801  Economy / Speculation / Re: Panic sellers got flushed fast on: October 12, 2017, 05:38:24 AM
Weak hands being flushed will always be the case through past history, today, and into the future.  Same thing will happen when Bitcoin is $10,000, and $15,000, and $20,000.
Weak hands indeed. Isn't it funny how most people don’t tend to look at the same incident in the past to judge the present and some people still end up and gullibly fall the same trick again. Like you said, this is one thing that will never stop and we will keep seeing this trend as time goes on. The weaker hands will keep dropping giving chance to those with stronger hands to even get more.
802  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin value crash if North Korea goes to war with Japan on: October 12, 2017, 04:29:54 AM
Hey guys. With North Korea sending one of their bombs flying over the island of Japan it made me realize what happens to the value of Bitcoin if a war breaks out.

If North Korea attacks Japan will it send the value of Bitcoin crashing down or will the opposite happen?

Let me just also clarify that I do not wish for a war and hope the value goes up in a peaceful environment.
I have seen quite same thread about bitcoin crash due to war between North Korea and USA.
Yes obviously a war will effect bitcoin value negatively but it doesn't mean that it will be crashed if war happens because bitcoin is a decentralized currency having users all over the world not bounded to a specific country, that's why bitcoin will survive even in these worst scenarios.
Firstly, war can apparently cause the value of anything to drop but in the case of bitcoin, we might not really say yet since it is a new adoption and we cant be sure the effect it will have.
Secondly, you guys should just stop this whole North Korea nuking bullshit cause it will not happen except NK is just trying to dig her own grave by herself and that would be pretty bad, So in that case, I even see the value of bitcoin stepping up.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade based on your emotions? on: October 11, 2017, 08:16:50 PM
Neural network & blockchain-based technology that eliminates emotional influences to increase revenue for day traders.
+ we have patent application!
[ ICO Athena - http://athenacoin.io ]
Though the topic sounds misleading but most people did not even take out their time to check out the OP's link. It is just basically another ICO that is basing their algorithm on AI for traders to eliminate emotions when trading and do not even have a product yet. Sorry, but I don't believe in this crappy projects that will end up just giving us some unrealistic ideas that won't even be possible.

If you have an idea, show us what you have done to attain it at least a bit. Sorry if I am being too mean here but it is just the truth. However, I do not see the reason why someone who really wants to trade in the first place should not be able to work on his/her emotions before learning how to trade.
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What if everyone withdrew their coin in fiat? on: October 11, 2017, 04:16:33 PM
Would there be enough money in the exchanges? Would bitcoin fail?
Not necessarily fail, Let's assume that this will happen, There will be fall at price but surely it will not result into a failure, bitcoin still there and will be there always.
It can only fail if everyone wants to pull out their funds into fiat, which is practically not possible and in that case, it may just end up in one or few person's wallet apparently, since it will definitely have to exchange hands anyway just like any other currency.

However, this cannot be possible at this stage and there will always be people willing to purchase even at a lower price unless of course something negatively huge even beyond bitcoin happens to cause the scenario the OP has painted which seems impossible.
805  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: did you place all your funds into bitcoin? on: October 11, 2017, 02:32:31 PM
I should but I didn't and that was my big mistake.
With bitcoin even if the price go down, it will go back up in future, the thing that not happen with altcoins.
You can say that now just because of what is going on presently seeing as the support is rising hugely. However, you could have said worst if the price goes down and didn’t come back up pretty fast, trust me. It is human nature. The thing is bitcoin is still in its early stage and as good as it is with the lot of support it has gotten so far does not still guarantee anything even though we all anticipate a good future for it.

Just like any investment, you should risk what you know will not ruin you even if any shit happens even though it looks very promising now. However, the level of risk you want to take is in your hands.
806  Economy / Economics / Re: Where can i invest my money? on: October 11, 2017, 01:08:48 PM
I currently have 2mil usd for investment.

I wanna invest it on bitcoin. Where can I invest it?

