What makes me mad is last night before I went to bed I had a sell order in at $145 when the price was $120. I cancelled it when I saw BTC China was up to $170. Woke up and saw it had just hit $147. lol
I don't know how by LITERALLY 70% of my bids and asks will always be 0.2% higher or lower than the peak or dip price. So far following BTC China's price by 12-24 hr has been the best indicator I have found anywhere for placing orders.

using this log char, see the 26 weeks average has served as support and resistance for the trend. As of today, this average is around 30$. But if the prices stays high for a few days, it may easily rise to 50$. This should work as support for any major correction. Nice graph... did your two year old make it? lol j/k

Looks like the worst of the lag is over Bitcoinity is still showing about 19 minutes of lag. Same here... lag is increasing.

I really hope you guys have some fiat on the exchanges. That, and that you've taken at least some of your profit.
I've got 5k USD about to move in... if this lag lets up and the price dips below 110 Gox really has got to get its shit together. Fire the PHP dumb ass's and bring in some world class Java or C++ pro's.

Why are people even still trying to place orders with a 16 minute lag? The price could drop to $90 or shoot up to $200 either way someone is getting fucked. Have strong hands and hold! BTC has no where to go but up!

Now Bitstamp went down too. Oops! Bitstamp is currently down
The most likely causes: The server is down for maintenance There may be a network problem The site may be experiencing excessive load Click here to try again EDIT: Back up Still working for me.

Seeing first sign of price buckling...
You must be looking at a different chart to me then. I see morons selling in panic and the price rebounding back up almost instantly. If you let your emotions get the best of you in times like this then you will regret it very soon Oh well, weak hands to strong. Yes, panic sell... But since the price were "frozen", people continued "betting" on the last price, so even if one is selling low, another transaction occur right after at higher price... Wait for the lag queue to clear up... Some are already panic selling as the price buckle... Here comes the panic sellers... lmao! still at $140

Down to 16 min lag.. price holding.

Are these lagged transactions we're seeing? Or new ones since its come back up?
Lagged by 80-90 minutes. I wouldnt put in a trade until this mess works itself out.

Worst thing you could do right now is try and put in a market order.

Still has a 90 min delay....fuck... a lot of people are going to be buying some cheap coins when all the weak hands watch the dumo.

Just to recap the last hour of trading.....

I have a theory: Mt. Gox's physical security is not enough to store all offline coins at their site. Somewhere out there is an armored vehicle stuck in traffic, delivering a usb-stick.
Hopefully they have it on more than one stick lol

Seems to be working normally again.
