New crypto that can surpass ETH is impossible for me personally.
for now most new project owners just want to make money fast and they just make projects that have already existed and don't have a better idea than ETH.

I personally prefer to sell some of my ownership maybe around 50%, we are here and invest to get a profit if you feel enough why not enjoy what has been planted, the crypto market is very fluctuating which at any time can throw your investment, which was experiencing profit can become loss.

I know the defi project has been around for a long time, but the hype that happened to the defi project has just been created which makes almost most old and new altcoins offer the service to benefit from the hype, I believe there will be many defi projects that fail and leave little. who will succeed with this concept. of course those who are real and have a strong team.

- Not really sure what will happen in the next 5 years, but if I were still in this world I would continue to work on crypto for the next five years with some altcoins and bitcoins in my wallet too.
- Crypto income is not certain so just leave it to luck whether it will take sides or not.

Trading skills are not the same as holding bitcoin or altcoin.
if you are a reliable trader you can make a profit every day as you wish, while holding for a long time does not necessarily result in anything.

This is why ETH can never surpass bitcoin. although many altcoins use smart contracts ETH, when the network is very dense the price of Gas can be higher than the altcoin value itself.