Please give me all the alternatives

thanks!

also, please look at my first post I plan to build a mining farm: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1764338.msg17619998#msg17619998

That is a big amount of money, with that amount of budget, you could have yourself a bitcoin mining farm. Mining is costly but you could earn bitcoin there without doing anything, all you have to do is buy these mining materials and thats it. You could also invest in bitcoin related projects then you will make good profit out of it, but you need to consider the team or else you might lose your investments. Or you could just buy bitcoin and wait for it to grow and make you a good sum of profit.
You are right that mining can be quite good for investment. You will have some capital on ground with mining but you can still make a whole lot from it. It doesn’t even have to be bitcoin as there are some altcoins now that can even make you have your return on investment faster than you can imagine. Whichever way though, it is good with some little knowledge on best ways to go about it.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: WBet7.com - Sport bet accept Ethereum (ETH) and Perfect Money on: October 11, 2017, 10:04:46 AM
Thanks for sharing this sportsbook it's so rare to see any sportsbook accepting eth nowadays. I have a few questions in mind. How much is the minimum deposit and withdrawal here(for ethereum)? There's nothing stated on the site. Also what about the withdrawals how long do yours get processed?
It's 0.01 ETH for both deposit and withdrawal. i don't understand why they only accept ETH, why not bitcoin? don't they know bitcoin is the king of crypto lol.
https://wbet7.com/help/payment-methods
Lol. It is funny kinda, though they must have had their reasons or probably just prefer to make use of ethereum than bitcoin. Usually for most merchants or platforms, the first thing that usually comes to mind when accepting any cryptocurrency is bitcoin, but for jumping the gun and going for Ethereum instead? It is a good thing anyway, BTC or ETH, at least the blockchain tech still keeps making waves.
808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did you started to gamble? What was your beginning like? on: October 11, 2017, 08:42:35 AM
I remember when I started it was right after my heart break, I was in love with this girl, and she just left me, alone in this world, and my friend introduced to me to gambling, i was so upset and so lost, like I had lost the will to live, and lost what. Life is all about. So when I initially played a small bet, I won. Then the next game and so on, I just have never looked back, I feel gambling is the reason I feel alive, what would I do without it. I always feel there a story behind each and every gambler
Wow! I would have said from heartbreak to another hear break but not yet and I really hope you should careful and do something better than let your heartbreak with your lady take a whole of you cause trust me, gambling may do worst to you than what your girl did to you eventually.

Life goes on and don't take gambling as a way to cancel what has been done. The most important thing is to move on, do something you love and only gamble when you just feel like not just for the wins or the only reason for staying alive.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The hapiness of a green profit on: October 11, 2017, 07:39:17 AM
So guys, a little of us are always betting from faucet or tips, so our account is usually in red numbers, but is amazing when you have a lucky rush and your account become green, really feels nice.

How do you feel with your actual account profit? are you green or red?
You should better stop now before the greens will start turning to long reds and do not get your hopes high too much.
I have had pretty good wins in the past too anyway and it was pretty awesome until I thought of increasing my bet a little bit and then I noticed that was the greatest mistake I will ever make. Grin

I went into gambling for fun anyway just to even see how lucky I could get but it ended up seeming it just aren't for me.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to start trading alt coins? Beginner Tips! on: October 11, 2017, 06:28:58 AM
I would like to add some tips on how to spot and avoid "shit-coins" and scam for trading beginners!

This would be great. Beginners mostly make mistakes on "shit-coins". Inexperience knows to leave a deep scar in life and sometimes serious financial consequences.
The funniest thing is that some coin may not even look shitty at all after looking at the charts, only to get in and realize how shitty they can be. The truth remains that the altcoin market is unpredictable and sometimes we might just not get lucky even after the analysis. It is left for us to just quickly know when to get out if need to be.

