8001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swissborg is a scam? on: March 08, 2018, 02:56:44 AM
I invested in this ico with just around 500usd.
now its down 64percent?
ETH value down 80 percent..
This is the worst ico i've invested. Lots of promises, they even have facebook video campaign, stuffs like interview etc.

i have a friend who invested 10btc

What happened swissborg team?

They earn 50million USD in public sale.
not even 1million USD spent in promoting your coin?

ftw, really smells like sh**..

64 % down from the ico...
It's starting to smell like shit.
A simple way to stop the bleeding would be to give up the $ 500 million token of token still available for a next show.
All the people who have trusted are getting their mouths shut.

Important question...
Who sells at these levels???

Employees?

How long have you been an ICO investor? If you have been an ICO investor for a long time, you would not be complaining about a certain coin that has dipped in value by the time it is admitted in exchanges. That is actually the normal pattern as far as the majority of the new coins are concerned. There will always be more selling rather than buying the first few weeks a coin is listed in exchanges. This is not the fault of the project. Nor is it the fault of the project if Ethereum has also dipped in price. I think this project had a sold out ICO. This would not have happened if this project is a total scam.

Yeah i understand. its already more than 1 month since they hit exchanges.
Im a just a newbie in ico investing..
Please make research about swissborg.
This is a sold out ICO yes correct. Eth value down to 80 percent? Is this normal?
i am asking this to you because i thougt you are an expert and well experienced in ICO based on your reply..

Thanks in advance

You said you were kicked out of their official telegram channel because you were complaining. What were you complaining about? Did you not receive the coins you bought during the ICO? More often than not, telegram channels are kept smooth and professional as possible and if people begin to raise complaints (especially childish ones) rudely over and over again, they will definitely be kicked out for that.

I browsed over the project, it does not look like a scam to me. Perhaps they lack a more credible person in their telegram channel to respond to all the concerns and complaints from their investors. But still I recommend that you HODL your coins because, as you said, it has dumped in price big time already. And then every project will take a while to fulfill everything they include in their roadmap. It takes time so you need to do some waiting. Moreover, I know that you are updated of the prices of cryptocurrencies right now. Everything has been suffering from this red tide for quite a while already. No single coin has recovered yet.
8002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Bitcoin Hello Blockchain on: March 07, 2018, 10:40:58 AM
I believe that we are witnessing the setting down of the bitcoin sun, and similar to the sun on the north pole, which does not really sets down in the summer, so that is the Bitcoin sun.

The bitcoin was a great locomotive to the crypto industry, but it's time for it to step aside and let the technology take the lead.

The blockchain is the underlying technology of bitcoin and is the reason for the vast mainstream interest in this part of tech.
The mainstream has a lot of biased feelings toward Bitcoin, and god knows, there are definitely good reasons for that. But, unless the mainstream will be able to feel comfortable with using the tech, there will be no mass adoption and this beautiful technology will go to waste in the hands of speculative traders and scammers.

My personal opinion, don't shout  Roll Eyes

In general, I think the two are moving in a parallel manner. When Bitcoin advances, the blockchain technology is also advancing. And when blockchain is appreciated by people or by companies, they also come to appreciate the beauty and advantages of Bitcoin. To a significant extent, Bitcoin is carrying the name of blockchain technology and when we talk of blockchain as a new radical innovation, we cannot totally put aside Bitcoin from the picture. Bitcoin was the one that introduced the blockchain technology to the world. There is no way Bitcoin will fade away from its side.

It is great that Graviex is listing new coins every once in a while. However, majority of these coins are not popular. I hope they will also manage to list some more popular coins to attract a bigger daily volume. Way to go, Gravio! Good luck!
8005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] FreelancerCoin [LAN] A blockchain freelancing platform on: February 13, 2018, 02:02:34 PM
I hope to see more activity in the Telegram channel. There's a also a serious matter regarding bounties that needs to be addressed.

I am true believer of this project and have high hopes that it will change the freelancing market in the future.

I am also a true believer of this project.

Regarding the bounty concerns, I am also one of the people who are disappointed with how the bounty ended. A total of 10% reward from the signature campaign is taken to be transferred to social media campaign. That is not fair apparently. Here are at least four facts to show why the two reward categories cannot be made even near equal:

1. A single split-second click of the mouse in doing a retweet is a world easier than composing a constructive post here in bitcointalk. In retweeting, you are not even asked to read, thoroughly understand, analyze, research, and so on anything. In creating a relevant and well-informed response or post here in bitcointalk, you are expected to do so.

2. In all campaigns here, social media participants are always bigger in number than signature and avatar campaign participants. That is expected and there had been no complaints nor any restructuring based on that premise. It simply cannot be otherwise.

3. A single bitcointalk account owner can own several social media platform accounts and can use all of them provided they are not joined in a single project. A single social media account can be joined in 20 different campaigns. A bitcointalk account owner cannot own more than one bitcointalk account, and can only join a single signature and avatar campaign for the entire duration of the ICO and even a month beyond for the calculations. During this whole time, it has only one source of income.

4.  Every single signature and social media campaign participant joins a campaign fully aware of how much is being allocated to their respective campaigns as indicated by the rules. They are doing their respective tasks separately.

