Omor no be small, as I see sef I just dey get joy. Normally before the halving sef the price of Bitcoin go dey go up before we go come enter the main bull run, see as almost all the coins for market just dey go follow their leader. This one na just to still prove say na Bitcoin be the baba of all coins for inside the crypto network. It's now time for us to sit back and watch the market happily while our portfolio strat to experience enough profit from Bitcoin. Bitcoin naim be the only coin wey I dey hold and I like am like that because of risk telorance and volatility of the coin.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: January 02, 2024, 11:39:35 AM
It is true that investing in meme coins require doing a lot of research to find ones that might be successful. But it is important to know that meme coins can change a lot in value and are affected by what is popular in the market and on social media.
Investing in meme coins can be risky because they dont have a clear purpose or direction. Some meme coins are even made as jokes or scams. If you invest in these coins without doing research you may end up with regretting it and losing money. So always be careful while investing in any meme coin. Or if you want to invest so you should invest those money which you can afford easily.

Exactly, that's my point. Meme coins, despite their profit returns which is a bit great as investors who find them quickly before they start trending can give a 10x to 100x profit but the risk in adopting one is just too much. I have heard about some person talking about investing thousand of dollar in meme projects, but I tell you this. If peradventure the coin turns out to be a scam project, then the investor has lost some thousands of dollar. If you which to become a good meme coin investor then you'll have to do lots of research. But comparing this with Bitcoin, bit has been offering profits for a very long time, and there is very little  or no probability that it's going to just stop like meme coins in the future. However to be on the safer side it's better to just use the money for meme coin investment to invest in bitcoin.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 31, 2023, 08:41:21 PM

I agree that there may be many scam projects but again that does not mean that all of them are bad ones. There are some good projects too and if anyone does not believe in the new startups, better wait for them to mature or invest only in the projects that have already established a name.

To further secure your investment, it is better to invest in projects that have already a high market cap and investing in the top 20 or even top 50 coins at coinmarketcap can minimize your risks to a great extent.

Indeed there are some legit coins out there that are worth investing in aside from Bitcoin. But the simple truth is, I don't do altcoins because it seems I bit too risky. Just like the trending altcoin now which is meme coin, you just have to become a trader for you to have profit from it. Though there are several altcoins out there that that can be used for long term investment, but base on trend, we just have to become short term investors to profit from them. I know we are not being forced to adopt any coin so fuck altcoins.
804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find new meme coins early? on: December 31, 2023, 05:01:42 PM
Therefore, being the first person to enter memecoin before the hype will be very profitable, but indeed this will be very dangerous, losing everything or making a profit from the first hype that occurs. there will be no second or third hype, if you have FOMO then just sell. Instant profits will be obtained easily for those who are early.

This is the more reason why I don't even mind investing in altcoins especially meme coin. For you to even a good meme coin that pays off requires enough research and  study. If not you'll just invest when the market has started returning back. However meme coins don last in the market for long before they are term unworthy for investment. The idea of being the first person to enter into holding of any meme coin before it is launched is almost impossible and very risky. Because most of this coins don't even have any direction they are going, some were just created for fun sake while some for scam purpose, so if you hurriedly bough a scam project just because you want some gain then you'll be dealing with regrets later.

806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 31, 2023, 06:18:42 AM
If you play luck-based gambling, you really need luck so if you want to win, you must have luck. We also don't know when luck will come, so we can only hope that when we gamble, luck will come and help us get a big multiplier to win a lot of money. That's why we can only enjoy gambling as entertainment and don't need to pin too high hopes on gambling to make money. If we want to make money, we better look for a more promising job to make money.
I knew friends who set themselves the goal of living on the money they receive from gambling. How do you think this all ended? Right. Only big debts and nothing more. What guided them when making this decision? I still don't understand. Did they really not have specific examples to draw appropriate conclusions? Still, people must have brains, right? This is all somehow sad. This is such stupidity on their part, as it turns out.

It is possible that after everything they have reconsidered their plans for this process and will never act so naively. Yes, this was all a great lesson for them.

What's the most interesting? I could say about them that luck really was always with them, but somehow it didn’t help, but on the contrary.

