Both can work. You need to distinguish your situation and which is strategy that you're comfortable with. I'm not an expert on this but technically there is a possibility if there's a consensus that wants to keep the chain of ETH moving even after the transition of ETH to ETH2. If it happened in the past and a split has occurred then there's a slight chance that it can happen. But the majority will just have to go with the flow and be with ETH2 and they'll find it a waste if they'll keep on ETH after the successful shift if only a few people will stay or support the idea. |

I am not from the Philippines, so don't know much about his performance as a senator. But if Lorence.xD is correct, then Pacquaio should wait for a decade or so, rather than jumping in to the fray next year. One thing I know is that Rodrigo Duterte is extremely popular. But he won't be able to run again, due to term-restrictions. IMO, Philippines needs someone like Duterte to continue the good work, rather than a public figure like Pacquiao who have very little experience in politics.
