801  Other / Meta / Re: Jr.Members Allowed To Insert Avatar in profile? Read Here and Give your Opinion! on: November 20, 2015, 05:24:03 AM
there was a hiccup in the forum software some time ago where every user was shown as a hero member with 1.5k activity or something (dont remember), and a few members took the opportunity to upload an avatar to their profiles.
802  Economy / Services / Offering Java / C++ tutoring / homework help on: November 20, 2015, 05:07:27 AM
As the school semester comes to an end, its possible that I may not be taking another programming class next semester, and I don't want to get rusty. Instead, ill be offering to tutor or help people with their homework. Please do keep in mind that I cannot help with anything too advanced, and will not be helping with apps / projects, as learning the dependencies in your code, learning the project, etc, is not something I'm willing to dedicate too much time to.

Pricing (BTC) will depend on what you want (will probably range in the 1x usd per topic); I can:
Walk you through the process of the assignment (logic, pseudocode, etc. you can also expect amazing diagrams created via paint for any explanation given by me.)
Explain the topic to you thoroughly (examples will be provided, and ill do my best to present the material in a way such that it can be easily absorbed and understood.)
Flat out complete an assignment you have and explain the code in comments
any combination or variant of the above, including any form of programming help that isnt listed up there. If there's something specific you want me to do, feel free to specify / explain.
Based off of what you want, pricing will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Manner of payments can be discussed on a case by case basis as well (upfront, half and half, upon completion, etc). Howeverm please expect that you will need to pay accordingly for high quality help, even though this will be relatively cheap (but not ridiculously cheap). You get what you pay for.

Please do keep in mind that for me to help you, I must fully understand what it is you need; if you throw some code and coin at me with a message along the lines of "make this work," I'll probably ask you for an address to refund your coins to. Have an assignment sheet? Great, send that over instead of some code and saying "make this work."

However, I am willing to help people out with the most basic of syntactical questions for free should they pm me with a segment of code and a simple question, example:
Quote
Code:
stuff.
why am i missing a semicolon?
note: abuse of this will lead to a spot on my pm block list Cheesy

To contact, either shoot me a pm with your question / assignment as well as the details on said questions. I am also on the freenode #bitcoin IRC for a few hours a day under the alias "subs," (may change) but pm me on the forum before proceeding to make sure it's me youre dealing with. Tutorials can be done by pm, IRC, or some screensharing medium such as google hangouts in a khan academy-esque manner if I deem you trustable enough.

FAQ:
Q: skype?
A: no.
Q: Paypal?
A: no.
Q: Refunds
A: refunds will be given in the case that I cannot help you (ie, I don't know the subject matter, not if you are incapable of grasping the concepts. professors dont hand your tuition back if you dont pay attention after all).
Q: Why is the thread self modded?
A: questions that already have answers will be deleted, as well as useless posts that have no resemblance to a question regarding either this service, programming, etc. Hopefully I won't have to use this.

803  Other / Meta / Re: Lending section full of sig spammers on: November 19, 2015, 08:06:25 PM
I addressed this previously in another thread; similar things happen in all sections of the forum.
I didnt want to open another thread but i also noticed a lot of spam in the lending section, like if you are not going to give a loan you shouldn't be posting anything at all in the first place. Everytime a newbie asks for a loan, 10 posts appear within seconds telling him he needs to use collateral, im not saying it's bad but with 1 person saying it, it's more than enough and it's obvious the ones that are posting there are doing it for their signature campaign, pretty sad.
it's a lot more wide spread than you think, there's similar stuff going on in the digital goods section too. plenty of "vouch please," "do you have a signed message available," "pm me the account so I can look at post history," etc you get the idea. again, it's not bad that a person asks these things, but is apparent people are spamming these questions when 10 or so people ask the same question within minutes. it's probably just as bad in several other sections too.

edit: currency exchange section: "no reversible payment," "bla bla bla paypal bla bla 180 days reversible," etc. beginners and help section is the same; a question is asked and a near-identical answer is plastered all over the thread at least 40 times.

804  Economy / Reputation / Re: The deal about Trust on the internet. on: November 19, 2015, 01:55:43 PM
Alright guys,
I have been trading BTC/USD, market exchanges, lending to people, lending to friends, and I even run my own investment portfolio, where I have collected over .17 in capital money.
I am a very trust-worthy person, and do not believe in scamming, one mbit.
and im obama.

