8021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY HUNTERS: THE CARRIER OF ALL BLAMES IN NEW CRYPTO PROJECTS' PRICE DUMP on: September 30, 2020, 06:59:14 AM
We can not blame the bounty hunters because they only sell the tokens after the team distributes to their wallet. They need to sell the token because they need money, but I don't think that all of the bounty hunters will sell all of the tokens to make the price get dump too deep. It is the team's job to prevent the price gets dump, and if the team is solid, they will use the other way to prevent the dump. But the fact, the team still blaming the bounty hunters without thinking about the solution how to prevent that thing.
8022  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Best Hardware wallet on: September 30, 2020, 05:53:34 AM
It is not easy to select between Trezor and Ledger because both wallets have advantages and disadvantages. I don't want to tell you about the benefits. But I want you to think about the price. Usually, people don't care about the function because they already know the function of each wallet.

I want you to think about from both wallets, which one you will be okay with the price? Because sometimes, people will think twice if that is related to the price, and even if one product has more benefits, they will not choose because they don't accept the price.

We know that each wallet has good security, but that will depend on how we treat it. And I think you will treat the wallet as an important thing, and you will save it in a secret place.
8023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: September 29, 2020, 11:33:50 AM
Knowledge is everything but with gambling, luck would always had the part for you to succeed.

5% luck, 95%, that's the right combination to succeed, I put a very little percentage on the luck since it's not really something we can consistently have, everyone has luck, and since sports betting is just betting against each other, other people can be lucky also but with knowledge you have the edge to win in the long run.
Yup that will be good. That means we need to have more information about the match to increase our chance to win. Although we still need luck, with much information about the match, we might be able to have won. But that is not always guaranteed because sometimes the weak team can change situations and turn the situations to win. Having valid information helps us to analyze the match, so that will be our key to win.
8024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Having Issues Logging In To Bovada Account on: September 29, 2020, 11:00:14 AM
Maybe you need to wait for an hour or more because sometimes, that can be a bad internet connection in their server. I got the same problem on the other website. Or their website is in the maintenance to update their security to be better than before. If that does not work, as @sunsilk said, you can contact their customer support to ask your problem. But that will need time before they will answer your question, so be patient for a while.
8025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker started to eliminate tokens stolen from KuCoin on: September 29, 2020, 09:43:29 AM
Maybe the hacker will not send it right away the coin and wait until the situations are under control. The hacker will not risk selling it now as the case is still being "hot" in the crypto world. We will see the impact if the hacker sells the coin, and maybe the price will be a drop in a short time, but the price will be back to the last price. The hacker will have a plan for what they will do with the funds, and I don't think it's about selling all of the coins at once.
8026  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can I quit smoking? on: September 29, 2020, 09:10:00 AM
That is a really long period of time. Did you try vaping? You can regulate the amount of nicotine in it.
My cousin said vaping is more dangerous than smoking because you need to refill it with liquid, which we don't know if that is safe. Although the smells of vaping are quite different than smoking, I still don't recommend vaping.
Maybe if someone wants to quit smoking, he needs to have a strong will to stop, and he must have control over himself to say not to smoke.
8027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 29, 2020, 07:49:15 AM
We have so many of this in our country and have tried several times, These unlicensed slots are addictive because slots like this are located in remote areas where authorities cannot access them usually in remote barrios in slum areas or big subdivision where authorities cannot have easy access.

