8081  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Which stage for a ico project do you think is the best time to invest it? on: July 13, 2018, 04:06:08 AM
Huh

It's depend on your own preferences and view about the project.

Sometimes people preferred to just put money once they saw a) an active developers that interact with the community b) good roadmap and developments and c) out of buying the hype. That was during sales period.

Now after sales, it will depend how it will behave on the exchanges. How much liquidiy it can established, how much volume it can produced, the impact of the hype etc.

After this statement, your assignment now is, how will you solved your concern?
8082  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: July 13, 2018, 03:30:30 AM
"All the hackers in the world are targeting cryptocurrencies." -Eric Larcheveque, CEO Ledger Wallet Company

It's not that hackers are smarter than exchanges, it's just that they are focused too much to find the weak spot of every exchanges security. No such thing as other priority but focus on single goal of hacking a certain exchange. They spend time on it, they dedicated their time on it, they do brainstorming on it etc. Just imagine the group of all-star hackers once they shared their knowledge to each other.....success!

Exchanges security is not a joke. It's difficult to breached and can't bypassed easily. But again once hackers focused on destroying it, chances that they can get through is possible.

8084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 12, 2018, 11:59:11 PM

Cousins is the biggest dumbass joining the gsw. Earning only a minimum for a superstar like him does not fit his payrate. Sacrificing his earnings for the sake of a championship is not a good idea to begin with.

Again as we discussed here, Boogie is receiving no such good offer contrary to what he is expecting so since he will still got a below minimum earnings to other teams (for let's say just a little bit higher to what the Warriors offered him), he take the bait on the Warriors + a good chance to land on finals. There would be lots of critisicms if he transferred there as healthy and still accept the low payment. Remember that he wants a max contract from any team and he asked Pelicans must matched it for him to stay. See his money making move here?

My speculation is, he will just let this year passed and will make sure that he will be on All-Star level payment next season to whichever teams. There are no statement from him why he joined the Warriors and I think they won't say the reason so I just have to leaved it as it is.
8085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is there any online full time job to work from home and get paid in bitcoin? on: July 12, 2018, 11:36:20 PM
I was wondering if I can get a job to work from the comfort of my home and get paid in bitcoins becuase I want to quit my current job and want to be my own boss... suggest me jobs

Learn crypto fundamentals first because you are risking your income here. There are some crypto related works you can do at home but you are the one who must make it good for long term. There is no fixed payment and stable work on a start and you have to make something out of it before you feel that you can lived now with your crypto earnings. It will take time so I suggest to find other physical job if you are not happy with your current work while at the same time, you are studying ways to make your crypto earnings as stable income. And removed the comfort thing, even you worked at home it doesn't mean that will be an instant comfort at your work.

You can follow those suggested above but you must be dedicated and eager to do it if you really want to pushed it. Well then, Goodluck.
8086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The hard Truth on: July 12, 2018, 11:17:42 PM
Throughout my trading education(self-learning) most contents I read or watch regarding crypto trading states it point blank that "about 90% of crypto traders lose their funds"in the cause of trading.

This has somehow made me lose interest in learning to trade. Does this mean, that as a new trader or even the professionals have a marginal percentage of being successful in crypto trading? if your answer is no, then I guess there is rules or ethics you abide by that has made you successful in most of your trading.

I would be glad if members could share with us some of their tips and guides they've adopted in trading. I think good submissions will be of help to most people in this forum.

Thanks in advance!

Meaning you are not eager to undergo trading yet. You lose interest just because you read "that 90% lose" meaning you are still in doubt if you will continue to do trades or not. No such thing as you are really interested because why such gave a conclusion of what you read even you don't have an experienced on it? And to the point that you do self-study, that is the highlight of what you have study instead of advantages of doing trades?