Now I realize, yes, bad things have happened around rep. loans, as people continually ask for bigger and bigger amounts, and eventually shit on the people, scamming once the amount becomes high enough,
however, it's a newbie guy, Spartacus17, who wants to start making trust and doing escrow as a service to others on the forum Smiley
I read through some of the replies, and see some nasty remarks about scamming and how he has to buy trust, etc.
its not 'sometimes,' its most of the time. reputation is worth a lot more than you think or are making it out to. secondly, you do not 'make trust,' you earn it over a long period of time. i would bet a testicle that all of the users on this forum that are or were once considered 'trusted' by the community got to that point over a long periiod of time where they consistently displayed honesty in their actions, not some pathetic 30 cent 'reputation' loan.

I thought that was really fvcked up, as everyone was beating on him, and his trust, the very thing he was doing this for, was completely trashed by trolls who think anyone who makes a rep loan deserves hell for eternity.
He asked for .001, in return upon confirmation.
whats fucked up is that you do not understand this simple concept of a person that might, you know, be lying on the internet to scam a few pennies, or a user buying trust so that they can appear trusted to have a greater chance of succeeding in their future scams. now who would do that? just go on the internet and take a whole 3 seconds to create an account and spread lies? who? /s

I thought it was a win-win situat. b/c either he is a scammer, and he gets blasted once he locks posts and runs tail between legs off the forum with his quickly made goodies, or he is legitimate, and he proves he is above it.
'im going to knowingly help this random ass guy gain rep so he can pull off a scam in the future. that is a win / win situation since i get money.'
are you 10?

I have been a relatively new member of the forum, but I have always went out of my way to help people, and allow people to put their trust in me, whether I am doing services for them, trading BTC for cash, or overall paying for commodities.
I have three untrusted(don't understand why that doesn't go towards score) positive feedbacks, talking about good trades, and being honest and sending my cash whenever I did giveaways, why those don't go to show on my trust score, who knows.
seems youre relatively new to the world too, that or just extremely sheltered or something. maybe both.

I, as of typing, have two negative, and very nasty feedbacks, solely for the act of seeing if a guy who wants to get into escrow biz, is trustworthy.
escrowing deals isnt a business. it takes time and is a service, sometimes a voluntary one, to help the members of the forum get their deals done while ensuring safety on both sides. what kind of trust would there be in an escrower that bought all their reputation? none. i answered the rhetorical question for you because i thought you might not get the obvious answer.

I think the ability to post baseless negative trust scores, which are basically accusations, is very wrong, as I am completely against scamming, and dislike when people point fingers and accusate.
If I scammed someone? Hell Yes I Should be labeled.
If I was holding escrow, and ran? Hell yeah I should get shit on for that.
But testing out a reputation loan? No, I shouldn't.
its not baseless. you knowingly abetted someone in possibly attempting a future scam. exactly how is that right again?

I agree, reputation loans sometimes are complete scams.
However, this guy is an honest guy, who wants to go into the biz with some green on his side, so he can make some biz Smiley

After he saw my negative feedback(s), he sent me a pm, saying,
"Thanks for trusting me. I see you got hit with negative trust, I won't mind if you remove the positive trust you gave me to hopefully get rid of the negative trust people gave you."(spartacus17, pm)

I basically replied, saying you should not do rep. loans from now on, as it is associated with scamming, and also will get you BASELESS NEGATIVES REVIEWS from people, who don't even know you. However, I did say I will not remove my positive review of him, and will fight to make this BS w/ the negative trusts stop.

It should be not allowed, that you can place negative reviews on who-ever the fvck you want to, just b/c they were trying to help a guy.

Please fix/look at..

Feeling disgusted.. Angry

x_Molotov
see above statements to see why this section of your post is exceptionally stupid.

I basically replied, saying you should not do rep. loans from now on, as it is associated with scamming, and also will get you BASELESS NEGATIVES REVIEWS from people, who don't even know you. However, I did say I will not remove my positive review of him, and will fight to make this BS w/ the negative trusts stop.
so, this entire time, you knew the implications of a reputation loan, and you still went with it. are the metaphorical cogs in your brain turning at all yet? you dont seem to have used it for quite some time considering you made this contradictory statement.

It should be not allowed, that you can place negative reviews on who-ever the fvck you want to, just b/c they were trying to help a guy.
yeah help a guy scam.

Feeling disgusted.. Angry
me too, i think i ate something bad. maybe it was that week-old banana i had last night. maybe it was the doughnut. who knows.
805  Other / Meta / Re: Public list of yobit spammers(this one's gonna be long boys) on: November 19, 2015, 03:44:40 AM
DO NOT try to evade your answer to my two questions just by saying this and that.It would simply be a case of immature remark.
My two questions,again:
1.Where did I violate yobit's rules?
2.Where did I post any thing 'LESS' in the respective threads of my posts?

yobit's campaign rules are not the forum's rules. not that their campaign has any real rules anyways.