Basically, it is quite attractive to hear noises from these kind of machine which makes people addicted to playing. In addition, the fact that these things are illegal makes it already the factor why people like it. There's always some sort of happiness doing illegal things especially in gambling. Lastly, it is quite easier to earn money from these machines but take note that you can always be arrested if you continue to pursue using it.
People will not think about getting arrested because of playing gambling in illegal places because they only have fun and enjoy the game. I think that is what they also feel in the legal casino because people visit gambling games is for playing the games, and they don't play in the casino, which they don't know. As you said, they will always happiness doing illegal things, and I agree with that because people want to get another challenge doing that thing. And if playing gambling in the illegal casino can please them, they will play gambling in those places in the next days.
8028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that would make a good short term #HODL on: September 29, 2020, 05:02:24 AM
These days there are a lot new Defi projects and coins like Uniswap which suddenly appears in the top list. A lot of people made short term investments in these coins. But I have to admit I find it risky when a coin is hyped and then the price dumped shortly after.
But you need to analyze before you invest in any DeFi projects because we don't know which project will scam in the short term. The DeFi project can be an option to have a short-term investment, but we can feel confused to choose the project since there are many DeFi projects. But I think bitcoin and altcoin will fit him because bitcoin and altcoin can move in the short term and long term, so you can expect to profit in that period. Yes, it is too risky to invest in the project, which already increases higher because we don't know if that coin/token can increase again or not.
8029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Scams and Government on: September 29, 2020, 02:45:49 AM
It was easy to happen in a country like India.Because India is a very big market for the products and easy to scam by the people over thinking.Government can't control all the thing on their own, people should aware of fraud thing happening around them. You made a good thing by share this information in this forum.
People should have awareness and search for more information before they involve deeper in the crypto market. If it's about the exchanges, it is not easy to find out if that exchange will scam them because the exchange will not do something suspicious to their members, but they can not hide themselves to scam people in the long term. Only people who give trust and not searching for the update can get scams, and if that happens, many people will regret to store their coins at the exchange.
8030  Economy / Economics / Re: Uk covid update on: September 29, 2020, 02:08:38 AM
It is not surprising if the UK wants to strict border control in the pandemic regarding the new case found in many places.  The economy in many countries has fallen because of the government facing the pandemic, and the government is trying to prevent more infection. Maybe restricting the people will help from the infection, which will be hard to do by the government. The government is still trying to watch the people who gather in the public area, and they will ask them to go to their homes instead of hanging out together.
8031  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: September 28, 2020, 11:15:32 AM
Right. We will see what will happen with that. But I am not sure if that number will decrease in a short time. Instead of reducing the debt, the US can make its debt bigger in this pandemic. I am just worried about their people who can not survive if the pandemic continues until the next year. The next candidate will have difficult work to make the situations better.

Trump has sanctioned hundreds of billions of USD worth of handouts and huge stimulus packages, to strengthen the economy during the recent months. As a result, the federal debt grew larger. But at the same time, these measures helped a lot of people who lost their jobs during the pandemic. But the question is for how long this situation can go on. Already 6 months have passed and there is no sign of any slowdown in the spread of the infections.
If people can follow the protocols and always take care of themselves, even if the pandemic is not over yet, the government can reduce the number of infections. But people do not follow the rule, and they seem to act as what they want without they think. It is hard learning for the US as a big country, but the US is not alone because other countries face the same problem. And if people realize how important their lives and other people's lives, we can survive until the pandemic is over.
8032  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: September 28, 2020, 04:15:18 AM
Even if the US can borrow huge amounts of money, that will not be the solution to prevent the crisis. I think the US government still figure out how to stimulate the economy to grow as before. The US's impact happens to all countries, and besides searching for the way to solve the economic crises, the government is trying to work hard to prevent the new case. It still needs time to recovery everything, including the economy, even if the vaccine is found. I think that the US will use tight regulations in any sector to prevent the situation from getting worst.

A ballooning federal debt can benefit none. It is true that the US can borrow money with relative ease, but in the end this is not a viable solution. Trump came to power in 2016, promising not to increase the federal debt. He was unable to keep that promise. It looks as if he has done even worse than Obama. Till now, Trump has added close to $4 trillion as federal debt.

8033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: September 28, 2020, 03:11:52 AM
and then casino decides to ask you for KYC
You can search for the gambling websites which don't require KYC, so no matter if you use VPN, you will be okay to withdraw the money.

To @Pmalek: Did you use a free VPN or premium VPN? Because I think the result will be different between free VPN and premium VPN.

Most people will withdraw their big winning at once without dividing it for many withdrawal transactions. Their reason is that they want to avoid the fee. If he realizes that the fee is not too big than his winning, so he doesn't have to withdraw at once.

I think the gambler needs to find what the gambling site they should choose, and before they can find the right site, they don't have to use a larger amount to play gambling. Their purposes of playing gambling are finding which site allows them to register, play gambling, and withdraw the win money. But if somehow, they got a big win, never withdraw all of the win money at once.

We got a list from @Pmalek. Thanks to him.

So you know which site that you can use to playing gambling.

Although gambling sites have IP blocks for some restricted countries, it doesn't mean that a gambler can not access that site because as long as a gambler can use VPN, especially a premium VPN, he can visit on that site without a problem.
That is a completely other discussion. In case the users are cheating on purpose and telling lies about their nationality/location, they only have themselves to blame if things go wrong.

