801  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 30, 2023, 09:54:20 AM
Most casinos these days that are operating under a license would ask for KYC verification at some point and they don't mention anything about it beforehand, though they will have it in their terms and conditions and most gamblers don't really read the terms and conditions unless they get in trouble.
I think all of them are telling that on their t & c and it's just that we're not reading it. And we get surprised when we gamble and not expecting to get kyced.
But then, when it comes, that becomes shocking as if that they will never ask that but in fact that it's on their t & c. We just ignored it even if the possibility was there.
Guy to read terms and conditions is not easy because the articles are always very long though it is very much important to read before gambling and doing anything in the site but because of the length of the article many gamblers didn't read before entering the casino site and deposit and start to play games and when they win and want to withdraw, they will be asked to provide the KYC and in that process many were asked to go back and read the T/C.
Yeah, they're long but get to those important points about the details for kyc. But what happens is we do get there when something happens.
We go back to the long articles and message about the t & c and then we read the actual part that we need to read.
I guess that's how the process for most gamblers when a sudden kyc is being done for the gamblers that are about to withdraw.

This is their excuse because they want to have a reason for user to do that since they want to try those users to default on their request since they don't want to provide their KYC on that casinos. That's why at first we should read the TOS to prepare for some possible trouble in future since there are casinos lies that they don't require their users to submit their KYC but later on they ask that since they make an excuse that they found a suspicious activity happened on their account. That's why at this moment I don't trust those new casino claiming that they don't require KYC since we know how it will end up in long run playing at their casino. Better to choose reputable casino when submitting this KYC details since its better to be safe than getting compromised by scam casino asking or collecting peoples personal details.
802  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Avoiding Faucets and Airdrop Scams on: September 30, 2023, 08:15:50 AM
It is worth creating awareness about it, chase airdrops and faucet is quite cool but when doing so, is very important you have a special wallet for it, not a wallet that contains your assets, I chase airdrops, but I have a special wallet for it, I do so because the rate at which scammers are hovering around in the cryptocurrency industry is much, you just have to be safe, since the wallet is empty, you have nothing to lose if they aren't legit.

For Faucet scam awareness maybe its not really worth to create a awareness since there's few people spend some time on that sites, since many know that its not really worth it and the possible payments they can only get for participating is just a few cents. But for airdrops? I think all warning posted is so important since this is famous activities used by scammers and now some of those scammers used the wallet connecting to their platform scheme and this is how they stole the money of their victims.

This is good refresher since I still see so many people doing some risky behavior on joining airdrops so hopefully they can read a bad incident happen to other user and learn from the mistake they have don so that there's no money from their end will get affected.
803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: New ID requirements for Gamblers in Australia on: September 30, 2023, 07:03:28 AM
A few days ago i shared a news where Australia will ban Gambling through credit cards, now it seems that they are moving another step ahead in this and now Australia Introduces New ID Requirements for Online Gamblers

The general purpose for this is to reduce gambling in Australia but they will make excuses that this is done to overcome underage gambling etc.
Quote
The measure would mitigate certain problems such as underage gambling or gambling harm, Responsible Wagering Australia says

Although most casinos ask for KYC, yet minors still gamble on their elders ' IDs (Elder brother or father). I wonder by introducing this ID verification what special Australia is looking to achieve from it?

They cannot stop that what you said is really happening there. Maybe they should pass a law penalize those adult individual help those minors to gamble. Maybe with this they can really reduce the cases of minors doing such activities. If they didn't put some penalty maybe the case became different since for sure with having this no adults will help young people for that situation since they are the one will get chased by authorities if they found out such activities exist on their homes. Casino KYC implementation is doing good to combat any illegal activities and for sure for knowing that exist on a casino this abusers or minors will think twice if they continue their illegal act there or just avoid and seek for another casino.
804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Empire.io | Free Payouts, VPN-Friendly, No Upfront KYC & 1 BTC bonus! on: September 29, 2023, 02:55:02 PM
Hello Empire.io, nice to see you here in the forum and I can understand that people have given you nice welcome to the forum.
I need clarification on something bothering on KYC. I can see that in the early pages of this thread, you said "Relaxed KYC" and it seems you renamed it to "No Upfront KYC". I do not wish to dive into relaxed KYC because there is nothing like that. What do you mean no up front KYC. Does it mean that I can be playing without completing KYC, but when u win a substantial amount, I will compulsorily need to complete KYC?  Sorry, I am a bit late to this.