Yes this user isnt yet been banned because this user has removed his signature from his profile otherwise the mods/admin would have been banned him in the matter of time. This user     if in in future again use any campaign signature strict action will be took against him.

and please donot make his topic  offtopic anymore by answering his foolish questions everytime!
having a signature on or not doesnt really matter as much as youre making it out to; spam is spam regardless. being enrolled in a signature campaign just makes you more of a target iif the mods / admins decide to ban you, because its an indication that youre mindlessly churning out spam for pay.

4/10 meme.

that aside, it might take a scam accusation thread to get wangxinxi / izanagi to actually start working on this issue; lots of people are missing partial or entire payments, avatar payments are missing, payrates, etc. if they just go through the spreadsheets and payment records, this shouldn't take more then a day to resolve, and it's already been over a week since these problems started.
807  Economy / Services / Re: $20 find me a Discovery Channel clip in HD on: November 18, 2015, 06:42:03 AM
thanks guys; definitely better quality than the one i had, may not be full HD but better.

$25 if someone can get full 1080p Episode rip
theres a few torrents for 720 rips floating around, and i could probably get you the 1080p, but id probably have to get a scenehd invite off the what forums, wait a few days to actually get the invite, and then download it or something like that, seeing as there arent any 1080p downloads (that i can search for so far).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0dODJGm3dM this 1 looks like a lil better quality then the other 1 that was found
thats literally the video in the op. literally. Grin

811  Economy / Services / Re: [Crypto-Games.net] ★Signature Campaign★ | Best Rates | Member - Staff [OPEN] on: November 17, 2015, 10:29:25 PM
I must admit that your rates are bloody high in payment for the sig campaign but sadly limiting the amount or higher tier if user spots is extremely limiting to your campaigns post quality..

Most hero or legendary members have been here for years and actually give a shit about the forums and their content... And aren't just farmed accounts built for the sole purpose of making a quick bitcent.

i disagree, limiting the number of higher member rank spots works well to reduce spam imo, and even if most hero+ members arent farmed, a fair number of them are (and its fairly obvious they are too). i like the lower post limits they use as well (personally id make it 50 a week); a max limit on the number of accepted posts seems to make every sig campaign enrollee think they have to reach that count somehow, even if it means disregarding post quality.

813  Economy / Services / Re: [NEED] Coder for a very simple app! on: November 17, 2015, 03:43:10 AM
why not just use the google drive app and copy the sharing link from there? you can literally (and i really do mean literally) click the icon on the right side of each file, and an option to copy the sharing link will pop up. it even gives you options on how to send that link (copy to clipboard, email, social media, etc). literally no need to waste money to hire someone to make something that already exists.

    • Use Tor, hidden wallets and/or Mixers like bitmixer.io
most of the people on this forum have probably used TOR at one point or another.

    • Don't Give me they're real web mail for communication purposes, i will send a test email with a code and send you random verification mail randomly over the year, you will need to reply to that mail with the

817  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: November 16, 2015, 07:44:33 PM
I apologize, but I'm going to have to withdraw myself from this campaign because it has become apparent to me that other users have a problem with users earning small amounts of BTC for their posts. I am not interested in being a target for their drama when it's just simply not worth it.

Thanks for the one pay-out I did receive and good luck with this campaign.
people dont have a problem with people being on sig campaigns. people have a problem with people who are on sig campaigns that post mindless drivel, redundant information, and needless / useless posts over and over to get a few cents off a campaign, such as youve been doing.

    819  Economy / Services / Re: XPayBot (Wallet for Telegram) ★ Signature Campaign ★ Weekly ★ on: November 16, 2015, 04:36:46 AM
fair warning to those that might be thinking of participating in this campaign:

1% daily payout --> smells like a ponzi. you may or may not be tagged with negative trust ratings from default members if you knowingly advertise a ponzi in your signature, depends on how they (DT members) see it.

    XPayBot not a Ponzi.
like i said, fair warning to those who advertise for this service.

The most accurate description of Bitcointalk yet. Good read.
somehow missed reading that, glad i caught it now.

that aside, the same people are pulling shit like this, and its actually apalling to me that people around my age (give or take a few) are dumb enough to pull stunts like this, in a library, where people are trying to fucking study.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJAuVQlLxD0

exactly what do these shits think they'll achieve with a stunt like this? get hated by every student in that library for ruining their study time?