I would like to see the casinos do a better job on their end.
I think the gambling website don't care wherever they come from, and they never ask their visitor (for the gambling site which doesn't ask for KYC). But they can monitor which countries that access their site. But well, the casino can say that their member breaks the rule because of something.
8034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which casinos have IP blocks in place for restricted countries? on: September 27, 2020, 03:40:41 PM
Although gambling sites have IP blocks for some restricted countries, it doesn't mean that a gambler can not access that site because as long as a gambler can use VPN, especially a premium VPN, he can visit on that site without a problem. Even if gambling is prohibited in his country, he can still visit that site using a VPN. So I think that will not be a problem. With VPN, we can open the restricted website, and we can get inside without anyone knows.
8035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin sportsbook bonuses on: September 27, 2020, 02:22:12 PM
Even if the sportsbook gives bonuses as a welcome for the new people, you can not expect to see a big bonus. You can get more bonuses if you deposit some amount to them, and I think the deposit amount will need to reach their minimal deposit so that they can credit the bonuses to your account. The welcome bonuses can attract new people to visit and play the games, but you need to control your deposit money because gambling can attract you to the deeper gambling games.
8036  Economy / Economics / Re: How freelancing websites killed design and developement bussinesses ... on: September 27, 2020, 01:47:04 PM
I think freelancing websites have killed the planning and development business because their skills are very low and there are not any employees within the client market there also are many employees who aren't ready to do as per the client's choice. as long as you're a freelancer but it'll not work if you're a freelancer but no client is hiring you then freelancing isn't for you during this age of data technology everything is moving forward.
If you want to become a freelancer, you need to have skills in a specific field to convince your client that you can work for them. You can give your portfolio to them to see what you already did in the past, which can be a positive point for you. If you search for the website that accepts freelancers, you will find many clients who need help from the freelancer. You don't have to bother with the payment because as long as you can get trust from your client, you will get more clients from them, which means you can increase your payment.
Also, you need a good portfolio because it will convince your next customer or client. It's not just about skills, the customer also needs an assurance that will guarantee the quality work.

The portfolio that you have made will also serve as your ratings. It's just like the same process happening in Upwork, a freelance website. If you have a lot of projects and good ratings, money isn't a problem anymore.
Having a portfolio is something that freelancers must have because they can get more customers or clients with that. Working at Upwork can be a good idea, and that will be the same as if you try to search for the client at Fivers.
The important is how we can improve our skills and give more portfolios in our profile, so before the customer or client hires us, they will see what kind of work we did before. Sooner or later, our payment will increase too because many clients trust our work.
8037  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet shutdowns by governments are bad for corporate marketing on: September 27, 2020, 01:04:04 PM
I am sure the government will not shutdown the internet, because human activities are currently very dependent on the internet.
So the impact will be very bad without the internet, not only corporations will be affected if the internet is shut down. However,
the government will also be affected, because current government activities also require the internet.

The world is going digital already even the central bank, so it's not right to shut down the internet in any reason.
Internet has become vital now as it's use everywhere and every activities, name it, online selling, online job and even online financial transaction.

Government should be sued if they'll do that.
If the government really shut down the internet, that can ruin everything because, in the digital era, almost all sectors use the internet to work. That sector really depends on the internet. So we can imagine if the internet shut down by the government, we will be back to the stone age, and nothing we can do to prevent that. That will be chaos and demonstration from the people. So the government won't try to shut down the internet, but they can still control the internet with their power.
8038  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: September 27, 2020, 12:24:27 PM
As a big country, the US economy will continue to recover. However, it will not happen quickly because the government needs to clarify first what they prioritize to recover. Not just the US, the other countries will also do the same, and whether it is developed countries or big countries, the process is still running. The recovery process will still run, no matter if the election will coming in November, and no matter who is in charge, they need to continue the recovery.

The advantage with US is that they can borrow huge amounts of money at near-zero interest rates. Now this is some advantage that the other nations can't count on. In the US they already had the first round of economic stimulus. The impact was visible in the economy, as the employment rate grew (although not to the level that they had prior to the pandemic). But a full economic recovery may not be possible until the virus is completely eradicated. Even now, anywhere from 700 to 1,200 new deaths are being reported every day from the United States.
8040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Less Volatile Coins on: September 26, 2020, 08:57:59 AM
I was once a beginner investing in coins, I had doubts about investing in digital currencies I was afraid my money would be lost, I got a suggestion from a friend to buy Ethereum coins and save it and now I get a profit, my advice is a beginner to buy potential coins and you will benefit like me.

If you invest in a crypto coin, you will face every coin's volatility, and if you can not find the potential coins, you will not make a profit. You are lucky to have ethereum as your investment so that you can make a profit. In the crypto market, you will find the other potential coin difficult because you need to analyze one by one to get that coins. If you want to invest in the less volatility coin, you can use a stable coin that is not too volatile than the other coins, but I don't think that the profit will be bigger than the other coins.