Most provably it means that they will not require you to submit a KYC details upon signup if I'm not wrong regarding on my interpretation about what written on the title of this thread. If that is true then provably in future there's chance that they would ask this to their gamblers, this might start a confusion since not everyone is fine to be asked to submit their KYC once they request a huge withdrawal on certain casino. So best to be transparent about KYC and tell to it to the people that they required this because this is what ask by legal authorities. For sure many will understand and might they will like it since many gamblers now want to play on a trusted casino and being upfront on things needed especially the KYC  will make them aware about such implemented rule on a casino.

Any player who still depends on ratings from trustpilot will eventually be fooled at the end of the day, I personally stopped depending on ratings from trustpilot a long time ago as I believe 90 percent of ratings on that site is bought or influenced my some give away or bonuses,  forums like this are the best places and ways to discover and find genuine review of gambling casinos, I personally have leant to depend on this forum , and sometimes , some outside sources that are trusted, but trustpilot, has become a business rather than a genuine place to trust for genuine trust score of businesses and services.
Feedback/ratings on Trustpilot can be manipulated. So, there is a chance to manipulate feedback of any site/service. In this case, it is very difficult to understand which can be manipulated and which can't be. And it is too difficult to understand which are real and which are not. As a result, the users can be losers. I never rely on any feedback for gambling. For gambling I depends on the forum.
but knowing how worst case this casino is? im sure review site can change what people knew about this scammers.
and as we all keeps bumping this thread and their victims spreading about their experiences? I know that there are only few that still falling into this trap, and yes there are still lot of advertising they are promoting and many platforms , but the truth shall prevail and they operation one day will ends.
There's alot of shady promotion and marketing done by the casino in order to lure more new gamblers onto their platform. Therefore, don't be sure there are few people still falling into their trap especially when Blockchair is still among the cryptocurrency platforms that will advertise while they were also able to buy the soul of some gambling reviewing websites.
I also see this same problem because those casinos are willing to spend tons of money just to make their name clean and gather more and more victims.
and you are also correct that they are buying those cheat reviews and conniving with them to make more and more money out of their victims.
I don't know how much are the agreement  but looking to all those claims here and outside this thread?
I know that we are talking millions of dollars here.

Even if they spend a lot of money here still many gamblers in this forum are totally convince that 1xbit will never bring any good experience to them and they are done already with this casino that's why their management already decide not to bother fixing their reputation here anymore. This is maybe the reason why they decide to market outside since from there they can still possibly lure people to gamble. Compare here that they receive a lot of negative feedbacks.

If they plan to run a good casino here then maybe even before they fix those problem but they let those issues exist and now they feel the angry sentiments of people and warn other newbie about not good to gamble in this casino.
806  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading can ruin you on: September 29, 2023, 09:41:35 AM
Trading is most times profitable and sometimes challenging to traders, but it can ruin you just as gambling if you don't know how before venturing into it,  I have had a handful of terrible experience while trading and I discovered that it can return you to square one in terms of your finances if precautions is not taken.
Trading will be terrible for a person who doesn't have good contentment in life and always think about huge profit in line. If you always aware about huge risk then think about securing a profit when your trades became bullish then you will be fine with that. Since you might doing a bad trade if you still insist and look for more bigger profit since we know how the market moves fast than we think.

Though am a better trader now, but I still thred with caution,  the best way for newbie to navigate their way in the market is to buy and hold, then sell when the price goes up.
When it comes to future market, newbie should stay off because it's for experience traders, even if you run a poll of people to tell of their experience in trading in this forum, %80 of people will rule out trading as a no go area based on their terrible experience while trading.

If they want to test out the market by hodling then this might be good for them so that they can see the every situation happening in the market and see the result of what they have done for long term. But only few newbies can able to do this since majority of them are their for fast cash grab and they think that they can easily earn huge money on crypto in more faster way but they don't able to consider the risk and just late to come here to find some good feedbacks about things they execute on their trading sessions.

So newbie, stay of trading futures if you know nothing about technical analysis or fundamental analysis for not to be ruined.

It may be not good to advice for newbie to go on futures trading since the risk to lose is huge their and theirs no coming back if their capital is burned, Maybe they should stick on spot trading for a while to know more about the market technicalities and can able to hold their bought token if bad times happen to them.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: September 29, 2023, 08:04:46 AM
The outcome of the majority of casino games is mostly controlled by luck rather than ability. Examples that are often used include craps, roulette, and slot machines. Players wager on numerous outcomes in these games, and the casino has an inherent advantage that ensures they will profit in the long term.
Casino gaming is a popular source of entertainment. Instead of looking at it as a means of making money, players should approach it with the intention of having fun.