One out of court tips would be, just sticking with only well established coins or only with bitcoin will safe guard any investor/trader.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHY SUCH CONTEMPT AND DISPARAGING FOR ALT-COINS?! on: October 11, 2017, 04:58:55 AM
Some altcoins are still valid able and good. It's just that the ICO guyz are doing more harm than good to altcoins
So many coins have really given some bad names for altcoins since they are just shitcoins mainly good for pumps and dumps which I do not even see any reason why they even exist in the first place. There are so many new altcoins and old ones however with good prospects, however, so many ICOs coming up today are just shitty and most of them will not even last.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hot ICOs of October with low market caps on: October 11, 2017, 03:56:34 AM
I've heard a lot of positive stuff about Ambrosus, altough the bounty campaign was a "failure", pre ICO was not, they have a solid team behind it  Smiley
I have been eyeing this Ambrosus. I just like their idea of building a universally verifiable system to assure the quality, safety & origins of products, kinda my area of specialization and seeing the picture of how this will work. I don’t know the market cap yet, but you might want to find out a little about TIO, the team really fascinated me though and it might be a project worth looking at.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: October/November Best ICOs on: October 10, 2017, 07:47:31 PM
Creating this new topic to ask the community what we should consider in October. Barring Red Pulse and Wanchain which are actually September ICos delayed till early October beacuse of the china FUD.
What are the best ICOs in October/November. Trying to sift the millions of popup rubbish ICOs. There seems to be 10 icos a day at the moment. Please list your top3/5. So i can go research and read them.
My preferential ICO's are platforms like powerledger or wanchains. Are there any coming soon? Something to build upon. Thank you
If you truly want to invest in ICOs, you would not want to consider the options or opinions of people here as some will gladly just say something to at least contribute to receive a bounty reward from their signatures.

For anyone looking for a good ICO or if you really want to offer some help from your own analysis or research, I believe you can share some of your own ideas here. However, I expect that every investor should make due diligence on any ICO they want to be a part of.
814  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins good for trading? on: October 10, 2017, 05:14:07 PM
Basically, in trading, buying some good coins and knowing the perfect timing in trading is very important. At first, when i have an extra money i will buy some coins without analyzing the situation until i realized lately the importance of analization be familiar with the graph, know the time to buy and sell.

In my trading experience i see ethereum as my best coin but try other coins that may provide you with grater profit.
Research and analysis are two most important factors while selecting coins for investments or trading in the digital world. One must be a good analyzer to choose the best option for himself while investing his money in any crypto coins so that he can make fine use of his intellect to make huge profits. BTC or ETH are the best coins till I know.
As much as research and analysis can be good, it is just good to never have some coins in one's portfolio as they are nothing more than crappy coins. It all still balls down to research and analysis anyway, but sometimes, temptations of seeing some little bit rowdiness in a market can make one to want to give it a try and asides that, we just cannot predict the future so it is just best to always play safe even with the best portfolios.
815  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 10, 2017, 04:08:32 PM
This is not a good idea, giving up means you lose. there is still plenty of time to learn.
you must have a teacher or mentor to let you understand the safe trading style.  Cool
You need to be very much brave and you need to be having a big heart if you are into this world of trading. It is not a bad decision actually if you are planning for quitting the trade. In fact, I will support you in this aspect especially when you are not doing much well with the trading. You need to take a break so that you can start again with more zeal and zest.
I do not see why someone will classify not quitting a good idea. If the OP or anyone feels they have tried their best and it is not just working out for them, then why not? The thing is no matter how some people learn, there are just some attributes in them that may not really be of much help in trading.

So it is either they find out those attributes and work on them or they just look for something else to do. However, for those who did not even make an attempt to learn, then it is better they find best means possible to retrace their steps rather than quitting cause of their own mistakes.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think Ethereum could break $1000 as well? on: October 10, 2017, 02:57:47 PM
Waiting for 2018 hopefully it will bring huge profits for me till then I will keep it safe in my wallet and eth is a powerful coin and it has a power to achieve that price in future.
I hope in 2018 all of the ethereum update such as casper pos, metropolis, plasma, raiden wil be done. And then it will bring a huge profit for everyone in the future. it not caused by ethereum is a powerful coin but the developers is a key for that.
If they can make it right time eth will over bitcoin
Haha! Joke of the year!! When will it be the right time? And how do they intend to get on top of bitcoin as you said. Ethereum is a good crypto for one to consider in his or her portfolio for sure as the team are active and it is surely an innovative project that has produced so many other projects with its innovation.

