8001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 20, 2021, 08:10:26 PM
I wonder what convinced the referee and others that the match was fixed? I expect a skilled observer to compare each team/player past performance and their performances in the match in order to have some idea whether they cheated or not. They also need to know the betting site where such bet is alleged to have taken place... I'd guess lot more people will bet or money will be staked on the team the betting site's customers are expecting to win/lose. In regards to bribing a team/player , it's possible that one team or some players are paid to lose or play poorly.   So, they could somehow determine this by comparing the  past performances of players who played suspiciously in the match.
Even the announcers have thought that those free throws were just unlucky shots and not intentionally shot to miss. It wasn't the referees that have predicted that this match was rigged.
But it was the upper ops, the officials of the league, and the organization for basketball for the country that have a verdict that the match was rigged.
Referees doesnt need to predict because they are the ones who can directly tell if that gameplay is shit/intentional or just purely unlucky. We arent blind on not to notice things up
specially if its an obvious one. There no need on telling on whose the one who had been able to notice it out but rather all the community no matter what positions they do have
until the very bottom where fans can even tell on their own basing on what they are currently seeing.Rigging games on small leagues are bit common
but this one is just way too obvious.
Everyone has noticed that not only the referees but even in the bare eyes of the fans, it's obvious that they're playing useless with those free throws.
Looks like those players are like kids that don't have enough stamina and note that they're well trained and paid for playing.
8002  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 20, 2021, 07:44:32 PM
Always have different opinions and it will depend from OP if how will he take his call.

He's the only one who can decide whether to accumulate more assets or entrust his money to few solid projects, both for long
and short term goals,

The opportunities is always open, either you choose new or old coins the fact that you did your research will lessen the risk.
Yes, that's why having a good amount of capital is an advantage. You're free to choose with all of those coins that you want. Either old or new, you have the freedom to choose any of them.
But as usual, it's better to choose the old coins because they're very reputable and have been built and trusted for a long time.

8004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin i should choose now? on: April 20, 2021, 04:52:27 PM
I think zil is underrated.

TRX could reach $1, but it will take a very long time, if seen from the history of its development TRX tends to be stable, maybe because of the very large supply.
If that's the goal of thinking that TRX will go $1, I agree that it will take time and it'll hard to see that happen. And if that happens, maybe many have already sold halfway there or at $0.5
8005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over to Bitcoin Time to sell all on: April 20, 2021, 04:18:53 PM
Bitcoin has a massive crash and it's going to be down and down.
We enter a bear market. dark time for btc.
A bear market that quick? Dark time? How can be that description of yours happen if we're still in good times for bitcoin. You're looking at the daily charts.
If you look in that manner, you would really think that we're in the bear market. This isn't a massive crash, a massive crash will show you that everything is going down in a quick glance.
8006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When will Filecoin rise? on: April 20, 2021, 03:08:20 PM
Just wondering when this altcoin Filecoin will rise again? In fact all altcoins took a big dip, are we expecting it all to rise again?

Thanks
I think that it has reached the top already and whatever its price right now is an opportunity if you think that it will be once again reaching the top.
Just like the other altcoins, the price for filecoin has been dropping and that's reasonable because it's a lot of them that have been experiencing it.
8007  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had 4,000.00 USD, what would you invest in? on: April 20, 2021, 10:27:07 AM
I invest in min 10 altcoins. obviously I pick top cmc listed coin for invest.
My 10 altcoins are- ETH, LTC, BNB, ADA, SOL, NANO, EOS, ETC, XRP, NEO

OP have only 4000$ and it is not advisable to invest in too many coins with this little amount. I would suggest OP to invest in 4 coins of his choice with 500$ each and keep 2000$ in fiat (USDT) , so in case the market dumps further he have money for dollar cost average.
I think for me that $4,000 is already a lot and he can diversify with as much as he can but I would agree with you that it doesn't mean that he should diversify too much. I've crossed out the other 6 cryptos that I would remove from that choice.
And the other four that are good enough for me and would probably put $1,000 per each of them as this time based from what I see on the market.
8008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An obvious rigging of Sports. on: April 20, 2021, 08:31:11 AM
From what I have heard, the players involved also got suspended which is a good action because if these people do not go unpunished, the culture of rigging in sports will continue, good thing that this is an isolated case but I know that there is a bigger picture behind.
They should really be punished. Because if they won't be punished, they'll just do it again and they're confident that they can put the league's policy into their hands.
But they got it wrong and they have to respect the league and it's their bread and butter that many are dreaming to be part and they're lucky to be with it and they shouldn't waste it.
8009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the lowest transfer fee ! wich one ? on: April 20, 2021, 07:28:06 AM
Tron, Doge, XRP.
I have transacted with those coins and I can say that they really are cheap compare to transfer it directly with bitcoin. Exchange it first with any of those to save fees if you're going to exchange it too quickly for fiat.
8010  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: April 20, 2021, 06:31:11 AM
I petition mo dapat yan sa kanila.
Sa totoo lang hindi ko rin alam kaya hindi na rin ako umaasa kasi matagal na rin. Siguro kapag nag profile update sila at mag require ng interview baka i up ulit nila itong problema.

