On the Waves DEX you trade IOUs setup and stored by a gatekeeper which utilizes multisignature addresses, and you can deposit/withdraw actual BTC, etc., but the trading is done in IOUs. Since you are trading IOUs, there is the chance of default. It has a nice easy you use and pretty wallet, and decent volume for just being released earlier this month. On the Bitshares DEX you trade autonomous derivatives that use free market dynamics combined with price feeds to track the value of their real-life counterparts. There is some systematic risks involved with Smartcoins and you need to (at least temporarily) go through gatekeepers to get on and off the exchange. It does have decent volume though, and can handle more transactions per second than almost any other coin. On the Blocknet DEX you trade the actual assets with no intermediaries (BTC, LTC, etc), but you will have to download the full blockchain of each coin you trade on the DEX and have each wallet running simultaneously. It is still in alpha, available on the test net only, and will probably not have any significant volume for some time. Pick your poison.  Both Waves and Bitshares use IOU tokens, they have depend on gateways to hold the tokens and the only true decentralised exchange is Bitsquare. |

Just find this coin, the real gem, price is cheap now, I am grabbing more cheap Stratis.
I don't think this is a good idea to buy into a pump, it is better to wait for the price to level out before you enter into the market. I believe in Stratis but for now I won't buy any token. A good trader don't chase price |

Wish I knew about it before and didn't rebuy all my ark at .22600 (: If it was fat-finger (fuck, it must be pretty unpleasantly to sell 85 BTC of ARK ten times lower than market)  Haha yeah, cheap ARK getting swallowed fast though. That was a huge dump. But hey other traders swallowed that huge dump anyway. Luckily sold when it was 30K sats. ARK is now out of top 30 in coinmarketcap. Yesterday even overtook Lisk for a while. This is a big dump, very big over 50% of the value lost in a fell swoop, I can't found any information on this dump, can someone tell me what is responsible for this |

I think the only investment in Crypto that has been solid enough, tested and trusted is Bitcoin, Altcoins market is full of so many uncertainties and no guarantee that in 1 year time the value won't have gone to zero. Buy Bitcoin and hold the fundamentals is strong enough

You pay tax either directly or indirectly to government, I don't believe the talk of evading tax since almost everything you use is taxed by them. The exchange collect trading fee from you and pay the government their own cut.

Guys what are you talking about? Poloniex won't easily list any coins unless they can see very promising volume on other exchanges. That can't even guarantee a listing just like ICONOMI and WAVES. But who knows in the near future they will end up at Poloniex too. Bittrex plus Liqui plus other exchanges like Cryptopia and i'm already very satisfied with it. The product and development performance of the team is what matters most though.