However, there are so many things to consider before presuming bitcoin will be overthrown by ethereum. Eth still remains an inflationary coin and nothing less, so how does it want to compete? Reaching $1000 value one day, it is possible but we should let that day come first.
817  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: October 09, 2017, 12:32:55 PM
If bitcoin fall down there is no need to panic. Because it is the characteristic of bitcoin or any currency.  It will fall down and then goes up again the next day or week.
It is a great time to buy more bitcoin instead of being panic when we see the price of bitcoin falls down. We know that bitcoin is supporting the world in many ways and with the technology of blockchain, we will have the better place to live
There is no point of getting panicked with the world best investment and digital currency. Bitcoin is the legendary digital currency and all other digital coins are somehow bound to follow the footsteps of the bitcoin. Whenever bitcoin is having dump, it is the best time for grabbing as many new bitcoins as you can afford since bitcoin pump damn hard after a dump.
818  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: October 09, 2017, 04:19:00 AM
Don't be always confident with that certain campaigns to be a steady income for you, because it was just only temporary. The best ways for us to treasure that money that we've got from those micro jobs online is, you should use that amount of money to establish a business that will generate passive income. Because of that amount you will be having the great opportunity to grow with your financials to become steady income. Always reinvest a part of your income.

While you are earning take time to realize and save for your investment, always be positive when it comes to the success of bitcoin
because our future relies in here. Minimize the expenses and maximize the savings so we can invest and secure our future.
Minimize spending and maximize savings! I like that!! Honestly, since my quest for bitcoin started, I have learnt to save more than spend. I now have a certain amount I usually keep untouched knowing that it is a savings for the future. How cool it is knowing there is more good reasons to save everyday for a better future.
It is crystal clear that we cannot have money without working hard or working on regular basis. All those who are getting paid regularly do work on regular basis. Steady income if it wanted to be made with digital currencies, then it is best to join signature campaigns because they pay you off regularly plus you can also trade with bitcoin once or twice in a month for steady income.
819  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: is it still worth mining? on: October 08, 2017, 06:07:45 PM
Hi guys, I heard of lot of 3rd world countries are mining coins....

I'm from the US and IDK if its worth it or not? due to electricity bills and stuff.
Electricity and mining are like pals. If you have searched through the thread, you must have known by now, that mining consumes a lot of electricity and unless you have a low electricity fee, you may not quickly get your ROI or probably be running losses.

You also just have to make some research on your own to decide how you want to go about it so you can do yourself some favors before quickly opting into it. But sure it pays, if you set it up rightly in the right place.
820  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: October 07, 2017, 11:08:26 AM
For me trading altcoin is better and more profitable and ofcourse you can earn much more if you were have a knowledge in trading and also the skill.. Than holding it because of the unstable value when you only holding it.
Definitely trading altcoins is the better option these days because of large fluctuations caused in the prices of bitcoins due to the ban imposed by the Chinese government. By trading you can keep earning your money instead of holding your bitcoins to rise again and then start trading them. So go for trading your altcoins.
Trading of Altcoin is good but for short term investment and trading only. Bitcoin is a universal sort of thing. Even if the market price of Bitcoin is little down now a days, Bitcoin is the best option and it is far more profitable than any other coin. You need to focus on Bitcoin only to have more profit.
Make sense actually. If you are dealing in both altcoins and bitcoins then better is to make focus on bitcoins. Because I am sure you have same thinking like everyone, to earn more and more money. So altcoins are better in short term as said, but their dump is not good and rehabilitative like bitcoins’. Trade all your altcoins for bitcoins and that would be better choice.
