801  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: July 05, 2021, 01:51:38 PM

If you would be fear to take risks and settle for playing safe you will going to miss million of cahnces to change the way you live your life today. It is true that in life there are many risks that whether we like it or not we should try it for us to learn and to grow but honestly speaking we as individual have our own choices and own decisions in life. And honestly speaking there are many who would rather choosing to play safe than taking risks and I think that is the thing that I couldn't settle of, I mean I am a risk taker.

The concept about take a risk with money is an usual thing that everyone passed. Money is one thing which is precious for everybody meanwhile risk is something that everyone avoid. If these two things are combined, it is something beyond so it is only natural that people who are beyond will get value that exceeds the others.  Are you part of beyond or just someone who feels safe in their comfort zone?
802  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic was just a start of chaos, wars, or becoming zombies! on: July 04, 2021, 05:09:27 PM
Despite speculation, there are many people who think so.  Moreover, the country I live in is currently buying vaccines and saving the economy by borrowing from other countries.  In fact, the funds owed have a high potential for corruption, let alone to the regions.  People's money is held for several months to be deposited in order to get high interest.  Communities do not get any results from debt other than colonization of poverty that is increasingly maintained.
803  Economy / Economics / Re: George Soros and Bezos have paid almost zero taxes on: July 04, 2021, 04:12:44 PM

It's shady no matter how it may sound because it only looks like they are looking for a way to avoid paying the tax. Foundation had been the way to be doing this by the big corporations. This is just for the press to show the people like they are giving back the achievement they got through the people, helping the cancer patients, the poor by the charity works but in reality, they are just as crooks as robbers. They could have just told the truth like Trump who actually admits to doing it at least we know he isn't a bad liar.

I also see the same thing, they are just doing everything they can to avoid being taxed by opening their own foundation.  By transferring the money they have to the foundation it will not be taxed.  This is what is often found in many countries, large companies with a view of caring for the environment open foundations to avoid their taxes. Cover their bad work by opening a foundation.  Isn't this a very interesting idea for companies to do on their tax deductions.
804  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid virus 2021 on: July 04, 2021, 03:00:36 PM
That's because Pfizer vaccine is an mRNA vaccine that works differently with other vaccines. They instruct the cells to create a spike immune response to prevent the virus from latching on the cells. Antibodies aren't produced by vaccines, they are produced by the host and they will only be produced for a specific one if a specific virus have been introduced to the body albeit in a weak state.

There was a recent study with the AstraZeneca vaccine as well and it has been confirmed that this vaccine also shows a lower efficacy against the Delta strain. The most worrying aspect is that one dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine doesn't offer much protection against the mutant strain and this is going to create issues in countries such as India, which has relied on single dose regimen due to the shortage of vaccines. Double dose vaccination is going to take time and the mutant strain can cause a lot of damage by then.
Those new strains really have the potential to derail the efforts that countries are making to try to vaccinate the population, if one of those strains mutates to the point no vaccine has any effect on them then we would go back to square one and we will have to face a lockdown once again and this time around it is going to be difficult to imagine that people are going to comply that easily as people are desperate because they need to work and also because they are tired of being socially isolated.

This condition is indeed very tiring, the new strain that appears is very disturbing.  However, it seems that not all people are aware or think that it is just a fabrication and fraud.  It is not my capacity to describe it but many people believe this is just a form of world conspiracy to weaken other countries and become the supreme ruler over all countries with their economic level. My country has also started to lock down in several cities.  This greatly affects the economy of the city which is locked down.
805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 04, 2021, 01:04:25 PM
Just woke up and saw the Semi - finalist line up as

Who do you think is favorite now to win the title ?

The second pair of teams makes me very happy. I will be rooting for Denmark, but even if England make it to the final it will also be a good outcome as England deserves some achievement in such a long number of years. It would be especially good if the teams from the first pair exhausted each other and in the final the winner of the England - Denmark pair became the champion.

It seems that even though England can beat Denmark, it won't be easy in the final because England have to meet Italy or Spain.  I beat Italy in the match against Spain but did not rule out Spain who would win it.  Both teams did very well in executing the game, they deserved to get into the top 4. Kane' team has good performance and they should keep their performance to final.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: July 03, 2021, 05:55:30 PM
I predict who will win at this Euro is Spain with various considerations.  However, this is not an easy job because after Switzerland, Spain will meet Italy.  Italy is not an easy opponent to beat.  However, Spain's determination to become champion is its toughness against Italy in the match later, although many support Italy to win, my point of view is slightly different.
807  Economy / Economics / Re: Founders of South African Bitcoin exchange disappear after $3.6 billion 'hack' on: July 03, 2021, 03:41:55 PM
I don't think that these two will ever return to South Africa. The advantage with UK is that it never deports criminals, if they can prove that their life is in danger if deported. In the past, foreign pedophiles and rapists have managed to overturn their deportations, by arguing that they may face physical harm if sent back. And for the financial criminals, it is even easier. London is being regarded as the hub of white collar criminals. The government in UK doesn't care if your funds are stolen from somewhere. As long as you are rich, and is able to spend that money in the UK, you are welcome there.
I doubt that it is about being deported or even physical harm, it is obvious that these people are now rich and UK wants to take a piece of that money. Think about it, wouldn't you want two people with over 3 billion dollars in their pockets to come to your nation, live there, spend there, when they spend their money others in your nation earn money, and they pay taxes as well so basically all around as long as they live there that 3+ billion dollars will slowly go into UK economy.

