8001  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price rising and rising. Is it time to sell before another price down? on: July 03, 2016, 03:39:35 PM
Nothing is wrong and nothing is right. Bitcoin price is dynamic and it is bound to change. This latest price rose till $780 and many people sold of their holdings. That's human nature. They sold it because they have earned a massive profit.

However, one should remember that bitcoin is worth more than even $1000. So many people is holding bitcoin for long time with a hope that it will make their dream come true one day. I am one of them and I have not sold off my holding when the price was $780. I am holding for long term cause I am an optimist.
8002  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is not the currency of the people and likely never will be on: July 03, 2016, 03:29:50 PM
True you are! Bitcoin was never a currency for the mass as it was limited to only tech savy people. Not everyone can earn bitcoin and more over, not everyone can understand the concept of bitcoin and hence they never felt interest in earning that.

I have briefed my office colleagues about bitcoin and they just laughed away. So I guess, only I am going to enjoy the benefit of bitcoin among my colleagues.
8003  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever lost Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2016, 03:07:02 PM
Yes I did lost some of my investment because my borrower did not pay me back.

I am using a platform known as btcjam for p2p lending business and invested heavily in various loan listings. Two of them did not repaid the money so I lost that way. Also I have lost few trades as well. Otherwise I have never lost any bitcoin.
8004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it legal to earn and hold bitcoin ? on: July 02, 2016, 12:48:32 PM
As i am from country where bitcoin is stated to be a illegal currency so, its ok to earn form small services and signature campaign here and hold my bitcoins ?
I need some suggestions ?
I love bitcoin and i can't leave it !

Everything cant be legal. Countries will not want that you will earn money for free. Some governments are hyper active and some are simply not bothered about. That god my country is not bothered about bitcoin.

If it is an illegal currency in your country, how can holding will be legal??it's illegal too. Use vpn service before you access bitcoin wallet. Try multicity vpn to be more secure.
8005  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I keep my BTC during the halving? on: July 02, 2016, 07:55:46 AM
You can keep your BTC anywhere you want during the halving. It is not going to impact what you already hold. It will not deduct any of your bitcoins.

Probably you have a wrong information about the halving. It is just the decrease in mining rewards. The block will contain half rewards compared to the early rewards. It is not going to impact what you already hold. So chill and stop worrying.
8006  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you allow the Government to look into your bitcoin wallets? on: July 01, 2016, 02:31:38 PM
WHy would I allow my government to look inside my bitcoin wallet?? Even after they legalize it, I will not allow them until it is a forceful act.

It is very very hard to track a bitcoin transaction because we have access to something called bitcoin mixer. It will help us to hide our asses. It will mix our transaction in hundred thousand bitcoin addresses so that the trail can never be found. I will start using their service if needed.

Because no government will want free distribution of money to their citizens. They will try to regulate everything. I won't allow them to regulate mine.

8007  Economy / Economics / Re: Have $20 worth of bitcoin, how to earn more with it? on: June 30, 2016, 05:02:19 PM
I did the faucets,
doing the service with my talent / skill.
doing the surveys.
and i got about $20 worth of bitcoin.

how can i start to gain more bitcoin with it?
should i invest? but its too low, it just $20.
or should i do exchange and gain some with it?

if anyone got some advice, please tell me.
since i was new to bitcoin.

thanks...

Welcome to the world of bitcoin..Faucets are no good. They will only introduce you to the world of bitcoin and nothing else. If you want to make big, then forget faucets.

You have two ways to make money with $20....Trade and invest in p2p loans...However, both the ways are risky so choose wisely. If you choose to invest in p2p loans, then choose only A+ rated borrowers..But if you choose to trade, please learn trading first and then do it.

8008  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do I prove I'm Satoshi Nakamoto? on: June 30, 2016, 03:45:39 PM
This thread got me thinking: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1530663.0

If I were Satoshi and I somehow misplaced my credentials (e.g. privkey to the first live bitcoin address, pgp key, etc.) and I wanted to claim the "satoshi" account on the forum, how do I prove that I'm Satoshi?

