Nothing bad happened after the BCC split, in fact the price increased and we even got free coins.
So I guess there will be nothing bad in a SegWit2x fork, and we will have more free coins to hold.
There certainly will be if the present percentage of miners pushes it through. Corecoin would have to change PoW to stand a chance of being usable. It would slow to a crawl if it lost that much mining power. Exactly. The main difference with BCH is that Bitmain starting mining it right off the bat (because it's their altcoin). Whoever mines this old version of bitcoin will get kind of screwed in the end, as it'll be worthless. when you hold a coin you should follow it to be updated, not sleeping several month, and say i don't konw that they do a swap... Sold your DBIC on yobit and Buy DBIX in Livecoin. that's the only way now there's nothing that dev can do about that so better to sell your dbic from yobit and if ever you are interested with this new one better to send your btc inside live coin and try to do some buy orders but keep in mind that its all about your decision we can't predict what this dbix will bring us but possibly if holding maybe for longer term result will show us. |

Holding bitcoin for long tme always possible to make more money from initial funds we invest. I personally, didn't think much about it. I'm more interested using bitcoin on exchange. Because i think trading makes my investment graph more active than just holding.

Nothing can stop bitcoin will continue to rise and rise no one knows where it is, 3 to 4 more years may be beyond everyone's expectations.
That's everyone's wish but we should all be prepared for unforeseen circumstances and some price tumbling here and there so that we don't panic and sell but will rather hold on to our coins and only sell in due time. Why ever sell? You need some life savings man. If you believe in Bitcoin then you should plan and push to use it one day, just like people use fiat now. If Bitcoin achieves it's goal you will not need to sell it for fiat  that's one of the many things that we should consider if bitcoin served its purpose people will realize that its not just an investment but a system that will allow us to transact without any hassle and maybe one day we will be able to buy whatever we wants by using this system. |

But, the civil war isn't over yet, because there is segwit2x which require another hard fork on November, whether people will support it or not.
It will be same as august 1st. Press drama, price drop (buy buy buy), successful outcome price going up again and it's more than it was before. that's also what I'm thinking same thing will happen while the next fork will happen price will drop and many panic holders will be tricked again by big whales who plays the market and they will buy everything and make some huge jumped again and so on.. |