There is no 100% winning percentage in trades. Yes even professional and long time traders still experienced mistakes but what matters here is, the winning stats is way more dominant compare to losing stats. It's fine to loss but overall, you won a lot. Didn't you know that losses makes us more better traders because we are doing something to prevent it from happening again.
8087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holds Above $6k on: July 12, 2018, 10:56:00 PM
...the reason why the market price is dropping today is because of traders in the market who is not good enough to handle the pressure.

Disagree.

Remember that dumping is also part of a strategy and can't be considered as wrong doing. Literally, people dump not just they are minimizing the loss but of course, to get profit out it. So can we say that those who got profits from selling recently aren't good enough the handle the pressure? See the point here?

There are really traders who are not enthusiast of long term hodl or should we say that they are taking advantage of price swings. It's a common doing. Risky after all because of short term phase but if that's their strategy and they are getting good result, then let them dump.
8088  Other / Meta / Re: Many Newbies posting the exact same message, Mod action required on: July 11, 2018, 11:03:29 PM
Ok, what about other bounties? As you know there are a lot of scammers who use inactive and not their bitcointalk usernames and register in 1 action bounties. They just register wallets. To prevent this many bounty managers ask to post "proof" that it is your account and that it is you, who participate in this bounty.
What will you say about it and may be you know how to solve this problem with scammers?

Just informed the bounty manager that you found another user using your username. It will worked believed me and it was the most common way to deal with that abusive participants.

What if the managers don't believed? It's easy to show proofs especially if you already joined other bounties in the past. In the case that it's your first time to do bounty then as stated above, you just need to add your address on your profile and that's it.

8089  Economy / Reputation / Re: Is this Phishing site? I'm afraid. on: July 11, 2018, 10:32:07 PM

Another reason why people must stay away with it is because of associated software that needs to be download. That software will run the bot. I checked the site to see what's going on there and to find much detailed information so that we can warned users. Surely a user needs to login to that software and then that's it, the logged account now have chances to be hacked.

And aside from that, it says that the download link of the software will be received within 4 hours and contact them if no email was received. In here, we aren't sure if the software really exist so probably a scam attempt. I used an invalid email so I can't checked if there is really a software.

STAY AWAY!
8090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 11, 2018, 10:08:45 PM

That is why Cousins also took that 5m deal. His agent might be in panic for no team wants him because of the injury.
I am guessing GSW management just want to use him for some game.
30 games for 5m could be enough.  Grin and it is just a one year contract. He might be a star but the injury will still make other management fear it would come back. And yes it will.

As of that Paul Pierce quote.
He is right. That way he could also preserve his stamina by going half court without dribbling the ball. Make himself an off guard again or a small forward. Stay low and do some perimeters. Let Rondo do the passing, he is good with it.

Cousins really want a max contract from any team once free agency hit. He really aimed for that but because of the injury and I think less offer now from other teams unlike prior to injury where he is one of the most targeted player next season, he now accept a small deal. Max contract then only few games will played this season? Cheesy Really a waste of salary space unless a team that will offered that truly believes that Boogie will be deadly in the upcoming season.

But who knows, that small deal may take him into his first finals appearance or probably a championship if Golden State Warriors can make it again. He just have to play good whatever it takes once he recovered so a better deal will be offered to him next season.
8091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading? on: July 11, 2018, 09:46:10 PM
Where you take inspiration when you tired from trading?
i hard to say when you sometimes tired from trading or have stress from ico or lose part of deposit. What you do to relax refresh youself and get inspiration for new trade. How much time you need to refresh youself for new hight.

No way I will get tired at trading if my purpose and goals are always met even in a bearish market, physically and emotionally. And what's the best part? The result of it. This year, I always have an out of town to treat myself and family to relax but it doesn't mean Im tired. It's just that you need to rest sometimes.

My inspiration of course are all the reasons why Im doing this crypto stuff e.g trading. Take that reasons as your energy boost to meet your targets. Once you aim for your goal, you need to do reached it no matter what.
8092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to help all for trading on: July 11, 2018, 08:42:37 PM
I am new to trading. Please suggest me some good marketplace for trading.