The forum account claim was only an example. As a general question, how do I prove I'm Satoshi if I lost/misplaced my credentials? For example: I could have burned them a few years ago over fears that I might be apprehended/for plausible deniability.

I have some simple questions...why do you want to prove yourself as satoshi nakamoto?? What would you gain from it??

DO you want to be detained for the rest of your life? DO you want all the regulatory authorities after you seeking your ass?? Dude, stop chasing Satoshi Nakamoto and live a happy life. Bitcoin is a path braking innovation so enjoy bitcoin without proving yourself as Satoshi Nakamoto.

My ultimate motto behind this thread is to get original and crypto related followers. If I can help others for the same, I will be glad.
8010  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin casinos have that power to make changes in the price of bitcoin ?? on: June 30, 2016, 11:07:43 AM
Apparently not! Casinos don't have the power to impact bitcoin price. However, if the casino owner starts selling a huge amount amount of bitcoin, then you may see a little impact though.

Frankly speaking, selling of 100-150 bitcoin will not have any impact in the market. However, a cumulative effort can do a little. But on thing bitcoin casinos can do, is that they can steal money from general people who are greedy to earn more by gambling. They always forget that "the house always wins".

8012  Economy / Economics / Re: 1,000 bitcoins on: June 30, 2016, 04:49:17 AM
DO you have any website?? Any proof of ownership of 1000 bitcoin? Any credentials??

People will not believe you unless you show them some proof. Also it is a good idea to use escrow of funds before initiating any big transaction with anyone. Do you have any previous experience as an exchanger? Please let us know more about you so that we can believe you before initiating any financial transaction with you.
8013  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: June 30, 2016, 04:43:14 AM
Yes, certainly I do use more than one wallet to store my bitcoin and it is a wise thing to do so.

Instead of dumping all your bitcoin in one place it is always better to diversify. In terms of investment as well as for storing.

It is safe and even if your one wallet is hacked by some hacked, you can at least save some of your bitcoin holding.
8014  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Bitcoin price is too high? on: June 29, 2016, 10:25:46 AM
That depends on many factors. For me, o bitcoin price is too high because, it should be considered along with the world's economic situation. Bitcoin is like gold, even though most of the investors do not know about bitcoin. But when the stock market crashes, the gold price increases because of huge buying order. It is because people want to safeguard their investment.

So bitcoin also has a similar nature and can be used for investment while the world economy trembles. For me $1000 + is not a very high price for bitcoin. It has a potential to reach up to $10k USD.
8015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: June 29, 2016, 04:26:53 AM
Everything has two sides, one is positive and another one is negative. But we need to see that where is the majority.

I think majority of bitcoin users are using it in a legal way and just a handful of them are using it for illegal transactions. However, this does not decrease the importance of bitcoin. Bitcoin is a life changing innovation and one should use bitcoin to make their dreams come true. Criminals will be there but does it really bothers you?

8017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can we convert altcoin to bitcoin on: June 28, 2016, 02:45:52 PM
That is a very easy thing brother! We have so many exchanges nowadays running in the market. Like c-cex or yobit.

Create an account with any of them. Send your altcoins to your exchange account and sell it for bitcoin. How easy it is. This is also called basic trading in other hand.
8018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: June 28, 2016, 02:42:34 PM
It is not impossible but it looks hard. Bitcoin is a pioneer in crypto currency and usually pioneers really last long. However, bitcoin will be available till 2023 only.

So it is very much possible that people will start mining another crypto currency after the bitcoin reserve is depleted. This way bitcoin can be replaced from mining. But I see no reason that bitcoin will be out of the market even after being depleted from mining core. It is possible that bitcoin will touch to an enormous height after 2023.

8020  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoins Price will stay at 654.54$ this June to July on: June 28, 2016, 07:18:27 AM
I do believe that bitcoin price will not be capped at the current level by the end of this month. A halving is coming in about 10-11 days and the price will go up to the $680 - $720 level.

However, it also depends on the buying orders received in various exchanges. So if yu need t keep track of the price, also look at the market cap and the volumes of buying orders. These are two major factors behind its price fluctuation.

But I expect the price will go up by the end of July at $700 level.
