time these games are programmed to function. Like how do you do a cash out in a game of 2-3 minutes, you won't equally enjoy the game. Anyone that's interested in cash out should go for sports bet we can't have all we want in one piece that's how we just can't have a particular feature in all gambling games.

807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 28, 2023, 01:11:34 PM
The first match of the day will be between Chelsea and Brentford. Chelsea have started to get good results in recent weeks. Last week they drew 2-2 in their match against Arsenal. They have won 7 points from their last 3 Premier League matches. These good results have revived everyone who had given up on Chelsea. On the other hand, Brentford have been getting bad results in the league for a long time. However, last week they beat Burnley 3-0. Both teams have had good results in recent weeks. But Chelsea are the better team and have a better streak. I expect Chelsea to win this match.
Both teams are in fantastic shape, and the Bees are primed to engage on an exhibition versus the Blues at home. Both teams have equivalent endurance, but only the team with an effective winning strategy will be able to secure all three points in the engagements, Chelsea plays Brentford at Stamford Bridge. The game starts is early kick-off, more reason I'm in a hurry to finish up with my schedule activities for the purpose to meet up the game. In today's game, Mauricio Pochettino will face Thomas Frank, with both managers striving solely at triumph.
The first half just ended and the both teams played very well, Brentford played a very defensive game against Chelsea which I think Brentford was tough in the first half which might not be easy for Chelsea to have advantage against Chelsea.  The both teams have chances of scoring goals in this match which can end up with a draw score. Chelsea's performance have really changed,  I can see good improvements from their performance unlike past games in the beginning of the season.
From the very first minutes of the game Chelsea has been in full control possessing the game but wasting chances and since they couldn't break the lock Brentford has found a chance to do just that in the 58th minutes in the second half of the game and for a team with a pretty robust defense like Brentford now leading with. 1 nil it's going to be difficult for Chelsea to win this match with their terrible crossings you can't win a game such poor crosses and passes that can't even get through your opponent in their 18 box yard.

First, I'll blame our society for all these tins that have been happening and which will keep on happening till the society change the mentality and the glory we have endowed on those that have successfully taken up these acts of rituals and frauds. Why everyone is shouting and talking about this very one is because the young man was caught and that's why it looks as if it's happening for the first time while it's been happening but because we didn't catch them and when they come in public with their luxurious cars, accessories and oppression lifestyle we turn out to envy them knowing fully that those things were gotten from a fraudulent and ritualist means but because they were not caught when they were doing it it doesn't matter to us anymore, we don't ask questions about the source of their riches. Any one that attempt to ask is tagged as enemy of progress.

The society is to be blame in all of this, young women have been made to believe that they don't have to hustle for their own money, they now live with self entitlement mentality that another has to work hard for them to eat and live a comfortable lifestyle. The hustling guy on the street is regarded as one with no bright future,  too expectations has been laid on the boy child so now those that have lost their conscience and humanity are now doing the unthinkable to live the rich life as society expects of them. How sad we all know the truth but pretend not to.

810  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 27, 2023, 06:20:14 PM

I expect this thread to be blocked eventually and people can move on, even those who lost money somehow need to find peace and try to recover by themselves. Though, this should not mean we are supposed to forget what happened and let the newbies around here to be ignorant of the history of this casino. Regardless whether 1xbit decides to return or not, it should still appear in our lists and threads about unreliable, shady or scam casinos, for the sake of warning people in the future
I think that locking this thread doesn't solve anything and again the posts in this thread, non is promoting 1xbit or singing their glory. The posts are even more detrimental to their reputation. So, even if people are redirected here, they will understand that the company is a scam company.

I have also noticed that is is quite difficult for moderators to lock ANN threads, I don't actually know their reasons behind that but they do not lock ANN threads easily. This might be, incase 1xbet returns with a new thread, the would be asked to continue in their formee thread.

Sure, this thread is rather detrimental to their reputation and helps to warn other gamblers but I would have guessed mods would eventually lock this thread. I was not aware of their policy on not locking ANNs. Is it a policy which only applies here within the gambling section or also occurs in other parts of this forum?
I would guess they do not want to lock threads (even if there is no official information being posted on them anymore) for the reason you mentioned, to avoid creating a new medium for spam and flooding to appear here and multiple ANNs to exist.
I also believe there was an occasion when there were two 1xbit threads coexisting here at the same time, the mods decided to block the other one and left this untouched.
Yep, somehow this can create spam and repetitve statement about 1xbit but I think it's the best way for us to inform newbies in this forum and other outside this forum, we speaking currently shows that this casino haven't reclaimed their legitimacy and is still inactive not clearing their name. To be honest, accusation in this casino is pretty useless at this point because there's nothing that this forum can so to the victim, this casino won't even budge to nogotiate or reply to those scam accusation,

