801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] [NaPoleonX] 1st 🌟French🌟 algorithmic crypto asset manager 🚀 on: September 15, 2017, 06:34:20 AM
This has really peaked my interest. What is the difference between this and every other buy low/sell high algorithm out there? There is no bot that runs processes from a normal computer strong enough to predict the future or to know anything outside of the trading charts. If this was a quantum process with the entire internet uploaded to its learning machine, then maybe it would know when Twerkcoin is going to make a comeback. Other than that I think it's just another way to trade while you're afk. Correct me if I'm wrong.
802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 15, 2017, 06:27:00 AM
My bad, I thought this was the REAL token discussion. Get over it already. China is fickle when it comes to crypto. It's always been that way.

Moving back to the topic.... Does the number of tokens I have vested into a property give my vote more power than someone with half as many tokens as me? Do the token holders get to open purchase agreements that they find on the market or do we only get to choose from your lists?
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] REAL [ICO] Invest in Real Estate, Earn Ether [AUGUST TOKEN SALE] on: September 15, 2017, 04:30:23 AM
So, there will be many properties to invest our tokens in. Is there going to be a limited timeframe to invest tokens into each property? For example. Can we invest tokens into a property that has already been acquired by REAL and is being rented out? Or can we only invest in the purchasing of the property? If that is the case, but we can trade our tokens anytime, do the joint ownership shares increase for the tenants in common?

634 ETH so far. Not bad but we can do better. Yep, it's we now. You've had my verbal support from the beginning. Now you've got my financial support as well. I will help to spread the word.

What's up with the lack of people on this? Lost in the sea of bounties I guess.

Hello, Libertymind. I got your invitation and decided to come check you out. I like what I see so far so I'll be joining in the Telegram discussion too. I replied to your message, as I'm sure you've already seen. Let me know what you think. Talk to you soon.
807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 13, 2017, 10:32:36 AM
Ok, so a landlord lists his property for rent. Tenants bid on landlords property on your platform. Tenant wins then gets to meet the owner to see inside? (that seems backwards, there should be an option in which the owner should post 3 different days where he will be showing it or hosting an open house.) I see the problem with this too. I am just trying to make this practical In my mind.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] DIMCOIN Creative Media Bounty. on: September 13, 2017, 09:49:32 AM
Here's my attempt. Eye kinda like it.

One question. Where do you want us to put our Wallet Addresses?

Another very well thought out project with investor security in mind. I like the soft cap refund option through smart contracts. Does anyone know how to verify these things? Because I don't. I would like to see this one succeed. I sure as hell can't afford a gunbot license. I would like to try a trading bot .

Cant wait to see how this token sale will go!
I'm really excited! Lets buy some tickets to watch this show Wink

I just saw on YouTube that EventCHain formed a corporate partnership with iFlyer Ticketing in Japan. This is a huge development. This ICO has been on my radar but now I'm officially turning notifications on for this thread. Nice work krakAjax!

Thats some great news!
This can help the ICO get more funding Smiley
Not only is he Ajax a super nice guy. He is very attentive to the growing community and immediately is addressing concerns and answering questions. Now to see that he is making strong business decisions and forming strategic partnerships.... That is what I look for in an ICO before I toss any money at them.
I'm a known super skeptic and usually the first to express my doubt. Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age. Maybe this just an awesome project. Time will tell.

I like the new approach we're starting to see too, though. Presales used to give smaller investors the chance to get in. Either by proportionally dividing everyone's max buy-in (ZRX, Gimli, Kyber) or by capping the buyin of registered users (ICON)
From what I've seen, Real pre-sale included, is that the pre-sales have nothing to offer for the small investor. They are geared towards the big fish and used to draw the attention of the rest of the investor pool. Real had a huge minimum buy-in for the pre sale. I like the idea of smaller investors being included in the pre sales but the former is much more useful for the business.

I'm digging the confidence shown in this thread. I set my notification for this one. Looking forward to round two of the airdrops.
814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 12, 2017, 05:05:06 PM
Auctions are effective, easy and fun marketing tools that are rapidly growing in popularity as a means of selling real estate. No longer simply a way to dispose of property after a bankruptcy or foreclosure, auctions have become a legitimate way to sell real estate. And they work for all types of property, including residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and vacant land. In fact, auction sales of real estate have more than quadrupled since 1980 and are expected to account for 30% of all real estate sales by the year 2020.

What's with the copy and paste spam man? You obviously are googling some keywords here and copying seemingly relevant info to paste here. Why not google the whitepaper instead and read it. Or at least read the OP. Come on man.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Relest - first real estate rental AUCTION platform, September 18 on: September 12, 2017, 06:38:32 AM
I didnt really find an answer in the white paper about the fees. It says initial income will come from subscription to different additional services, but it doesnt say if landlords will have to pay a certain fee to put their asset on auction. If not, how will this project be really funded? Will there also be an option for landlords to choose the minimum price?

Putting an asset on auction should be free as it attracts householders to the platform. Funds can come once the asset is rented, or via the additional services explained above.

Exactly, I would hesitate if I have to pay a fee to put my property for rent.

I worked in property management for several years and all the owners that we managed properties for had to pay fees even when the property was vacant. We were actively managing it though. If the owners of the property are going to be the ones meeting the tenants and unlocking the doors and doing the showings and basically doing all the work themselves, why should they pay a fee? That's going to be a huge turn-off for homeowners. Furthermore, If you are not doing property management like you previously stated then you are cutting a large number of property owners out of the equation. The company  I worked for managed on average 98 houses. About 30 of the owners were in another state.

Here you can find the link to the recent Coin Interview with Eventchain.io https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmihjL9Hxzc

I think this is one of the strongest projects I have seen all year. Very excited about this project.

Steemit article with a Q&A here: https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@coininterview/ama-live-coin-interview-with-eventchain-io

Good luck to all the ICO participants Smiley

I'm going to agree with you there. Strong indeed. It has a well-known cryptocurrency YouTuber at the helm and he is tirelessly answering any question we can throw at him.

Right now our beta is only available on Oculus but by November we will be compatible on all major hardware devices. We are open to exclusives if it's a good deal for us and our investors

I'm thoroughly impressed with the progress your team has made just in the few short weeks since I caught wind of this project. Too bad I won't have Oculus till after the ICO is long over.
818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🚀 [ANN][ICO] PAYPIE 🌟🌟🚀 World’s First Blockchain Accounting Platform on: September 12, 2017, 06:26:17 AM
So do we really have to wait until march of next year to get a look at the platform? Is there going to be anything to try out, even an alpha version before the end of the ICO?
819  Other / Off-topic / Re: Difference Between "Platform" and "Protocol"? on: September 12, 2017, 03:33:18 AM
Protocol is the official procedure or system of rules governing the communication or activities of programs and/or industries.

Platform refers to the technologies that are used as a base upon which other applications, processes or technologies are developed.

A computer is a platform. The languages it uses to communicate with software are the protocol. I'm not a programmer though. Just a Google user.

A lot of scam attempts on slack and now it seems here in the forum aswell. They should definitely get that s*** deleted. It appears these scammers keep finding victims otherwise they would stop trying.

So if you'd like to invest in an ICO, always double check where you send your payment to.
I know the policy of the forum is to leave all the scammers and their posts because of the complications that would arise from trying to moderate this kind of thing. Conversely, i think the OP of a thread should be able to request deletion of obvious scam posts In their threads.