It will be difficult for us to give an advice since your information was limited.

a) What kind of "new" to trading? Already have some coins or not? So that we can direct you to a trading platform where that coin is listed and not just we will give you a random exchange based on our taste.
b) If totally new as in from the start, what knowledge or idea you currently have now about what coins you want to trade? Lots of coins and we don't want to just suggest you a specific coin.
c) I suggest to read trading basics via searching some useful links on Google as first phase of your study.

This will take time so if you are eager to learned then spend time on it.
8093  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Be calm when the market falls on: July 11, 2018, 08:20:02 PM
One strategy that works best in times of fall in the market is to remain calm, and not allow yourself to be blown by panic. Just hold the tokens with large caps and even if possible, buy more tokens and hold. For some coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum, it is always certain that whenever there is a fall, there is definitely going to be a rise.

What will you do when the market falls?

Trading emotion is a human nature so it's normal to react when a certain trend didn't meet our expectation of what should happened.

What matters here is, even we overreact to the situation still the "patience" side dominates the whole emotion. That's why for me it's better for a new trader to experienced loss on the way because if they will just used to win in every trades providing the trend is always an uptrend, surely they didn't know what to do once a price crash happened.

Because of those losses, that new trader will now be used to it and will began practicing how to control their emotions so that they can make a good strategy to minimize their future loss. That's the time they will understand how to be calm and patience at all time especially during a market crash.
8094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Converting 1 BTC to 100 BTC on: July 11, 2018, 07:36:58 PM
Is it really possible ? I heard a youtuber making video on it by using bitmex.... is it really a good option to trade on bitmex using 100x leverage? Seeing the risk/reward ratio it looks tempting but the risk looks far more haunting

Possibility yes but for how much is the chances.... that's the question. Maybe 5%, 3%, 1%, 0.5% or even at 0.00001%.

Don't just be easily amazed to that kind of activity as if that's how simple to earned then you must see majority of traders doing that. Please set your mindset to the closest thing that can ever be happened so that you are bound to improved your strategy for every trades you will make.

High risk, high reward  but don't waste time to a risk that is not worth to take a shot.
8095  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Yobit BTG withdraw! on: July 11, 2018, 07:14:40 PM
Someone know yobit exchange is scam or not?
I can't withdraw my BTG.Thank you. Shocked

What exactly does the problem? You already execute the withdraw function and it's on process or there is still balance but you aren't able to withdraw? May we know what is the error prompt?

Yobit like anyone mentioned here is considered as one of the shit exchanges around. There have been lots of issues already with these exchange. It was based on user's experienced so take that as reference. As for me, I didn't have such experienced but it doesn't mean I trust them. It's like playing with the risks since I have coins that only can be traded at Yobit so no choice but to deal with it.
8096  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trading or Holding Cryptocurrency for long time on: July 11, 2018, 06:22:53 PM
Considering the present market situation, which one will be more benefiting whether Daily trading or holding cryptocurrency for long time? Please let me know.

It's depend on your own preferences so do your assignment and spent time on as even we suggest you do this or that still it will be managed by your own hands. On the way, all things will be handed by your own strategy.

There are some people who preferred to do day trades, same with holding no matter what market situation is. In here you can see that both are being done and not just stick to the idea of just doing one. Now to see for yourself what you really preferred then risks some money and test it on actual trades. Make that as your testing stage and see what will be the output. You can't really avoid spending extra bucks just to check if your strategy is good or not.

Hope that you will learned on the process.
8097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How useful is bounty programs to the overall success of icos? on: July 11, 2018, 05:05:06 PM
Is bounty programs impacting negatively or positively to the success of icos?

Generally speaking, yes it gives positive effect on a certain ICO. No way it will be grow like that if it's not effective in the first place. There are lots of successful ICOs in the past that held bounty campaign here. It's becomes one of the effective way to spread awareness of a certain project or coin without harming too much of the owners money since the payment was their own coin.