Then they shouldn't expect for more if they think about gaining profit since in the game of chance there's no guarantee on anything that they can offer to us especially if they think some sort of strategy that will work. What important there is we enjoy and maybe we can only get that feeling if we are in total control on everything especially the size of our bet place and the capital we used. Discipline is what we need to avoid creating huge mistake since if we don't have good control we might get stress and think about getting unwanted revenge on next gaming session we play. Casino is one of popular source of entertainment so people should not think about more than that since if they expect something unrealistic maybe they fall from the trap that they don't want to experience.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Surge in Bankruptcy Filings And Economic Crisis Vs Recession Vs BTC Price on: September 28, 2023, 01:23:01 PM
And periods like this historically occur before significant stock market crashes. Will this affect the price of BTC too. If the entire market falls, does it rule out the possibility that there will be a sell off too? and of course BTC will also be affected?

Share your opinion

Bitcoin will also suffer in the event of such a situation. The problem is that 99.9% of cryptocurrency, today, has no real useful value, except for that formed by the speculative market. And in case of global problems, who needs a low-liquidity, worthless asset in the real world? Gold, food, other demanded goods and assets will be in price

With that events many would think to liquidate there assets and put it on more safer place. I don't know why there are other people think that if there's a economic crisis it can give huge advantage to crypto users. Maybe they think about short term since those fiat investors might go on crypto to find good opportunities but in long run they will not stay and decide to maybe buy gold since this is more safer investment they could take. For us crypto users maybe we will not get affected much on those crisis since even if they are experiencing negatives on that situation.

We can still earn since crypto market is volatile and anyone can do good trades or even continue to offer our service to the clients who's working something in crypto industry.
809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto exchanges have to learn and improve on their security on: September 28, 2023, 11:40:16 AM
They know how to secure their exchange its just hackers became more smarter than them that's why we see this hacking issues existing even if the exchange spend a lot of money for security measures. What's important matter there is we choose a big exchange when trading so that if this incident will happen to them they can give some assurance that no investors funds will get affected and all users can still access their funds without any issues.

Not only Houbi encounter such unfortunate attacks but rather also those top tier exchange like binance but what good happened there is they still standing strong and can able to operate even if issue like this happen to them. Its important for trader to be aware on this situation so that they may know on what to do next if situation like this might occur in future.
Exchanges will always experience increased risks due to their type of activity, they will always have vulnerabilities and hackers will try to repeat their attacks. To some extent, along with the increase in security, the capabilities of hackers also increase and it is impossible to take everything into account, sometimes protection can only be strengthened when you see where the vulnerability was.

In fact, I don't know if there are any exchanges that have never been hacked. What is important here is how quickly the defense service can react so that losses are minimal.

Not surprised about those attacks happened since many know that they have huge funds stored in their platform that's why they are the favorite target of hackers. This is the reason why we need to consider this topic since this hacking incident really exist and its good to choose the right platform with huge connections since if anything happen to them just like what happen on binance they can mitigate the attack and can make sure that funds is safe then they can return all of it to their site site users. I think all major exchange experience this hacking issue some of them survive the attack and some of them totally fall down because of financial issues happened after the attack they encounter.
810  Economy / Gambling / Re: No KYC Crypto Casinos & Sites | NoToKYC.com | Exclusive Bonuses on: September 28, 2023, 09:44:31 AM
Wait, was the OP edited? Because I'm quite surprised that, with a number of discussions about No KYC casinos, I finally found one named 'NO KYC.' But can the casino really stand by their promise?

I presume that when they say 'no KYC,' KYC should not be implemented no matter what. I would now like to know about the legality of a certain casino because I know that regulated casinos do not allow no KYC practices.

Any casino or gambling platforms that indicates no kyc should then not require it because it has already been stayed, but we also have to confirm this by reading it on their ToS if it also reflected, some may not talked about no kyc requirements and yet still make demands on that later, lastly, we have to understand the context that no kyc is being stated, some may refer to this that kyc is not required to create an account, this doesn't mean that they are not a kyc gambling platform, they will still request for kyc after your registration, except they specifically noted that they are entirely a no KYC casino.