I hope the Freelancercoin project team understands this and considers.
8006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are altcoins still dropping in price on: February 08, 2018, 01:31:54 AM
Btc hasnt dropped very much more and it seems like some alts like linda, verge, and electroneum are still dropping how long will it yake for them to rise back up

Most often, what we saw in the charts in the past several days already was either pure red or pure green but obviously the green was very temporary and the red was dominating for the most time. The prices have been dipping low. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Strat, Ripple, and almost all of the cryptos were dumping. But yesterday we have seen good growth to almost all cryptos. The charts right now are kind of weird. I think there is a 50:50 in what I have seen when I last checked. 50% are pumping while the other half is apparently dumping. This also puzzles me.
8007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will you buy marijuana with cryptocurrencies? on: February 07, 2018, 03:34:16 AM
Will You buy marijuana  with cryptocurrencies?  There is a profitable  coin known as Hempcoin, which has appreciated since ICO.  If marijuana  can be on blockchain  why not other commodities  that are even  legally  traded on Comodity exchanges . Opportunity  to buy cocoa  too with cryptocurrencies is now available at  http://www.kukucoin.io/

In my place, Marijuana is ruled illegal to use even for personal fun or medical purposes. There is no reason why I should buy it since I am fully aware that it is illegal. Well, to some countries where Marijuana is legal you may all choose to use Hempcoin in purchasing it. In that way, you are also helping crypto by using it to buy something and then you are also helping Hempcoin to increase in value. How I wish time will come when Marijuana will be finally approved even for medicinal use. My idea is that there is something beneficial of the plant.
8008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you be buying crypto by years end? on: February 07, 2018, 02:57:20 AM
Sure u guys must know crypto now. And u guys are buying now and such but by yours end would you continue on purchasing more crypto? When would you guys say enough is enough.

That would depend on the specific developments in crypto. For as long as the crypto market is healthy and vibrant, I guess I will not be saying good bye to it. I will just have to wait for my portfolio value to grow bigger and bigger. This is going to be my biggest source of financial resources in the future. I will be withdrawing certain amounts whenever necessary. We are at a stage where we cannot foresee what will happen in the far years to come. What we know is that today, everything's pretty working well.
8009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Upcoming ICO's of Feb 2018??? on: February 05, 2018, 02:10:14 PM
Heard about the new upcoming ICO's in this month??? Few of them I heard of are..
Ricona Coin
Dragon Coin
Medical Chain

Want to invest but which are the good ones to invest...Huh And any other ICO's good to invest?

You might want to check freelancercoin. This is a project that combines the latest and most efficient technology with the trending and increasing industry. The freelancing industry is getting bigger. More and more people, especially the younger generation, are enamored by the great freedom yet decent income the freelancing industry could give them. There are a lot of developments to do though and the freelancercoin project is offering its brilliant way of doing things. It has made use of the available blockchain and AI technolgies and integrated them with the freelancing trends.
8010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today's news: Chinese gov restricts Crypto again... on: February 05, 2018, 03:47:29 AM
Cryptocurrency-related advertisements have stopped appearing on Chinese search engine Baidu and social media platform Weibo, amidst reports of China’s government tightening cryptocurrency and Initial Coin Offering regulations on Sunday, Feb. 4.

The Financial Times of the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) was told today, Feb. 4, that China will further increase regulatory pressure on cryptocurrency exchange sites and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs), Chinese news site Sina reported.

Seems cryptocurrency will not recover so much in a short time...

With this news, it seems very likely that we will have to wait a little longer before the cryptos will be able to recover and gain what they have terribly lost in the last several days. This is the problem when the government of a big country with a huge population who are into cryptocurrencies will announce something official that will be disadvantageous. But the point here is that this will not cause the death of crypto. That is for sure.
8011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want to own the token or profit from its price raise on: February 03, 2018, 11:37:31 PM
As much as I want to buy cryptos for their definite uses, it seems that I am in a place where cryptocurrencies are not yet as widely accepted as compared to more developed countries. Cryptocurrency is the future though so I think it is just a matter of time before their uses will cover the whole wide world. Right now, I am using Bitcoin of course but only a small fraction of my holdings. I know that it is much better to keep it as investment.
8012  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this the end of crypto? on: February 03, 2018, 04:50:22 AM
as we know all altcoin prices are all down, and bitcoin prices have also entered the price of $ 8000 is this a sign that crypto will end? and bitcoin prices will return like the starting price in 2016? because every thing has its time and I hope this is not the time for crypto to expire and in the future I expect altcoin and bitcoin prices to return normal again and increase the price.

The prices are indeed going down and we all know that this has already happened several times in the past. This is not the first time that the prices are going down. There is nothing very special and amazing about Bitcoin and altcoins dumping. The fact remains that for the past several years for Bitcoin and altcoins, prices are always moving up and down the line. And the overall end result will always be the rising prices of Bitcoin and altcoins. That is something that has proven itself over and over again.
8013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum vs NEO on: February 03, 2018, 01:48:32 AM
OneHash has a interesting bet:

ETH or NEO to gain more percent in dollar value in February?

https://www.onehash.com/category/special_events/bitcoin

What do you think?

