801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Slimcoin | First Proof of Burn currency | Decentralized Web on: December 19, 2018, 02:36:39 PM
Hello,

has anyone had any issues with their wallet recently? Up until a few hours ago, it had 8 connections and now it's down to zero. I tried adding nodes to the .conf file but that didn't help. Can someone else confirm that they are having the same issue? I just wanted to see if it's "me" or if it's the network.

Thanks!

Just checked, my rather ancient 5.0.15-alpha is having 22 connections atm. When you say you had 8 connections, you probably had only outgoing connections and are not a listening node. I see only three peers of my 22 are outgoing, all other 19 are incoming connections.

You might want to try these three listening nodes in your conf file:

Code:
addnode=78.46.37.209
addnode=145.239.189.106
addnode=85.10.208.71

Current block height at the time of posting this is # 1601088.

I received two units last Monday, both in perfect shape and no broken panels.

So far working nicely on a profit switching pool. I got the same problems shuffling pool order around that were described by AltScope, simply didn't work until I had three pools configured, then it started working. That's not a biggie really.

But I also found that switching back from secondary pool when primary pool is back up doesn't work and needs a manual restart of the miner to go back to primary.

Otherwise it is a really nice piece of well-thought work, great job I'd say and absolutely worth the money.

Oh, one last wish: It would be great to be able to see the current stratum difficulty in the interface, I am running on a vardiff port and like to see what it gets assigned from the pool.

Btw: I metered power consumption of my two units connected to one Corsair CS850M (gold) and got ~240W @230VAC input. I'd assume running of a platin PS could get that figure down to 210-220W for two units.

Looks like we did a minor screw-up and should have collected phone numbers for everyone at checkout since we are shipping out mostly fedex. If your order number is between 1190-1240 please reply to your order confirmation email with your phone number so we can update and send these out ASAP.

Ill shoot everyone an email reminder as well.

# 1233 here, didn't get the reminder but replied to the order confirmation with phone nr based on above request.
Though haven't received anything more like a shipping confirmation yet.

Would like to approach a single exchange to take on all viable cryptopian delisted.
It's a large LOT, and will bring many new traders onboard.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5065176.new#new

That's great news, let us know if we can be of any help.
I talked to Novaexchange recently, but it was too expensive to list SJW or any other of the cryptopia refugees there.

We would need at least 0.5BTC in donations (I could cover the other 0.5 by selling my SJW).

Otherwise I heard CREX24 asks 0.5BTC for listing.

The questions is if anybody from this community beside me is interested to keep SJW alive, if so please post and say if and how much you would be willing to donate.

On a serious note, please stop wasting this precious forum space with insults and attacks toward members who were trying to help you with your problem. Being rude like this won't bring you your money back, I suggest you concentrate your energy toward altilly with whom you have actually problems.

Delisted from topia.   Rekt Roll Eyes

Maybe Novaexchange could give us a new home. Somebody would need to apply there.

I would be happy to donate 2'000'000 SJW for that.

I asked Novaexchange and they are willing to list SJW for 1 BTC listing fee, unfortunately that's way above what I am able to donate to the project right now.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing Songcoin - Invest in Music on: November 27, 2018, 09:07:25 PM
August 14th 2018 and still no news Huh? Is this project a scam ?

It's been for a long long time...the dev is gone. Quite surprised it's still on cryptopia to be honest and CMC.

which exchange is cmc?

so are there any active exchanges left? yobit gots song, but its in maintenace

When people talk about CMC, they mean coinmarketcap.com, which is not an exchange.

SONG is still traded on Novaexchange, though as much activity as elsewhere (read: ~none).

I don't know how it works but if it is free please consider my interest. Thanks

PM your bitmain ID and I'l transfer the coupons into your account.
811  Economy / Digital goods / 2x $55 Bitmain coupons to give away on: November 26, 2018, 05:15:22 PM
I have still 2 coupons worth $55 each in my Bitmain account and I'd like to transfer them to anybody who can use them.

If multiple people pm me, higher forum ranks will be preferred. Otherwise, first come - first serve.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: L3+/L3++ voltage tuning script on: November 24, 2018, 10:43:05 PM
psycodad, one more question: does that tuning survive after reboot? or i need to redo the tuning every time after reboot?

The voltage settings are stored in the EEPROM of the PIC controllers for the blades and are persistent over reboots and power-cycles. That is, even if you re-flash firmware the settings *should* persist (didn't have to try that yet).
Though when you change frequencies (i.e. to adapt to higher or lower ambient temperatures), you should retune again.

Altmarkets.cc have shut down due to a hack and are refunding everyone the best they can. Not sure where we go from here. We are back to needing a exchange.

It is still active on Novaexchange and they're due to reopen sometimes soon.

Novaexchange will finally reopen on 3rd Dec:

ANYONE HAVE ANY WORKING WALLET?

For months I have been running the only public node as it seems (since when I stop it, the network collapses and i.e. Novaexchnge's wallet goes into "no-pers" maintenance mode).

Since the dev has abandoned the coin I have no interest in further contributing (a lot of) my resources into this network, but to play fair: if anybody wants to setup a public node (or at least figure out how to allow incoming connections), pm me and I will help you synch and make your node known via peers so that people can i.e. withdraw from Novaexchange.

If not, please accept that this horse is dead and dismount it.

Most probably your chain 4 did not report back all chips and therefor the script aborts. Your chain 4 looks like it emits a lot of errors, it might be possible to get that down by increasing voltage further (a setting below 0x50) but from past experience I doubt that.

First check your miners GUI if chain 4 has no crosses. If it has, try rebooting the miner and see if all chips come back to work. If not, try to shut it down and restart it after letting it cool down for 15-20mins.

From there on, I'd recommend to hand-tune chain 4 by ssh'ing to your L3 and running /config/sv manually.
Otherwise you can change the script to use higher voltage by changing line 73 from 0x50 to a lower number (meaning to allow the script to try higher voltages).

Again, I would not recommend this, I have my doubts you'd get much less errors on chain 4 with even higher voltages @450MHz. Try to tune the other three by adding -s 4 to skip chain 4 in tuning and try the best value for chain 4 manually.

$52 Usd, each L3+ now   Cry

i pay $2400 for each one and Roi still a dream

I never thought this day would come.
They have to clear it because they contracted to buy alot of chips, right?

That or they are just dumping what they have in their mines which they have already ROIed obviously.

Hashrate is down over 30% from highs so they are definitely not making NEW units.

Interestingly, the last L3+s I received three days ago, were the first that came sealed into antistatic bags. Also unlike all my other previous L3+ from Bitmain these exhausted that certain "new-electronics"-smell for about 24 hours after being first powered.
From my about 6 or 7 batches that I received L3+s from, these were the first that looked and smelled really brand new.

Felt wrecked first for having paid $171 for the miners that were delivered last Monday (felt like a bargain when I ordered  Roll Eyes ).
Though minus the $50 coupon (which you can't use anymore now) and minus having to send my passport to China makes the deal look not that bad in afterthought.

I conclude either BM has finally a new machine in the pipe or they start to run out of cash, I wonder how long it will take until they pay you if you order an L3+  Tongue