They made their name as No KYC casino so people could assume that this will never be ask at any cost since that's what they market to us here. It would be crazy if later on they ask this since for this since maybe many would feel that they are been deceive since asking this when withdrawal request happen is somehow can be consider as shady action done by them or other casino. KYC is controversial topic and there are some new casino owners take advantage on situation and we know how it end up from some people believe on the words they say.  Maybe for new casino they should be honest regarding on KYC since at current situation where regulation implemented on some casinos for sure this will be ask especially if they ask to get some licenses to make their casino legitimate to people looking at it and also to government regulating some financial platforms.
We know that crypto people would really be always prefer on having that no kyc platform but since this platforms or business does involved huge money then expect that regulations would really be next in line.
Also there are really people who do really mind about having license because they do really see it as a proof about sites legitimacy which we know that it is a common approach but we know that licenses cant really assure out 100% security if funds are really that taken or been ran away specially here on crypto space but somehow it does have a better security compared into those who do ran off a fully anonymous platform which it does really have its cons when it comes to users funds been stored up on the said platform . This is why some people would really be preferring about being regulated or centralized rather than being not.
Making out with those false claims specially on start up is really not something that good because once people or the community would really be having that kind of impression that been mold up
then sooner or later your platform or company would really be leaving no people been playing around because of the thing you had done earlier. When trust been broken then its not
something that could be taken it back.

At first being anonymous to anyone has been introduce by crypto on any platforms but since this industry became big and crypto platforms need to follow the government order regarding on regulation then those reputable platform would really implement this KYC submission. Although there are other may don't like this but for the sake of being regulated by the law they should comply to the requirements asked. That's why its up to us to at least check the reputation of the casino so that we will not put at risk ourselves to any random or new platform asking this KYC requirements. Also we need to check if those casino claiming that they will not require KYC is really not implementing that, since for sure we might get a serious problem if the casino is just fooling us by using that word.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you seen gambling advertisements on TV? Opinion. on: September 28, 2023, 08:09:21 AM
While watching TV with my kid, I've watched various advertisements of gambling nature (let's say for example, Rummy123, RummyCircle, A23 Rummy, etc.)
These are all specifically Indian ads, but I'm sure you may have seen various gambling advertisements, some banners at boundaries when cricket is ongoing, even in any other sport. How would a kid ignore those things, they might just come and ask you about what is it. Till when can we lie to them? Don't you think that the frequency of such ads must be less in order to let the kids not get trapped into gambling and don't do it at such a small age?

Maybe the national lottery held by government but aside from that I don't see any casino especially online gambling sites promoting their gambling business on stations since maybe government doesn't allow any gambling advertisement since they know what implication it can bring to their citizens. I find it good actions because it can save many peoples lives to get away on possible harmful environment that can possibly introduce to them. Maybe in your case proper guidance is needed and explain to them that what you are watching is not good for them or maybe try to switch the channel if you see those ads popping up on your tv. Those ads can really affect them especially if they are expose from it for long time so much better introduce them to cartoons or any educational movies so they would forget what they see on other stations.

I know people who are still dubious about the cryptocurrency sector because they worry about losing their money to scams or security breaches, which has been a typical occurrence in this market.
Since the majority of users appear to have welcomed the requirement for required KYC, I believe the focus should now be on enhancing exchange security.

I am aware that KYC may reduce fraudulent activity, however dealing with hacking and security exploitation issues will need investing in the strengthening of security. Adoption could happen quickly with sufficient protection because safety will be assured.

The latest Houbi attack, which resulted in the theft of roughly $8 million worth of Ethereum, and a few other security exploitations of a similar nature on other trading platforms in the past don't bode well for the sector, which calls for the prioritizing of security. https://cointelegraph.com/news/huobi-global-crypto-exchange-hacked-report

Even though there are still very few trading platforms that have never experienced security exploitation, the recent incident with Houbi should serve as a reminder for everyone to remainattentive and prioritize their security.

They know how to secure their exchange its just hackers became more smarter than them that's why we see this hacking issues existing even if the exchange spend a lot of money for security measures. I think this will experience a big explosion for the art contest if it holds it for the Halloween festival, because we usually for Halloween themselves have become commonly commemorated in the world, I myself will not miss this year if Roobet or others hold a contest in this forum, usually si The pumpkin became very crowded.
Probably. Am a big fan of Halloween myself which is why I might participate if there was such a contest sometime next month. They should come up with a unique and creative ANN for the halloween contest to draw in participants.

Am expecting even more participants to join their Christmas+New Year contest since it's a double whammy of celebrations.
Expect that there would really be a Halloween art contest which if we do based up on the past then they did have one.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5416848.0

As for winter or Christmas then we do have also.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5371669.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5422832.0

We've seen that they are really that always active when it come to this kind of season on which they would really be running a contest
and the prizes are really that decent or shall we say that it is really that generous. Even myself would be considering on joining
this art in the end of the year.
The next three months will be amazing months including Halloween, Christmas and New Year everyone will be very busy preparing for this annual event, unfortunately last year I wasn't very active so I missed many opportunities to join, maybe not this time.

