801  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: November 28, 2020, 12:28:36 PM

Indeed, even that natural disaster happens in a whole country at once, the damage will still not affect the communications and internet access in the world, as crypto is located in cloud of space, accessible with the use of internet worldwide. The only disaster that I can imagine that will really paralyze the crypto is when satellites in space will be destroyed or incapacitated by any reason.

There's something wrong in our space if that happens and that will be the end of Crypto if the internet is paralyzed because Cryptocurrency is internet base, you take away the internet and that's the end of everything on blockchain, no transaction no mining all totally stopped, but if it's only earthquake in one area we are still can transact.
802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Golovkin vs. Szeremeta IBF Middleweight Title on: November 27, 2020, 05:28:08 AM
It's not that interesting as soon as I saw the other fighter record the fight more likely a one-sided Golovkin fight. I mean, why don't they find him a match that would make it more exciting and thrill to watch. Yeah! you're right, if this fight will end up in a decision, Golovkin really needs to consider stop fighting for awhile or change his conditioning trainer because it should be a knockout or technical knockout whit this kind of opponent.

I checked Szeremeta's fight on Youtube not impressive and he has not faced a big opponent like Golovkin, I'm sure Golovkin will want to impress the boxing aficionados by coming up with big knock out so people will still impressed with him, he needs a lot of impressive wins to attract big fights when this pandemic ends.
803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin pump and dumps ! on: November 27, 2020, 04:30:23 AM
Don't fall from these kind of pnd groups. You will just lose money instead of earning profit. They are the only ones benefiting from this scheme. Your choice?
You can try if you want. Or are you part owner of this group as first post and you are mentioning the discord channel of this group???

Yes you are going to lose your money unless you have a premium account on that group, yes they offer paid premium account here because as a premium account holder you will first receive the first notification on what coins to pump, these groups admins are the one who make the money they announce the pump and they will dump their bag, so you actually end up buying what they dump and you pay them to dump on you.
804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell WBC Lightweight Interim Title (January 2) on: November 27, 2020, 02:44:25 AM

It's actually next next month because it will be in 2021 as per thread title.

This would a great test for Ryan Garcia, sooner or later he will be fighting an undefeated champion, but in this fight hopefully another KO win by him and he will protect his pretty face.

I'm sure Ryan Garcia would love to come out with a spectacular knock out here just like what he did in the past, he wants to show to Haney, Lopez and Davis that he is a better and a dominant fighter, this will serve as a build up for any one of the three mentioned fighters, the fight will be exciting to see, I'll go for Garcia here as always.
805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I believe I made the right choice on: November 26, 2020, 05:37:12 PM
You made the right decision and you analyze it correctly, mining is not profitable anymore there are only few Bitcoin to mine and it's much easier and you can save time and electricity by just buying coins, a lot of miners when the halving ends that sold their mining rigs because it's not worth it anymore and miners are vying for a few coins to mine.
806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Argentina raises Gambling tax on: November 26, 2020, 03:55:56 AM

- it was a little sudden to increase it to almost double. The government never even helped the industry for the sake of the argument.

Obviously, because of the pandemic, every government need money now, os instead of selling some of their assets or making a loan the taxes is one of their best way to get more funds into the coffer to sustain their needs, all counties are facing a dilemma on how to address various needs of their people in this pandemic, because it depletes a country's coffer.
807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is Addictive...Pay Attention to your Gambling Habit!!! on: November 26, 2020, 03:34:58 AM
You will not notice that you are getting addicted to gambling, it's the people close to you that will notice that, you will defend how you gamble even if you are losing a lot of money here, you will only notice it when you already have a risky behavior and you are acting differently and you are losing a lot so it's very important that we do always take control even on day one.
808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I have a few bucks left to gamble - which coins for high rewards? on: November 24, 2020, 11:52:16 PM
Hi there,

since with all the Covid stuff casinos are closed, I have a few bucks left to simply gamble with. For fun and potentially high rewards.

Since I have been away from the space for some time I was wondering whether someone could suggest a few projects with good ideas/tech/utility/community that are still relatively low in marketcap?

In other words, which are the coins you would gamble on? Thanks a lot folks!

Ripple is making good progress now, you should get some of it, maybe it's not yet too late, and if you have a small amount of money, the best investment for that small amount are Bitcoin and Ethereum, you want to keep that small amount and yet make a profit for you, these two coins are guaranteed to make a profit for you, they never fail investors.
809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a massive BTC dump? on: November 23, 2020, 12:46:57 PM

Now PayPal is merging in crypto,Some richest man in their country are investing inside this market.

Small investors are looking for legit coins to buy in and not those Pump and dump currencies.

So i think This Pump won't have massive DUmp but correction i believe.

PayPal is one big changer to the community, it contributed to the big pump of the price, there are many Bitcoin holders now than before, the old investors are now matured and they have proven that Bitcoin is not and never a bubble, so I don't think there's going to be a FUD, and Bitcoin is not going to crash. and I agree that it's going to be a correction.
810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 23, 2020, 10:25:10 AM
Creating new concepts means increasing the amount of scamming in new ways. I think i had to come back to invest in IEO.

- You know ICO had a lot of success at a time where investors weren’t disappointed, but a few days later a lot of scam ICOs were invented where investors lost a lot of their money.

- In the same way, many projects run by IEO got a lot of response at first but later they did not last long.