We shouldn't see gambling as a form of making money for survival, if not we'll just keep our expectation where we'll have continuous regrets. Gambling is more about luck, the only time you use you knowledge to make predictions, you can still end up Lossing the bet. So the probability of winning a bet is very minimal compare to when you look for a job or something doing that might give you actual money rather than keeping your money flow on probability and luck.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The frustrations in loosing a huge bet when your winning was so assured. on: December 31, 2023, 06:08:23 AM
That feeling is just one of the major reasons we have so many person with the hope of making huge wins, since they had the opportunity to being close to a win they think their luck is getting closer. This mostly happens in sport betting, most times we even see an extremely low odd of about 1.0 making a drastic loss. This loss is just so annoying and the hatred you have concerning the club who had the loss becomes even more increased. The entire day you feel like quiting gambling especially when you have had a couple of loss that period.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: December 31, 2023, 05:57:45 AM
This is why you are being told that some persons play for fun. When  you understand yourself first, you'll know what you are capable at and the best thing is to work towards your emotions. So you'll not gamble because your chasing your loss. Though I have seen some persons who gamble to gain back what they have lost, but the truth is, they are just trying to become addicted and then become very irresponsible in their gambling. Because irresponsible gambling is also fueled by chasing losses. But when you play for fun, even after experiencing some loss you still keep playing because the money you used was extremely small and you can afford to loss it without any financial troubles.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Answer this Gambling Question on Duration of Joy after a win or loss on: December 31, 2023, 05:48:56 AM
No one enjoys losing in gambling.Losing brings our hopes down, it ushers in emotional pain and grumpiness whereas, winning elevates our mood, bringing happiness and excitement. There are games where I have won and after withdrawing my winnings, I am so happy that I give gifted some of it to people around me. This doesn't last for long once the it is out of my hand and minds. I am curious, how long does this joy last after a win or a loss—does it linger until your next bet, lasting the whole day, just 20 minutes, or perhaps 2 hours?

This is the more reason why, you have to calculate yourself first before gambling. When gambling you don't use money that was supposed to be used for something else to gamble. If not, you'll just give yourself a heart attack one day and that's the end. That is why we are advised to keep money separately for gambling purpose so we'll not mess around with our finance anyhow. With my observation, joy tend to last less than losses. When we experience loss our emotion and mood just changes and most times it can be very obvious that someone who have not known you before, can tell that you're not Happy.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 31, 2023, 05:39:54 AM

You are right that it is very inappropriate to blame other people for failure in gambling, after all, blaming other people will still make someone disappointed about the failure because certain amount of money was lost.
Every gambler must be able to accept loss, must be prepared for risk and must be able to understand the consequences of gambling because whatever happens, only he himself will feel it, not anyone else.

For those married couples who win and have passion for gambling, they can understand and complement each other if something bad happens and of course regret will remain because they are family, they need more money for their family.
I know that if you can still manage time well then gambling activities will never bring ruin to family, but if that happens then they both have to be able to find good solution and reduce the intensity of their gambling as much as possible.
It all depends on how they have boundaries, have management and manage their finances and time as well as possible, if this is done then the problems that occur may not be so complicated.

Well, that what is called managing finances and time.
Indeed, those who do not like gambling do not mean they will be free from problems and difficulties, but for those whose families like gambling and cannot manage their money or time well, problems will arise more often and of course it will be much more difficult.

I believe on of the reasons gambling was set to be played by those in the age of 18 and above, is because of responsibility. So it is believe that at that age range, you are responsible for your own actions, so blaming other people for your losses in gambling look childish. We are all responsible for our actions as adults.

I think in a family settings like that, the both couple should create our time and discipline so that, gambling would affect their home. Mostly we find the males more in  gambling so, the wife could just back down for the husband to continue, that is if he still wants to. We have seen the worse a man can do in gambling but we haven't seen how irresponsible a female can become in gambling so it better to take the notion which says, the devil you know is better than the angel you don't know.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to be cautious: Everyone is not market expert on: December 31, 2023, 05:25:31 AM
This is the more reason why we shouldn't trust anything we hear or see from the media. The world entirely if full or good and evil and there are lots of wolves in sheep clothing, inside the altcoins we hear and see, there are lots of scam project inside. So no matter the reputation of the person doing the ads the project can sill be a scam project. Some weeks back I saw a post in this board talking about Ronaldo being charged that he will pay  a huge some of money just for doing ads on the wrong NFT. But when you do your own research, you stand a better chance of identifying a scam project.

813  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Help someone in the year 2024 on: December 31, 2023, 05:01:21 AM
In actuality, you can't help or even vouch for everyone all you can do is your best, and I'm convinced that any sensible person will accept any favor without taking offense after all, many individuals enjoy taking advantage of others. Rich people will always lend a helping hand to those in their immediate family, and most of them won't want to make the announcement because doing so will draw attention from other people. They Always give an explanation for their actions. And most times people they love to render help to the most in their relatives and it might just be that they want to reduce the poverty in their family. I don't see the relevance of helping someone and then showing it off. Does not make any sense to me because it might even make the person feel bad.