To be honest, what's interesting is that the prizes are quite large, and the average contestant who has high experience and ability in art contests pays attention and considers the prizes, "like thinking about whether it's worth fighting for," maybe. I hope the Roobet team provides greater opportunities to get more people who are great at the art of participating in the contest.

There's still time to participate so maybe you could start reading those past thread to see the created art of winning artist so that you can scout them then see the style of their art do and apply it on ongoing contest of Roobet. This upcoming 3 seasons is indeed exciting since for sure we can see a lot of artist participates since it gives them a clear idea on what art they should submit to win on the art contest.

Prize is always interesting since Roobet management maintain it so that they can attract more artist to join. To many great artist luckily won so hopefully we can see new submissions and a lot of artist participates so that we can see different type of arts created and the effort they exert to submit a quality art piece.

My wallet got unautorize transection
I ve conect my wallet to air drop

Sad to read this unfortunate story but I don't think you can recover the hacked funds knowing that hackers are greedy and they would not return back the balances they stole from someone. We had a lot of cases happened like this where they connect there wallet to a platform then get hacked and you became on of their victim so try to learn a lesson on this case then warn your friends about your experience since its really freaking us out when we experience that hacking especially the amount stolen is our hard earned money.

Also it maybe hard for authorities to sue the hacker since this is a lot of work needed to do since you or they don't know the real identity of the creator of the airdrop platform you participated on.

Have you reached 1BTC yet?

If not, what the fuck are you doing with your life?

What are you gonna tell your future kids and grandkids when they ask you why your bitcoin stash is so pathetic when you knew about it in 2023 or earlier?

Reasons for me not reaching to 1 BTC:

1) Bitcoin was already above 10k when I started accumulating it.

2) It's not easy for me to accumalte bitcoin as it's declared illegal in my country (Pakistan). My primary source of bitcoin accumulation is through signature campaigns here. Can't use credit card to buy bitcoin.

My pace is slow but I am still not giving up on bitcoin accumaltion.

Yeah hard to reached that if you are regular guy which not earn good amount of cash so accumulating will be hard in this situation since we can only avail limited volume.

But since we are consistent earning bitcoin at the moment for sure in future we will get there and bit the 1BTC future is bright and for sure a lot of people could hit that target to.

Maybe much better for newbies to lose their ability to create self moderated threads so that we can avoid people using new accounts to create some suspicious offer, malwares or any scam related stuffs.

Example this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5467657.0

If newbie account can't create self moderated threads for sure they can't delete those legit opinions and warnings coming from concern people.

Edit: locking this thread now @tranthidung and @Nueroticfish opinion is right would be harsh for them if they got a lot of restrictions.
819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No KYC vs KYC enabled casinos (Facts you need to know) on: September 24, 2023, 02:06:02 PM

However, it's important to note that no-KYC casinos may also have some drawbacks, such as limited regulatory involvements to excesses and
very less customer support. Additionally, they may not be as reputable and reliable as licensed and regulated casinos, you stand a chance of incurring great loss of your funds and assets, so it's crucial to exercise caution and do thorough research before patronizing them.

The drawback as you mentioned here and I quoted makes it not worth playing in casinos with no KYC casino, this is the reason why no KYC is unpopular in the gambling community, they do not want to support a platform where there is a possibility of being used by money launderers.

We are dealing with no KYC submissions before on popular casinos here, but everything change when regulation on certain jurisdiction happen that's the reason why those reputable casino required this to their gamblers.

Nowadays this requirements has been normalize that's why many got suspicious about claiming that they are non-KYC compliant platform since many know that in future this casino will ask this requirement since this is what other casino do and they cannot do anything with regulation since they became illegal if they will not follow what regulators ask them to do.

I bet those gamblers that are lazy to read the Terms of Service will be surprised once they are done playing and try to withdraw to get a notification that they have to provide KYC in order to process their withdrawal.  So it should be an SOP to read the terms of the casino before depositing any amount of money, if unsure of the terms we can always reach out to the support chat to inquire something that we do not understand.

Well, I bet you that most gamblers never read the terms of services of any service provider. Any user must realize that he should verify his identity regardless of the service he is using. Some services may claim they will never ask you to verify your I dentity, but we all know this is not true. The moment you sign up on a centralized casino, you shld know you are supposed to verify your identity at any moment.

If they are not always present on any gambling discussions for sure majority of them ignore reading that because they think that rules in gambling casinos are universal then assume that its the same with other casino.

This is the reason why many fail and been caught up and ended up violating some rules because they don't know or aware about what they do that's why its important to read each TOS of casino so that we can stay safe and also aware about possible violations that we can possibly tap on their casino.