But because of the bounty hype, shit and scam ICO takes advantage of it. Aside from that other bounty participants spammed the forum too making dirt to what bounty program should be.
8098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: July 11, 2018, 03:03:05 PM

Not the system of Walton but the way Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson played. These guys are not used to have a one man team player in their respective former teams. These guys are used to ball rotation plays. The blending of these 3 will be good if all things are successfully executed on the way. If LeBron is the only new acquired player of the Lakers then I believed that his system will be brought to the Lakers but it's not.

That is one more factor that we need to see.
This guys are team players. Their kind of game might get affected when this see Lebron doing everything. (including ball handling which Rondo loves).
I bet this is also why Kyrie left the Cavs. He wants the ball handling to be taken care by him and not Lebron.

Critics will be looking at this team and there will be different stories that will come out. What if's, who and why.  Grin
I wanted to see how Lance will play together with Lebron. I remember before when Lebron is in Miami and Lance is in Pacers, he can guard Lebron well. This guy is good, hope his talent won't be wasted because of Lebron playing style, ballhog. Although Lebron is really a good player, he shouldn't play like that if he wants his team mate help him and contribute in scoring. Let's see if this three can build a chemistry.

These players are more of matured now and with the characteristics of Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson, I think they are not a type of player that will just allow anyone to just do the tasks on their own.

As Paul Pierce said: far.

“As LeBron gets older in age, he needs guys like Rondo and Lonzo Ball to bring the ball up and make plays for him — guys like Lance that can make plays because as he advances in age he has to find different ways to score and make life easier on himself. Having a guy like Rondo definitely improves the team’s IQ.”

Well then, we just have to see it once season begin.

Im really disagree that Golden State Warriors now formed a most superteam in the NBA as mentioned by the others because of the addition of DeMarcus Cousins. No such thing as they destroying the NBA. Didn't they know that torn achilles that Boogie experienced this year is one of the worst injury that happened on a player. Estimated recovery is 8-10 months so still we can't expect a 100% performance by Boogie once he came back maybe on January or February this year.

But if the healing process goes right, Boogie is definitely no doubt one of the reason why Warriors will become more of a deadly team once playoffs come. Chances for Warriors to sealed again another championship is definitely at higher percentage. Hope other teams will do some adjustments to make this season more competitive.
8099  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Restored coinomi wallet not showing BCH on: July 11, 2018, 02:40:08 PM
Several months ago I restored an old Mycelium wallet on coinomi, then sent BCH from an Armory cold wallet to that coinomi wallet.

Last night my son factory reset my phone, but when i restore the coinomi (using the same Mycelium seed) the BCH does not appear. I went to add coins, and set the path to M/44H/0H/0H but that didnt work...

Is my BCH gone for good?

You able to backup your 12 phrase seed on Coinomi Wallet? Try to restore your Coinomi Wallet using it's backup (not using the MyCelium seed).

Coinomi holds your BCH I guess as you used their address to received your BCH.
8100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: July 11, 2018, 06:33:12 AM
Just a couple of days before the actual fight. I'm sure that the Philippines is already preparing PPV shows all over. hhahaha. They all love Manny and even though he lost some of his luster, Filipinos still loves to watch his fight live in every bar and even in a cinema. That's how Filipino loves him because he really one specially boxer and its going hard to be duplicated again.

Yes. Some nearby bars are offering a live telecast now. Not just for Manny but there are Filipinos on undercard too. I have a ticket pass honestly on one of those but unfortunately I like to watched at home because I can't make it to travel by that early in the morning. It's weekend so restday and I want to stay at home. There are lots of free streaming sites available just as before. I just need to find a server early as slots are limited.

Back to topic, Pacquiao and Matthysee are still on weight maintaining training as part of preparation for the upcoming weigh-in on Saturday. Both believed they will be in for weight limit and I guess too that there will be no problem.