Again at this point in the same way Defi has created excitement where investors were smart at first time by making more profits but that is now where the scam scheme has grown and i don't think this concept will matter much anymore.[b/]

I don't want any of the two to return, but if I have to pick one, IEO is the lesser evil between the two, as long as the IEO, as long as the project is going to hold their IEO to a reputable exchange, IEO is much better than because they are exchange regulated, compared to ICO where the one controlling everything is the project.
811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins I have in my wallets on: November 22, 2020, 03:47:35 AM
I currently mining or have mined these altcoins, I would to know which coin the board thinks has a ggod chance of higher advancement in the future long or short term. The coin are : Bitbar, digibyte, zero, komodo, zel, vidulum, einsteinium, Lbry credit, bitcoin gold, verge, beenode, ycash, gleec, bitcoin sv, litecoin, zcsh, verus, bitcoinz, zclassic, and safecoin

I don't know some of the coin you are mining or have mined but if the coin has a good volume and liquidity, then you are good to go, there are a lot of mine able coins that losses their potential in the market, so better do a research if those coins still worth mining so you can reserve your resources.
812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: November 21, 2020, 09:26:51 PM
SoftBank CEO said crypto will be useful but Bitcoin is hard to understand, but what is crypto without bitcoin? And again how is Bitcoin so hard to believe? Is there anyone on here is find bitcoin hard to understand? What's your thought on this?

You did not put the link of his comment so we do not know the whole context, but he is so ignorant to say that, Bitcoin is not hard to understand I don't know what part is hard to understand if he do not understand how Bitcoin works, it's on him not on us, everything you need to know about Bitcoin are within your rewach.
813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Are So Many Altcoins Worthless After a Little Time on: November 21, 2020, 03:21:31 PM
a huge number of altcoins neglect to arrive at the purpose of accomplishment, even the tokens that you hold right up 'til today are progressively useless.

Investing just in the best 10 coins marketcap as I would see it is good for the future, particularly bitcoin (in light of the fact that this is the principle). Invest shrewdly and begin trading in the event that you have seen cautiously.

I don't trade ordinary due to loses, at some point the market is simply terrible and vacillates a ton however I like trading when bitcoin is bullish, most occasions I generally win

Investors are quick to dump tokens they are holding once they see that the project is not moving at all or they are not getting profit, investors always move from one project to another they do not have focus on tokens they are investing, they always on a look for the new best coin or token in the market, if the project cannot keep up, investors will leave them and the project eventually die.
814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers lose more money than win. on: November 21, 2020, 03:37:37 AM
Gambling is a cash machine and one of the most profitable business in any industries, take a look at the online gambling casinos, every month there are one or two gambling sites, sometimes, even more, launching and the government is supporting gambling casinos because of the amount of taxes they are paying, and gambling casinos gives business and jobs to people and companies, no way the gambling industries are going to lose.
815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CAN WE STILL GET THE 2017 BULL IN THIS 2020? on: November 20, 2020, 10:30:47 PM
There's a big possibility that we are going to have because of the big pump that has happened in the last two weeks before I have second thought that  Bitcoin can reach another all-time high this year because the price moves so slowly and the price is having a hard time to move to another level, but now things have changed because of the big pump in the last two weeks.
816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why can't the current Ethereum price keep up with the Bitcoin price? on: November 20, 2020, 02:47:57 AM
We all know that the price of Ethereum will grow when bitcoin is growing, everyone knows what happened in 2017. When bitcoin hit the price of $17k - $18k then the ethereum price was already over $1k - $1.2k, but now when bitcoin price is $17k but the ethereum price is very difficult to break the $500 price, shouldn't ethereum current price should is $1k

Actually what happened to ethereum?

Nothing really happened to Ethereum, it's still the second most popular coin in the market, and still the best choice for the smart contract, investors are on a wait and see now, but once they launch their 2.0 version things will be different, the price could go double, it's just Bitcoin dominance as it's highest making it the most preferred and had a big chunk of investors funds.
817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 20, 2020, 02:00:44 AM
Ethereum is not going to die now unless they mess up the Ethereum 2.0 launch, there is increasing demand from Ethereum to scale and I believe time will come that there would be an exodus of developers away from Ethereum to other promising chain if they failed to come up a good scaling solution

The 2.0 version will be a big deal and it will be the parameters if Ethereum will remain the top coin in the market, after the launching of version 2.0 I don't think people are going to ask about Ethereum's weakness anymore, this will stabilize everything including the FUDS, that keeps posting about who will and can replace Ethereum.
818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 19, 2020, 10:05:06 PM
Not a new story, but still an alarming scenario. This kid is typically gambling for his life (that's what he had in his mindset) . This is one of the example of extreme gambling addiction. Even if he win and paid that borrowed money, he'd still go back to gambling and will continuously lossing money and still end up killing himself.
The only way to stop that kid from killing himself, is to actually stop him from gambling.
Really really sad news and waste of precious life.

It's not only in India but all countries where gambling is legal there are issues like this, some of them are not broadcast publicly but there really is, if you have a family or a friend who is very much hooked on gambling and he sometimes asks for a loan, better check if he is very deep into gambling because he may end up like this.
819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Telegram is trash on: November 19, 2020, 09:41:04 PM
Telegram is just a platform, it's the people that consist of the group that's making it worse. these bad actors have made Telegram their hub for their Ponzi scheme, scamming activities, pump and dump groups, and scam ICO, because they fully control the group if you go against them you can ban you and kick you out.