So I think it is not about white collar crime, it is not about deportation, it is not about keeping someone safe from physical harm, UK doesn't care about any of that, they only care about money that they could make from these two. I still can't believe they managed to steal this much money, it is a shock to me that they were even capable of doing something this large so easily.

It would be too naive to focus on physical protection and deportation issues.  The state only talks about needs, what needs can be met then the state can protect.  The money so big they have will make a good proposal for the protection of a country even though he is a criminal.  This is a fact that is difficult for everyone to admit.  Whether the state really cares about the fate of workers who work as maids is not entirely.  It's a business to business story.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define rich? on: July 03, 2021, 02:11:57 PM
Rich is when I can't count the wealth I have with a simple count, because when I can count it easily, it's still not rich in the upper middle class.  Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, and others are examples of rich people because without the calculation of the ratio then you will not be able to measure the wealth they have.  So the indicator of a rich person that I think is not measurable wealth.
809  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: July 03, 2021, 12:41:04 PM
If your country is relying on the Chinese vaccines, then may gold help you. Countries such as Chile, Indonesia, Mongolia and Turkey managed to vaccinate a large part of their populations with the Chinese vaccines, and yet all these countries are witnessing fresh spikes in infection rates. A study in Chile concluded that single dose efficacy of the Sinovac vaccine is just 3%. Other vaccines such as Sputnik, Pfizer and Moderna are showing a single dose efficacy of more than 90%, with AstraZeneca having an efficacy of more than 75%.

The majority of people in Indonesia are Muslim, some of them strongly oppose other vaccines such as Astrazeneca because they are not halal and contain pork.  Although its effectiveness is much better than Sinovac they opt for the lower effectiveness.  In fact, the Indonesian Ulema Council has allowed a vaccine containing pork as a medicine, but in society there is still turmoil.
810  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: July 02, 2021, 05:52:11 PM
I also know that, but the problem is that people shout that they don't want to be vaccinated for their own reasons, don't want to comply with health protocols, and say that infected people are also just hospital fabrications.  After all, it is very difficult to achieve herd immunity, even to maintain herd stupidity.  This is rooted in the society of my country.  People who are vaccinated can still get it, that's natural because the vaccines that I know come from viruses that are weakened so that the body forms antibodies.  There are no antibodies yet, they don't maintain health protocols and hang out with stupid friends too.  and become mass stupidity.

You will find Covidiots in most of the countries. One of my colleagues in India was describing about his neighbors back home. The family mocked others for wearing masks and proclaimed that wearing a mask is a sign of cowardness. They roamed around with scant regard to any social distancing protocol. 3 members of the family ended up in the ICU, and out of that one lost his life. And this is not an isolated incident in third world countries. In every nook and corner you will hear about such stories. And the sad part is that, because of these irresponsible people, sometimes others get the infection.

There is no way for them to express their stupidity.  At the beginning of the pandemic, they asked to be given a vaccine immediately.  After the vaccine was available, he said the vaccine was not safe, after it was confirmed it was safe, he said the president had to be injected first, after the president was injected he said the needle didn't go in.  After being proven, he said that only vitamin C was injected into the president, not a vaccine. After it was proven, he said the vaccine was not halal.  After confirming it was halal, he said the vaccine could cause death.  Now students from many universities are preparing aski for the demo because the president is not doing well.  Isn't this just a matter of stupidity?
811  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing only for the rich? Think again on: July 02, 2021, 04:11:04 PM
I don't say that the poor do have the disadvantage. The capacity that most have isn't that much and instead of investing, they're going first with their needs instead of investing in investments that we're going to suggest to them. Yeah, the mindset is very important but the situation also permits them not to be free from it. That's why someone who has a mindset of 'can do' is very important to them if they want to invest for their future.

It is undeniable that there are some poor people who are also mentally poor.  But actually, I think more that the poor with weak mentality are those who have never migrated.  Because if they migrate, their enthusiasm for life is higher so it will not rule out the possibility that they will succeed.  Like the Chinese who are scattered in many countries, for example in my country.  They come to my country because they are poor and can control the economy in my country because the spirit of survival is better than local residents who have never migrated.  Likewise investing, the ones who dominate investment in my country are those of Chinese descent who migrated.

when they are out of thier country they are also out of their comfort zone . they can do things that they dont normally do but not all are succesful  .
in asian country there are lots of americans that became poor and now living in the street asking for some help and there are  lots of americans that became succesful without needing to travel outside of their country .