Apart from say showing off fit make the person wey you help feel bad, e fit still put you for place wey you go dey in danger. I no see any benefits of showing off say you help person, the only thing wey the person fit get na pride, and people wey get pride many of them dey fall like ogbonor. So pride sef no even good for us. Even the bible sef talk am say if we dey do our alms for our right hand say make our left hand nor know. Meaning if we dey do good to Mr A make Mr B no know.some person sef na because of their character naim make people no dey help Dem, after you tell Dem to keep am on a low, e go just be like say dem they use tv broadcast take they advertise the good wey you do, and that thing no too good.
814  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Board selection as a newbie on: December 31, 2023, 04:52:09 AM

815  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: As e be say theymos don ban mixers make we follow instructions on: December 31, 2023, 04:46:20 AM
I reminder na better one, the mixers ban na very tragic change wey sup for this forum but, if we look well na just for the continuous running of this forum, just like the op talk, e better make Dem remove this mixers than make the entire forum shutdown. So abeg to all those people wey dey mixers signature campaigns, make una do pull una signature commot for body so that we no go hear say one of our own go chop red tag because of disobedience. If that kind thing happen, e no go tell good on us, outsiders go dey us like people wey like to disobey orders, and that one sef fit make baba Theymos delay for the things wey we dey ask am.
816  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Just think of holding and not the high transaction fees. on: December 31, 2023, 04:36:49 AM
Op no be small motivation you don drop for here oo, this one dey very good for our mental now, because only that transaction fee sef na enough reason for all those people wey dey trade not to even buy bitcoin again. Because Dem go dey fear say the fee too much.  I just dey see some persons wey dey talk say the fee no high, how? Abi na the first time wey you dey use Bitcoin be this? Because I no sure say u been don dey use Bitcoin before the this mempool congestion. Something wey shake everywhere naim you dey here dey say make we go check other crypto or altcoin transaction fee. Bro this thing touch everybody forget say we still dem still dey do transactions, you no wattin dey for their mind.
817  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wrong Speculation Of Society On Bitcoin And Online Operator on: December 31, 2023, 04:24:46 AM
Na true say Bitcoin naim be the only genuine crypto as I see. Some person Dem know this fact but just because of argument sake dem go just b have like say dem no know wattin you dey talk. Op i Like as you structure this your post, plenty person don get that mentality say, as long as you dey hold phone frequently or dey with laptop and a regular, e mean say you dey bumb or do illegal things online. Our government is a failed project so any body wey dey go depend on our government na just gambler fo this kind time. They are just selfish pricks, anyway let's just keep spectating to see the change new government will bring to this country.
818  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: How Does Bitcoin information help your present situation? on: December 31, 2023, 04:11:14 AM
You are very correct about that. Saving money in bitcoin is the fastest way of reducing inflation. For example now if your sister or brother in  abroad want to send you money to use for any project, you can tell h/her to send through crypto(bitcon) and if you allow it to rise befor the proposed date it will, it will yeald more growth and facilitate the project. Although it can be possible if there is high volatility.

Indeed crypto can help reduce inflation, infact it's one of the major solutions to inflation. This is the more reason why we need to adopt crypto as a country and not just individually. Assuming we become like El Salvador who's bitcoin for almost all their transactions, I bet you out economy will experience a shift in growth. However with what you explained, I will also want you to know that, while considering the positive part we should also have the negative part ringing in our heads. The high volatility you mentioned can also bring forth loss.
819  Local / Off-topic (Naija) / Re: Agboro and masquerade on: December 31, 2023, 03:57:17 AM
E nor get anything  wey person nor dey see for this country sef? I no blame anybody, after all the country hard, so people dey try to improvise so that Dem go fit make a living, but how person go come carry masquerade as work for this country sef, by right na for cultural festival periods naim we dey see masquerade wey go come play and do their things, but na the first time I dey hear say for season like this wey na father Christmas dey rain say masquerade sef don dey do their own.
820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from crypto influencers on: December 30, 2023, 08:32:19 PM
I love this topic so much, because influencer are just one of the major causes of newbies into the crypto network losses. To my knowledge, those who follow after the advise of influencers in regards to buying or selling of any coin without their own proper research,is just a newbie trader. Because I don't see any season for letting another man's idea affect you decision when you can make yours. However coins that were advertised by influencer can still turn out to be scam project, so let's stay on guard and do your own research for better clarification.
