801  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 10 Block Erupter Blades on: April 17, 2013, 02:02:48 AM
each blades or item is 10gh/s and some bidding for 33? meaning 10gh/s for $2310? am i correct?

I know, I know.  I don't quite get it at this level.

Well you need to compare it to FPGA/GPU mining. There isn't any point comparing to Avalon or BFL since most people can't get their hands on either - what OP is offering is reliable delivery of 10gh/s at a reliable date, and there's definitely a premium on that.

I even tried to stretch my imagination that far and it didn't click.  BTC20-30 is where I figured this was going to finish, I opened at 10 @ BTC20.  Maybe I am not using my imagination well enough.

What is the exact power expenditure on these?  We looking at roughly 600w?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe 120 watts per blade based on (12dcv @ 10 amps)
805  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: No Asicminer Groupbuy-Thread yet? The auction is running already! on: April 16, 2013, 11:21:04 PM
The auction is well beyond a price that I would feel comfortable asking if people will groupbuy.  I thought about it and placed a bid to test the waters.
806  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 10 Block Erupter Blades on: April 16, 2013, 11:18:37 PM
Man, getting expensive already.

1 @ 32

I thought my bid was within the range but man, you guys can have them.   Are people actually doing calculations on the profitability?   When you are talking $1500.00 profit in 90 days with more hashing coming online, seems to be really risky.   I know we are all excited about these but dang  Wink
807  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 10 Block Erupter Blades on: April 16, 2013, 09:22:34 PM
they are available for immediatly shipping after the auction ends? thanks!

I ASSUME that is the case.  Anything less would be unacceptable.   Friedcat please confirm shipping time asap.  Thanks much.

811  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Avalon ASIC Chips Group buy on: April 16, 2013, 01:19:28 AM
I will likely be running a group buy once I get more information and nail down my production manager to build units for people.  Working on this currently.  PM if you want to register interest, use "Avalon Chips" in the subject line, send me your email address.

BitSyncom,

Did they already sell out or are they not live yet?
813  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon update on: April 15, 2013, 08:42:07 PM
Great news.   Patience will pay off.   Interesting developments in the new product area.
814  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC (Batch one in hand) on: April 14, 2013, 05:57:42 PM
Dalkore is right. Upgraded for better power efficiency, and no messy cable clutter since its fully modular.

How much did the PSU run you?
815  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 60Gh/s BFL ASIC miner $3500 obo on: April 14, 2013, 04:28:26 PM
I am not sure what someone would pays such a high premium when you just ordered it and they have 9 months of backlog.  You might want to rethink your pricing strategy.
816  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Avalon ASIC (Batch one in hand) on: April 14, 2013, 04:27:11 PM
Why did you upgraded the PSU?

Likely for better power efficiency.   I will likely upgrade all my units as well, every watt counts.

BTC500, dude seriously,  no.  That is f**king stupid.     Get real, I am sorry but when I see prices like this is just bothers me.  That is not a deal, it is a one-side trade and you ain't on the good side.
It's fucking stupid that you fail to notice the date of the post that contains the 500BTC price and also fucking stupid that you fail to notice the very recent post in which I set the asking price to 40 BTC.
My 40BTC price is based on a 4 month ROI, which is pretty good in my opinion.

Next time, update the OP, that would clear up confusion.   I was a potential buyer, put yourself in my shoes, reading such a price.   You're correct, I did not take time to read every post.

Thanks,
-D
818  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] Beats Headphones and Bose Headphones on: April 14, 2013, 12:28:36 AM
Defintely would you like to do escrow? I know you are a hero member but I would still prefer escrow and I am more than willing to do 100% refund for everything as far as colors,
Pro- White and Black
Mixr- White, Black and Red

Personally I feel like I should be able to self-escrow this transaction.  I have much more to lose than gaining your headphones.  Regardless you better have someone I trust to hold my coins if we need to go the escrow route.

Last, price, you mention a discount and I don't mind a reasonable profit margin but when I can get full retail for $400 and you want $360, your not leaving much incentive to purchase at these prices.  Will you PM with some options.

I work for a retailer and we get 25-30% discount depending on the model all of the head phones are brand new in box sealed

What colors do the Pros and Mixrs come in?   Would you be willing to send me a pair for inspection?  I have a guide of things to look for to verify them.  Likely this will help you will more sales, I might even do a video review.