I choose Ethereum. NEO has gone jumping up very high already. Ethereum on the other hand has been staying for a while up and down the $1,000 price. Ethereum has the edge over NEO in terms its smart contracts and other apps and how widely it is being accepted across the world. If you look at the stats of projects using the Ethereum blockchain, it is far bigger than NEO's.
8014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 50k$ in which coin would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years? on: February 02, 2018, 02:33:13 AM
So i've seen a similar thread about some guy asking whether he could be a millionaire in 2 years if he put 30k in Monero(if he did he would make around 3m$ and it's not 2years yet).

So i am likely not going to put 50k$ in a coin, but it will be intresting to read this in 1-2 years.

So yep, the question is: Which coin do you think would make you a millionaire in 1-2 years if you put 50k$ into it today?

It's "only" x20, which is realistic imho. My pick would be LBRY, although the chances of that happening are slim!

A couple of years with a $50,000 investment and targeting a million USD. That is very possible. Perhaps you might want to allocate a considerable portion of this investment to Ethereum. This is a very promising coin. I believe it has transformed into a very reliable coin from the days when it was almost treated as something that is only pushed by hype. If Ethereum could manage a x10 growth in a year, which is very possible, you will be having your million USD in 2 years time. Strat and Waves are also great investment options.
8015  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Its over guys on: February 02, 2018, 01:50:52 AM
This year cryptos will goto oblivion. End of days.

India's unfavorable crypto stance and more countries to follow.

I warned you people 2 weeks ago, still there is time. Get out of this with minimum losses.

Well, assuming you are right, I believe you are not in favor of this to happen. You know very well how crypto is beneficial to the world and to its progress. And I know very well that you are also one of the people who have crossed fingers hoping that this crypto phenomenon will still go on for a long time. Having stated this, everyone should try to hodl and hodl tight. I, for one, am doing this without flinching.
8016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: February 01, 2018, 02:58:23 AM
As for me, I definitely believe in the future of cyptocurrency. The age of human civilization has always been developing. And we are at a specific age in which the digital technology has almost saturated the entire world. And along with this digital age must be the demand for a digital currency. It is kind of ironic if we enter the online era and yet we are still stuck with the paper bills and the heavy coins. There has to be a perfect time very soon when we finally and fully embrace the actual use of cryptocurrency.
8017  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell us about the project whose SIGNATURE you are wearing? on: February 01, 2018, 01:54:49 AM
I am wearing the signature and the avatar of freelancercoin. Freelancercoin is a project combining the freelancing industry with the blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence to create the best freelancing experience for both clients and freelancers alike. The result will be a secure, smooth, and high quality platform that will definitely bring the huge freelancing world market into a different level.

You can easily take a peek at the platform here: https://www.freelancercoin.io Drop by and you will know that there is something in this project that will bring great success to the freelancing industry.
8018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will 2017 gains ever happen again? on: January 31, 2018, 07:49:05 AM
I feel 2017 gains was a once in a lifetime opportunity and we won't see anything like it again.

January 2017

Many of the top 100 coins with a considerably small investment could have made you a millionaire today, and congrats to those who are.

$10000 in ETH at the time and you would never need to work again.

I just can't see these gains happening again, but anything can happen

This crypto world is almost 100 percent like the old wild wild west. I mean, in here, everything's possible. One man can make millions in less than a year. One coin will suddenly grow more than a thousand percent in a quarter. One coin could also be the cause of one's wealth to simply vanish into thin air. So if what you are saying is something that was very amazing and it happened, there is no reason why it will not happen again. I believe there are more surprises in the crypto world to come.
8019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bloody Markets on: January 31, 2018, 06:43:23 AM
most of cryptocurrency are red for now and down in USD terms,, especially bitcoin
at this moment bitcoin price down below 10K USD depends on coinmarketcap data

is this the best time to buy more bitcoin ?

This is the best time not just to buy Bitcoin but also the top altcoins. There is discount everywhere you look. Bloody time is always a good buying time. There is no way Bitcoun would stoop as low as this one once it will start to make a bull run very soon. The same will probably be true to Ethereum, Waves, Ada, and several other altcoins that will definitely rally once this season will come to an end. I hope people will not be shaken by this and instead treat this as a golden opportunity to invest.
8020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ICO or buy later on exchange ? on: January 27, 2018, 10:41:01 AM
How often does the price get lower than the ICO price when a new coin is listed on its first exchange house ?

How come there are coins that are worth like 0.0004 $, usually during an ICO one coin is sold in the range of 1$ or not ?

Do some "coins" skip the ICO stage ?

For the last question, yes there are coins that are not offered through ICOs. Some are offering them through airdrops and are accepting donations instead. For the first couple of questions, I think that for the most coins, the price in the exchanges will be cheaper than the ICO price in the early days or even weeks or months of listing. But of course this will be highly dependent on the coin itself, and the project of course. For the coins that are highly in-demand and have an almost instant sold-out in their ICOs, the early days in the exchanges might still be in-demand, therefore more expensive than the ICO price.