I just hope one day that this thread will appear on the top of every search engine if someone search 1xbit in the internet, in that way, potential victims might avoid thr disaster of being scammed by this casino.
As a result of the forum not having the power to effect sanctions on 1xbit and it's operations doesn't make accusations towards 1xbit in the forum useless, those accusations serves as a backing evidence to all the comments that have been repeatedly saturated in their ANN by forum members against their scam activities towards their customers. Here in the forum is a loss for 1xbit that they can't get new users to their site from the forum reading all of the alleged accusations unattended to by 1xbit. When people browse the internet on the look out for casinos/sport bet site with scam reputation am sure quite a number of all that have been writing about 1xbit in the forum do surface among others, so at least that's something useful to make mention of.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Flip or Trade? What’s The Bigger Gamble? on: October 27, 2023, 05:30:10 PM
while you may not earn consistent profits over the short term, over the long term the superior traders must win more often than not, this is similar to what happens when a really good team faces a bad one, can the bad team beat the good team any given day? Of course, but if they were to face each other a lot of times then the good team will beat the bad one most of the time.

because the bad team mostly think like this:
if they face losses between some wins and lose in something like 2 trades consistently, which causes them to increase leverage take high risk to quickly recover that loss in short time.
Most traders don't have enough patience to wait and recover lost amount slowly, they try to recover loses in one trade and eventually following this pattern they lose more and more in the end.
When we are chasing loses, there is bigger chances of us losing more because emotions will always drive us to do somethings we are not supposed to do on an ordinary level. Gambling and trading are almost alike when we look at the patterns and how easy people quickly fall and become victims of bad day when they chase there loses. If we can uphold ourselves and make trading plans with discipline, we might not become a victim of unnecessary loses because we will want to stick to our trading plans.  Whether we are gamblers or traders we need to do what we ought to do to maintain high winning rate.
There's much difference in the two just that the similarity gambling and trading shares is in the risk-taking and they both doesn't approve of emotions while taking action towards it. Emotions can make you make mistakes that ordinarily with a standstill and calm mind you won't dare to make when executing either of them.

When playing casinos games like slot machine games you realize that it's not same way you engage in it that you do with trading. Slot machine games doesn't require you to be equipped with master skills and strategies but good luck for you to win or have streaks of winnings but with trading you need all the necessary skills and strategies to put you ahead of the market else you are definitely with no winning chance. And that's the big difference between gambling and trading when we take the risk and emotional aspect from it.
812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling industry is using big tobaccos playbook on: October 27, 2023, 11:42:27 AM
Gambling is not harmful just in the way the article is ascribing it to be in the society it's rather the abuse of gambling that's harmful just like any other substances or indulgence like pornography (leading to increase in masturbation by young people), frequent and  high consumption of alcohol causing liver and kidneys damage and other  violence vices. The reality is that the excessive use of anything is sure to result in a horrible and shocking consequence and gambling abuse isn't an exception. There are gamblers who are happily gambling living a normal useful life all because they choosed to gamble responsibility and for the fact that some sets of persons ignored the ethics to staying responsible doesn't actually make gambling an evil or bad activity to partake in.
813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 27, 2023, 10:27:39 AM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.
OP you are right every gambler should look at gambling platforms as entertainment. People who do not see this gambling platform as entertainment get addicted to this gambling platform very quickly. We who are associated with this gambling platform do not consider this gambling platform as entertainment and therefore use it as a means of earning. I can definitely say that every gambler first takes it as entertainment but later chooses it as a means of earning. However if every gambler accepts gambling platform as entertainment then they can continue their life pretty smoothly otherwise they can destroy their life at any moment from this gambling platform.

Gamblers probably know such things, it's impossible that they don't know that, instead the majority just don't want to think like that. Then let's admit that even those of us who think of doing this just as entertainment, there are still times when we think that we might win when we play.

And when we experience a win, it brings a different feeling to us as if every time we play we will get a profit from it. The important thing is that we can still control it.
There are times my hopes are high to get a win irrespective of my taking the earning aide of it as secondary (not compulsory) on the grounds that my resolve is that am gambling for the  fun and entertainment that is embedded in the activity but as humans been involved in an activity that money is involved that by chance/luck you can win an amount that can change your life, that inclination to earn from it will randomly offset at some point but it's left for the gambler who have accepted it to be a funfair activity to regularly remind himself that gambling isn't a source of making money so not to get addicted at it.

What is the most weird thing you bought with crypto?
if I was to buy a weird object or thing with my bitcoin it would be a cat. That's sounds weird, right? But unfortunately the possibility is not in view right now as there are no stores in my locality that accepts bitcoin for exchange of goods and services and this is due to the government restrictive measures. Cheers to the future maybe by then the restrictions must have been lifted and my bitcoin would have gained much more profitable value for me that I might not be thinking of getting a cat with a part of it anymore but something not really weird like a storey building with a pool and gym , that sounds like a retirement plan, right.