When it comes to the US, doesn't that country have a long history of immigrants?  The population in the US is also on average immigrants, this means they are people who have migrated.  Which country is now a super power?  Obviously the answer is US.  If in fact you find that some are not successful then that is only a small part of the total success of the US population.  As information, Jeff Bezos, who is the richest man in the world, is the son of Cuban immigrants to the US.
812  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Tapering off The Fed akankah mempengaruhi Pasar Crypto? on: July 02, 2021, 03:27:24 PM
Sepertinya om melihat kemungkinan pasar crypto positif saat tapering off dilakukan.

CMIIW
813  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Tapering off The Fed akankah mempengaruhi Pasar Crypto? on: July 01, 2021, 03:52:20 PM

Sepertinya om melihat kemungkinan pasar crypto positif saat tapering off dilakukan.

Looking at Ukraine's performance, I think they still have a chance to beat England, although the chance is not very high.

England it's not the strongest team in 1/4 of Euro, so chances are pretty good i think. At least, the same (as you noticed above) was with Sweden: very few people thought that Ukraine will beat it. But some people tells that this happened just because Sweden team had less players than ukrainian.

Even so, it is undeniable that in every England-Ukrainian match, England will come out as the winner.  So my prediction this time is Kane will not let his team go home with a defeat in this long journey.  At least he will score goals for his country and meet his next opponent.  Ukraine itself is also a team that cannot be underestimated, they are also quite stable in their game.  But Kane is now highly expected to take England into the next game.

Herd immunity needs complete vaccination (two doses) for at least 75% of the population. These figures (2% or 20%) are woefully short of that. Eventually the pandemic will be contained. But we need to be cautious until then. Even if you have two doses of the most efficient vaccine, that doesn't mean that you are safe. You are in danger as long as there are unvaccinated people around you. And don't forget the fact that more lethal strains are being reported nowadays. This is definitely not the time to attend sports events and celebrations.

I am very surprised that the bookmakers think that England is the main favorite now, have they not watched the games of the EURO so far? It's true that the possibility of England reaching the final are very high because they will play Ukraine in the quarterfinal now and then afterwards the winner of Denmark vs. Czech Republic in the semi finals. If they reach the final though they will probably face Italy/Spain or Belgium and all of those 3 teams are better than England in my opinion. Everything is possible in one game though and of course England has a chance to beat any of those 3 teams in one game even if the chances are not that high.

However, the story of yesterday's match England was able to come out victorious and move on to the next match.  I consider it a game of tactics that works.  Their chances of winning this league are still there even though in the future there will be several opponents who are also just as tough.  No matter how great the game, Germany and Portugal must accept the fact that they failed to make it to the final.  We have to appreciate Kane and his team.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: After 1 year of Covid 19 Virus on: June 30, 2021, 03:26:50 PM
The choice is yours to make. In India, the Delta variant is said to be having a fatality rate of close to 7%. And the deaths that are directly attributed to the vaccination is one in ten million or lower. So you wan to chose whether you want to have a 7% chance of death (by refusing to take the vaccine) or a 0.000001% chance of death (by taking the vaccine). If you are staying in a very low prevalence area such as New Zealand, then you may refuse to take the vaccine. Because there is a very low chance that you may get infected.
The different perspective of people in advance country and developing country is too huge. Education becomes the main factor of people's mindset. In my country, they shouted that in aboard they don't lockdown and can watch the Europe Lague and they compared with the local condition that will implement 100% WFH in some cities which have a highest infected case. In fact, in aboard the total of vaccinated people have reached over 20% of the total population then so different with my country that has reached just 2% of the total population. The government gets hard to handle the pandemic just because of the stupidity and less literation.
819  Economy / Economics / Re: TP ICAP to launch crypto trading platform on: June 30, 2021, 02:31:32 PM
I may be wrong, but you can't compare PP and a brokerage firm in terms of market impact - because there is a huge difference for ordinary people - most know about PP, and how many know about TP ICAP, and what does that name mean for them?

I don't mean to compare TP ICAP with PP but in here I just wanna tell that every news which is support BTC will give positive vibe to the crypto market. As we know, TP ICAP is the world’s biggest interdealer broker which has high-class customers and institutional segment so if this will happen and enter the segment, the potential of the daily transaction will higher than retail exchanger. PP is all segment mass adoption, TP ICAP is an interdealer broker, both of them are different and that's right. But there's a main similar which is they support BTC, that's enough I think.

https://www.cnbcindonesia.com/market/20200323163220-17-147024/pertama-sejak-2013-ihsg-ditutup-di-bawah-4000
