I was not sure about that match, and I was right. They won only by 1-0. Las Palmas stays a good team, so I wouldn't even have been surprised if they drawed against Atletico. I am always amazed at how bad gladbach is on the road. For some reason, they are just unable to score or defend. I know the home field advantage plays a big role in soccer, but sometimes it's just crazy how big of a difference it actually makes. I see Augsburg eventually breaking this stalemate to win it 1-0 to continue gladbach's history of poor away form.
If you look closely on the Bundesliga table, Moenchengladbach is not the only big team that couldn't perform. In fact, Bundesliga have the most big teams collapsed and the most underdog rising this season than any other top 5 league in Europe.