816  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports bets or in-house games, which is best for the weekend. on: October 26, 2023, 07:39:56 PM
Sport bets vs in-house games which is most enjoyable and has a higher tendency of bringing much winning compared to it possibility of losing?
For the kind of entertainment and fun you're looking out to derive you can only get it from an in-house game the fun there is accompanied with a different flavour of its own that you can get from playing sports bet. With the in-house you will be meeting with neighborhood friends and acquaintance and even strangers where you'll have random talks while you all gamble with a bottle of beer at had to escort the fun along. In-house will be highly enjoyable but I'm terms of the tendency of bringing much win I doubt you gonna get that because it's mostly not done on skill but luck unlike sport betting that a little knowledge about your team you're betting on is an added advantage for you to have a possible win

With the recent 35k surge that occurred days ago people's optimism towards the price of bitcoin is high and kicking with hopes for a favourable end of year 2023 for bitcoin price. And I am one of those optimists with all the issues rally round bitcoin ranging from the bitcoin spot ETF approval expectation, the halving and all of those dramas has influence bitcoin price in the positive direction in the past few months. So this remaining montha of the year won't be a bad one for bitcoin though I don't have specific figures but am optimistic it won't go below 35k by the end of the year.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Gambling Generally An Illicit Activity? on: October 26, 2023, 04:06:24 PM
what I can say about people living in those countries that gambling is prohibited by the law as illegal they should as well avoid gambling while they're still there, they can always gamble when they get to another state or country where gambling is allowed to exist. I understand it won't be that easy to avoid particularly for an activity you feel entertained with but as to stay away from trouble.
But even so, there are still those in countries where gambling is prohibited who force themselves to gamble and use many methods to keep gambling. These people seem to have experienced the pleasures of gambling so when they see gambling was banned in their country, they lost something. They will try to gamble again so they can feel the pleasure.

But it's better if they don't try to gamble if the state prohibits it. It will keep them out of trouble, especially when there are checks from the government. So whether gambling is an illicit activity or not depends on the country.
hmm there are stubborn people who will always want to outsmart the laws that not in their favour of which I am no support of rule breaking but if they deem fit that it's worth to risk it by gambling still despite the laws in place and are able to conceal it through any method, no problem. Nevertheless, the law has its way of catching up with those persons that thinks they are too smart.

Recently, online gambling has now turned to a route through which drug barons, traffickers, corrupt politicians etc conceal and launder money to hide from being caught it is for this argumentation that governments of some countries place a ban on gambling within their jurisdiction. However, for the revenue the gambling generates to government some countries decides to regulate and monitor it's activities and operation while they pay tax to government.
In the end, the state needs taxes from the gambling industry even though they know there are illegal activities carried out in the gambling industry. And money launderers can continue to use gambling as a place to launder money. And even though they have to pay the taxes, that's nothing for the money launderers. After all, they have a lot of money.
There are states that heavily depends  on gambling taxes to meet up with its annual budgets so even with the laundering racketeering happening within the gambling industry which   they are in tone with they (government) are left with no choice but to let the gambling companies exist and operate because a ban on gambling activities would mean a stop to their taxes they get.
819  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Access bank hack: 500 USDT traders on Binance exchange bank accounts frozen on: October 25, 2023, 10:07:42 PM
2. Backwardness of our country in terms of blockchain education because no information from Accessbank whether dem contact Binance exchange to see if the USDT dey there so that Binance go freeze am.

I doubt if the hacker go dey that stupid to leave the USDT on Binance exchange. After buying USDT from the traders, it's either him send am to him personal wallet or buy Bitcoin with it. If him send the USDT to him personal wallet, access bank go fit contact Tether to freeze the funds, but if him buy Bitcoin, dem no go fit really do anything than to the monitor the address. If him buy Bitcoin and send am to a mixer, the fund is gone forever. On a second thought, I come dey reason why the hacker buy USDT at the first place when him supposed buy Bitcoin and mix am. E fit be say the hacker don jonse and na something wey Access bank supposed capitalize on, instead dem dey busy dey chase and freeze innocent traders accounts upandan.

https://news.bitcoin.com/nigerian-bank-reportedly-freezes-accounts-belonging-to-500-usdt-traders/
it's as simple as this, Access bank not that they don't know the right thing to do to get back their hacked funds but because they feel following the right procedures would cost them time and energy so they go for the weaker bait to use them as scapegoat in the case.

It is a prominent attitude among Nigerians and it's institutions in always looking for victims that would pay for nothing they know about just to make a case stand when there's supposed to be none.  As a financial institution binance will be very happy to work with them in capturing the hacker with is binance account get his funds freezed and forfeited but unfortunately this is Nigeria.

This is a casino company that's just recovering from a hack that threatened it's customers base and now this just for what because I don't understand why people would risk doing this never thinking about the following consequence of their action in the eyes of the law. Can't imagine what the stakes community are going through right now after seeing this barbaric propaganda one that's life threatening.
