Why it is not the right place to post something about this site. It is an official ANN thread, people are free to post something as long as it is related to the site. If there is an issue, of course it is good to post it here because it is useful news for others who want to try the site. Would you prefer to see a clean thread without any negative feedback but in fact there are some serious problem on the site that may make you lose your btc?
What do you want, make a scam accusation in this thread or make an own thread regarding that scam accusation? It's not wrong to made a related scam post here but it will just result for OP not to read that since I doubt they will read the whole replies since their last visit. The main scam post will be buried with lots of new replies since the discussion is general. Look at now, there are even posters quoting a whole post. That's why back then I suggest to one of the user here to make a scam accusation so that it will be intact on one single section and will easy to locate. And look the output is good and they settled the issue (although not that fair based on the side of complainant). I agree, this thread was not intended for a scam accusation. This was intended for purposes of answering questions about the site, how to use it, a few technical problems, and other such problems that may arise out of using the website. I personally think that i am a very active dev, answering every single question (if i have missed one, the affected user can always send me a PM and ask again). The complete distribution is free. If you don't want to mine it you can simply sign up for the signature campaign.
You might be saying that PI has currently no "unique" features. How many coins, with many many promises, did you watch or even invest BTC and see them disapear? Do you prefer a coin with many promises, some may be fullfilled some others not combined with an ICO? Maybe one of the most recent coins is ZCash. Price went up over 1,6BTC (poor people who invested money at this time!!!) for falling and falling and falling down. Still i do not say that ZCash is scam or anything else. It just got ultra-hyped and this made the price go like sky rockets.
With our kind of coin distribution i see big potential for actually being a nice coin. We also have nice plans for the future, but i posted this several times now: We wont make any promises we can't hold. We are working hard to make PI a good coin and not a 2 week project where DEVs sell all their coins and leave the sinking ship. I have watched this too often now and this made me realy angry (not you, but the coins doing what i said i dislike).
I realy don't get it why people post about a coin and saying it's a crap coin. It's not only here, they are all over the forum.

The Rise dev fund was temporarily moved to Bittrex for a security reason. The co-founders aren't planning to sell any of it. I believe the fund will be moved to a new permanent address but I will confirm with the team and let you know.
That's too funny... When devs don't feel they can secure their own coin, they put it on an exchange! Makes perfect sense!  Its makes a perfect sense this move makes rise secured cos they can sell it whenever they like. Dont trust rise they are in the middle of bankruptcy |