8011  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Nosedive from $60K to $52K in 15 Minutes on: April 20, 2021, 05:26:25 AM
8012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is dogecoin suitable for kids? on: April 19, 2021, 11:30:19 PM
I am thinking to teach my 8 yr old daughter about crypto. But past history riddled with illicit activity so I was thinking to open her a just dogecoin wallet and have her to learn to use it. Do you think it is suitable? Anyone done this? Or any risk?

Thanks.,
I can't see the risk on it. But if you're going to teach your daughter about Dogecoin, I think it's better if you will also include bitcoin with your teachings.
That's a good idea if you will teach her those two cryptos that you prefer. I haven't done it but I think you should be fine doing it.
8013  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 19, 2021, 11:02:16 PM
Uhm, yeah, they can continue to put those matches and if those teams involved are the next in line, the sportsbook will definitely notice the side of it that they're having a lot of volume for that match of the team that has been involved in match-fixing.
I think this is going to be the last of it and those players won't allow themselves to be used again in such if they want to grow in this business and career.

After what happened I do still believe that this might be the eye opener from those players who plan to take this path. If this news continue to circulate and not be forgotten for nothing, it will improve the types of investigations in case another game fix has been detected.

Bookmaker are good as they have the algo which shows how huge the volumes of bets are coming, either cancelling the event
or investigate those accounts who place their bets to this suspicious game.

They are in the business long enough to justisfied their claims, once the  suspicions has been weight in.
And those players that will be accused and proven guilty, have to find another career path, and if they're able to save as much money as they can during their career-high on such league, good for them.
But if they're not responsible saver and they keep on spending with their hard-earned money for useless things and they've been involved in another match-fixing, they will find it hard to cope up with their lifestyles. Hopefully that this won't happen in PBA.
8014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum Classic used for something? on: April 19, 2021, 10:31:22 PM
It has been 51% attacked and many are no longer using it but only for trading purposes. I don't know apart from using it for trading, there could be others who prefer to use it for some users.
But as for trading, exchanges, where you will deposit it, are likely to require you more confirmation time that would likely take days to a week just for the deposit to be confirmed. That's why its usage became lesser today.
8015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 19, 2021, 10:04:55 PM
Being on the verge of retirement I would assume that Pacquiao wants to maximize his earnings. The only way he can get the amount that he was asking for would be by fighting in the Middle East.
That's likely because he has promised that a portion of his earnings will be going to aid and response help for many affected countrymen by the covid-19 pandemic.
Not only about the virus infection but being affected through livelihood because of closing of businesses and layoffs of jobs.
For that kind of man on where he had loved by many due to that kind of charitable works aside on keeping those earnings for himself he do tend to give out support
to his countrymen which make him even more popular and heavily supported into his fights.
For that revenue or maximize earnings then no management will really be looking after with less and they would always go and deal with the most efficient that they
could possibly get.
They would really like to get the best deal and contract if ever there's already an opponent that's been locked against him. But until now, there's none and all the rumors will remain rumors.
Until there's an announcement and they really are going to box with the said rumor details, it will completely change the scene by that time and those beneficiaries if there's a list would be happy for it.

...

your story is complicated...
but from your story, hopefully, everyone can learn to respect their private keys and passwords. For those who have been stuck in the high prices of 2018 then maybe Bitcoin has been a disappointment, but don't ever turn away from Bitcoin because surely the price will continue to rise.
Yeah, everyone who was disappointed about the 2018 bear market and cannot move on should forget about it and then get to the current price of bitcoin and accept it.
And managing our wallets, we should always remember that if we don't have the keys, we don't own our coins. It's the golden rule that everyone who has plans to keep it long to remember.
8017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is China's support for Bitcoin really a bullish sign? on: April 19, 2021, 09:16:25 PM
You are not wrong to hold your own idealogy as regards the people's Republic of China. In my opinion, at the moment the market is very volatile, any news as regard crypto from any country or influencial individual really affects the market.
Yes, any news that comes out related to bitcoin can make the market shake whether it would be blackouts in China provinces where miners are affected.
Whether it would be a known investor from the US and tells that bitcoin is a fraud and not a good type of investment. With such news, they can really make the market dip a bit but it will eventually recover.

Staking sucks, either DeFi staking or normal staking cos it requires lots of funds to earn reasonable money or returns every months, imagine staking 100k worth of stable coin to earn 400+$ per month, lol what If the unexpected happens to the exchange ?
This should be read by most of the people that are thinking of staking into exchanges, decentralized and centralized. You have to think of it first if you really want to stake or else you're putting yourself at risk even if that's a reputable exchange.
There are options that you can safely stake on the wallets that you really own because they're giving you your private keys like the hardware wallets and/or trust wallet.
